When it comes to #MeToo sexual misconduct issues, former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democratic Party’s presumptive 2020 presidential nominee, has made it no secret where he stands: automatically believe women.

Democratic candidate Joe Biden is looking to secure his party’s nomination for president over the next few months, and recently Joe Biden has made the statement that he “believes all women” who come forward with claims of sexual assault. Now one of his former Senate staffers, Tara Reade, has come forward with the heart-rending story of how she says Joe Biden sexually assaulted her when she worked for him in 1993. Since Joe Biden ‘believes all women’, how will he now treat Tara Reade?

As you might imagine, the fake news mainstream media who are all in for Joe Biden in 2020 are not touching this story. Yes, the same fake news media who couldn’t get enough of the false accusations against Brett Kavanaugh in 2018, now won’t even report Tara Reade’s claims against the Democratic frontrunner. Tara Reade deserves to be heard in the same public forum that Joe Biden is being heard as he makes his case to become the Democratic nominee.

Joe Biden Said He Believes All Women. Does He Believe Tara Reade Who Says He Sexually Assaulted Her?

FROM REASON: “For a woman to come forward in the glaring lights of focus, nationally, you’ve got to start off with the presumption that at least the essence of what she’s talking about is real,” said Joe Biden during the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who faced accusations that as a teenager he had assaulted a woman at a party.

As vice president, Biden played an important role in the Obama administration’s efforts to compel colleges and universities to take sexual violence more seriously—and to adopt policies that limited the due process rights and presumption of innocence for the accused. In recent years, his rhetoric on these issues has been in lockstep with #MeToo activists.

Despite his public pronunciations on the subject of never touching women without their explicit verbal consent, Joe Biden has previously faced accusations that he was too handsy with people. But now the former vice president is facing a much more serious accusation of sexual assault, from an alleged former staffer named Tara Reade.

It remains to be seen whether the mainstream media will assign Reade’s story as much credibility and importance as that of Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who accused Kavanaugh; they certainly have not done so yet. In any case, supporters of Biden—as well as the candidate himself—should take this opportunity to reflect on whether automatic belief is a useful or practical approach for handling decades’ old claims of misconduct.

Tara Reade describes herself as a “California-based victim rights advocate and activist” in her interview with the journalist Katie Halper, who has helped bring this accusation to light. Reade says she worked for Biden in the early 1990s and asserts that she was unambiguously assaulted by him in 1993. According to Reade, he began kissing her without her permission, pushed her against a wall, reached under her skirt, and penetrated her with his fingers.

“He said ‘come on man, I heard you liked me,'” Reade recalled to Halper in the interview. “For me, it was like, everything shattered. I looked up to him, he was like my father’s age, he was this champion of women’s rights, in my eyes. I couldn’t believe it was happening. It was surreal.”

Reade had already complained to her bosses about sexual harassment in Biden’s office—she said a supervisor had once asked her to serve drinks at an event because she had attractive legs—but had shared the more serious accusation against Biden with a few close confidants. She said she once tried to talk to a supervisor about what had happened, but this person shut her down before she could tell the whole story. She also said she filled out an official form detailing her assault, but does not know what became of it.

A year ago, Reade—who supported the campaigns of Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D–Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I–Vt.)—attempted to come forward with stories of sexual harassment in Biden’s offices. As detailed in an Intercept piece, she reached out to Time’s Up, a project of the National Women’s Law Center that provides support to alleged #MeToo victims. Time’s Up declined to assist Reade; the organization’s official excuse was that a feud with a national political candidate could jeopardize their status as a 501(c)(3) non-partisan group. But as The Intercept also notes:

The public relations firm that works on behalf of the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund is SKDKnickerbocker, whose managing director, Anita Dunn, is the top adviser to Biden’s presidential campaign. A spokesperson for Biden declined to comment. The SKDK spokesperson assigned to Time’s Up referred questions back to the NWLC.

The mainstream media has given Reade little attention.

She was interviewed on Hill.TV by Krystall Ball and Saagar Enjeti (whose populist impulses often put them at odds with the establishments of both parties), but The New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN have all declined to cover the story thus far.

The anti-Biden left, however, has seized the opportunity. #IBelieveTaraReade was trending on Twitter on Thursday. Nathan Robinson, editor of the leftist publication Current Affairs, has criticized MSNBC and CNN for failing to cover the story.

Sanders supporters, of course, have every incentive to weaponize this last-minute accusation against Biden in an attempt to deny him the nomination. And Biden fans have every reason to roll their eyes at these attempts; they can write off Reade as someone who, at the very least, waited too long to tell her story, and was a supporter of rival campaigns.

Both sides have a point. Barring the emergence of some really credible documentation, it’s going to be nearly impossible to informally adjudicate—formal adjudication being absolutely impossible—the accusation. Too much time has passed.

On the other hand, the very recent precedent set by the mainstream media and mainstream liberals during the Kavanaugh episode is that all accusations should be revisited, no matter how old. Indeed, one could make a better argument for considering Reade’s accusation than Blasey Ford’s: the latter concerns behavior that occurred during the accused person’s teenage years in the early 1980s, whereas Biden allegedly committed his transgression while a sitting U.S. senator. And again, Biden himself has taken the position that we should believe women even if it takes them a very, very long time to come forward.

It seems unlikely the Reade accusation can sink Biden’s candidacy, but whether Democratic primary voters and the mainstream media are willing to air it out as they did Kavanaugh’s will tell us a lot about what “believe all women” actually means. READ MORE

I told him we didn’t have a free Bible program, to which he said “now you do!”. And so we did. Today I come to you all with the incredible news that we have now gone past 1,000,000 pieces of King James Bible literature sent out completely for free to the people and institutions who recieve them. To all of you who support this outreach, thank you beyond words. This is a massive undertaking and we need each and every one of you.

NTEB owns no real estate, owns no property of any kind, and has exactly zero dollars invested in any of the markets or crypto. Bibles Behind Bars continues to grow at a rate where, at times, requests for Bibles and literature begins to outpace available money in the bank, but we send them anyway and trust the Lord to make up the difference. Along the way, testimonies of people getting saved, thousands of them, began to pour in. The LORD has piled so much fruit on our collective plates that sometimes it seems like a wonderful dream, and I so very much look forward to the “rest of the story” when we get to the Judgment Seat of Christ. Time would fail me to tell you about the hundreds of emails we have gotten from prison chaplains and jail workers who, finding no one to help them anywhere else, are stunned to find they can come to us and get all the Bibles and books they need. No questions asked, for free. To date, we have never said no to any request no matter how large the facility. All the way from southern Florida up to Alaska off the Russian border, and every other state in-between. That’s how wide the open door the LORD gave us goes.

Christian, we are living in the end times, and those times are about to get a whole lot rougher. But as good soldiers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have been tasked with a mission to send out God’s preserved word as far and wide as we are able to send it. OPERATION DRAGON COVENANT: Army Planners Estimate Capacity To Temporarily Bury 2,400 Fallen Troops A Day As Washington Weighs Renewed Military Attacks Against Iran

All across Europe, governments are telling their citizens to prepare for emergencies that could interrupt the services modern life depends upon. Britain’s October 22 preparedness campaign urges households to plan for disruption to electricity, water, phones and the internet. Sweden’s 2024 “In Case of Crisis or War” brochure explicitly addresses the possibility of armed attack and households surviving a week without outside assistance. The European Union’s 2025 preparedness strategy brings civilian and military readiness together, including emergency stockpiles, joint exercises and at least 72 hours of household self-sufficiency. Taken together, these measures reveal a serious planning assumption that the systems people rely upon could become overwhelmed, disrupted or unavailable. In America, the US Army has launched Operation Dragon Covenant to train soldiers on the most efficient way to bury the bodies of thousands of dead soldiers at a time. Is anyone starting to see a theme here?

At Fort Bragg, Operation Dragon Covenant brought together engineers, fatality management specialists, preventive medicine personnel and chaplains to test large-scale temporary battlefield interment. The Army describes standard plots holding 100 remains in five trenches. Based on excavation times, planners estimated that an engineer company equipped with eight bulldozers and four military excavators could prepare and close trenches for up to 2,400 remains in 24 hours of continuous operations. That figure measures estimated burial capacity; behind it lies the grim possibility of a battlefield where the dead cannot be promptly evacuated. The Army says it has not executed temporary battlefield interment at scale since the Korean War. Consider the human reality behind those calculations: fallen service members awaiting recovery, families awaiting answers, and combat conditions severe enough to interrupt the journey home. The soldiers developing these procedures are confronting consequences that every political leader contemplating escalation right now should be made to explain.

According to the Associated Press, American officials have warned regional allies to prepare for possible military action after the November 3 elections and Iranian retaliation against energy facilities and other critical infrastructure. Those warnings describe how another offensive could reach beyond the targets of the opening strikes and disrupt the systems that sustain civilian life. The much broader picture is that governments are increasingly preparing for conditions in which both civilian services and military support systems come under extraordinary strain. Households are being asked to build reserves; Army engineers are testing burial trenches. The public deserves a clear explanation of the risks driving those preparations. Before Washington launches another offensive, Americans should demand specific objectives, an accounting of the potential human cost, and an explanation of how leaders intend to prevent the next escalation from becoming a much larger war.

Two Weeks After We Shipped King James Bibles To Atascadero State Hospital, A Chaplain’s Beautiful Testimony Shows What Happened When The Boxes Were Opened

There are places in our society intentionally built for maximum separation, spaces where razor wire, heavy steel doors, and strict security protocols define daily life. The California Department of State Hospitals Atascadero is one of those places. As a maximum-security forensic psychiatric facility, it houses men who are navigating both profound psychological crises and complex legal paths. To the world, it is an institutional fortress. But to a ministry like Bibles Behind Bars, it represents a profound mission field. You are really going to enjoy what the chaplain there told us today about the impact the Bibles we send there have on the inmates.

We sent a shipment of Bibles to them about two weeks ago, and today I read this from Chaplain Anderson – “Thank you very much for the large print, King James bibles you sent to us. As I walked down the hallway with the warehouse cart full of beautiful bibles, patients stopped me many times and asked for a bible. As I walked, and gave out many bibles, I looked back and saw men stopped in the hallway, leaned up against the wall and each one began to read and devour their brand-new King James bible! The forensics maximum security state hospital for the criminally insane was instantly filled with peace. My heart was filled with a deep sense of awe and gratitude at the kindness and mercy of Jesus Christ.
