The late Polish pope John Paul II knew about child sexual abuse in Poland’s Catholic church years before becoming pontiff and helped cover it up, a new report has claimed.

Did you know that Pope John Paul II is now Saint John Paul II, and has a massive idol dedicated to himself at the National Shrine in Washington, DC? Did you further know that then-president Donald Trump and his wife Melania paid a worshipful visit there in 2020 to lay down a wreath and pray, presumably to Saint Johnny, while kneeling at the altar? What’s that you say, ‘make America great again’, you say? You better start tearing down the idols first. Especially if your idol covered up heinous crimes of child sexual abuse by his Roman Catholic priests.

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Had a great talk with my buddy Craig the other day, about how it looks like that ‘MYSTERY BABYLON’ might encompass more than just the Roman Catholic Church and the Vatican. What with the current pope Francis creating the One World Religion of Chrislam and all. I pray for the souls trapped in this system, as I once was, but I pray in agreement with Revelation 18 that the system itself will be set on fire and burnt to the ground, which it will at the end of the Great Tribulation. In the meantime, here is yet another story about popes covering up child sexual abuse at the hands of Roman Catholic priests. Is Saint John Paul II your idol?

Pope John Paul II ‘covered up child sexual abuse while a cardinal in Poland and transferred paedophile priests to avoid a scandal’

FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: Michal Gutowski, the investigator behind the report for private broadcaster TVN, said that Karol Wojtyla, as he then was, knew of cases of paedophile priests within the church while still a cardinal in Krakow.

He transferred the priests to other dioceses – one as far away as Austria – to ensure no scandal ensued, the investigator said.

Wojtyla, who was pope for 27 years from 1978 until his death in 2005, wrote a letter of recommendation for a priest accused of abuse to Vienna cardinal Franz Koenig, without mentioning the accusations, says Gutowski.

During his investigation, Gutowski says he spoke to victims of paedophile priests, their families and former church diocese employees. He cites documents from the former Communist-era SB secret police and rare church documents to which he managed to get access. But Gutowski said the Krakow diocese had refused him access to its own documentary archives for his investigation. The Polish church has in the past refused to provide documents to the judiciary or a public commission of enquiry investigating cases of church abuse of minors.

One of Gutowski’s sources said on condition of anonymity that he had personally told Wojtyla about acts of paedophilia concerning one priest in 1973.

‘Wojtyla first wanted to make sure it wasn’t a bluff,’ the source said. ‘He asked it not be reported anywhere – he said he would deal with it.’

The then-cardinal had explicitly requested the alleged affair be kept strictly under wraps, the source is said to have told Gutowski.

Thomas Doyle, an American former Catholic priest, canon law scholar, and the author of one of the first reports of Catholic clergy abuse in the United States, said Gutowski’s investigation was groundbreaking. It showed that John Paul II knew this problem existed even before he became pope, he argued. The broadcast of the investigation in traditionally Catholic Poland comes soon after a Polish-based Dutch journalist, Ekke Overbeek, made similar accusations. Overbeek’s book, Maxima Culpa, is due to go on sale in Poland this week.

Over the past two years, and amid several reports of abuse of minors in the Polish church, the Vatican has sanctioned several high-ranking church officials for having covered up paedophilia by members of the clergy.

As the time of his election, John Paul II was the first non-Italian pope since the 16th century, and the longest-serving pope in modern history after Pope Pius IX in the 1800s. He has been credited with being instrumental in bringing down Communism in Central and Eastern Europe, and even survived three assassination attempts – one of which saw him shot and another saw him narrowly avoid being stabbed. He made public apologies to many groups that had suffered at the hands of the Catholic Church over the centuries. READ MORE

BLOODBATH: Shakeup At Department Of Homeland Security As Trump Pivots To Show Sympathetic Response On Murder Of Alex Pretti In Minneapolis

President Trump is backpedaling furiously to stop the bleeding over at the Department of Homeland Security after recent Minneapolis street killings

The Trump administration is scrambling in the aftermath of the Minneapolis killing of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse, shot by Border Patrol agents during what’s being described as part of Operation Metro Surge. As more video and witness reporting comes out, it has undercut key elements of the early federal narrative, and now the White House is trying to tamp down the fire with personnel moves and softer rhetoric. Trump is in the hot seat, rightly so, and he knows it.

“Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.” Isaiah 1:10 (KJB)

So we get the headlines: Border czar Tom Homan dispatched, Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino reassigned, and even reports of DHS restricting Bovino’s social media access—all the usual “optics management” that Washington does when a story won’t die. But here’s the problem: you can’t PR your way out of a moral collapse. The Trump administration is filled with cosplay poseurs like Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, Dan Bongino (who has failed out), and Kristi Noem who should be removed as quickly as possible. These are drastically unqualified people who are building incompetent departments stocked with poorly-trained people. Properly-trained officers would never have shot and killed those two people.

As I have said many times over the years, I think both ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter are domestic terror organizations, and if that makes you mad, too bad. But as an American who stands on the rule of law, shooting protesters dead in the streets is a bad look, a really bad look, and that has to stop. God forbid we ever normalize that type of behavior as a means of conflict resolution, for if we do, we are done as a nation. Third world countries execute their protestors in the streets, not us.

So Trump realizing that with multiple corpses on his hands, he needs to turn this thing around as quickly as possible. Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino was demoted and is leaving Minnesota. Tom Homan is taking over, reporting directly to Trump. Kristi Noem spent two hours in the Oval Office; her job status is unclear. Trump called Governor Tim Walz and said they’re on “the same wavelength.” A partial government shutdown looms Friday with reports saying that House Republicans can’t pass another DHS funding bill. Trump would do well to go watch the Reagan movie from last year, and learn a little something about how the office of the president should be conducted. I really miss Reagan.
