In a decision that drastically shakes up Israeli politics amid already ongoing chaos, Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit announced Thursday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be charged with criminal wrongdoing in three separate cases against him, including bribery in the far-reaching Bezeq corruption probe.
Whether or not Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is guilty or innocent of the things he is now being charged with, I have no idea. But I do know this, we are living in the end times and Israel and Jerusalem are still the places around which the timeclock of Bible prophecy revolves. And Benjamin Netanyahu is absolutely guilty of daring to proclaim that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of Israel and that the Two-State Solution will never happen. Whatever happens in the courtroom, these are Netanyahu’s real crimes.
“I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please. The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.” Song of Solomon 2:7,8,10 (KJV)
Whatever it is that God placed Benjamin Netanyahu in power to do now looks like it has come to an end, as the greatest leader of modern-day Israel is being forced off the scene. I cannot help but think of the same thing, just a different process, that is happening here in America to our president Donald Trump. Has Trump accomplished all that God placed him in power to do? Perhaps so. But I see how intricately linked that Netanyahu and Trump are together, and it is not a coincidence that both men are under attack and being driven out at the same time. Almost makes you wonder if perhaps something big is coming in 2020. I think it is.
AG Announces Netanyahu To Stand Trial For Bribery, Fraud And Breach Of Trust
FROM THE TIMES OF ISRAEL: The decision marks the first time in Israel’s history that a serving prime minister faces criminal charges, casting a heavy shadow over Netanyahu and his ongoing attempts to remain in power. Benjamin Netanyahu will be charged with fraud and breach of trust in Cases 1000 and 2000, and bribery, fraud and breach of trust in Case 4000, the state prosecution said in a statement as Mandelblit was set to address the press in his office in the Justice Ministry in Jerusalem at 7:30 p.m. The Justice Ministry also released the full indictment to be filed with the Jerusalem District Court.
“The attorney general’s decision on the prime minister was made after a thorough and deep examination of the numerous allegations raised by the prime minister’s lawyers during the four days of the hearing in early October 2019. All allegations were examined in depth as part of a regular work process deployed over many hours in which the State Attorney’s Office submitted in-depth reviews of hundreds of pages, relating to the allegations raised at the hearing,” the statement said.
In October, prosecutors and the prime minister’s legal team held several days of hearings in which Netanyahu’s attorneys sought to refute the allegations against him.
“After all claims were reviewed, it was found that there were no claims that arose at the hearing to change the offenses attributed to the prime minister… However, some of the claims have led to changes in the indictment, even if not a change in the offense clauses themselves,” the statement added.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party called on party activists to rally outside the prime minister’s Jerusalem residence to express their support for him Thursday night. Netanyahu was set to give a statement to the media on the decision at 8:30 p.m.
According to the indictment, the prime minister “damaged the image of the public service and public trust in it” and is suspected of abusing his position and status, and of knowingly “taking a bribe as a public servant in exchange for actions related to your position.”
The prime minister has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in all three cases, and has alleged that the investigations against him are a “witch hunt” involving the left, the media and the police relentlessly pressuring a “weak” attorney general.
In Case 1000, involving accusations that Benjamin Netanyahu received gifts and benefits from billionaire benefactors including Israeli-born Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan in exchange for favors, Mandelblit said he intended to charge Netanyahu with fraud and breach of trust — the latter being a somewhat murkily defined offense relating to an official violating the trust the public has placed in him. Milchan is not to be charged.
According to the indictment, Benjamin Netanyahu “damaged the image of public service and the public’s trust in it, in that while serving in public positions, and foremost as prime minister, you maintained for years an inappropriate relationship with Milchan and Packer.
“This included receiving benefits connected to your public positions totaling over NIS 700,000 and acting in favor of businessman Milchan while in a severe conflict of interest.
“In your actions you allegedly abused your position and status and significantly and seriously harmed the propriety of the public administration, the integrity of public servants and public trust in public servants,” the charge sheet read. READ MORE
This Is Why The Liberals Need To Take Down Benjamin Netanyahu
The day after the U.S. officially opened its embassy in Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sat down with VICE founder Shane Smith to talk about the violence on the border with Gaza and the new threats he thinks Israel is facing from Iranian forces in Syria. In the interview, Netanyahu praised President Trump’s December move to formally recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 13,131 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,500 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
