Pastor Dancan reports that the children were in awe of the food that arrived for them this morning, beyond grateful to the NTEB’ers from America who are helping them

Yesterday, we told you about the 84 orphans at the Glory Fellowship Orphanage in Kisii, Kenya, who has not had anything to eat since Monday. We issued an urgent call for support, and you all are responding in a manner befitting servants of the Most High God. Thank you so much for that. We are also happy to report that all the children enjoyed a wonderful meal today, and will have enough food for about a week.

“If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?” James 2:15,16 (KJB)

Right now, we have stepped in to take care of the immediate need of the children at the orphanage, and are raising funds to keep them fed for about a month. During this time, we will be working with Pastor Dancan on determining the best path to get them self-sufficient by way of growing their own crops, having a milk cow, a goat and perhaps some hens for providing eggs. This video shows the children eating the food we provided for them this morning, they were thrilled beyond measure.

So our goal is two-fold. We want to provide them with cooking oil, maize, bananas, rice, beans, and salt from now to the start of our Camp Meeting in Septemeber, a month, and Lord willing at the Camp Meeting be able to report the good news that we were able to help them build a little farm as well. Beyond Critical: Trump’s Iran War Drains America’s Patriot Missile Stockpile As Putin Threatens A New Escalation Against Ukraine And NATO

America is fighting Iran, Ukraine is setting Russia’s war machine on fire, Putin is being pushed higher up the escalation ladder, and the Patriot missiles standing between Europe and Russian ballistic weapons are disappearing faster than America can replace them. That is not merely a weapons shortage. That is a geopolitical chain reaction — and every link in the chain is getting hotter.

AP reports that American Patriot interceptor inventories in Europe have fallen to what one U.S. defense official called “beyond critical,” largely because weapons have been diverted and expended during Trump’s war with Iran. These are precisely the interceptors NATO depends upon to destroy the high-speed Russian ballistic missiles that become increasingly important if Moscow climbs the escalation ladder. Washington therefore finds itself caught in a nightmare equation: Iran is forcing America to expend its missile defenses, Ukraine is forcing Russia deeper into a corner, Russia is contemplating greater military escalation, and America’s ability to defend Europe against that escalation is simultaneously being depleted. And while Washington debates whether Putin will escalate, Russia is already firing waves of ballistic missiles and drones into Ukraine, Ukraine has just set a monthly record for attacks on Russian refineries, Moscow is threatening Western military targets, and Trump says he isn’t worried about Russia attacking NATO — even as America’s premier defense against Russian ballistic missiles remains “beyond critical.” Today we find ourselves at the 6 month anniversary of Trump’s “6 Week War”, with no end or resolution in sight. The food has run out for the children at the Glory Fellowship Orphanage in Kenya, and the Lord has given us the calling to step in and do what we can

I got on a video call this morning with Pastor Dancan in Kenya for our weekly Bible Study and discipleship time, and almost immediately I could see he was highly preoccupied with something else. I asked him what was going on, and he said he was troubled because the local people who normally donate beans, rice, banans and oil to help feed the 84 kids in his charge had not supplied him with that recently, and he wasn’t quite sure how to solve the problem. When I asked how long it was since the children had eaten, and he said 3 days, that hit me hard.

“Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.” Isaiah 1:17 (KJB)

I will be honest, my first reaction upon hearing the kids hadn’t eaten in 3 days was not so much sadness, it was anger. Not anger at any person, but it made me mad that such a situation could take place. Fighting mad. So immediately, I instructed our contact in Kenya to deliver to Pastor Dancan enough rice, beans, maize, bananas, cooking oil and salt to solve the immediate need for all the children, some of which has already arrived at the orphanage. The rest, Lord willing, will arrive tomorrow. I am praying that we will be able to keep them fed for the next month or so, and that many reading this article will want to partner with us to meet this pressing need. But what we really need to do for them is get them self-sufficient by planting some basic crops and getting them some chickens, a goat and a cow. The cost to supply them with foodstuffs for the next month is $3,500, and I am right now researching the most feasible way to help them build a little farm.
