THE GATHERING STORM: Israel On High Alert As President Trump Formally Pulls The United States Out Of Obama’s Phony Iranian Nuclear Treaty

Speaking in the Diplomatic Room of the White House, Trump said: “I am announcing today the United States will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal.” Trump’s announcement will start a 90-day countdown to the restoration of sanctions. Once sanctions are re-imposed, the U.S. effectively would be out of the deal.

President Trump on Tuesday announced plans to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal, saying it has failed to halt the country’s nuclear ambitions. Speaking in the Diplomatic Room of the White House, Trump said: “I am announcing today the United States will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: Proving once again that his campaign promises were not simply empty talk, President Trump in one fell swoop cut the cord on Obama’s treasonous Iran Nuclear Treaty and officially announced that the United States would immediately withdraw from this phony treaty. Not only that, President Trump has also said that hard-hitting sanctions would be instituted as soon as possible. And the crazy, end times events we have telling you since 2016 would take place during the 70th anniversary week of Israel’s regathering continue to unfold right on target. Are you ready for what comes next?

Trump’s announcement will start a 90-day countdown to the restoration of sanctions. Once sanctions are re-imposed, the U.S. effectively would be out of the deal.

It’s not clear which sanctions lifted under the deal Trump plans to immediately re-impose. He has several options. A more limited move could leave Trump more room to potentially stay in the deal if other members agree to toughen it.

If he follows through on a sweeping imposition of sanctions, the move threatens to topple the Iran nuclear agreement as a whole – and with it, his predecessor’s signature foreign policy achievement.

The president began briefing foreign and congressional leaders on his decision ahead of his 2 p.m. announcement. And he started the day by warning former Secretary of State John Kerry not to meddle in the negotiations.

“John Kerry can’t get over the fact that he had his chance and blew it! Stay away from negotiations John, you are hurting your country!” Trump tweeted early Tuesday.

This was a reference to reports that Kerry was meeting with foreign officials in a bid to salvage the pact. Speaking at a summit Tuesday in Italy, Kerry did not back down, saying the Middle East is “safer with this agreement” and framing this juncture as a choice between peace and war.

Trump’s announcement comes ahead of a May 12 deadline to make a decision on sanctions.

It follows efforts by European allies to convince Trump to keep the deal, even with changes. But Trump reportedly was unconvinced. Since the 2016 presidential campaign, he has railed against the agreement and its Obama administration negotiators.

The 2015 pact lifted most U.S. and international sanctions against the country, in exchange for Iran agreeing to restrictions on its nuclear program making it impossible to produce a bomb, along with rigorous inspections – terms generally set for 10-15 years.

But Israel, Gulf Arab states and many congressional Republicans said the deal was a giveaway to Tehran that ultimately paves the path to a nuclear-armed Iran several years in the future.

“Perhaps the nuclear deal’s most unforgivable flaw is that its original architects chose to stand with and empower Iran’s mullahs over the Iranian people, whose opposition to their corrupt and criminal government continues to grow,” Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., wrote in a Fox News op-ed urging Trump to abandon the pact and ratchet up sanctions.

But Trump’s decision could lead to retaliation from Iran in the near-term. If the deal collapses, Iran could resume prohibited enrichment activities, while businesses and banks doing business with Iran would have to scramble to extricate themselves or run afoul of the U.S.

While Trump himself was tight-lipped about his decision in the run-up to the announcement, Iranian officials also were left guessing.

In Tehran, President Hassan Rouhani sought to calm nerves. “It is possible that we will face some problems for two or three months, but we will pass through this,” Rouhani said. Rouhani earlier warned of “grave” consequences if Trump pulled back on the agreement.

Obama foreign policy adviser Ben Rhodes, who played a key role in the deal, also tweeted that “Trump is blowing that up with no understanding of what’s actually in the Deal, no plan for what comes next, and no support from our closest European allies, Russia or China.”

A factor leading to Tuesday’s decision may have been Israel’s public lobbying. A week ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appealed to the U.S. president by making explosive allegations that new evidence proved Tehran had lied about its nuclear program and adherence to the pact.

But even Trump’s secretary of state and the U.N. agency that monitors nuclear compliance have agreed that Iran, so far, has lived up to its side of the deal. source

Israel declares high alert over Iranian actions in Syria

Israel has instructed local authorities in the Israeli-held Golan Heights to “unlock and ready (bomb) shelters” after identifying what the military described as “irregular activity of Iranian forces in Syria”.

The military statement further said that its defense systems had been deployed “and IDF (Israel Defence Force) troops are on high alert for an attack”. source

This is not just another headline in a collapsing age. This is a prophetic snapshot of the Roman spirit of empire rising in the modern West. America is not named in Daniel as the final empire, but America has carried the Roman spirit across the modern world. It has exported Roman-style law, military order, global dominance, civic religion, political symbolism, mass entertainment, and imperial power under the banner of freedom and democracy. America calls itself a republic, but it increasingly behaves like an empire. That was Rome’s path as well. First the republic, then the strong men, then the spectacle, then the empire. And finally, the inevitable collapse of all of it. The White House lawn has become the arena, and that old Roman spirit is speaking once again. Here at our 250th anniversary, our republic is fading, the spectacle is rising, the Beast system is forming. And the final empire of Antichrist is preparing for its last act before the King of kings returns to break it in pieces and set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. Day 100 Of World War Trump Arrives With Iran Still Burning, Israel Still Bracing And America Still Pretending That Endless War Is The Pathway To Peace

Day 100 of World War Trump in Iran has now arrived, and with it comes the bitter reminder that when powerful men tell you a war is “over” on the first day, what they usually mean is that the truth has only just begun to bleed. Donald Trump said it was over. Pete Hegseth said it was controlled. The press briefings were polished, the victory language was prepackaged, and the machinery of empire assured the American people that this would be another clean, decisive, made-for-television strike. One day. One blow. One triumph. Then back to business. But here we are on Day 100. Trump says that “he’s calling the shots”, but he clearly is not driving the wartime narrative. Iran is.

On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, what began as another “limited action” has become another senseless US Middle East war with no clean exit, no honest accounting, and no shortage of official excuses from the Trump administration. The same people who promised us control now speak in carefully managed phrases, parsed and nuanced for mass MAGA consumption. The same administration that claimed victory at the start is still struggling to manage escalation three and a half months later. The “finished” war is still producing devastating consequences. The ‘victory lap’ has soured and turned into the long march through the endless fog of war. And Hegseth? He is learning what every polished wartime spokesman eventually learns: wars don’t obey press releases, and missiles do not care about slogans. Iran does not vanish because someone on television says that America is in control. The Strait of Hormuz does not calm down and reopen because a cabinet official issues forth with boastful braggadocio from behind a microphone. God has a way of humiliating the pride of the rulers of this world. Welcome to Day 100 of World War Trump!

‘America First’ Fractures As House Congressional Republicans Join Democrats To Rebuke Trump Over His Unauthorized Iran War

The House vote to rebuke Trump over the Iran war is not merely a “symbolic” slap on the wrist — it is a warning flare from deep inside his own political camp. When Republican leadership has to argue that Congress exercising its constitutional war powers would “weaken the president’s hand,” what they are really admitting is that Trump’s hand is already weak. The resolution passed 215–208, with four Republicans joining Democrats to demand that Trump seek congressional authorization or withdraw from military action in Iran. That does not mean the entire Republican Party has abandoned him, but it absolutely means the old automatic loyalty is cracking. The vote came after earlier failed attempts, making this one politically significant because enough Republicans finally broke away to put it over the top. What makes this so damaging is the contradiction at the heart of Trump’s political brand. He ran as the man who would end endless wars, drain the swamp, confront the foreign policy establishment, and put America First. Yet here he is, presiding over another Middle East war, with Congress now having to drag the White House back toward the Constitution. That is not strength. That is the very Washington war machine Trump once promised to defeat.

These GOP defectors are not simply siding with Democrats. They are exposing a fault line inside the MAGA movement itself. Is “America First” a real doctrine, or just campaign-stage decoration that gets tossed aside the moment the drums of war start beating? If Trump can wage war with Iran without clear congressional authorization, then the constitutional conservative argument collapses into personality worship. Republican leaders claim this vote weakens Trump in negotiations with Iran. No — the war weakened him. The rising costs weakened him. The lack of a clean exit weakened him. The failure to secure a durable settlement weakened him. Congress did not create the weakness; Congress exposed it.

The House resolution was opposed by Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and most Republicans, who complained that it undermines Trump and his top negotiators when they are trying to secure a nuclear deal with Iran. Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast, R-Fla., called Wednesday’s action “just a total BS vote.” source

The House vote is a public rebuke of a president whose own party is beginning to realize that bravado is not strategy, escalation is not victory, and loyalty to Trump is not the same thing as loyalty to the US Constitution. For years, Republicans warned about unchecked executive power — until that power belonged to their man. Now, with American forces entangled in Iran and the War Powers clock already blown past, a few Republicans are finally remembering that Congress, not the president, has the authority to declare war. This is even bigger than a Capitol Hill fight. America is being pulled deeper into the Middle East firestorm while its leaders pretend they are in control. They are not. Iran, Israel, the Gulf, oil prices, military escalation, congressional rebellion — all of it points to a superpower strained, divided, and spiritually blind while the voice of the prophets grows louder by the day.
