Planned Parenthood is defying an Ohio order to discontinue elective abortions during the coronavirus pandemic, even though its abortion clinics are using up valuable personal protective equipment.
As the nascent outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus continues to wreak havoc on the healthcare system in the United States, Americans are being asked to make sacrifices of their time, their freedoms and personal liberties in order to control the flow of the virus. At the Planned Parenthood abortion mills, however, the only sacrifices happening there are the ones made on an hourly basis to Molech. You didn’t think a little thing like a global killer virus pandemic would stop Planned Parenthood from their appointed duties, did you?

Last year, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo rejoiced as he signed into law the Reproductive Health Act that allows for the aborting of babies up to and even on their due date. He said it was a “cause for celebration” as he signed his name to the bill, making it a law. This year, New York City is the hardest hit sector in America from the coronavirus, with 25% of deaths nationwide happening there. Now, you can call that a coincidence if you like, but I don’t.
FROM BREITBART NEWS: Pro-life organization Created Equal produced a video of recorded phone requests for information from abortion facilities regarding the decision to continue with “business as usual” during the pandemic:
Mark Harrington, president of Created Equal, said:
The abortion industry claims they perform health care. However, we have evidence that abortion centers across the nation are staying open in the midst of this national health crisis, risking public health and safety. These centers must close their doors to help stop the spread of COVID-19. If they believe in the health of Americans, they have no other choice.
Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio, for example, is refusing to comply with an order by the state’s attorney general that bans nonessential and elective surgical procedures, such as abortions, during the coronavirus pandemic.
A lawyer for the abortion facility responded to a letter from the office of state Attorney General Dave Yost, asserting the order allows Planned Parenthood to “still continue providing essential procedures, including surgical abortion.”
“This is not about abortions,” Bethany McCorkle, a spokesperson for Yost, reportedly told CBS News on Sunday. “This is about nonessential surgeries using PPE [personal protective equipment] during this pandemic.”
Women’s Med Center of Dayton also refused to comply with the order to stop abortions, reported the Dayton Daily News, adding Planned Parenthood said it is “taking steps to reduce the use of personal protective equipment and is complying with the state order because abortion is an essential, time-sensitive medical procedure.”

Abortion clinics across the country are continuing to offer services, which providers call essential and time sensitive.

Pro-life organizations that have long documented the unsanitary conditions at abortion clinics, however, fear “steps to reduce the use” of PPE during abortions will further compromise the safety of women and cause the continued spread of the coronavirus.
In a statement sent to Breitbart News, Catherine Glenn Foster, president and CEO of Americans United for Life, said:
COVID-19 and the national crisis it has prompted remind us of so many truths the abortion lobby would rather we forget. Abortion companies always put their profits over their patients’ health. Abortion clinics are dirty and dangerous. Abortion is violence, not healthcare. The sheer selfishness on display by abortionists refusing to close shop even for a brief time to funnel every possible resource to the brave medical providers on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus – not to mention putting women at greater risk – is simply unconscionable.
Operation Rescue also noted that abortion facilities that are “not known for adhering to infection control protocols even in normal times — are staying open despite the very real threat of spreading the China Virus, COVID-19.”
The group’s president, Troy Newman, said:
While our schools, businesses, and churches are closed, abortion businesses are not only staying open, but are in active defiance and trying to increase the number of abortions done. For these people, today’s National Emergency is nothing more than an opportunity for profit-taking, no matter who it hurts.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has also moved to stop abortions in his state in order to make critical medical supplies available to those healthcare workers caring for victims of the coronavirus. The order states hospitals may only perform surgeries if the patient faces an immediate risk for “serious adverse medical consequences or death, as determined by the patient’s physician.”

In a video message, Texas-based former Planned Parenthood manager-turned pro-life activist Abby Johnson urged all governors to close abortion clinics, asserting “they are providing non-essential, elective procedures and taking up precious resources that need to be used elsewhere.”
The founder and director of And Then There Were None, an organization the helps abortion workers leave their jobs, continued:
It’s not just about abortion, all elective surgeries right now should be stopped if they are using up valuable PPE. Hospitals need that protective equipment and it should be used to treat patients who have the coronavirus, not on any elective procedure. Both medical and surgical abortion require PPE. The abortion industry’s protocol, even on medication abortions, require ultrasounds, where PPE are used, and the women must have a follow up appointment to make sure the baby has passed.
Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins also called for all abortion facilities to be closed down during the coronavirus crisis and is using the hashtag #StopTheSpread to call greater attention to the need:
At a time when many areas are facing medical supply shortages and taxpayer dollars are being redirected to address the consequences of the coronavirus, we urge every governor to order abortion facilities closed in order to redirect medical personnel and supplies towards real healthcare.
It makes no sense that Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities should remain open to commit abortions, as abortion is never essential. While millions of medical professionals across the country are scrambling to find necessary supplies, we urge every governor to order abortion facilities to cease abortions and to donate their taxpayer-funded, necessary medical supplies to local hospitals and clinics that need it to provide real life-saving care.
Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said Planned Parenthood is doing the opposite of most of the country.
“Planned Parenthood is … defying lawful directives and continuing to put abortion and profits before health and safety,” she said. “In doing so, they are also contributing to deficits in our nation’s supply of personal protective equipment. The sad truth about Trump’s war with Iran is this: America has not won in any final sense, the enriched uranium is still not secured, and the regime remains firmly in place. Strip away the press conferences, the slogans, and the chest-thumping, and that is where things stand. Until those three facts change, calling this a victory is not reality. For all the talk of strength, dominance, and victory, the central problems remain exactly where they were before the shooting started. Iran’s enriched uranium has not been fully secured, the mullahs are still sitting in power, and the regime that has spent decades chanting “Death to America” is still firmly in place. That is not victory. That is not peace through strength. That is a very expensive, very dangerous standoff dressed up as success. The hard reality is that even now, the nuclear issue remains unresolved. The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency said this week that any deal would require extremely detailed verification, and reported that Iran still possesses roughly 440.9 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60% purity, alarmingly close to weapons-grade. He also warned that inspectors have been denied access to key sites. In plain English, that means the world still does not have full control over the most dangerous part of Iran’s nuclear program. And that is what makes all the victory laps ring hollow.

If the uranium is still not secured, then the mission is incomplete. If the regime still stands, then the threat structure still stands. If negotiations are still bogged down because Tehran refuses core U.S. demands on enrichment and broader war aims, then whatever was won on the battlefield has not been translated into strategic victory at the table. The latest talks ended without an agreement, with U.S. negotiators saying Iran would not commit to halting its nuclear weapons development.
This is the part the media class rarely wants to say out loud: bombing a problem is not the same thing as solving it. You can strike facilities, you can damage infrastructure, you can issue ultimatums, and you can flood television screens with martial language, but if the regime survives, retains leverage, and keeps the most critical elements of its nuclear program beyond secure international control, then the deeper problem remains alive.
This is the scoreboard that matters, and from that perspective, Iran is doing quite well.
Iran understands this better than Washington does. The regime does not need to “win” in the conventional American sense. It only needs to endure. It only needs to outlast the pressure, preserve its core power structure, and keep enough of its strategic assets intact to bargain from a position of survival. Right now, that appears to be exactly what has happened. The mullahs are bruised, but they are not gone. Their system is battered, but it is not broken. Their nuclear file is contested, but not closed. That is why the spin coming from both political camps is so dangerous. One side wants to sell this as a show of overwhelming American resolve. The other side wants to reduce it to just another policy dispute. But this is bigger than that. The Middle East is once again proving that military action without decisive end-state control produces exactly the kind of instability that keeps the fire burning. And when the fire is in Iran, around the Strait of Hormuz, with nuclear material still in play, the whole world feels the heat.

A mother contacted us today through our Bibles Behind Bars program with a heartfelt request for King James Bibles to be sent to her two sons incarcerated at Mid-State Correctional Facility, but the Lord had a much bigger plan in mind. What began as one mother refusing to give up on her boys has now opened the door for many more inmates at that facility to receive the word of God as well. What a timely reminder that when someone steps out in faith, the Lord can take that one act of obedience and multiply it into a blessing that reaches far beyond the original request! Loaves and fishes, anyone?

After we got the request, I got on the phone with Chaplain Ellis at Mid-State Correctional, confirmed the woman’s two sons (name withheld) as being incarcerated there, and he told me that Mid-State holds a little over 1,500 inmates. I told him we could send him a bunch more than just the two Bibles, at no charge, and he was genuinely surprised and quite grateful for the offer, which he immediately took me up on. What started out as one mother with a burden for her sons to have God’s preserved word is now turning into an open floodgate of witness and ministry. This is why Bibles Behind Bars matters so much, because we are not merely sending books into prisons, we are sending the living word of God into places filled with darkness, regret, and brokenness. Inmates are getting saved, over 1,000 we know of so far, and eternal destinies are forever changed.
