Saudi Arabia And Iran On The Brink Of War After Rebel Missile Attack From Yemen Hit Targets In Riyadh

Saudi Arabia and Iran traded fierce accusations over Yemen on Monday, with Riyadh saying a rebel missile attack “may amount to an act of war” and Tehran accusing its rival of war crimes.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The tensions between the Saudi kingdom and the terror-state of Iran have gotten to the brink very quickly. Iranian-backed rebels in Yemen fired a SCUD missile well in the Saudi airspace and hit near their airport in Riyadh. What has the Saudi’s so upset is that this is the farthest-traveling missile they have ever fired, and the Saudis know they need to send a message. Because if they don’t, the next missile could very well be nuclear.

Tensions have been rising between Sunni-ruled Saudi Arabia and predominantly Shiite Iran, which are opposed in disputes and conflicts across the Middle East from Yemen and Syria to Qatar and Lebanon.

On Monday, a Saudi-led military coalition battling Tehran-backed rebels in Yemen said it reserved the “right to respond” to the missile attack on Riyadh at the weekend, calling it a “blatant military aggression by the Iranian regime which may amount to an act of war”. Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir also warned Tehran.

“Iranian interventions in the region are detrimental to the security of neighbouring countries and affect international peace and security. We will not allow any infringement on our national security,” Jubeir tweeted.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif issued dismissive tweets over the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in response.

Saudi Arabia blames Iran for missile attack:

“KSA bombs Yemen to smithereens, killing 1000s of innocents including babies, spreads cholera and famine, but of course blames Iran,” he wrote. “KSA is engaged in wars of aggression, regional bullying, destabilising behaviour & risky provocations. It blames Iran for the consequences.”

Saudi forces on Saturday intercepted and destroyed the ballistic missile near Riyadh’s international airport after it was reportedly fired by Shiite Huthi rebels from Yemen. It was the first attempted missile strike by the rebels to reach Riyadh and threaten air traffic, underscoring the growing threat posed by the conflict on Saudi Arabia’s southern border.

The coalition on Monday sealed off air, sea and land borders in Yemen, where it has been battling rebels in support of President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi’s internationally recognised government since 2015.

An Iranian foreign ministry statement quoted spokesman Bahram Ghassemi as saying the accusations by the coalition were “unjust, irresponsible, destructive and provocative”. Ghassemi said the missile was fired by the Huthis in response “to war crimes and several years of aggression by the Saudis”.

The missile attack, he said, was “an independent action in response to this aggression,” and Iran had nothing to do with it.

Critics have accused the coalition of not doing enough to prevent civilian deaths in its air war in Yemen, where more than 8,650 people have been killed since the intervention began.

Repeated attempts to bring about a negotiated settlement to the conflict have failed, including a series of UN-backed peace talks. Saudi Arabia has blamed the Huthis for the failed efforts, and on Monday offered rewards totalling $440 million for information on 40 senior officials among the rebels.

Topping the list, with a $30-million reward for tips leading to his capture, was the group’s leader Abdulmalik al-Huthi. The Huthis, allied with Yemen’s ex-president Ali Abdullah Saleh in the conflict, have captured the capital Sanaa, forcing Hadi’s government to operate from the southern city of Aden.

Analysts said it was unclear how far Saudi Arabia would be willing to go in the escalating confrontation.

The kingdom is in the midst of an unprecedented purge of its upper ranks, with dozens of senior figures arrested at the weekend, as 32-year-old Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman consolidates his hold on power.

Prince Mohammed, who is also defence minister, is seen as a key supporter of the intervention in Yemen.

Analyst Randa Slim of the Middle East Institute said it was unclear whether the Saudi leadership had “thought through an escalation of the scale they’re hinting at”. Compounding concerns of an escalation, she said, is that US President Donald Trump’s administration has also taken a hard line against Iran “and may not send a deterrent message to Saudi”.

The Saudi-Iran rivalry also played out this weekend in the resignation of Lebanon’s prime minister Saad Hariri, a protege of Riyadh who said he was stepping down because of the “grip” of Iran and its ally Hezbollah on the country.

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah hit back on Sunday, saying Hariri’s resignation had been “imposed” by Saudi Arabia.

Iran rejected Hariri’s words as “baseless” and said his resignation was “designed to create tensions in Lebanon and in the region”. Hariri, who announced his resignation in Riyadh, on Monday met Saudi King Salman and “reviewed the situation in Lebanon”, the state-run Saudi Press Agency reported. source

At The Moment When The Church Of England Turns God Into A Gender Neutral Non-Binary Entity, They Will Be Worshipping Antichrist, And That’s Fact

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

The gender of God has prompted debate within the Church of England, with many calling for male pronouns He and Him, as well as reference to Our Father, to be scrapped in favour of either gender neutral or female alternatives.

For starters, the Church of England is a hot bipolar mess with one side embracing Roman Catholicism, the other nominally Protestant, producing nothing but Laodicean hogwash constantly in conflict with itself. Ironically, the Church of England was the birthplace of the King James Bible back in 1611, having survived the Gunpowder Plot in 1605. What’s on the menu in 2023? Not much, just a raging debate to turn the God of the Bible into a gender neutral, non-binary thing you might just as well refer to as Antichrist from here on in.

“This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.” Genesis 5:1,2 (KJB)

If God becomes gender neutral, then He becomes an ‘it’, and in doing so He is no longer the God of the Bible but something else entirely. Maybe that’s what the Church of England is after, kicking God off of His throne and replacing Him with a genderless, meaningless and powerless ‘thing’ much like a transgender. Of course, the entire LGBTQ+ Movement is all about dethroning God, getting rid of His laws and His judgments, and bringing him down to non-binary status. Coincidentally, this is also the platform for the One World Religion of Chrislam. Whatever happens, you can now stick a fork into the Church of England, it’s finished and fit for the ash heap of Church history. Here’s a ‘fun fact’ about God, no neutrality is recognized. You are either saved and headed for Heaven, or lost and going to Hell, there is no third option, there is no Purgatory. God made man, that’s one, and from man He made a woman, that’s two and that’s all He wrote. God made two genders, all the others come from Satan. If you have a genderless God, that’s the Devil.

Gender-neutral God to be considered by Church of England

FROM MSN: Now, in what would mark a departure from centuries of tradition, bishops are to launch a project “on gendered language” referencing God in church services later this year. The move has been criticised by conservatives, who have warned that “male and female imagery is not interchangeable”. However, liberal Christians have  welcomed it, claiming that “a theological misreading of God as exclusively male is a driver of much continuing discrimination and sexism against women”.

Details of the plans emerged in a written question to the Liturgical Commission, which prepares and promotes forms of service and religious worship in the Church, at General Synod, the Church’s lawmaking body, which is sitting this week.

Any permanent changes or rewriting of scriptures with gendered language would have to be agreed by a future meeting of Synod.

The Rev Joanna Stobart, from the Diocese of Bath and Wells, asked what steps were being taken to offer congregants alternatives to referring to God with male pronouns and if there was any update “to develop more inclusive language in our authorised liturgy”.

She also asked bishops “to provide more options for those who wish to use authorised liturgy and speak of God in a non-gendered way, particularly in authorised absolutions where many of the prayers offered for use refer to God using male pronouns”.

In response, the Bishop of Lichfield, the Rt Rev Michael Ipgrave, replying as vice-chairman of the Liturgical Commission, said: “We have been exploring the use of gendered language in relation to God for several years, in collaboration with the Faith and Order Commission.

“After some dialogue between the two commissions in this area, a new joint project on gendered language will begin this spring.”

The precise details of the project remain unknown, with Dr Ipgrave declining to comment further. Prof Helen King, the vice-chairman of the Synod’s gender and sexuality group, said: “Questions around gendered language and God have been around for decades, if not centuries, but still have the power to bring out strong reactions.

“For some, God as father is helpful because of their own positive experiences of a loving parent. For others, God as father may reinforce a bad experience of a strict disciplinarian as their father. If we dig deeper, clearly God is not gendered, so why do we restrict our language for God in gendered ways?”

A spokesman for Women and the Church, a national campaign group for gender equality in the Church of England, also welcomed the move “to look at the development of more inclusive language in our authorised liturgy”. READ MORE

Sarah Jones – the first person to have made a gender change and then be ordained in the Church of England – was ‘outed’ to a national newspaper in 2005 but was (mostly) supported by her peers and parish. Based in Cardiff city centre, Sarah is a keen speaker on matters involving inclusion, and she fiercely maintains that Christianity is much queerer than we think. Gay-men to that.

Witnesses To The Massive 7.8 Earthquake In Turkey Remarked That ‘It Was Like The Apocalypse’ As Death Toll Now Passes 3,700 Souls And Rising

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

A huge earthquake in Turkey and Syria registering 7.8 on the Richter Scale has already killed 3,700 souls, injuring countless thousands more, was like ‘watching the apocalypse’.

This week is off to a gangbusters start from a prophecy perspective, with a once in a generation earthquake rocking Turkey and Syria, open worship of Satan at the Grammys sponsored by Pfizer, as well as minor earthquakes in New York and Georgia. Russia is preparing to unleash a 500,000 soldier contingent on Ukraine, and Chinese spy balloons fly over America with impunity. Things get much hotter and it might be time for a little ’23 skidoo’, and wouldn’t that be great? In the meantime, here we are at the beginning of sorrows.

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:6-8 (KJB)

One of the missionaries on our prayer list is LuAnn from Sarasota who ministers to the Muslims in Turkey. She reported this morning that “Yes thank God I’m all right.  I’m living in Istanbul and this horrendous earthquake happened in the southeast of Turkey a few hours away from me. But it is turning into quite a disaster for the nation.  Thank you for your prayers and your concern. We have been told to restock our “earthquake bag” in case we too become affected. We just learned Pastor Hakan and his wife in Anitoch went to be with the Lord , leaving behind a young son. We have so few Turkish Pastors. Tragic” Please continue to pray for LuAnn and her efforts in Turkey, that the Lord would continue to keep her safe and give her and her team much fruit for His Kingdom. And pray for the untold tens of thousands of souls devastated by this earthquake.

Major earthquake kills 3,700 in Turkey and Syria, weather hits survivors

FROM YAHOO NEWS: A huge earthquake killed more than 3,700 people across a swathe of Turkey and northwest Syria on Monday, with freezing winter weather adding to the plight of the thousands left injured or homeless and hampering efforts to find survivors.

The magnitude 7.8 quake brought down whole apartment blocks in Turkish cities and piled more devastation on millions of Syrians displaced by years of war. It struck before sunrise in harsh weather and was followed in the early afternoon by another large quake.

In Diyarbakir in southeast Turkey, a woman speaking next to the wreckage of the seven-storey block where she lived said: “We were shaken like a cradle. There were nine of us at home. Two sons of mine are still in the rubble, I’m waiting for them.” She was nursing a broken arm and had injuries to her face.

“It was like the apocalypse,” said Abdul Salam al-Mahmoud, a Syrian in the northern town of Atareb. “It’s bitterly cold and there’s heavy rain, and people need saving.”

The earthquake was the biggest recorded worldwide by the U.S. Geological Survey since a tremor in the remote South Atlantic in August 2021.

In Turkey, the death toll stood at 2,316, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said, making it the country’s deadliest earthquake since a tremor of similar magnitude in 1999 devastated the heavily populated eastern Marmara Sea region near Istanbul, killing more than 17,000. A 7.8 magnitude earthquake killed over 2,300 people in Turkey and Syria early Monday morning. The ‘apocalypse’ quake occurred early in the morning when most people were sleeping or indoors.
