TRY THE SPIRITS: If Kanye West And His ‘Sunday Service Revival’ Happening Now Is Really The Work Of The Holy Spirit, This Is What You Will See Along With It
Are Kanye West and his ‘Jesus Is King’ Sunday Service revivals a legit working and moving of the Holy Spirit, or are they just a work of the flesh?
Revivals that swept across America in the 18th and 19th centuries were almost always accompanied by a conviction of sin, a repentance from sin, and a turning back to God.
The news of Kanye West and his ‘Sunday Service’ travelling show is in the news just about everywhere at the moment. The biggest currently is the claim that over 1,000 people got saved in Baton Rouge on Friday night, in the altar call at the end of the event. So the question we have before us now is this things a legit moving of the Holy Spirit, or is it part of the end times deception? As Bible believers, we are call to ‘try the spirits’ before signing off on something, and in this very timely article, that is what we will endeavor to do.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:1-3 (KJV)
America has not seen real Holy Spirit revival in quite some time now. Over the past 20 years or so we have seen highly questionable and outright false revivals like the Brownsville Revival back in 1999, the Lakeland Outpouring in 2008, and the Toronto Blessing in 2014. All three of these ‘revivals’ were works of the flesh and not a work of the Holy Spirit if the Bible is to be our guide. Why do I say that? Because biblical revival brings a conviction of sin, a forsaking of sin behaviour, and is evidenced by biblical repentance. It doesn’t bring “Bam!, Bam!, Bam!“. Biblical revival is not centered around your feelings, emotions, praise music, or ‘asking Jesus into your heart’. When the Holy Spirit brings revival, He also brings change, and lots of it.
Revivals that swept across America in the 18th and 19th centuries were almost always accompanied by a conviction of sin, a repentance from sin, and a turning back to God. When evangelist Billy Sunday preached his fiery sermons in the late 1800’s, liquor stores and bar would not only close, in many cases, the owners of those establishments were under such great conviction that they went out of business and found other lines of work. That’s what you can expect to see when the Holy Spirit brings a revival. So let’s take a look at some of the things the Bible says goes hand in hand with true Holy Spirit revival by looking at examples of people getting right with God.
- HOLY SPIRIT REVIVAL SHOWS YOU YOUR LOST CONDITION: In Acts 16, we have the amazing story of how Holy Spirit revival came to not only the Philippian jailer but to his entire house as well. You will note that it started with the jailer understanding that he was lost and headed for Hell, prompting him to cry out and ask how he could get saved. Holy Spirit revival will always, always, always convict you of your lost and unsaved condition. “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.” Acts 16:25-33 (KJV)
- HOLY SPIRIT REVIVAL CALLS YOU TO REPENTANCE: When there is a true movement of the Holy Spirit, you will see repentance. Holy Spirit revival, like I previously said, has almost nothing to do with ‘inviting Jesus into your heart’, ‘feeling the spirit’ or any other such like thing. When the Holy Spirit is moving, He will convict people of thier lost condition without Christ, He will convict saved people of their backslidden condition, and He will provide the spiritual remedy from scripture. This is the entire function of the Holy Spirit. So don’t judge revival by the size of the crowds or by their outpouring of emotion, neither of those two things have anything to do with real revival. Real revival convicts. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” John 16:7-11 (KJV)
- HOLY SPIRIT REVIVAL CHANGES YOU: When I got saved back in 1991, I was alone in my room and on my knees with a King James Bible. No crowds, no music, no cheering, no fanfare of any kind. I read one verse of scripture, John 3:16 (KJV), and after a year and a half of ‘looking for God’ He let me find Him, and I have never been the same since. Yes, I struggle with sin, I struggle with faith, I have lots of struggles like any other Christian, but that day I got saved I became a new creature in Jesus Christ, and though I have not done it perfectly or anything close to it, I wake up every day and communicate with my Creator, and try my best to do His will and submit to His authority. I am not the person I was before I got saved, getting saved changed me from the inside out. (read my personal testimony here). In any revival of the Holy Spirit, after it has swept through, it will leave changed people in its wake. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 (KJV)
Now let’s return to the revival in Baton Rouge on Friday night where over 1,000 people came forward and “gave their lives to Christ“. As you can see in the video below, there was no preaching of the gospel of any kind. None. What there was was lots and lots of music that tossed around words like “I ain’t afraid”, “Jesus is the Name I love”, and so on. But there is no music recorded in the Bible, only words. The gospel that saves your soul and convicts you of sin and leads you to repentance is not open for interpretation. This is the gospel:
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)
Holy Spirit conviction doesn’t lead you to jump and holler, or shout and sing, Holy Spirit conviction drops you to your knees and causes you to cry out to the God you’ve been sinning against, asking for His mercy and accepting Jesus payment for your sin on the cross. The night I got saved, my sins and failures flooded before my face, I had nothing to offer God, and all I could do was ask Him to save me from the fiery Hell I so richly deserved. That’s Holy Spirit revival, that’s Holy Spirit conviction. And in nearly 30 years since I got saved, I have heard thousands of stories of all the different ways that people got saved, but one thing has remained constant in every account. Never once have I ever heard of someone getting saved who didn’t first come under conviction of their own personal sin(s) against God, ask for mercy, and accept Jesus’ payment on the cross as applied to their personal sin debt.
I do not and cannot, if we are using the Bible as the standard, accept any so-called revival that does not also contain the preaching of the gospel of the grace of God for the conviction of sin in the ears of the listeners. I have yet to see a video clip in any of these Sunday Service revivals of the gospel being preached and sinners coming to repentance. So far all I see is a concert. Don’t get me wrong, a concert centered around Jesus is never a bad thing. But if that concert is leading people to believe they’ve gotten saved when there has been no preaching of the gospel, no conviction of sin, and no repentance, then it’s not a concert, it’s tragic. All a concert like that will do is produce false converts.

The Truth About Heaven And Hell
Let me ask you the most important question you will every be asked in your entire life. If you were to die tonight, where would you go?
“But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.” Luke 12:5 (KJV)
Do you know for sure that you would be in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ, or is there a nagging doubt that tells you perhaps you are headed in the other direction? God has made salvation so simple a 6 year old child can grasp it. God did it all for you on Calvary, all you have to do is accept it or reject it. Do you know what Jesus was doing on the cross? He was making a payment on your sin debt, paid in full. And if you’re lost, that payment is just sitting there at the foot of Calvary’s cross waiting for you to come and claim it.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 13,131 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,500 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.

FUN FACT: It Is Alcohol That Is The Number #1 Cause Of Preventable Deaths Here In America Not Illegal Drugs Coming Over On Boats From Narcoterrorists
It is alcohol consumption and not illegal drug use that is the number #1 cause of preventable death that’s killing a massive number of Americans yearly
For decades we were told that the greatest threat to American life and liberty came from illegal drugs—cocaine, meth, fentanyl, heroin. And to be sure, those substances have destroyed countless lives. But as new national research continues to roll in, a shocking truth has emerged: the legal, government-sanctioned “social drink” is killing far more people than the substances our leaders claim to be waging war against. A message to President Trump – if you really want to stop the killing from drug use, ban the drug we call alcohol. Alcohol kills far more people than illegal drugs do.
“Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.” Proverbs 23:29-32 (KJB)
In this present Laodicean age, where pleasure is the new morality and self-indulgence is the national pastime, alcohol is quietly claiming lives at a rate that far surpasses illicit drug use. The world shrugs. The media yawns. And Christians—many of them—have learned to justify the very thing that is destroying their own households. So as far as I’m concerned, this whole national dialogue about Narcoterrorists killing Americans with illegal drugs doesn’t hold a candle to the millions of kids who are taught to become alcoholics at MLB and NFL stadiums.
A Legal Substance With Illegal-Level Destruction
Recent mortality data reveals that alcohol-related deaths have skyrocketed, overtaking illicit drugs as a major cause of preventable death in the United States. The numbers include liver disease, alcohol-induced organ failure, drunk-driving fatalities, alcohol-fueled violence, and deaths tied to long-term addiction. Yet unlike illegal drugs, alcohol enjoys full cultural acceptance, full government protection, and full corporate marketing power behind it. There is no stigma. No shame. No national warning campaign. Alcohol is celebrated in commercials, sports events, holidays, weddings, even in some so-called “church fellowships.” No Christian should ever drink it, and no preacher should ever stay silent about it.
Because the Bible is not silent. “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise” (Proverbs 20:1). In God’s preserved Book, alcohol is never neutral, never harmless, and never “safe in moderation.” Its end is always destruction. America used to know that when preachers like DL Moody and Billy Sunday stood in the pulpit.
Big Alcohol: A Multibillion-Dollar Industry Built on Broken Homes
If Big Pharma profits from addiction, Big Alcohol might be even worse. Billions of dollars flow through an industry whose survival depends on one thing: repeat customers. The light drinker is not their business. Their real money comes from people they’ve addicted who can’t stop.
And what do we get in return?
- Tens of thousands of deaths every year
- Millions of broken marriages
- Abuse, violence, poverty, and imprisonment
- Children raised in instability
- Generational trauma that repeats itself like a curse
This is not an accident. This is the fruit of a system that has normalized what God has condemned. But we were warned: “At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.” (Proverbs 23:32)
Why Christians Are Losing the Battle Before It Even Starts
The saddest part is not what the world is doing with alcohol—it’s what the Church is doing. In this lukewarm Church Age, professing Christians defend alcohol more strongly than they defend the Bible! They insist that “Jesus made wine,” ignoring the scriptural distinctions between fermented and unfermented wine. They argue that drinking is fine “as long as I don’t get drunk,” as if voluntarily consuming a mind-altering substance is some kind of Christian liberty badge. It isn’t.
This is not liberty. It is bondage masquerading as freedom.
The apostle Paul writes, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18). Notice the contrast: one spirit empties you of discernment; the Holy Spirit fills you with it. Alcohol reduces, diminishes, and destroys. The Spirit edifies, strengthens, and sanctifies. But you don’t know that because your pastor doesn’t preach that.
America isn’t merely drunk on alcohol. She is drunk on self-justification, convinced she can handle what is handling her.
When Noah emerged from the ark into a brand-new world, the very first recorded sin was drunkenness and alcohol-induced shame (Genesis 9:20-24). When God describes the fall of Babylon in Revelation 17–18, the imagery again involves intoxication—nations made drunk with spiritual fornication. Alcohol is not just a social issue; it is a spiritual picture of a people dulled, numbed, and desensitized right before judgment falls. America is not dying because of what is illegal, but because of what is celebrated. “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.“1 Peter4:7 (KJB)

Street Preacher In England Warned By Police Office That The John 3:16 Scripture On The Back Of His Van Could Be Considered ‘Hated Speech’ Crime
Street preacher Mick Fleming in England was recently warned by police over the John 3:16 Bible verse he placed on the back of his van that it could be considered ‘hate speech’
I was browsing my news feed this morning when I came across this article on a street preacher in England, Mick Fleming, who lives in a van and ministers through his Church On The Street ministry. I have never heard of this guy before, know almost nothing about him, but I got saved on John 3:16, so anytime I see an article about that verse it always catches my attention.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJB)
The world is changing rapidly, the spirit of Antichrist is rising, and this lost world is preparing itself from the coming 7-year kingdom. England is a nation that have embraced Socialism, Islam and the LGBTQ, kind of sounds like America, doesn’t it? Any nation who embraces those things inevitably will, at some point, turn again the Bible and the people who believe the Book. Don’t think it could happen here? That’s what every people group thinks right before it happens. Use what freedom you have left, Christian, while you still have it to use. That’s the memo.
Police officer warns Prince William’s vicar friend that John 3:16 Bible verse on his van ‘could be considered hate speech
FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: Pastor Mick Fleming has been warned by a police officer that the bible verse on the back of his van ‘could be considered hate speech’. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mick said: ‘I just thought “wow”. I just wondered what people watching this thought.
‘It’s not to argue but where have we moved to as a country where a bit of Christian scripture on the back of a van can be seen as hateful or spiteful? Maybe society is moving to a place where they don’t want faith-based people sat around a table in discussion with them… for me it’s an integral message of how real change is possible.’
The law says it could be considered hate speech if the wording is threatening or inciting hatred based on protected characteristics such as religion or sexual orientation.
Mick insisted that he has no plans to remove it as he asked his viewers to give their opinions on whether the scripture could be deemed as offensive.
He said: ‘I am not going to change it, I am going to leave it one but I thought it quite interesting about how it can be perceived. I have never thought about that being something spiteful or hateful in any shape or form. I wondered what you thought – do you think people would take offence to that, and if they did, why?’
Displaying bible verses publicly is generally lawful in the UK. But the law says it could be considered hate speech if the wording is threatening or inciting hatred based on protected characteristics such as religion or sexual orientation. After recently giving up all of his belongings, Mick now lives in a campervan which has the bible verse John 3:16 printed on the back.
The verse reads: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Now the priest has revealed he was approached by a police officer while at a petrol station in Lancashire, who told him ‘the writing could be seen as hate speech in the wrong context’. Despite being told he wasn’t there to arrest Mick, the officer said that ‘if someone reported it police would investigate, and he could end up in trouble’. READ MORE

REVELATION WARNING: A 51-Foot Idol Of Lord Ram Rises Up Over Mississauga As Canadian Government Calls The Event A ‘Moment Of National Significance’
A 51-foot idol of Lord Ram in North America was unveiled on Sunday at the Hindu Heritage Centre in Mississauga in Canada.
The Bible is quite clear, in the last days after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, Antichrist will come on the scene and he will be a very religious entity. So much so that the people in that dispensation will be having a 7-year revival of Old Testament idolatry. Not content to wait, they are getting the party started a little early. That’s the memo.
“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:” Revelation 9:20 (KJB)
The idol of the Hindu god Ram up in Canada stands at an impressive 51 feet high, but he has company. Down in Texas, a 90-foot idol is up in Sugar Land, a 25-foot idol is up in Hockessin, Delaware, with plans to install a massive 151-foot idol in Moncure, North Carolina. Kinda makes you think that someone has a plan to make idolatry great again here in America, doesn’t it?
North America’s tallest Ram god idol rises in Mississauga Canada
FROM THE HINDUSTAN TIMES: Thousands of devotees gathered for the inauguration, joined by prominent political leaders including Minister of Women and Gender Equality Rechie Valdez, President of the Treasury Board Shafqat Ali, and Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu. Leader of the Opposition in the House of Commons was also in attendance, marking the event as a moment of national significance.

The unveiling of North America’s tallest Lord Ram statue in Mississauga sparked emotional reactions across social media. “From Ayodhya to Ontario, the name of Shri Ram echoes louder than borders. This is not just a statue, it’s a statement of faith and identity standing tall across the world,” wrote one user. Another noted, “Toronto, Canada: The tallest Murti of Bhagwan Shri Ram now stands tall in Mississauga — a proud moment for the global Hindu community In a land where Hindus have faced rising hostility from fringe Khalistani elements, this Murti is more than a symbol of faith — it’s a statement of resilience, peace, and presence. Sanatan stands tall.” Others chimed in with messages like, “Let’s make Canada great again,” and, “Grand and beautiful ❤️.”
“This is a spiritual gift to the community,” said Acharya Surinder Sharma Shastri, founder of the Hindu Heritage Centre. “The installation of this murti is not just a moment of pride, but also a reminder that righteousness must always be the guiding factor in our lives.” The statue’s location has made it an even more iconic symbol for new arrivals to Canada. As Sharma pointed out, planes landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport often fly over the temple. Now, among the first sights to greet passengers will be the majestic figure of Lord Ram — arms outstretched, a towering symbol of peace and resilience. READ MORE
