Planned Parenthood is defying an Ohio order to discontinue elective abortions during the coronavirus pandemic, even though its abortion clinics are using up valuable personal protective equipment.
As the nascent outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus continues to wreak havoc on the healthcare system in the United States, Americans are being asked to make sacrifices of their time, their freedoms and personal liberties in order to control the flow of the virus. At the Planned Parenthood abortion mills, however, the only sacrifices happening there are the ones made on an hourly basis to Molech. You didn’t think a little thing like a global killer virus pandemic would stop Planned Parenthood from their appointed duties, did you?

Last year, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo rejoiced as he signed into law the Reproductive Health Act that allows for the aborting of babies up to and even on their due date. He said it was a “cause for celebration” as he signed his name to the bill, making it a law. This year, New York City is the hardest hit sector in America from the coronavirus, with 25% of deaths nationwide happening there. Now, you can call that a coincidence if you like, but I don’t.

Mark Harrington, president of Created Equal, said:
The abortion industry claims they perform health care. However, we have evidence that abortion centers across the nation are staying open in the midst of this national health crisis, risking public health and safety. These centers must close their doors to help stop the spread of COVID-19. If they believe in the health of Americans, they have no other choice.
Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio, for example, is refusing to comply with an order by the state’s attorney general that bans nonessential and elective surgical procedures, such as abortions, during the coronavirus pandemic.
A lawyer for the abortion facility responded to a letter from the office of state Attorney General Dave Yost, asserting the order allows Planned Parenthood to “still continue providing essential procedures, including surgical abortion.”
“This is not about abortions,” Bethany McCorkle, a spokesperson for Yost, reportedly told CBS News on Sunday. “This is about nonessential surgeries using PPE [personal protective equipment] during this pandemic.”
Women’s Med Center of Dayton also refused to comply with the order to stop abortions, reported the Dayton Daily News, adding Planned Parenthood said it is “taking steps to reduce the use of personal protective equipment and is complying with the state order because abortion is an essential, time-sensitive medical procedure.”

‘We 100% Plan to Stay Open’: Abortion Providers Say They Will Continue Services During Pandemic
Abortion clinics across the country are continuing to offer services, which providers call essential and time sensitive.

Pro-life organizations that have long documented the unsanitary conditions at abortion clinics, however, fear “steps to reduce the use” of PPE during abortions will further compromise the safety of women and cause the continued spread of the coronavirus.
In a statement sent to Breitbart News, Catherine Glenn Foster, president and CEO of Americans United for Life, said:
COVID-19 and the national crisis it has prompted remind us of so many truths the abortion lobby would rather we forget. Abortion companies always put their profits over their patients’ health. Abortion clinics are dirty and dangerous. Abortion is violence, not healthcare. The sheer selfishness on display by abortionists refusing to close shop even for a brief time to funnel every possible resource to the brave medical providers on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus – not to mention putting women at greater risk – is simply unconscionable.
Operation Rescue also noted that abortion facilities that are “not known for adhering to infection control protocols even in normal times — are staying open despite the very real threat of spreading the China Virus, COVID-19.”
The group’s president, Troy Newman, said:
While our schools, businesses, and churches are closed, abortion businesses are not only staying open, but are in active defiance and trying to increase the number of abortions done. For these people, today’s National Emergency is nothing more than an opportunity for profit-taking, no matter who it hurts.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has also moved to stop abortions in his state in order to make critical medical supplies available to those healthcare workers caring for victims of the coronavirus. The order states hospitals may only perform surgeries if the patient faces an immediate risk for “serious adverse medical consequences or death, as determined by the patient’s physician.”

In a video message, Texas-based former Planned Parenthood manager-turned pro-life activist Abby Johnson urged all governors to close abortion clinics, asserting “they are providing non-essential, elective procedures and taking up precious resources that need to be used elsewhere.”
The founder and director of And Then There Were None, an organization the helps abortion workers leave their jobs, continued:
It’s not just about abortion, all elective surgeries right now should be stopped if they are using up valuable PPE. Hospitals need that protective equipment and it should be used to treat patients who have the coronavirus, not on any elective procedure. Both medical and surgical abortion require PPE. The abortion industry’s protocol, even on medication abortions, require ultrasounds, where PPE are used, and the women must have a follow up appointment to make sure the baby has passed.
Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins also called for all abortion facilities to be closed down during the coronavirus crisis and is using the hashtag #StopTheSpread to call greater attention to the need:
At a time when many areas are facing medical supply shortages and taxpayer dollars are being redirected to address the consequences of the coronavirus, we urge every governor to order abortion facilities closed in order to redirect medical personnel and supplies towards real healthcare.
It makes no sense that Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities should remain open to commit abortions, as abortion is never essential. While millions of medical professionals across the country are scrambling to find necessary supplies, we urge every governor to order abortion facilities to cease abortions and to donate their taxpayer-funded, necessary medical supplies to local hospitals and clinics that need it to provide real life-saving care.
Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said Planned Parenthood is doing the opposite of most of the country.
“Planned Parenthood is … defying lawful directives and continuing to put abortion and profits before health and safety,” she said. “In doing so, they are also contributing to deficits in our nation’s supply of personal protective equipment. The jails in North Georgia are reaping a Bible bonanza as requests are flooding in and King James Bibles are being sent back out. So far, we have supplied Bibles and books to The Floyd County Jail, the Houston County Detention Center, the Cheetooga County Jail, the Whitfield County Jail and the Murray County Jail. This week, we’ve received additional requests from the Gordon County Jail and the Catoosa County Jail. All these facilities are located throughout north and central Georgia.

Over at Gordon County, Pastor Joe wrote to tell us this “For the past 31 years, a team of Preachers & some women go in every Tuesday Night from 7 to 9:30pm at the Gordon County Jail in Calhoun, GA. To preach, Testify, or just talk to the in mates. I have not kept a number on the Bible’s. But this year we have gone through 4 distributors. We are having a hard time getting bibles now.” We hear that from so many chaplains and jail workers now, that it’s nearly impossible for the smaller jails – 150 to 550 inmates – to get their hands on much-needed Bibles and Christian literature. Pastor Joe and his team have been faithfully serving for 31 years with their group at the Gordon County Jail, and it’s an honor to help the supply lines open for them and all the others that Bibles Behind Bars serves. They need 500 Bibles. The Catoosa County Jail is the most recent facility to come aboard, and Bro. Roger there says “we have 250 inmates average, we need 50 Bibles for the meeting rooms and 100 to give to inmates as they request them. We need 10 Spanish Bibles. We don’t have that many arrests of Hispanics. Weekly, we preach to around 100. Whatever you can give us is very much appreciated”.
As if all this wasn’t enough, the Lord has also led Project South Africa to our door, they have a shipping container heading out from Statesboro, Georgia in a few weeks, and would dearly love us to put a couple of thousand King James Bibles onboard. Wow, our cup truly is running over with opportunity to serve the Lord. To fully finance these three requests, it will take somewhere between $10-12,000 that will purchase between 2,500 to 3,500 King James Bibles divided up among the 3 groups. Do you remember a few months ago the incredible story of American church planting missionary Josh Sullivan who was kidnapped and held for ransom in South Africa? When the call to pray for his safe return went out across social media, millions of Christians held their breath and fervently prayed for his safe return. Amazingly and miraculously, the Lord did just that. Now that same collective of missionaries have reached out to us asking for help in putting King James Bibles in a container heading to Africa shortly.
“And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. Today I received an email from Bro. Kevin Hall, he and Bro. Mark Coffey work with a group called Project South Africa, they help to plant churches and maintain a Bible college called Bay Baptist Bible College of Port Elizabeth in South Africa. Josh Sullivan teaches Bible in that school, and is part of this amazing team of people evangelizing South Africa. Bro. Kevin wrote to me and said “I spoke to you this morning about Bibles for our container being shipped to South Africa. Pastor Rick Spence of Dalton, GA gave me your contact info as you had supplied him with Bibles for jail ministry in North Georgia. Vision Baptist Missions is the mission board under which myself, and Mark Coffey work. Mark is the one organizing the container. A ministry called Directline Ministries is helping with the shipping of the container. Josh Sullivan is a fellow laborer in our city. We work together. He is a friend, fellow church planter and teaches in our shared Bible College.” So not only is the Lord having us supply virtually all the jails in North Georgia with Bibles, now it would seem He’d like us to send some to South Africa, as well.
The Lord sure is funny sometimes, isn’t He? One day we’re all praying for Josh Sullivan to be returned home safely, and the next those same people are reaching out to us asking for help with sending Bibles to South Africa. Depending on how much we raise, I’d like us to send a minimum of 1,000 Bibles (cost $3,590) up to perhaps 2,500 Bibles (cost $8,975). But we can’t do it without your help.
