Pope Francis Tells Interviewer That Jesus Christ Was Born As ‘Exceptional Man’ But He Was ‘Not At All A God’ As Vatican Doesn’t Deny Or Demand Correction Of Account

In the latest edition of La Repubblica, Pope Francis tells interviewer, Eugenio Scalfari that Jesus of Nazareth was not God while incarnate as a man.

In the latest edition of La Repubblica, Pope Francis’ longtime atheist friend and interviewer, Eugenio Scalfari, claims that the Pope told him that once Jesus Christ became incarnate, he was a man, a “man of exceptional virtues” but “not at all a God.”

Pope Francis told me: ‘They are the proven proof that Jesus of Nazareth, once having become a man, was, though a man of exceptional virtues, not at all a God.'”

The most amazing thing about this story is that neither Pope Francis nor the Vatican had denied the pope made these statements, and neither have they asked La Repubblica to correct the account or retract the statements in full. So that leads me to believe that Pope Francis did indeed make them, and that this shocking accounting is indeed true and accurate. Don’t forget that Eugenio Scalfari and Pope Francis are longtime friends. Scarfari would not misrepresent his dear friend, and the pope feels comfortable enough around him because of that friendship to let his guard down.

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

But Pope Francis has a long and proven track record of denying Jesus Christ, and making statements like it is ‘dangerous to have a personal relationship with Jesus‘. Last year with the same interviewer Scalfari and also in La Repubblica, Pope Francis said that ‘Hell is not real‘ and never denied saying that, either, and the Vatican never asked for a correction or retraction. So maybe we should ask ourselves why Pope Francis is continuing to make these outrageous statements.

“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Isaiah 14:13,14 (KJV)

If you have been following our reporting on the Catholic Church and Chrislam, then you already know why the pope makes these types of statements. Because as he continues to assemble the One World Religion, he thinks of himself as a god, not unlike the passages we read in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 about Lucifer. Now you know, tell a friend.

Eugenio Scalfari: Pope Francis Told Me That Jesus Incarnate Was a ‘Man … Not at All a God’

FROM CNS NEWS: In the latest edition of La Repubblica, Pope Francis’ longtime atheist friend and interviewer, Eugenio Scalfari, claims that the Pope told him that once Jesus Christ became incarnate, he was a man, a “man of exceptional virtues” but “not at all a God.”

The teaching of the Catholic Church and most Christian churches is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was incarnated as fully man and fully God.

As the Catechism of the Catholic Church states, “The unique and altogether singular event of the Incarnation of the Son of God does not mean that Jesus Christ is part God and part man, nor does it imply that he is the result of a confused mixture of the divine and the human. He became truly man while remaining truly God. Jesus Christ is true God and true man. During the first centuries, the Church had to defend and clarify this truth of faith against the heresies that falsified it. (464)”

According to the highly respected Catholic blog, Rorate Caeli, and Radio Spada in Italy, Scalfari states in the Oct. 9 edition of La Repubblica (behind paywall) the following: “Those who, as it has happened many times with me, have had the luck of meeting him and speaking to him with the greatest cultural intimacy, know that Pope Francis conceives Christ as Jesus of Nazareth, man, not God incarnate.”

“Once incarnate, Jesus stops being a God and becomes a man until his death on the cross.”

Scalfari continues, “When I had the chance of discussing these sentences, Pope Francis told me: ‘They are the proven proof that Jesus of Nazareth, once having become a man, was, though a man of exceptional virtues, not at all a God.'”

In a March 2018 interview with Scalfari, Pope Francis reportedly said, “There is no Hell, there is the disappearance of sinful souls.”

ANTICHRIST: POPE FRANCIS TELLS CATHOLICS IN ROME THAT A ‘PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP’ WITH JESUS IS ‘DANGEROUS AND HARMFUL’

That interview caused an uproar and the Vatican claimed that what the Pope reportedly said was a “reconstruction” and not “quoted.” The Vatican did not deny what Scalfari reported but said it could not “be considered as a faithful transcription of the words of the Holy Father.”

The Pope himself never denied what Scalfari reported and the article never ran a correction or removed the article from its website.

Commenting on this latest revelation, Rorate Caeli said, “Now, obviously, as it has often happened with Francis’ informal interviews with Eugenio Scalfari, some will try to deny the veracity of what Scalfari, a seasoned journalist, affirms.

“Let us just recall, for the record of events, that there is no reason to doubt its general accuracy. We are way past the time of doubting the general accuracy of the Scalfari quotes.

“Not now, that the papal interviews to Scalfari have been published on the Vatican website, that they have been occasionally published by the Vatican publishing house (LEV) itself – for instance, as part of the book to the right.”

In a statement issued Oct. 9, reported by Church Militant in Rome,  the Vatican said, “As has been affirmed in other occasions, the words that Dr. Eugenio Scalfari attributes between quotes to the Holy Father during his colloquies held with him cannot be considered as a faithful account of what was effectively said, but represent more a personal and free interpretation of that which he heard, as appears entirely evident from what was written today concerning the divinity of Jesus Christ.”

Church Militant’s Michael Voris commented, “That is the relevant part of the statement, and it, in itself, is now creating its own firestorm because it does not actually deny Scalfari’s characterization, merely hinting at the possibility.”

“Likewise, it does not affirm in any fashion that Pope Francis does indeed hold the divinity of Christ during Our Savior’s earthly ministry,” said Voris. READ MORE

On our Podcast yesterday, we told you that war with Iran would come within 24 hours and that’s exactly what we are watching here in the early morning hours on this Saturday. The goal of this attack is to remove the current leadership of the Ayatollah and restore Iran to their pre-1978 Persian heritage. Iran becoming Persia again? That put’s us squarely back on the end times timeline and Middle East Bible prophecy as we draw closer and closer to the final countdown. Trump said on Truth Social this morning “We are going to destroy their missiles and raze their missile industry to the ground. It will be totally… obliterated. We are going to annihilate their navy,” Let’s see what actually happens.

Israel has named this campaign ‘Operation Lion’s Roar’ which from a prophetic perspective is quite tantalizing. You see, Israel may be far removed from a right relationship with the Lord, and they are, and the Jews may be strangers to the Book, and they are, but you are never going to get away from the Lord’s hand on them in the end times. They will soon come face to face with the actual Lion from the tribe of Judah in the upcoming time of Jacob’s trouble, and in that day they will mourn and wail. In the meantime, pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the salvation of the Jewish people, that many might turn to Jesus of Nazareth in these closing moments of the Church Age.

Trump announces ‘major combat operations’ in Iran

FROM THE AP: The U.S. and Israel launched a major attack on targets across Iran on Saturday. U.S. President Donald Trump urged Iranians to take cover during the strikes, but then: “When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take.” It was an extraordinary appeal that suggested the allies could be seeking to end of the country’s theocracy after decades of tensions.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu echoed that sweeping goal. “Our joint operation will create the conditions for the brave Iranian people to take their fate into their own hands,” Netanyahu said.

In a video posted on social media, Trump claimed Iran has continued to develop its nuclear program and plans to develop missiles to reach the U.S.

The first strikes of the attack appeared to target the compound home to Iran’s 86-year-old Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in downtown Tehran. It wasn’t immediately clear if he was there at the time. Smoke could be seen rising from the Iranian capital.

The attack quickly expanded beyond Iran. Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard said it responded by launching a “first wave” of drones and missiles targeting Israel, where a nationwide warning was issued as the military said it bring down Iranian fire. READ MORE

The Garza West Unit in Beeville Texas is a hotbed of soulwinning and gospel preaching and now they need King James Bibles

The Garza West Unit Transfer Facility is a mixed medium security prison located in Beeville Texas.  The unit can house up to 2,278 male offenders of G1, G3, and transient custody levels.  Co-located with Garza East, Garza West is situated on 304 acres.  Garza West Unit is responsible for the initial intake and processing of offenders from the surrounding region into the Texas Department of Corrections. While incarcerated at Garza West, inmates can receive medical, dental, and mental health services. But what they really need is the gospel and the King James Bible, lots of them, amen?

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” Isaiah 42:7 (KJB)

Chaplain Hall writes to say “We have about 4 different Christian services with volunteers who travel anywhere from 1-2 hrs to either speak in a service or conduct a class in our Faith Based Dorm.  My favorite ministry related activity is teaching in our Faith Based Dorm.  While I am a Baptist Minister and Chaplain I push for real change in the inmate’s lives and tend not to push a sinners prayer or altar calls as I believe they usually produce shallow converts.  I ask for Bibles because we have a constant stream of NEW inmates who come in weekly from county prisons. We do not receive funding from anyone and rely exclusively on donations from outside ministries.” And there it is, chaplains and jail ministers all across America have an urgent need for Bibles, and Bibles Behind Bars stands in the gap to make sure they get them.
