HOLY STAIRS: Just In Time For Easter, The Vatican Rolls Out Another Idol In Rome For The Catholic Faithful To Worship On Their Knees

The 28 steps that make up the “Scala Sancta,” or Holy Stairs, of the Pontifical Shrine in Rome were unveiled on Thursday, just in time for the thousands of people who will flock to Rome and the Vatican for Easter.

After more than a year of restoration, the 28 steps that make up the “Scala Sancta,” or Holy Stairs, of the Pontifical Shrine in Rome were unveiled on Thursday, just in time for the thousands of people who will flock to Rome and the Vatican for Easter.

The Roman harlot loves to get their followers eyes off of Jesus Christ and onto idols and relics, this is the modus operandi of the Catholic Church. Why do they do this? Because they must be true to their pagan Babylonian roots. The Roman empire when it was a political kingdom had a seemingly endless array of statues, relics and other “aids to worship” for the Roman people. The current Roman empire known as the Vatican City State is happily continuing that long-standing tradition. And like most Roman Catholic ‘traditions’, the ‘holy stairs’ are just a figment of the ever-active imagination of the Vatican.

“The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.” Acts 4:26-28 (KJV)

The bible mentions nothing about any ‘stairs’ being in a ‘palace’ belonging to Pontius Pilate, but the bible does put Pilate and Herod together in the same place at the same time. So it is highly likely that Pilate judged Jesus in Herod’s Palace, which was discovered in a 1999 archaeological dig in Jerusalem. These phony ‘holy stairs’ in Rome are just another attempt to get you to believe that Rome is the holy land instead of Jerusalem where God has placed His Name. Don’t you believe it for a second. Rome was always the enemy in the bible, killer of all Christians in the first century AD.

So if you want to go to Rome and view the gorgeous architecture of the Roman Vatican, feel free to do so. It is among some of the most beautiful in the world. But nothing in the Vatican has anything to do with the bible unless you want to count Revelation 17 and 18.

FROM ABC NEWS: The steps were believed to be part of Pontius Pilate’s palace in Jerusalem and are the same steps Jesus climbed before being tried by the Roman governor and sentenced to crucifixion.

It is believed that Emperor Constantine’s mother, St. Helena, brought the steps from Jerusalem to Rome in the fourth century once Christianity became the Roman Empire’s main religion. They are now housed in a building that contains part of the old papal Lateran Palace, across from the Basilica of St. John the Lateran in Rome.

Since the Middle Ages, when pilgrims started flocking to Rome to pray in churches and venerate relics, millions of faithful have made the traditional penitential ascent up the stairs on their knees as they pray and meditate on Christ’s passion.

The stairs had not been seen without their wooden protection in almost 300 years. “The newly restored frescoes help the faithful connect with the Holy history,” Father Francesco Guerra said.

CATHOLICS WHO WANT TO CLIMB THE ‘HOLY STAIRS’ MUST DO SO ON THEIR KNEES

For the next two months, until Pentecost, pilgrims will be able to ascend the bare marble Holy Stairs on their knees — since 1723, they had been encased in walnut wood for protection.

Before Thursday’s unveiling ceremony, the Vatican Museum restorers described how moving it was to uncover the original stairs, which contain three small bronze crosses embedded in the marble and spots believed to be stained by Jesus’ blood.

The restorers also found large furrows running along each step, which they deduced were caused by the toes of pilgrims’ shoes as they knelt and rose to move up to the next step over the course of centuries.

Along with the strata of dust and dirt, piles of notes, photos, coins and votive offerings were uncovered since the stairs’ last cleaning in the 1950s. Pilgrims had shoved them under the wooden casing as they knelt.

The restoration of the entire sanctuary, not just the stairs, started six years ago and should be completed by summer 2020. Over 18,000 square feet of dingy-looking frescoes that decorate the stairs and the chapels in the building were carefully cleaned of grime to reveal them in their original splendor. Restorers uncovered stories of devotion in the ancient graffiti they found on the frescoes, like the slave who came to give thanks for being free of his Turkish master.

After Italian Cardinal Angelo De Donatis, vicar general of Rome, blessed the newly unveiled steps, a throng of faithful pushed forward to kneel and kiss the first step. Others were handed plastic shoe-covers to protect the marble and be the first to start the ascent on their knees. READ MORE

Back in 2010, author Ian Bremmer warned “We are no longer in a global, free-market economy. There are now two systems out there. There is a free-market system, largely in the developed world. There is a state-directed capitalist system in China, Russia and the Persian Gulf. The systems are mutually incompatible. When your principal actors are multinational corporations in the private sector and they rely for their growth on unfettered access to global markets, and state capitalist systems don’t do that, you are going to have a problem. And we are just at the beginning of that problem.” Here in 2026, that is starting to look like a prophecy that is now being fulfilled under Donald Trump with the rise of state-directed capitalism, the antithesis of America First. That warning shot to Trump’s ear back in 2024 at the rally in Butler, PA, is now paying big dividends for the Deep State.

State-directed capitalism is ripped straight out of the Council on Foreign Relations playbook going back as far as 2016 when Trump first became president. The global economic model is shifting under our feet. The same state-capitalist machinery once associated with China and Russia is now being repackaged in America with patriotic language and labeled as ‘America First’. World War Trump Lit The Fuse In Iran But Tehran’s Defiant Refusal To Surrender Its Enriched Uranium Shows He Cannot Control The Coming Explosion

President Trump may have launched this war believing that overwhelming military force, diplomatic pressure, and Israeli coordination would bend Iran to Washington’s will. But today’s Reuters report shows something far more sobering. World War Trump, I’m sorry, Operation Epic Fury, has already moved beyond Trump’s control. As we have long told you, beneath the braggidocio and bluster from the Department of War, no one in the Trump administration seems to have any understanding at all of the Islamic mindset. Someone please tell the president that the only way this ends is with a ‘boots on the ground’ military intevention, and going in and taking the enriched uranium ourselves. That’s it, and Thank for your attention in this matter!

Iran’s Supreme Leader has reportedly ordered that Iran’s enriched uranium must remain inside Iran, rejecting a central U.S. demand that the stockpile be removed from the country as part of any ceasefire or nuclear settlement. That is not negotiation, that is open defiance. Reuters reported the directive was confirmed by two senior Iranian officials, and markets immediately reacted, with oil spiking and U.S. stock futures falling on fears the conflict could escalate further. And there it is. Trump started the fire, but he certainly doesn’t own the flames. Trump can order strikes, and he can issue threats. He can stand behind podiums and announce ultimatums. He can say what Iran “must” do, what Israel “requires,” and what America “will not allow.” But the moment the missiles fly, the war becomes a living thing — fed by nationalism, religion, retaliation, oil markets, terror proxies, wounded pride, military calculations, and spiritual darkness. No president controls all of that, and now, it’s out of control.

This is the great delusion of modern American power: that Washington can bomb its way into obedience, threaten its way into peace, and sanction its way into surrender. But Iran is not responding like a defeated regime. Iran is responding like a regime that believes time, geography, fanaticism, and escalation are on its side. And you know what? It is. Trump demanded the uranium leave Iran,and Iran answered. They said “no”. That single word exposes the whole fantasy. Because if Trump cannot force Iran to surrender its enriched uranium after launching a war to stop Iran’s nuclear program, then what exactly has the war accomplished? If Iran keeps the stockpile, keeps the infrastructure hidden or hardened, keeps the ideology burning, and keeps the Strait of Hormuz hanging over the world economy like a sword, then Trump is not dictating the outcome — he is reacting to it.

This war was sold as strength, but strength without control becomes chaos. Strength without a clean endgame becomes a trap. Strength without wisdom becomes exactly what the Bible says it is, the arm of flesh. Iran’s defiance also reveals how little leverage Trump truly has. If he escalates, oil prices can explode, American forces across the region become targets, Israel is pulled deeper into a widening war, and global markets start pricing in a Middle East firestorm. If he backs down, Iran claims victory and keeps the very uranium Washington demanded be removed. If he negotiates, Tehran stalls. If he bombs again, Tehran retaliates. Every door opens into another room of consequences.

The Supreme Leader is not merely defying Trump personally. He is defying the entire premise of the war. The premise was that force would compel Iran to give up the key nuclear leverage it has spent decades building. Instead, Iran is now publicly hardening its red line while the world watches Trump discover that starting a war is far easier than ending one. From a prophetic perspective, this is exactly the type of Middle East madness we have warned about for years. The kings and rulers of the earth imagine themselves to be moving the pieces, but the board is bigger than they are. Iran, Israel, America, oil, nuclear weapons, Islamic ideology, military alliances, and global panic are all converging in a region God has placed at the center of end-times events. Trump may have started the war, but as you can clearly see, he is absolutely not the author of it’s ending.
