Nike Launches New Islamic ‘Victory Swim Collection’ Which Includes Burka-Style Full Coverage Suit As Well As A Swim Hijab For Muslims
The new Islamic Victory Swim Collection from Nike will include a full-coverage burka swimsuit and a swim hijab, can we expect that Sharia Law is next?
Nike’s new Islamic Victory Swim Collection will include a full-coverage swimsuit and a swim hijab. The collection “brings performance innovation to modest swimwear.”
Nike has announced the upcoming launch in February of its new and oddly entitled Victory Swim Collection featuring Islamic swimsuits and hijabs for Muslims, and that leads me to ask a question. What exactly does the word ‘victory‘ here refer to? Is it signifying a ‘victory’ of the Muslim swimmer over the water? Is it referring to a Muslim victory over America? Is it anticipating a Democratic win in 2020 that would mean Islam could then come to power and that Sharia Law could finally be instituted? I think this is a very real and very important question that every patriot should be asking. What is the ‘victory‘ in the Nike Victory Swim Collection?

This is not the first time Nike has moved sharply left towards embracing Islamic culture, far from it. Back in January of this year, it was discovered that the word ‘Allah’ was woven into the soles of their new Air Max 270 sneakers, sparking outrage and a petition on Change.org that garnered 49,174 signatures to date. Nike is very sneaky. Their official marketing for their Islamic Victory Swim Collection doesn’t have the guts to use words like “Islamic” and “Muslim”, instead they are calling it “modest swimwear” instead of what it is, Muslim swimwear. Just remember the parable of the frog sitting in cool but rapidly heating water, remember how he wound up. Because that’s where it’s all headed.

The collection, which includes the Nike Victory Full-Coverage Swimsuit along with swim separate options — the Nike Victory Swim Hijab, the Nike Victory Swim Tunic Top and the Nike Victory Swim Leggings — brings performance innovation to modest swimwear. The Nike Victory Swim Collection is available February 1 on nike.com and at select retailers globally.
The fabric is designed to be lightweight, breathable and fast-drying. The suits also have a high ultraviolet skin protection factor, according to Nike. The full-coverage suit is available along with a separate hijab, tunic top and swim leggings.

The new swim options follow Nike’s release of a performance hijab for Muslim women athletes in 2017. Nike said it began developing the hijab after some Muslim athletes complained about wearing a traditional headscarf during competition.
