We’re been raising support to send King James Bibles and books out to nearly a dozen different jails and prisons stretching all the way from Florida to Alaska.

Did you know that Jesus started His earthly ministry on Isaiah 61:6, where it talks about proclaiming liberty to the captives? Paul picks that up in the New Testament to tell us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Sending a prisoner a Bible does not directly affect their prison sentence, but it does effect a mighty spiritual change by giving them the gospel of Jesus Christ that works salvation unto liberty. A prisoner locked behind bars, but saved by the blood, is a free person. Think about that.

For a few weeks now, we’ve been raising support to send King James Bibles out to nearly a dozen different jails and prisons stretching all the way from Florida to Alaska. We have not yet reached our goal, but making good progress, all in the Lord’s time. When you help us to send out these Bible, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts, you are reaching the very people that Jesus said that He came for. We’ve sent out hundreds of thousands of pieces of Bible literature, and have seen hundreds of inmates respond to the gospel call to get saved. Can you think of any better way to invest the money God has given you than into the souls of men and women bound behind bars? I can’t.

This week coming up we will start to send out Bibles and gospel literature to the Indian River Correctional Institute in Florida, Salem Correctional Center & Jail in West Virginia, Garza West Unit in Texas, Dominguez State Jail in Texas, Farmington Correctional Center A Side in Missouri, Craven County Sheriff Detention in North Carolina, and the Goose Creek Correctional Center in Alaska. In all it will be about 2,500 Bibles, 1,000 copies of ‘What Must I Do To Be Saved?’, and assorted gospel tracts. We need your fervent prayer and financial support to do all this. When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations.
