This will change your life

From the people who brought you Facing The Giants, Fireproof and Flywheel, comes possibly their best effort yet. I took my kids to see this movie and I promise you that you will not only love this movie, but it may just possibly change your life. And if YOU are a father, you absolutely must, no questions asked, see this movie.

Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.

While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they’re quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark.

When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God … and to their children?

Filled with action-packed police drama, COURAGEOUS is the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures, the moviemaking ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Riveted moviegoers will once again find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kinds of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children.

Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That’s courageous. Sherwood Pictures

Christian Movie ‘The Hill’ Is An Emotionally-Charged True Life Drama That Puts Jesus Christ In The Center And Never Lets Go Even For A Moment

New Christian movie ‘The Hill’ is the true life story of Rickey Hill in whose life God worked an amazing miracle through a baseball, bat and unrelenting faith

I can well remember watching ‘Facing The Giants’ for the first time, and what an incredible charge to my faith that movie was. It’s a rarity in Hollywood when a movie comes out that is truly a Christian movie for Bible believers, that is also well-acted and produced, and stays true from start to finish. New Christian movie ‘The Hill’ is such a film, based on the incredible true story of Rickey Hill who was born with crippling degenerative spine disease, and overcame it all to become a professional baseball player.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 (KJB)

Movie Insider says “Growing up impoverished in small-town Texas, young Rickey Hill shows an extraordinary ability for hitting a baseball, despite being burdened by leg braces from a degenerative spinal disease. His stern, pastor father (DENNIS QUAID) discourages Rickey from playing baseball to protect him from injury, and to have him follow in his footsteps and become a preacher. As a young man, Rickey (COLIN FORD) becomes a baseball phenomenon. His desire to participate in a try-out for a legendary major league scout divides the family and threatens Rickey’s dream of playing professional baseball.”

From a Christian perspective, ‘The Hill’ shows you a wonderful, true-life account of how God works out His will for all of us in different ways but always leading to the same end point. Rickey’s pastor father could not ever imagine that it could be the Lord’s will for his son to be a baseball player instead of being a preacher, but that’s exactly what happened. When Rickey, who was born a functional cripple, says to his father that “God don’t make mistakes. I feel his perfection guiding me when I swing that bat. I bear witness to his power when the ball sails to the backfield fence”, you truly feel you are watching God doing something new in Rickey’s life.

If you want to take your family to a movie that you will actually feel good about when it’s over, a movie that will absolutely remind you of all the times that God has worked miraculously in your life, then go see ‘The Hill’. It’s an amazing movie and I could not recommend it more highly. Go see it.

Now The End Begins is your front line defense against the rising tide of darkness in the last Days before the Rapture of the Church

Please continue to pray for us, and for wisdom for me especially, as we continue taking steps to print the NTEB branded King James Bible for our free Bible and Bibles Behind Bars program. It is exciting and intimidating at the same time. If the Lord has prospered your financially, we ask you to donate to help us continue to send out free Bibles at this level, and even higher than we are at the moment. It takes a lot of prayer, and a lot of resources to do all this. Praise the Lord we are doing it, all of us together, labouring in the Lord’s harvest field. TO THE FIGHT!!!

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. The Lord has given us an open door with a tremendous ‘course’ for us to fulfill that will create an excellent experience at the Judgement Seat of Christ. Please pray for our efforts, and if the Lord leads you to donate, be as generous as possible. The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORTTO THE FIGHT!!!

The ‘Jesus Revolution’ Movie And All The Other Current Media Promotions Of This ‘Another Jesus’ Are Paving The Way For Acceptance Of LGBTQIA+ In Churches

The current ‘Jesus Revolution’ craze that is sweeping across America is not revival, but is paving the way for the inclusion and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ in the Church.

If you’ve been paying attention to all the various moving parts of the current ‘Jesus Revolution’ movie craze, you will find 2 themes that pop up constantly into all the various elements like the Asbury Revival, the ‘He Gets Us’ commercials, and all the rest. The first thing you’ll notice is that it preaches a gospel based on experience and emotions instead of the sound preaching of Paul’s gospel. The second thing you find is that the whole movement is working itself toward the acceptance and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in the Church. That’s the goal, that’s the end game, and if you are not on board, you’re the enemy.

“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:” Ephesians 4:14,15 (KJB)

Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 4:1-5 and 2 Thessalonians 2:2 that in the last days before the catching up of the Church in the Rapture, there will be a rejection of Bible doctrine resulting in the ‘falling away’ from Bible truth. If you are a discerning Christian, look closely at the Asbury Revival, the ‘He Gets Us’ commercials, the ‘Jesus Revolution’ movie, and you won’t find enough Bible doctrine to fill a tea cup. While I write this, I have an interview playing with the director of ‘Jesus Revolution’ who is saying that the movie intentionally avoids Bible doctrine and intentionally promotes the emotions and feelings instead. At minute 12:28 of the interview they are discussing how in the movie they intentionally hid the fact that Lonnie Frisbee, the leader of the Jesus Movement, was a homosexual. Did you know that? Hmm.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” 2 Corinthians 11:4 (KJB)

Here’s the problem. If you are straight, the Bible says that fornication outside of marriage between a man and a woman is a sin, and if you engage in it you need to repent of it. But God absolutely blesses sex between a married man and woman, being straight is not a sin. Not so for the homosexual. If someone from the LGBTQIA+ was to want to join the Church they would have to do three things according to the Bible. They would have get saved, born again according to 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and John 3:3-5. Next, they would have to repent of their sin of sodomy and same-sex fornications. But then, and here is where the ‘rubber meets the road’, they would have to repent of being a homosexual, a lesbian, or whatever other letter they were identifying with. Have you heard any testimony from the Asbury Revival of anyone repenting, not just of whatever kind of sexual activity, but repenting of being gay? That would be real repentance, and you won’t find that anywhere in any of these things we are discussing.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 17:9,10 (KJB)

This is why none of these outlets are using Bible doctrine, because that doctrine condemns their false gospel and their presentation of this ‘another Jesus’. This is why you hear exactly zero messaging on lost people dying and going to a burning, fiery Hell, because the crowd that laps this junk up will not tolerate that type of preaching. People do not get saved by ‘asking Jesus into their hearts’, Jesus doesn’t want your heart. Why not? Because it’s wicked, filthy and dirty, that’s why. Jesus wants what He paid for on the cross, He wants your sins. Saying a 30-second prayer cannot save you, but in 30 seconds you can make the great transaction of your sins for His righteousness.

The same churches that are promoting the ‘Jesus Revolution’ movie are right now also promoting the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ into not only the churches they run, but are openly encouraging other churches to join in with them. As proof of that, I’ve included videos of megachurch pretend pastors Andy Stanley from North Point Community Church in Georgia, and from pretend pastor Danny De Armas from First Baptist Orlando bragging about doing what this article says they’re doing.

But don’t take my word for it, go see for yourself. Find somebody who is gushing over the Asbury Revival, and talk to them about their sin, Hell and judgment. Go to any of the theaters playing the ‘Jesus Revolution’ movie, stand out side with a scripture sign and handing out gospel tracts, and see how many dirty looks you get from the ‘christians’ going in and out of the theater. Don’t kid me, man, I have preached on the streets for over a decade now, and 9 out of 10 times, the most ugly comments we got were from people who said they were born again Christians who hated what we were doing.

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:2-5 (KJB)

NTEB from the beginning has warned you about the grooming of your kids to turn them queer, and that happened. We warned from the beginning that the 6-colored rainbow Pride Flag was really a battle flag, and they were really waging war, and that is exactly what has happened. Now Satan is coming for your church with the demonic Love Gospel, will you stand in the gap and preach the truth? You don’t have to yell or scream, you don’t have to get mad, you just have to preach the gospel the way God wrote it. Can you do that?

Christian Classic ‘Sheffey’ Is The Story Of 19th Century Circuit Riding Preacher Robert Sheffey That Will Rekindle Your Fire To Labor For The Lord Jesus

Robert Sheffey was a 19-century circuit riding itinerant preacher featured in Christian classic ‘Sheffey’ from Bob Jones University.

Robert Sheffey died on August 30, 1902, after having preached throughout Southwest Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina. His tombstone simply reads, “The poor were sorry when he died.”

Shortly after I first got saved, and met some good Christian brothers who put Ruckman King James Bible commentaries in my hands, they also gave me a movie to watch that has stayed with me all these years later. It’s a Christian film from the 1970’s called ‘Sheffey’, and it presents the story of itinerant Appalachian preacher named Robert Sheffey, who loved lost souls and gave his life to bring them the gospel riding, on horseback.

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” 1 Timothy 1:12,13 (KJB)

On May 22nd, we here at NTEB are going to have an old-fashioned camp meeting on the 95-acre gorgeous Kelly Farms, that is smack dab in the style of those 19-century tent revivals of DL Moody and the Wabash Camp Meeting that Robert Sheffey poured his heart and soul into. We would love for you to come to our camp meeting, click image below to register.

In the meantime, please enjoy a fully restored and remastered version of ‘Sheffey’ from Unusual Films from Bob Jones University at the bottom of this article. Please comment after watching and let us know how you enjoyed it. It’s one of my favorite films of all time, and it will be one of yours as well, enjoy!

The Appalachian Mountain Preacher Who Loved Animals

FROM APPALACHIAN MAGAZINE: Born in Wythe County, Virginia, Robert Sheffey became orphaned at the age of two and was forced to move to nearby Abingdon, Virginia, to be raised by his aunt. Sheffey would later say that he was “born of the flesh on July 4, 1820, in Ivanhoe, Wythe County, Virginia, and that he was born of the Spirit on January 9, 1839, over Greenway’s store, at Abingdon, Virginia.”

It was on this blustering January day that Sheffey heeded Jesus’ call of “Ye must be born again…”Asking Christ to be his personal saviour, Sheffey soon surrendered his life to full-time ministry and the same autumn, he enrolled into Emory & Henry College. Unfortunately Sheffey’s “early dislike for books and an aversion for profound study,” made him a terrible student and the new believer soon dropped out of seminary. With no degree, but convinced of a heavenly calling on his life, Sheffey attempted to become ordained by the Methodist Church; however, his ordination was shot down due to his lack of education.

With no official ordination or formal degree, Sheffey set out into the hills and hollers of Appalachia as an itinerant preacher, circuit riding on horseback — roaming from town to town holding tent meetings and preaching a message of repentance. His lack of education did in no wise affect his ability to faithfully minister.

Many stories about Sheffey related to his power in prayer abound.  Some of his prayers concerned critical needs of agricultural communities, such as the need for rain in time of drought or the prevention of rain during harvest.  Other of his prayers centered upon his disdain for alcohol. According to an expert in the folklore of itinerant Methodist preachers, there are “at least twenty-five accounts of how Sheffey’s prayers led to the immediate destruction of whiskey stills and distilleries.”

According to one minister, Sheffey prayed for the destruction of three distilleries on a creek near where they had been preaching. The minister claimed the proprietor of one still, in robust health, died suddenly; at a second, Sheffey prayed that a tree would fall on the still house though there were no trees nearby, and a “great storm came and actually landed a tree on the still”; and a third still was destroyed by fire after Sheffey had spent a night in prayer against it. Men were said to have left the area rather than become the object of Sheffey’s prayers.

As incredible as these stories may be, the thing that makes the “Saint of the Wilderness” so unique among the men of his day may very well have been his love for animals.

He once dismounted to collect tadpoles in his handkerchief so that he could transfer them to a stream from a small pool where they were certain to die. Others he tried to save by bringing water to their mud hole. Sheffey regularly stopped to right beetles and dropped out of funeral processions to lift insects out of the way of wagon wheels. He gave his lunch to hungry dogs and tried (unsuccessfully) to “relieve” flies caught on sticky paper. Once when his brother-in-law cut a wasp in two with a pair of scissors, Sheffey went out to the yard and started praying. When the brother-in-law asked why, he replied, “I am praying for the Lord to make another wasp to take the place of the one you killed.” Sheffey was especially solicitous of his horse. He specifically instructed hosts how to water and feed his horse, and he often dismounted rather than make the horse carry him up a steep grade.

In addition to his affinity for animals, Sheffey was also known for his peculiar sense of humor.  He was once called to pray for a child that had been bitten by a rattlesnake. While praying, Sheffey is said to have petitioned, “O Lord, we do thank Thee for rattlesnakes. If it had not been for a rattlesnake they would never have called upon You. Send a rattlesnake to bite Bill, and one to bite John, and send a great big one to bite the old man.”

Robert Sheffey died on August 30, 1902, after having preached throughout Southwest Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina. His tombstone simply reads, “The poor were sorry when he died.” READ MORE
