The Bible Believers Sunday Service
THE NTEB HOUSE CHURCH SUNDAY SERVICE: Compel Them To Come In
Last night for the Nights of Lights in Saint Augustine, we witnessed to thousands, and we prayed for, prayed with and prayed over every soul who stopped to talk with us.
Last night we took the NTEB Street Preaching Team to downtown Saint Augustine to hand out gospel tracts and preach Paul’s gospel of the kingdom of God as we do every year at this time. We had a full house as upwards of 20,000 souls were walking the streets to celebrate the annual Nights Of Lights holiday festival. In the midst of this very modern 21st-century event, I was reminded that street preaching and witnessing for the Lord Jesus Christ is the original ministry given to Christians to carry out as we wait for the His soon return to come get us.
“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23 (KJB)
Our theme last night was God’s amazing love for sinners, and we preached on John 3:16 and Romans 10:13 the entire time. We had a box filled with around 1,000 gospel tracts, a couple of hundred of which had little candy canes taped to the back of them. We witnessed to thousands, and we prayed for, prayed with and prayed over every soul who stopped to talk with us. John was a teenager who said the he couldn’t get saved because ‘he was too bad’, and we prayed over him and asked the Lord to make Himself real to John. Keep him in your prayers this week. We’ve been preaching on the streets on the same corner for over a decade now, we stopped counting after handing out a million tracts and seeing dozens pray to get saved. Today on this Sunday Service, I want to call you to go out into the ‘highways and hedges’ where you live, compel them to come in to partake of God’s awesome love for sinners, and show them how they can be ‘washed in the blood’ of Jesus Christ.

- I thanked God for sending to your website in 2015 , I live in the South of France near Nice and let me tell you here there isn’t any Bible Believing church at all, the sad reality of France is that is full of freemasons and Muslims. You came to me at the time I was going to take my own life because of my job. You’re anointed person and I pray for you, family and ministry because you’re a blessing to all of us. May God bless you always. I know I’ll meet you in heaven one day. Lots of Love from your sister in Christ, Paula.
- “Hi Geoffrey and staff, Today is my one year anniversary that I got saved on your podcast! I am now a KJB only, I threw away my other two versions I had. I was shocked to learn of the differences and how the new versions twist the words of God, and dilute the message at best. Thank you for the fabulous bible education and fire for the Lord. I donate on your website throughout the year. Thanks for all that you do.” Donna
- “I’ve been a listener to Geoffrey’s podcast on Spreaker for a couple of years and am so glad to see his show now available on iTunes. This show is scripturally and doctrinally accurate as well as informative. The NTEB podcast is where you can get all the latest updates on unfolding prophecy news and what’s more is Geoffrey backs it up with scripture. You do not want to miss out on the exceptional King James Bible teaching, and analysis of what’s going on in our world as it relates to scripture!” John Christopher
- “The sole purpose of this email to you is to let you know how much we have been blessed by your amazing ministry/website. ‘We’ is my wife and I, in our early forties, 3 kids, professing, churchgoing, bible believing Christians in The Netherlands. Since two months, I listen to your bible studies on Sunday evening, and since this week also to your prophecy podcast. I listen to them in the archives, because of the 6 hour time difference. The shofar and the blessing at 0:30 into the study never fails to make tears in my eyes. We are praying for you, we are praying for your voice, that it lasts in these incredible busy times for you. Listening to your podcasts, you seem to do it effortlessly, talking, scanning the chatbox for questions, diving into the texts, from Genesis to Revelation and everything in between, I love it when you realize after 1:30h into the study, actually a lot more subjects need to be addressed! Thank you for all your work and effort, you are doing an amazing job. Although it all seems effortlessly, I know it is not…Our faith is strengthened by your work and we are able to testify in a better way to the people around us!” Wouter D. van der Wiel
- “Wanted to send you encouragement and thank you for all you are doing!! I’ve been reading from this website for about 5 years and I’ve been on this at least 10 times a day. It’s the most honest prophecy website in history. And you have ministered to me greatly. This lockdown has been amazing as God gets us unto himself and smooths out the paths for us. I was reading devotional from Kenneth Copeland and during that time you had really hit That ministries hard. I was not Word Faith but I was feeding off his teaching. During this time I have removed Kenneth Copeland I wanted to thank you for your exposure of his ministry. Holy Spirit is truly the leader of all truths. The bible study on Bill Gates was tremendous. And I had the same check in my spirit as you did. He’s the guy that gonna lead this one world revolution Amazing times we live in. I’m super excited and living in total victory and peace. Once again thank you for the time you put in your reward in heaven will truly be great. Looking forward to this coming week. My prayer tonight is this …Father send Your Son!! DG
- “Thank you oh so much for sound teaching. I am so thankful and blessed for clicking on your channel. I have been on your Facebook page since 2011 and never subscribed to you-tube channel until today. I loved the live recording of singing, what a delight to hear the joy of the Lord in the voices of the congregation. So wonderful to hear the part about Luke 12:36, that has made my eyebrows furrow when I read and therefore I have always steadfast to not leaning on my own understanding. May God continue to bless you, your family friends and loved ones. All Glory be to Jesus, my Saviour Redeemer and King, Amen.” Susan Anderson
- “Loved this teaching! Presented in a clear contextual manner that was easy to follow along. You connected the dots for me that had previously brought so much confusion, namely the 4th seal covenant, the 5th seal tribulation saints, and the 6th seal 2nd Coming of Christ AFTER the wedding of the Body/Bride of Christ IN HEAVEN. Wow, after 41 years since my being born again by the Holy Spirit in to the Body of Christ, I finally have the answers to end the confusion. What joy and peace has flooded my heart! Thank you for this encouraging teaching of the Word.” SB
- “I am from Sri Lanka and listen to the radio Bible study every week.” Nihal Perera
Nothing thrills my soul like teaching the word of God, it is what the Lord called me to do 29 years ago, and Now The End Begins is the vehicle in which I am able to do it. How exciting it is to be able to teach the Bible to tens of thousands of people per year. Like I told you with the first post of 2020, I have dedicated myself now full-time to NTEB, and it is only through your generous support that such a thing is possible.

- “Jesus. I am now 64 years old and never in all the years I’ve been a Christian was I able to grow in the Lord as much as I have in the last past year. All because of our blessed brother’s work Geoffrey Grider who as the bravery of standing fast forward without fear of claiming the truth of God by the power of his love in Jesus Christ. May God bless you abundantly to the end my dear brother… ROMANS: 8: 36,37,38” Mireille Anderson
- “I met you at the car dealership earlier this year. We spoke briefly, then you handed me a card and told me to check out the website. You left. A few minutes later, you returned to tell me not to forget to look up the website. I told you…” I already did. I already subscribed.” In that short time we spoke, I experienced from you…a total stranger…peace, joy, kindness, gentleness, compassion, and love. I am convinced that God sent you to share the Good News that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. For that, and for the work you are doing for the Kingdom of God, I say…Thank you and God Bless You.” Sonia Merced

- “I’m a KJB believer. We’re so close to being “caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I have many lost family who don’t want the truth, including my husband & son. I’ve been banned from seeing my grandsons since I comforted the 4 1/2 year old with sharing Jesus loving the little children & telling him about the one who created him last he stayed overnight March 3rd. He was so excited to hear about Jesus! His dad (my son) was angry that I told him & wants me to apologize. I never will do so. If my own family won’t hear, I know there’s others searching for the truth. My heart grieves for all the lost who will spend eternity in hell if they reject the Lord Jesus Christ, the expectant hope of the world. He is not willing that any should perish. God bless your ministry, Geoffrey! (I continue to pass out your tracts & you’re on my prayer list!)” LouAnn Benham
- “Love the Sunday night bible study. I want to support someone who has the passion for the lost like Geoffrey does and rightly divides the word of God. God bless you.” Teresa Carey
- “I give because not many news outlets are brave enough or Godly enough to tell these stories from a Christian’s point of view. I see stories here that will not be seen anywhere else.” William Grayshaw

THE BIBLE BELIEVERS SUNDAY SERVICE: I Stand With The Jews
I Stand With The Jews Not Because Israel Is Perfect, But Because God Is Faithful, His Covenant Is Everlasting, And His Prophetic Word Concerning Jerusalem Cannot Fail
To say “I stand with the Jews” is not to deny Israel’s present unbelief, excuse every decision made by the modern state, or pretend that the Jewish people are righteous apart from Jesus Christ. It is to recognize the unmistakable testimony of Scripture: God made everlasting promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, preserved their descendants through centuries of dispersion and persecution, and has not cast away His people. The same Bible that reveals Israel’s rebellion also reveals Israel’s future restoration. Therefore, the Christian who stands with the Jews is not endorsing sin; he is refusing to join the nations in despising a people whom God still calls “beloved for the fathers’ sakes.” We can preach the gospel to the Jew, oppose unbelief and still reject the hatred, mockery and violence that have followed them across the centuries. Christian, I stand with the Jews according to God’s word. Where do you stand?
“As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.” Romans 11:28 (KJB)
Standing with the Jews may place a Christian in an uncomfortable position, especially when both secular culture and parts of the professing Church turn against Israel. But faithfulness has never been measured by popularity. The prophets warned that the nations would gather against Jerusalem, while the apostles warned Gentile believers not to boast against the natural branches. Our duty is clear: pray for the peace of Jerusalem, defend the Jewish people against hatred, preach Jesus Christ as their true Messiah and trust God to fulfill every promise He made to them. Israel may be rebellious today, but God is not finished with Israel—and the Christian who believes the Bible should be willing to stand where God’s Word stands, even when that position is misunderstood or hated.
The Bible Believers Sunday Service: I Stand With The Jews
I Stand With The Jews – Introduction
On January 20, 1942, Nazi leaders met in Wannsee for the “final solution of the Jewish question”. Emigrating the Jews was a slow and inefficient process, and they needed something that would do the job faster. What follows is a transcript from that event.
“SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, Head of the Security Police and the SD, opened the meeting with the announcement that the Reich Marshal had put him in charge of preparations for the final solution of the Jewish question. He noted that this conference had been convened to clarify fundamental questions. In the course of the practical implementation of the final solution, Europe will be combed through from West to East for Jews.
Priority will have to be given to the territory of the Reich, including the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, if only because of the housing issue and other socio-political needs. The evacuated Jews will first be taken, group by group, to so-called transit ghettos, from where they will be transported onwards to the East and the concentration camps. In large labour columns, separated by sex, the Jews capable of working will be dispatched to these regions to build roads. In the process, a large portion will undoubtedly drop out through natural reduction.”
This was the purpose of the Wannsee Conference: not to decide whether Europe’s Jews would be destroyed, but to ensure that the destruction proceeded without friction. Authority from Göring was cited. Ministries were aligned. Railways, police, and civil administrations were synchronized. The protocol calmly listed some eleven million Jews, country by country, marked for elimination. Genocide was no longer a campaign of violence on the margins of war; it was now a centrally coordinated state policy.
The moral language would come later—and it would be even more revealing. In October 1943, Heinrich Himmler addressed SS officers at Posen and spoke openly of what had been done. The extermination of the Jews, he said, was “a page of glory in our history that has never been written and shall never be written.” He praised his men for carrying out mass murder while remaining, in his words, “decent.” To kill women and children and still consider oneself honorable—that, Himmler insisted, required discipline, endurance, and loyalty. It was a “difficult,” even “thankless,” task.
“Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.” Jeremiah 16:16 (KJB)
“And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.” Jeremiah 29:14 (KJB)
I Stand With The Jews
Main Text
“As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” Romans 11:28–29 (KJB)
Central Truth
The Jewish people are presently in spiritual blindness and unbelief, but God has not abandoned His covenant promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David. The Christian is called to reject antisemitism, refuse to boast against Israel, preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Jew, and believe the promises concerning Israel’s future national redemption.
I. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE GOD CHOSE THEM
God’s choosing of Israel did not originate in their goodness, greatness, or righteousness. It originated in His sovereign purpose and covenant faithfulness.
- God chose Abraham and his seed
“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:1-3 (KJB)
The Jewish people exist because God called one man, Abraham, and promised to make of him a great nation.
- The covenant passed through Isaac
“And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.” Genesis 17:19 (KJB)
God specifically declared that the covenant line would pass through Isaac.
- The covenant passed through Jacob
“And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.” Genesis 28:13 (KJB)
“And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 28:14 (KJB)
The promises were confirmed to Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel.
- Israel was chosen to be a peculiar people
“For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.” Deuteronomy 7:6 (KJB)
“The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people.” Deuteronomy 7:7 (KJB)
Truth
Israel’s chosen position rests upon God’s promise, not upon Israel’s performance.
Application
I stand with the Jews because God chose them, made covenant promises to their fathers, and declared that His calling cannot be reversed by human rebellion.
II. I STAND WITH THE JEWS WHILE RECOGNIZING THEIR PRESENT REBELLION
Standing with the Jewish people does not require pretending that modern Israel is spiritually righteous. The Bible openly records Israel’s sin, rebellion, unbelief, and rejection of the Messiah.
- Israel repeatedly rebelled against God
“But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.” Deuteronomy 32:15 (KJB)
“They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.” Deuteronomy 32:16 (KJB)
Israel’s chosen status never made Israel immune from chastisement.
- Israel rejected the prophets
“Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations.” Nehemiah 9:26 (KJB)
- Israel rejected Jesus Christ
“He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” John 1:11 (KJB)
“But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him.” John 19:15 (KJB)
- Israel presently possesses zeal without saving knowledge
“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.” Romans 10:1-3 (KJB)
- Israel is presently blinded in part
“What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.” Romans 11:7 (KJB)
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” Romans 11:25 (KJB)
Truth
Israel is presently blinded, largely secular, and unbelieving toward Jesus Christ.
Application
I do not stand with Israel because Israel is sinless. I stand with Israel because God is faithful. I can acknowledge Israel’s rebellion without joining those who despise the Jewish people.
III. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE GOD HAS NOT CAST THEM AWAY
The New Testament directly answers the question of whether God has finished with Israel.
- Paul’s answer is unmistakable
“I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid.” Romans 11:1 (KJB)
The phrase “God forbid” leaves no room for replacement theology.
- A believing Jewish remnant remains
“Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.” Romans 11:5 (KJB)
God has always preserved a remnant of believing Jews.
- Israel’s fall is not final
“I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.” Romans 11:11 (KJB)
Israel stumbled, but Israel did not fall beyond recovery.
- Israel remains beloved because of the fathers
“As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” Romans 11:28,29 (KJB)
God does not revoke His covenant calling because of human failure.
Truth
Israel’s present unbelief has not cancelled God’s future purpose.
Application
I stand with the Jews because the God who made the promises has not changed His mind.
IV. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE THE GENTILES WERE WARNED NOT TO BOAST
Paul warned Gentile believers against pride, arrogance, and contempt toward Israel.
- Gentiles were grafted into spiritual blessings
“And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree.” Romans 11:17 (KJB)
- Gentiles are commanded not to boast
“Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.” Romans 11:18 (KJB)
- Gentiles are warned against pride
“Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear.” Romans 11:20 (KJB)
- God is able to graft Israel in again
“And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.” Romans 11:23 (KJB)
Truth
The Church has no biblical right to become proud, boastful, or hateful toward the Jewish people.
Application
A Christian who despises the Jews is boasting against the branches and ignoring a direct apostolic warning.
V. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE GOD GAVE THEM THE SCRIPTURES AND THE PROMISES
The Jewish people were the human channel through which God gave the world His written revelation and the promised Messiah.
- The oracles of God were committed to the Jews
“What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.” Romans 3:1,2 (KJB)
- The covenants and promises belong to Israel
“Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises.” Romans 9:4 (KJB)
- Jesus Christ came through Israel according to the flesh
“Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 9:5 (KJB)
- Salvation came to the world through the Jews
“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” John 4:22 (KJB)
Truth
The Bible, the prophets, the covenants, and the earthly lineage of Jesus Christ all came through Israel.
Application
Christians should possess humility and gratitude toward the people through whom God brought His written Word and His incarnate Son into the world.
VI. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE THE LAND WAS PROMISED TO THEM
The land of Israel is not merely a modern political invention. Its boundaries and ownership were established by covenant.
- God promised the land to Abraham’s seed
“In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.” Genesis 15:18 (KJB)
- The land was given as an everlasting possession
“And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” Genesis 17:8 (KJB)
- The land belongs to God
“The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.” Leviticus 25:23 (KJB)
- Jerusalem occupies a unique place in God’s purpose
“Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.” Psalm 2:6 (KJB)
“For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.” Psalm 132:13 (KJB)
Truth
Israel’s connection to the land is rooted in divine covenant, though Israel has never yet possessed the full promised territory in permanent peace.
Application
I stand with Israel’s biblical right to the land while remembering that the complete fulfillment awaits the reign of Jesus Christ.
VII. I STAND WITH THE JEWS WITHOUT EXCUSING EVERY ACTION OF THEIR GOVERNMENT
Biblical support for Israel is not blind political loyalty. No government is above moral judgment.
- God judged Israel’s rulers
“Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed.” Isaiah 10:1 (KJB)
“The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof.” Isaiah 3:14 (KJB)
- The prophets confronted Israel’s sins
“Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity.” Micah 3:9 (KJB)
- Christians must judge matters righteously
“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” John 7:24 (KJB)
Truth
Supporting the Jewish people does not mean declaring every decision of the Israeli government righteous.
Application
I can defend Israel’s existence, reject antisemitism, and believe God’s promises while still judging political conduct according to truth and righteousness.
VIII. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BY PREACHING JESUS CHRIST TO THEM
True love for the Jewish people includes a desire for their salvation.
- Religious heritage cannot save
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 (KJB)
- Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 (KJB)
- There is no salvation in any other name
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 (KJB)
- The gospel is to the Jew first
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16 (KJB)
- Paul’s burden was for Israel’s salvation
“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” Romans 10:1 (KJB)
Truth
A Jewish person is not saved by ethnicity, circumcision, law-keeping, ancestry, or residence in Israel.
Application
I do not truly love the Jewish people if I defend them politically but refuse to tell them about their Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.
IX. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE THE PROPHETS FORETELL THEIR NATIONAL REPENTANCE
Israel’s present spiritual blindness will not last forever.
- Israel will look upon the One whom they pierced
“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced.” Zechariah 12:10 (KJB)
- Israel will mourn in national repentance
“And the land shall mourn, every family apart.” Zechariah 12:12 (KJB)
- A fountain will be opened for cleansing
“In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” Zechariah 13:1 (KJB)
- The Jewish remnant will call upon the Lord
“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.” Zechariah 13:9 (KJB)
Truth
The prophets foretell a future Jewish remnant that will recognize, mourn for, and call upon the Lord.
Application
I stand with the Jews because I know their present blindness is not the end of their story.
X. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST WILL RETURN TO JERUSALEM
The Second Advent is centered upon Israel, Jerusalem, and the return of Israel’s rejected King.
- Christ will stand upon the Mount of Olives
“Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east.” Zechariah 14:3,4 (KJB)
- Jerusalem will behold her King
“Behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation.” Zechariah 9:9 (KJB)
The first coming fulfilled the presentation of the King; the Second Advent will bring His visible reign.
- Israel will finally receive the One they rejected
“For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” Matthew 23:39 (KJB)
- The Deliverer will come out of Sion
“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer. For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” Romans 11:26,27 (KJB)
Truth
At the Second Advent, the Lord Jesus Christ will return physically, visibly, and victoriously to Jerusalem.
Application
I stand with the Jews because their Messiah is coming back to redeem the remnant, destroy Israel’s enemies, and establish His kingdom.
XI. I STAND WITH THE JEWS BECAUSE GOD WILL JUDGE THE NATIONS THAT ATTACK THEM
The prophets repeatedly warn that the nations will gather against Jerusalem in the last days.
- The nations will gather against Jerusalem
“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people.” Zechariah 12:2,3 (KJB)
- God will seek to destroy the nations that attack Jerusalem
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” Zechariah 12:9 (KJB)
- All nations will gather against Jerusalem
“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle.” Zechariah 14:2 (KJB)
- The nations will be judged according to their treatment of Israel
“For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.” Joel 3:1,2 (KJB)
Truth
The final global attack upon Israel will bring the direct intervention and judgment of God.
Application
I will not join the hatred that Scripture says will ultimately consume the nations. I will stand on the side of God’s revealed purpose.
XII. I STAND WITH THE JEWS EVEN WHEN IT IS UNPOPULAR
Biblical truth has never depended upon public approval.
- The believer must obey God rather than men
“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29 (KJB)
- The servant of Christ cannot live for human approval
“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10 (KJB)
- Truth may create enemies
“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” Galatians 4:16 (KJB)
- The believer must stand
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13 (KJB)
Truth
Standing with the Jewish people may bring opposition from secular society, religious institutions, and even professing Christians.
Application
My position is not determined by public opinion. It is determined by the written Word of God.
WHAT “I STAND WITH THE JEWS” DOES NOT MEAN
It does not mean:
- That Jewish people are automatically saved.
- That modern Israel is living under the Law of Moses.
- That every Israeli politician or military action is righteous.
- That Christians should worship the nation of Israel.
- That the Church and Israel are the same body.
- That the Church has replaced Israel.
- That Jewish unbelief should be ignored.
- That the gospel should be withheld from the Jewish people.
WHAT “I STAND WITH THE JEWS” DOES MEAN
It means:
- I reject antisemitism in every form.
- I recognize God’s covenant promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
- I believe the land promises will be fulfilled literally.
- I refuse to boast against the natural branches.
- I pray for the salvation of the Jewish people.
- I preach Jesus Christ as Israel’s only Messiah and Saviour.
- I believe Israel’s blindness is temporary.
- I believe a Jewish remnant will be redeemed.
- I believe Jesus Christ will return to Jerusalem.
- I believe God will keep every promise He made.
CLOSING TRUTH
Israel is presently blinded, but not abandoned.
Israel is presently unbelieving, but not forgotten.
Israel is presently scattered and surrounded by enemies, but not removed from God’s prophetic plan.
The Christian does not stand with the Jews because they are always right. The Christian stands with the Jews because God is always right.
CLOSING CHALLENGE
Will you believe God’s promises when the world mocks them?
Will you reject antisemitism even when hatred of the Jews becomes socially acceptable?
Will you pray for Israel’s salvation instead of merely arguing about Israel’s politics?
Will you love the Jewish people enough to defend them from hatred and enough to preach Jesus Christ to them?
Will you stand with the Jews when doing so causes others to stand against you?
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” Psalm 122:6 (KJB)
I stand with the Jews—not because Israel is without sin, but because God is without repentance concerning His gifts, His calling, His covenants, and His promises.

THE BIBLE BELIEVERS SUNDAY SERVICE: The Last Man Standing
Will You Be The Last Man Standing When The Lord Jesus Comes For His Church And The Good Fight Of Faith Finally Reaches The Finish Line?
The Bible never presents the Christian life as a casual walk through friendly territory; it presents it as a fight, a race, a warfare and a watch. The tragedy is that many men begin with fire in their bones, a Bible in their hand, and a burden in their heart, only to quit somewhere along the way when the wounds, disappointments, temptations and weariness begin to pile up. Some are taken out by sin, some by bitterness, some by pride, some by the love of this present world, and some simply grow tired of standing alone. But Paul’s testimony at the end of his life was not that he had enjoyed an easy road, but that he had stayed in the battle: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” That is the cry of the faithful soldier, it is yours today, Christian?
“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:3,4 (KJB)
The question “Who will be the last man standing?” is a searching question for every saved believer here in the closing hours of the Church Age. Will you still be faithful when others walk away? Will you still preach the Book when compromise is easier? Will you still get back up when you fall? Will you still be watching, working and waiting when the Lord Jesus Christ comes for His church? The last man standing will not be the strongest man, the loudest man, or the most gifted man; he will be the faithful man, held up by the Lord, anchored in the Book, washed in the blood, and looking for that blessed hope. The Bible says, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” In a day when so many are quitting by inches, cooling off by degrees, and trading conviction for comfort, may God help us to stay in the fight, rise when we fall, and be found standing at our post when the trumpet sounds!! On this Sunday Service, we ask who will be the last man standing? TO THE FIGHT!!!
The Bible Believers Sunday Service: The Last Man Standing
The Last Man Standing
The Christian life is not merely about starting well, but finishing well. Many men begin the fight, but the Bible places great emphasis on remaining faithful, standing fast, getting back up after failure, and being ready when the Lord Jesus Christ comes for His church. Today we are going to see how ready you are.
We Are In A Fight
Main Text
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12 (KJB)
Truth
The Christian life is called a fight because there is real opposition. The believer fights the world, the flesh, and the Devil. This is not a playground; it is a battlefield. A man who expects the Christian life to be easy will become discouraged when the pressure comes. And the pressure will come, guaranteed.
Paul does not tell Timothy to admire the fight, study the fight, discuss the fight, or explain the fight. He tells him to fight.
Application
Every saved believer must decide whether they are going to be a spectator or a soldier. The last man standing will not be the man who avoided conflict, but the man who stayed faithful in the conflict. The question is not, “Will I be attacked?” The question is, “Will I still be standing when the attack is over?”
Supporting Verses
“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” 2 Timothy 2:3,4 (KJB)
The Enemy Wants You Out Of The Fight
Main Text
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8 (KJB)
Truth
The Devil does not have to destroy a man physically if he can destroy him spiritually. He works through discouragement, bitterness, pride, lust, fear, compromise, weariness, and offense. Many good men do not quit in one dramatic moment. They drift, cool off, get wounded, become isolated, and slowly lay down their sword.
The enemy knows that a faithful man is dangerous. A man who keeps preaching, keeps praying, keeps witnessing, keeps giving, keeps studying, and keeps standing is a threat to the Devil’s work.
Application
Do not underestimate the attacks that come after years of service. Sometimes the hardest battles are not at the beginning, but after you have been wounded, disappointed, and tired. That is when the Devil whispers, “You have done enough. Let someone else fight now.”
Supporting Verses
“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11 (KJB)
“Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?” Galatians 5:7 (KJB)
III. Good Men Can Fall In The Fight
Main Text
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” Proverbs 24:16 (KJB)
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” Galatians 6:1 (KJB)
Truth
The Bible does not hide the failures of good men. David fell. Peter fell. John Mark faltered. Elijah became discouraged. Moses lost his temper. The difference between a just man and a wicked man is not that the just man never falls. The difference is that the just man gets back up.
Falling is serious, but staying down is deadly. A fall should not become a final testimony.
Application
When a man falls, the Devil says, “You are finished.” The world says, “You’re a hypocrite.” The flesh says, “Might as well quit, no use trying anymore.” But God says, “Get up.”
The last man standing is not necessarily the man who never got knocked down. He is the man who refused to quit after being knocked down.
Supporting Verses
“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.” Micah 7:8 (KJB)
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” Psalm 37:23 (KJB)
“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.” Psalm 37:24 (KJB)
IV. The Danger Is Quitting By Inches
Main Text
“Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.” 2 Timothy 4:10 (KJB)
Truth
Demas is one of the saddest examples in Paul’s ministry. He was once named among Paul’s fellow labourers, but later he forsook Paul because he loved this present world. Many men do not quit because they suddenly hate God. They quit because they begin loving something else more. The world becomes more attractive. The burden becomes too heavy. The cost becomes too high. The reward seems too far away.
Application
A man must guard his affections. What you love will eventually pull you. If you love this present world, sooner or later you will leave the fight. The battle is often lost in the heart before it is seen in the life.
Supporting Verses
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:15-17 (KJB)
V. Faithfulness Is Required
Main Text
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJB)
Truth
God does not require a man to be famous, popular, impressive, rich, applauded, or accepted by the crowd. He requires him to be faithful. Faithfulness is continuing to do right when nobody claps, nobody notices, and nobody seems to care. The last man standing will be the faithful man. He may not be the most talented. He may not have the largest platform. He may not be the most praised. But he will still be at his post.
Application
Ask yourself: Am I faithful when I am encouraged? Am I faithful when I am discouraged? Am I faithful when people appreciate me? Am I faithful when people misunderstand me? Am I faithful when I am wounded? The true test of a servant is not what he does when the wind is at his back, but what he does when the storm is in his face.
Supporting Verses
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:21 (KJB)
“Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.” 1 Corinthians 4:1 (KJB)
The Faithful Man Keeps His Eyes On The Finish Line
Main Text
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJB)
Truth
Paul did not merely start. He finished. He did not merely fight for a season. He fought a good fight. He did not trade the faith for comfort, popularity, or safety. He kept the faith. The Christian life is a course. Every man has a race to run, a ministry to fulfill, a testimony to keep, and a judgment seat to face.
Application
Do not measure your life by who quits around you. Measure your life by whether you are still following the Lord Jesus Christ. Others may leave. Others may compromise. Others may grow cold. But you must determine, by the grace of God, to finish your course.
Supporting Verses
“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:6-8 (KJB)
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,” Philippians 3:13 (KJB)
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14 (KJB)
VII. The Last Man Standing Is Watching For The Lord
Main Text
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13 (KJB)
Truth
The faithful believer is not merely standing for a cause; he is waiting for a Person. The blessed hope of the born again believer is the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ at the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. The entirety of the Christian life is your preparation to meet Him face to face, either by death or through the Rapture, and to stand before Him with your course completed.
That is why the question matters: “Will I remain faithful, ready and standing when the Lord comes for me?” This is not about proving ourselves stronger than other men. It is about being found faithful when our Saviour calls us home.
Application
The Rapture should purify us, steady us, strengthen us, and keep us in the fight. The Lord could come today. He could come before the next sermon, the next podcast, the next article, the next sunrise. Will He find us watching? Will He find us working? Will He find us standing?
Supporting Verses
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJB)
“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” 1 John 3:2 (KJB)
“And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.” 1 John 2:28 (KJB)
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 (KJB)
Closin g Challenge: Will You Be Found Standing?
The question is not merely, “Who started?” Many started. Many preached. Many served. Many gave. Many once stood boldly. But the question that weighs heavy on the heart of a Bible believer is this: Who will still be standing at the end?
- Will I be faithful when others quit?
- Will I get back up when I fall?
- Will I keep fighting when I am tired?
- Will I keep preaching when I am mocked?
- Will I keep serving when I am wounded?
- Will I still be watching when the Lord comes?
The last man standing will not be standing because he was strong in himself. He will be standing because the Lord held him up.
Final Verses
“I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8 (KJB)
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,” Jude 1:24 (KJB)
“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;” Ephesians 6:14 (KJB)
Final Charge:
Stay in the Book. Stay under the blood. Stay in the fight. If you fall, get back up. If you are wounded, keep going. If others quit, keep standing. The trumpet is closer than it has ever been, and the Lord is looking for faithful men who will still be at their post when He comes. Remember that there are people watching you in the fighting who are struggling, who are thinking of quitting, and what you do will absolutely affect them.
“Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.” John 21:3 (KJB)
The Fellowship Of The Unashamed.
Dr. Robert Morehead Overlake Christian Church in Kirkland, Washington tells the story a young man from Rwanda who was forced by his tribe in 1980 to renounce Christ or face death. He refused to renounce Christ, and he was murdered on the spot. The night before, he had written the following commitment which was found in his room. This is what this unnamed saint wrote:
I am part of the fellowship of the unashamed.
I have Holy Spirit power.
The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of His. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still.
My past is redeemed. My present makes sense. My future is secure. I’m finished with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, worldly talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don’t have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, am uplifted by prayer and labor by power.
My pace is set. My gait is fast. My goal is heaven. My road is narrow. My way rough. My companions few. My guide is reliable and my mission is clear.
I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed.
I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, pander at the pool of popularity or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won’t give up, shut up, let up, until I’ve stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and preached up for the cause of Christ.
I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give ’til I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops me. And when He comes for His own, He’ll have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear!

THE BIBLE BELIEVERS SUNDAY SERVICE: A Willing Heart, Burdened And Surrendered
On this Sunday Service, God is looking for believers with a willing heart, burdened and surrendered, that will pick up their cross daily and follow Him
The Lord is not looking for cold religion, empty profession, or outward performance from people whose hearts are far from Him. He is looking for a believer with a willing heart, a heart that says, “Lord, here am I, use me.” In Exodus 35, the Tabernacle was not built by pressure tactics or forced giving, but by men and women whose hearts were stirred and made willing before the LORD. That is still the pattern today. The believer who has been saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ ought to have a heart that is ready to serve, ready to give, ready to labour, ready to pray, ready to witness, and ready to stand in the gap while there is still time. A willing heart does not wait to be begged, bribed, or entertained into obedience. It hears the voice of God through the word of God and responds, “What wilt thou have me to do?”
“Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,” Exodus 35:5 (KJB)
But a willing heart must become a burdened heart and a surrendered heart, or it will never go the distance. A burdened heart looks at the lost and sees souls on their way to Hell without the gospel, and it refuses to be comfortable while sinners perish. A surrendered heart looks inward and says, “Lord, deal with my sin, my pride, my flesh, my worldliness, and anything that keeps me from being meet for the Master’s use.” This is where real Bible Christianity lives — not in slogans, not in sentiment, not in Sunday-morning religion, but in a heart yielded to God, burdened for souls, and willing to fight against the world, the flesh, and the Devil until the Lord gives the victory. The harvest is still white, the gospel is still powerful, the King James Bible is still the preserved word of God, and Jesus Christ is still saving sinners. What God is looking for now is a vessel with a willing heart to serve, a burdened heart to seek the lost, and a surrendered heart to yield completely to Him. This is my message on today’s Sunday Service.
SUNDAY SERVICE STUDY NOTES: A Willing Heart, Burdened And Surrendered
A Willing Heart, Burdened And Surrendered
I. A Willing Heart Says, “Lord, I Am Ready To Serve”
“Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,” Exodus 35:5 (KJB)
Before the gold, silver, and brass ever showed up, there first had to be a people whose hearts were willing before the LORD. The tabernacle was not built by force, pressure, guilt, or manipulation. It was built by people who had a heart to give, a heart to serve, and a heart to be part of what God was doing. How’s your heart today?
“Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.” Exodus 36:1 (KJB)
“And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.” Exodus 35:21 (KJB)
Bible passages talking about The Tabernacle:
This is one of the largest themes in the Bible, so it must be very important to God. God wanted willing hearts to do this work, not robots.
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8 (KJB)
- Exodus 25–31, 35–40 — 13 chapters
- Leviticus 1–10, 16 — 11 chapters
- Numbers 1–4, 7–10 — 8 chapters
- Joshua 18 — 1 chapter
- 1 Samuel 1–4 — 4 chapters
- 1 Kings 8 / 2 Chronicles 5 — 2 chapters
- Hebrews 8–10 — 3 chapters
Application
The believer with a willing heart does not have to be begged to serve the Lord. He does not have to be chased down, guilted into obedience, or constantly stirred up by emotional appeals. When the heart is right, the feet move, the hands labor, the mouth speaks, and the wallet opens.
A willing heart says, “Lord, I am available. Use my time, use my talent, use my testimony, use my treasure, and use whatever is left of my life for Thy glory.”
Key Point
A willing heart is the difference between religious duty and spiritual desire for intimacy with God. God is not a Calvinist, he will not force you to serve Him, even after He saves you. But you’ll spend a long time needlessly fighting the conviction He will give you if you aren’t willing.
II. A Burdened Heart Says, “Lord, I Want To See The Lost Saved”
A willing heart serves, but a burdened heart weeps. A burdened heart looks at a lost and dying world and sees what God sees: souls without Christ, sinners without hope, and men and women headed for Hell unless someone brings them the gospel. (Bibles Behind Bars!)
Paul had doctrine, but he also had tears. He was not some cold theologian stacking up truth with no compassion. He had a burning burden for his own people to be saved. If you’ve been called to the ministry but don’t have a burden like this, you should make sure you’ve actually been called of God. Without such a burden, ministry is an exhausting and grueling slog. With a God-sent burden, it’s the most exciting work on the planet.
“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.” Romans 10:1 (KJB)
“I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.” Romans 9:1-2 (KJB)
The Lord Jesus Christ Himself looked on the multitudes with compassion.
“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.” Matthew 9:36 (KJB)
Application
The believer needs more than correct doctrine and a King James Bible; he needs a broken heart. He needs to see the lost not as arguments to win, but as souls to reach. A burdened heart prays, witnesses, gives, supports missions, sends Bibles, preaches the gospel, and refuses to become comfortable while sinners perish. Someone asked me one time why do you go street preaching? The answer is astonishingly simple: because Hell is real and people go there. No other reason than that to street preach, wins souls and do personal work.
A burdened heart says, “Lord, break my heart for what breaks Yours. Let me care about souls more than comfort, more than convenience, more than reputation, and more than self.”
Key Point
A burdened heart turns Bible truth into gospel action.
III. A Surrendered Heart Says, “Lord, I Am Willing To Lay It Down”
God likes to do things in threes:
- Jesus is the way, the truth and the life
- The Christian fights against the world, the flesh and the Devil
- Peter denied the Lord 3 times
- Jesus is a Prophet, Priest and King
- The Tabernacle was divided into the outer court, the Holy Place and the most Holy Place
- Jonan was 3 days and 3 nights in the whale’s belly
- Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again (Paul’s gospel)
- The Godhead exists in 3 parts 1 John 5:7
- Man is a tripartite being (body, soul and spirit)
A willing heart serves the Lord, and a burdened heart seeks the lost, but a surrendered heart takes God’s side against sin. It is one thing to say, “Lord, use me,” and another thing to say, “Lord, cleanse me.” The believer cannot serve the Lord rightly while making peace with the world, the flesh, and the Devil. D.L. Moody said “There is one more thing to consider. I have to overcome the world, or the world is going to overcome me. I have to conquer sin in me and get it under my feet, or it is going to conquer me.” That’s good, practical preaching you can live by.
“Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” Romans 6:13 (KJB)
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 (KJB)
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1 (KJB)
Application
The surrendered heart is not sinless perfection, but honest submission. It is the believer coming before God and saying, “Lord, deal with my pride, my bitterness, my temper, my lust, my worldliness, my laziness, my fear, my rebellion, and anything else that keeps me from walking with You.”
“Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.” Romans 7:13 (KJB)
This is where real victory begins. Not with pretending there is no battle, but by yielding to God and refusing to yield to sin.
Key Point
A surrendered heart does not negotiate with sin; it yields to God until the victory comes. At AA meetings they say you must conduct a “fearless and searching moral inventory” if you want to stay sober, and the same thing can be said of the believer who wants to be clean before God. Keep short accounts with the Lord.
IV. These Three Hearts Work Together
Truth
These are not three separate Christian lives. They are three parts of the same surrendered believer.
A willing heart says, “Lord, I will serve.”
A burdened heart says, “Lord, I will witness.”
A surrendered heart says, “Lord, I will obey.”
When these three are present, God has a vessel He can use.
“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21 (KJB)
Application
Many believers want to be used, but they don’t want to be purged. Many want fruit, but they do not want surrender. Many want blessing, but they do not want separation. But the vessel fit for the Master’s use is the believer who is willing, burdened, and surrendered.
God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for yielded people.
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:1-5 (KJB)
Closing Challenge
The question is not whether the Lord has work to be done. The harvest is still ready, the gospel is still powerful, the Bible is still true, Hell is still hot, the Lord Jesus Christ is still saving sinners, and the trumpet is still about to sound.
The question is: what kind of heart do you have?
Do you have a willing heart to serve?
Do you have a burdened heart for the lost?
Do you have a surrendered heart to forsake sin and fight the good fight?
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8 (KJB)
That is the heart God can use in these last days: not a forced heart, not a cold heart, not a divided heart, but a willing heart, a burdened heart, and a surrendered heart before the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last Days before the Rapture of the Church
- HOW TO DONATE: Click here to view our WayGiver Funding page
When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORT…TO THE FIGHT!!!
