The ninth of Av, Tisha Be’Av, the date on which Jews mourn the destruction of the two Temples in Jerusalem following its destruction by the Romans, and now foxes have been spotted walking near the Western Wall
The word ‘foxes’ appears exactly 8 times in the Bible, 6 times in the Old Testament and twice in the New Testament. None of the places where the word appears has any discernible connection to any known Bible prophecy regarding the rebuilt Jewish Temple in the end times. When you read a little deeper, you find that they are not quoting the Bible for their proof text, but the Talmud which is not the Bible, not scripture and not the word of God.
“For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim. Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it. Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.” Lamentations 5:17-19 (KJV)
But as long as we are talking about the coming Third Jewish Temple, let me remind you of a few things. Yes, the Bible clearly says that before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ at the Battle of Armageddon, there will be a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem, the Bible guarantees it. Jesus referenced the end times Temple in Matthew 24 where He gives warning to the Tribulation Saints that will be on earth after the Rapture of the Church.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” Matthew 24:14,15 (KJV)
In a deal that will be negotiated by Antichrist, the Bible shows us that the Jews are able to rebuild the Temple, thinking that Messiah has come. Except this messiah is the Devil in the form of Antichrist, and they follow him. The entire 24th chapter of Matthew is a warning from Jesus to primarily the Jews in Israel in the time of Jacob’s trouble, and Jesus confirms all this by pointing the reader to the book of Daniel where we read this.
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:27 (KJV)
For the born again believer, what should excite is when we hear stories about the coming rebuilt Jewish Temple is the fact that means we will soon and very soon be removed from off the earth and into the cloud with Jesus in an event known as the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 (KJV)
But for the non-believer, Jew and gentile alike, the rebuilt Jewish Temple means the coming of Antichrist, and a time of horror the likes of which this world has never seen. And if you missed the Rapture, God will hit you with a delusion so strong you cannot help but believe it. So why don’t you get saved right now and miss all that junk?
Foxes Seen Walking Near Western Wall, Sparking Talk Of Bible Prophecy
FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: As the Jewish world is counting the days to the ninth of Av, Tisha Be’Av, the date on which Jews mourn the destruction of the two Temples in Jerusalem following its destruction by the Romans, foxes have been spotted walking near the Western Wall, a press release reported on Thursday.
It is written in the Book of Lamentations 5:18, which is read on Tisha Be’Av, that Mount Zion – where the Temples stood – will be so desolate that “foxes will walk upon it.”
The understanding, according to the Talmud in the tractate Makkot (24b), is that if the prophecies of destruction have been fulfilled, so will be the ones by the prophet Zechariah about the Temple being rebuilt.
Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, referred to photos of the foxes and commented, “One cannot refrain from crying at the site of the fulfillment of the prophecy of ‘foxes will walk on it.’” READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 12,832 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,000 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
