On This Day In History In 1555, Roman Catholic Pope Paul IV Issued A Papal Decree Forcing The Jews Of Rome Into A Ghetto Like Adolf Hitler Later Did
On July 14th, 1555, the Roman Catholic Pope Paul IV rounded up all the Jews in Rome and forced them into a ghetto is a stunning prefiguring of Adolf Hitler.
On July 14, 1555, Pope Paul IV issued his bull “Cum nimis absurdum,” which subjected the Jews under his dominion to a long list of restrictions and humiliations, most notably the requirement that the Jews of Rome live within a closed area. This became the Rome Ghetto, the mandatory home of the city’s Jews until its abolishment in 1870.
This story is fascinating for a variety of reasons, one especially from a numerical perspective. Today is the 465th anniversary of the day that the Roman Catholic Pope Paul IV issued his infamous papal decree forcing all the Jews of Rome into a ghetto. It is for reasons just like this why we say that the Roman Catholic religion is not Christian, and is not biblical, if it were, the Roman Catholic popes would love the Jews, which clearly they do not. Secondly, let’s take a look at the year 1555.
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” Romans 11:25-27 (KJB)
In the bible, 5 is the number of death. Lucifer was the 5th covering cherub, Jesus had 5 bleeding wounds, David had 5 smooth stones to kill Goliath and his 4 brothers, Adam lost his 5th rib to create Eve, and the list goes on and on. But to have a year with triple 5’s and a Roman Catholic pope like Pope Paul IV ordering Jews into a ghetto, that is prophetic. God warned the Jews that, because of their disobedience to Him, they would be “scattered to the four corners” of the world and be trodden down of their enemies. God told them they would be hunted down as the prophet Jeremiah warned.
“Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks. For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.” Jeremiah 16:16,17 (KJB)
The Jewish people have no bigger enemy than any Roman pope over the last 1,700 years. Pope Paul IV, in a stunning prefiguring of Adolf Hitler, rounded up the Jews and forced them into ghettos. And speaking of Hitler, he was a ‘triple 5’ man as well, take a look.

1555: Roman Catholic Pope Paul IV Orders Jews to Live in a Ghetto
FROM HAARETZ: Pope Paul IV (1476-1559) was an unusually rigid and intolerant pontiff. He had been the leading figure in the establishment of a Roman Inquisition in 1542 (the papal bull that created the Inquisition stated, “Even if my own father were a heretic, I would gather the wood to burn him”), and had overseen the burning of the Talmud in Rome in 1553.
Less than two months after his ascent to the papacy on May 23, 1555, he issued “Cum nimis absurbum” – meaning literally, “Because it is completely senseless ” After those opening words, the proclamation continues: “and inappropriate to be in a situation where Christian piety allows the Jews (whose guilt — all of their own doing — has condemned them to eternal slavery) access to our society and even to live among us” before laying a long and detailed list of restrictions on Jewish life.
The first in the list of rules was one requiring all Jews in any given town to live in a single district, which was to be enclosed with a wall, and locked at night. The Jews were not allowed to own any property in the ghetto, and were permitted to have but a single synagogue for prayer. Any others that existed at the time of the promulgation of the bull were to be destroyed. Jews were obligated to identify themselves with a yellow head-covering. Professionally, they were limited to the rag trade, unless they were trained physicians, in which case they were forbidden from tending to Christians. They were also prohibited from working on Sundays or on Christian feast days, among other restrictions.
The Roman Ghetto was established on the banks of the Tiber river, one of the least desirable sections of the city, if only because of its tendency to flood when the river’s waters rose. The Jews, who had their own dialect, called Giudeo-romanesco, had to finance its construction, which was designed by architect Giovanni Sallustio Peruzzi. Initially, it could be entered or departed by only two gates, although by the time the walls were demolished, in the 19th century, that number had increased to eight. Since the area of the ghetto could not expand, the only way to add living space was to build up, to as high as seven stories. This helped to block the sun, making the ghetto a dark space.
On the positive side, Christian landlords could not evict their Jewish tenants, nor could they raise rents. At the same time, the Jews were required to go through an annual ritual by which they requested permission to reside in the ghetto, a privilege for which they also had to pay a tax. Before that procedure was instituted, the Jews had to participate as performers in an annual carnival of humiliation.
The abolishment of the Roman Ghetto took place over a period of nearly a century, beginning with the brief period in 1798-99 when the Papal States were overtaken by the Italian Republic. Again in the mid-1800s, there was a period when Jews were permitted to live outside the ghetto, but this too was temporary. Finally, in 1882, 12 years after the final abolition of the Papal States, the ghetto, the last remaining one in Europe, was formally abolished and its walls torn down. READ MORE

The Roman Ghetto was established as a result of Papal bull Cum nimis absurdum, promulgated by Pope Paul IV on 14 July 1555. The bull also required the Jews of Rome, which had existed as a community since before Christian times and which numbered about 2,000 at the time, to live in the ghetto. The ghetto was a walled quarter with three gates that were locked at night. The wall was built under the direction of the architect Giovanni Sallustio Peruzzi. The money for its construction — 300 scudi — had to be paid by the Jewish community. The area of Rome chosen for the ghetto was the most undesirable quarter of the city, subject to constant flooding by the Tiber River. At the time of its founding, the four-block area was expected to contain roughly 1,000 inhabitants.

Recent Bigfoot Sightings In Ohio Leave Residents ‘Shaking In Fear’ As At Least Seven Appearances Of This Controversial Creature Reported To Police
Numerous reported sightings of the hairy Bigfoot beasts — which are said to be up to 10 feet tall — have been reported in Ohio, leaving believers on edge.
Every few years the legend of Bigfoot rises up out of the American woods like a ghost story that refuses to die, and this week the spotlight has landed on rural Ohio. Residents in Portage County say they have seen massive, hairy creatures moving through wooded areas at night, and at least one homeowner reported their dog trembling in fear after something large entered the backyard. Whether you believe it or not, stories like this never quite go away. But the interesting part is not the creature itself — it’s the endless fascination people have with mysterious beings hiding in the shadows. And for good reason, there’s lots of stuff lurking in those shadows.

The modern world prides itself on science, technology and skepticism, yet millions remain captivated by tales of cryptids like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, or mysterious “forest people.” Why? Because deep down people sense there is more to this world than what can be measured in a laboratory. The Bible tells us plainly that the unseen world is real. While people are scanning the tree line looking for Sasquatch, the far greater reality unfolding around us is the rapid approach of the end times. The world is racing toward a moment when deception will reach levels never seen before. The Bible warns that the coming Antichrist will operate through signs and wonders powerful enough to deceive the entire world. Personally, I do not know if Bigfoot is real or a psyop, but I know this. We are living in a world right now that is spiraling out of control so quickly that Bigfoot would be the least of our problems.
Bigfoot sightings light up the gloomiest corner of Ohio — residents report dogs are ‘shaking in fear’
FROM THE NY POST: At least seven Bigfoot sightings have been reported across northeast Ohio since Friday, according to the minds at the Bigfoot Society, with most of the encounters coming between Akron and Youngstown in Portage County. Some are even suspecting an entire family of Sasquatches could be migrating through the region.
One of the latest alleged incidents happened Monday evening in Streetsboro, with the witness insisting she hadn’t seen any of the other reports of the sightings.
“They were passing the Tinkers Creek area when a 6-and-a-half-foot lean, brown bigfoot appeared in their lane but going against the flow of traffic,” the Bigfoot Society’s Jeremiah Byron said. “They were so close that the witness said that her daughter could have reached out and hit the Bigfoot with her arm.”
“She was so freaked out she couldn’t turn around and go back — she is not a Bigfoot person,” Byron added.
Surprising no one, perhaps, none of the Bigfoot spotters have managed to snap a photo — despite the ubiquity of high-resolution cameras on modern smartphones. And no reports have been made with local police, either, according to the Canton Repository.
“Who would have known that cell phone cameras don’t exist in North East Ohio?” one person quipped on X in response to the Bigfoot Society’s post.
The sightings appeared to be progressing eastward — leading the Bigfoot Society to posit a “Green Highway” theory that a family of cryptids was migrating through the area.
“Based on these coordinates, the subjects appear to be using the Headwaters Trail greenbelt as a primary travel corridor,” the group said in an X post. “The variation in height (6ft to 10ft) and color (brown to black) suggests we are not tracking a single individual, but potentially a family group or multiple subjects migrating eastward.”
The first sighting came Friday when somebody claimed to see a 9-foot-tall beast in broad daylight before it ran off after being spotted, then Saturday an 8-foot creature was grunting in a wooded area around 11 p.m. — with a footprint reportedly being found.
Then there were four more sightings over the following days through Tuesday morning, one of which left somebody’s German shepherd “visibly shaking with fear” after encountering the alleged beast in a backyard, witnesses said. Others, however, thought that even if these beasts were real, they wouldn’t be around for long — given the rough reputation of northeast Ohio. “That boy is not going to make it past Youngstown,” one person said. As the war between the United States and Iran intensifies, one of the most important energy choke points on the planet is rapidly turning into a battlefield.

Oil prices surge above $100 per barrel after six ships attacked in Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz
FROM THE NY POST: The two most recent attacks, apparently carried out by explosive-laden boats, hit the tankers Safesea Vishnu and Zefyros in Iraqi waters, killing at least one crew member and setting the vessels ablaze. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the attacks, releasing a video of the burning Safesea Vishnu in which a man can be heard shouting: “Allah is the greatest! The destruction of an American tanker in the northern district of the Persian Gulf! I obey you Khamenei! Hail be the Islamic Republic of Iran! Soldiers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy!”
“Expect oil at $200 per barrel,” a spokesperson said in a statement Wednesday aimed at the US. “The price of oil depends on regional security, and you are the main source of insecurity in the region.”
The latest attacks followed projectile strikes on four ships in the Strait of Hormuz since Wednesday and caused Brent crude futures to jump past the century mark before falling back to around $96.50 per barrel as of 7 a.m. ET. The attacks came hours after President Trump ordered the release of 172 million barrels of oil from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve in an effort to bring down gas prices that have surged by an average of 60 cents per gallon nationwide since America and Israel began joint attacks on Iran Feb. 28.

The Bridgeport Correctional Center In Connecticut Processes Thousands Of Inmates Each Year And Their Goal Is A Bible For Every Prisoner Who Wants One
Thousands of inmates are processed and sent out through the Bridgeport Correctional Center each year, and they need a Bible to take with them as they go
The Bridgeport Correctional Center in Connecticut is a high-security facility located at 1106 North Ave Bridgeport, CT 06604, managing a diverse and predominantly pre-trial population. It serves as a central urban jail for the state, offering various rehabilitation, education, and vocational programs designed to assist in inmate reintegration. Today, Chaplain Steve has told us of their need for as many Bibles as we can provide, and I would love for us to be able to help him.
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” Isaiah 61:1 (KJB)
Chaplain Steve writes “We are a large county jail with 1000s of individuals passing through our gates every year. some stay a long time, while others move on more quickly. We want to be able to give bibles to all inmates who request them, but we are currently having trouble keeping up with the demand. I see that the bible we give out are appreciated by the inmates.” Every day we receive multiple requests for free Bibles from individuals both locally and globally. Each week, we receive multiple requests for Bibles from chaplains who minister in the jails and prisons across America. Just this morning we finalized a request for 500 Bibles sent to a Georgia jail, and received a new request from the Bridgeport Correctional Center in Connecticut. Oftentimes new requests will come in while I am writing one of these articles, it’s honestly overwhelming but in a good way. Christian, God has given us an amazing open door in these closing moments of the Church Age to give out as many Bibles and devotional books as we possibly can, and it’s exciting. Prisoners are getting saved in the thousands, and being set free in Jesus Christ. There is much work to be done, come help us to do it!!
