Donald Trump Pulls Out A Win As He Stumps Hillary About Her Own Length Of Service As Secretary Of State

The debate night that will be discussed for generations in Political Science classes – and Women’s Studies seminars – ended with Republican Donald Trump landing more punches than Democrat Hillary Clinton, and successfully deflecting attention successfully away from a two-day-old crisis about graphic sexual language that threatened to derail his White House bid.

In the first debate at Hofstra University 13 days earlier, Clinton sat back and let Trump hang himself. But on Sunday her quiet patience gave him room to roam and dominate.

Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who has been among Trump’s most forceful defenders, summed up the real estate tycoon’s performance with two words in the post-debate spin room: ‘home run.’

‘I think the momentum is going to switch, like that,’ Giuliani told DailyMail.com, snapping his fingers. ‘It was one of the biggest victories in a presidential debate, ever.’ Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta called Trump ‘desperate’ and called him ‘incoherent’ in policy discussions.

2nd Presidential Debate – Town Hall Event- Donald Trump – Hillary Clinton

Neither candidate appeared in the hall where reporters waited to grill them. For Clinton, that was par for the course. For Trump, it marked his first such absence in any debate in which he’s participated in 2016 and 2015.

Clinton established herself as a superior bureaucrat Sunday night with more mature knowledge of foreign policy minutiae and a more intelligible way of communicating details about how laws are made.

But Trump won on points in what has become the Year of the Outsider, playing to a national television audience that polls show are weary of Washington’s same-old same-old and eager for new blood.

He had Clinton playing defense for most of the 90-minute clash, saying she would be ‘in jail’ if he ran the Justice Department – a reference to her classified email scandal – and declaring that she had ‘tremendous hate in her heart’ when she branded ‘half’ his supporters as ‘deplorables.’

He even bested her on her recollection of her own tenure at the helm of the U.S. State Department.

Trump recalled that Clinton was secretary of state when President Barack Obama drew his now-infamous rhetorical ‘red line’ in Syria, ineffectively warning Bashar al-Assad not to use chemical weapons against insurgents and civilians.

Clinton insisted she had retired from the government by the time that happened. Not so: Obama dared Assad to cross his line in August 2012, six months before Clinton’s term ended. Sunday night’s showdown, the second of three before the Nov. 8 presidential election, launched with a bang in St. Louis, Missouri.

There was no handshake at the top. Only polite nods at each other. The white-hot stares, straight ahead, came 90 minutes after Trump held a photo-op press event featuring four women with sex-assault accusations from the Clintons’ past.

The first question of the debate was expected to focus on lewd remarks revealed Friday in an 11-year-old audiotape of Trump. But it was milder, asking Clinton about the overall tone of the 2016 campaigns.

The temperature at Washington University in St. Louis dropped. No fireworks. No first blood. For two minutes.

Then Trump found himself behind the 8-ball, with co-moderator Anderson Cooper telling him bluntly that he had admitted to ‘sexual assault’ in the audio – referring to a remark saying that powerful men could touch women whenever they wanted.

Trump insisted, as he did Friday night, that ‘this was locker room talk. I’m not proud of it.’ But then he turned the discussion on the Clintons. ‘If you look at Bill Clinton, far worse,’ trump jabbed. ‘Mine were words, his were actions.’ ‘Bill Clinton was abusive to women. Hillary Clinton attacked those women, attacked them viciously.’

Earlier in the night Trump had hosted a press event with Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey and Kathy Shelton.

Broaddrick accused former President Clinton of raping her when he was the Arkansas attorney general. She later pointed a finger at Hillary Clinton for intimidating her into silence as her husband launched his 1992 bid for the presidency.

Willey and Jones made similar accusations against this year’s Democratic nominee for the White House. He also noted that Shelton was sitting in the front row. The Arkansas native was 12 when she was raped by a 41-year-old drifter. Hillary Clinton was her attacker’s lawyer.

‘Her client – she represented – she got him off,’ Trump said, recalling that she was recorded ‘laughing [about the case] on two separate tapes.’

Giuliani later remarked that ‘if you listened to them when they had their own press conference, it wasn’t just that Bill Clinton raped them, assaulted them or took sexual advantage of them. ‘It was that Hillary Clinton attacked them. One of them was a 12-year-old girl. And Hillary Clinton got the rapist acquitted and then laughed about it.’

Trump was on a tear Sunday night, recalling that the former president ‘was impeached, lost his license to practice law’ because he lied to Congress about his affair with a young White House intern named Monica Lewinsky.

‘When Hillary brings up a point like that and she talks about words that I said 11 years ago, I think it’s disgraceful and I think she should be ashamed of herself,’ Trump said.

Trump’s partisans in the audience cheered and applauded.

‘So much of what he said is not right,’ Clinton protested. ‘I’m reminded of what my friend Michelle Obama advised us all: When they go low, you go high.’ Her claque in the auditorium screamed and hollered.

Trump’s biggest zinger came when Clinton was asked about a fundraising speech where she said ‘half’ of Trump’s voting base belong in ‘baskets of deplorables,’ and branded the same group as ‘irredeemable’ because of their views.

Trump pushed back, framing himself as a uniting force in the face of divisive rhetoric. ‘We have a divided nation because of people like her. Believe me, she has tremendous hate in her heart.’ The line drew audible gasps in the auditorium.

When she said “deplorables,” she meant it. When she said “irredeemable” – “they were irredeemable,” you didn’t mention that – but when she said they were irredeemable, to me that might have been even worse.’

‘She has tremendous hatred. This country cannot take another four years of Barack Obama and that’s what you are getting with her,’ Trump said. The two candidates got into another angry exchange after the moderators raised the issue of Clinton’s classified email scandal.

The Democrat delivered a stock response, saying, ‘That was a mistake and I take responsibility for using a personal email account … I’m not making any excuses. It was a mistake and I’m very sorry about that.’

Clinton pledged that she was ‘very committed’ to taking classified information seriously.

Trump countered: ‘And yet she didn’t know the letter “C” on a document,’ referring to Clinton’s statement to the FBI that she didn’t recognize that marking for classified information. ‘She didn’t even know what that letter meant,’ Trump fumed. ‘And she’s lying again … do you think it was fine to delete 33,000 emails?’ Trump asked rhetorically. ‘I don’t think so.’

‘For you to say that there was nothing wrong with you deleting 39,000 [sic] emails again, you should be ashamed of yourself, what you did,’ Trump said, adding that Clinton should be ‘put in jail.’

‘It’s just not true,’ Clinton tried to respond, saying, ‘Well we turned over 35,000 emails’ to the State Department, but Trump cut her off.

‘Please allow her to talk,’ moderator Anderson Cooper jumped in, scolding Trump that Clinton allowed him to speak.

‘That’s true I did,’ Clinton agreed.

‘Because you have nothing to say,’ Trump shot back.

Clinton replied: ‘Its just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law of our country.’ ‘Because you’d be in jail,’ he snapped. source

Ghislaine Maxwell Was Granted Immunity Testifying For Second Day As President Trump Floats Trial Balloon Of A Possible Pardon For Convicted Serial Sex Offender

Published

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Ghislaine Maxwell was granted ‘limited immunity’ at her meetings with the Department of Justice, ABC News reported on Friday, citing sources.

If you think you’re unhappy now with the way that President Donald Trump has been handling the Epstein files saga, just wait until he pardons Ghislaine Maxwell and lets her out of prison. What’s that you say, it’ll never happen? The first step has already taken place today, the DOJ granted Maxwell a ‘proffer immunity’ which means that nothing she says about anyone related to the Epstein files can ever be used against her. That, my friends, is Step #1 on her way to a presidential pardon. That’s the memo.

There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.” Ezekiel 22:25 (KJB)

President Trump was asked just hours ago about the possibility of a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, and he said that while it was within his power to do it, it was “something I had not thought about”. Hmm, really? OK. Maxwell was questioned today for the second time, and she give up information ‘on 100 different people’ thanks to her being granted immunity. That’s a lot of potential game-changing evidence, is Bill Clinton thinking about possible exit strategies tonight?

Here’s a likely scenario for what might happen next: Trump gives Ghislaine Maxwell immunity, which he did, she testifies and gives up one ‘big fish’ and maybe two or three medium sized ones. Trump then grants her clemency for bringing (some of) the perpetrators to justice, she gets out of jail and Trump gets the Epstein files elephant off his back (maybe). One thing is for certain, Trump needs to do something to stop the Epstein files express train from derailing his remaining 3.5 years in office, and certainly he needs to do something to save the midterms. Yes, it’s that serious.

Ghislaine Maxwell limited immunity row: What Trump’s order means for Epstein files

FROM THE HINDUSTAN TIMES: The publication added that the Jeffrey Epstein accomplice was questioned for about nine hours over two days. The immunity allowed Maxwell to freely answer Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s questions. Her answers will not be used against her in the future, the report stated. Ghislaine Maxwell was interviewed by the DOJ for over nine hours(AFP)

The proffer immunity is usually given to individuals prosecutors are seeking to cooperate with in a criminal case. Maxwell, who dated Epstein, has been convicted and sentenced for sex trafficking underage girls.

“There have been no asks and no promises,” Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, told ABC News. He further added that she was asked about ‘maybe 100 different people’ during the interview and she answered every one of them.

This comes as Trump and Pam Bondi-led DOJ are facing backlash over the non-release of the infamous Jeffrey Epstein files. The administration previously said that there is no more evidence to be released. Trump’s executive order, signed July 24, directs the DOJ to facilitate state and local access to Epstein-related materials, including grand jury testimony, amid House Oversight Committee pressure.

The order might unlock new details on Epstein’s operations, with Maxwell’s testimony potentially implicating others, as suggested by her lawyer. On Friday, Trump again sought to put distance between himself and Epstein, the disgraced financier who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

“I have nothing to do with the guy,” Trump, whose past friendship with Epstein has received much media attention this week, told reporters ahead of a visit to Scotland. READ MORE

President Donald Trump is leaving open the possibility of granting clemency to Ghislaine Maxwell. For a second day, the Department of Justice questioned Jeffrey Epstein’s convicted sex trafficking co-conspirator. ABC’s Perry Russom has more on the hours-long meeting.

Longtime Trump Friend Ghislaine Maxwell To Speak With Justice Department Officials Today Where Many Are Saying She Will ‘Spill The Beans’ For A Plea Deal

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Ghislaine Maxwell will attempt to make a deal with the Trump administration when government officials visit her in prison to speak about the Epstein files

One story that I am surprised that no one seems to be pursuing is the possibility that Donald Trump met his wife Melania through Jeffrey Epstein, as many of Epstein’s sex trafficking victims came from Eastern European countries like where Melania is also from. In photos at least, Melania seems super comfortable around Epstein and his procurer Ghislaine Maxwell, but I’m sure that’s just a wild coincidence. Speaking of Ghislaine Maxwell, she is scheduled to testify today before Justice Department officials today and to expected to ‘cut a deal’. That’s the memo.

“And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.” Acts 23:13 (KJB)

Just what type of deal would Ghislaine be interested in cutting? I suppose one that might dramatically lessen her prison sentence, and by all accounts, she is ready to sing like a canary. The only question is, will she tell the truth as it exists, or the ‘truth’ to get out of prison? Donald Trump right now needs more a little help to make the Epstein files mess go away, and Ghislaine just might be able to provide that help. At a cost. Will we ever know the truth about the Epstein files? Hard to say, but with all the amazing effort on both the parts of the Democrats and Republicans to make this all go away, that doesn’t seem likely.

Epstein lawyer: Maxwell will try to make a deal with Trump

FROM THE TELEGRAPH UK: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced he would meet the convicted sex offender in the “coming days” to find out if she has information about anyone who participated in Epstein’s sex crimes.

“She’s going to make a deal” with the Department of Justice (DoJ), Alan Dershowitz, the Harvard law professor who previously represented Epstein, said. “That’s the way things are done. They make deals with the Mafia, so I’m certain they are going to try to make a deal with her,” he told The New York Post.

Maxwell was subpoenaed by the House oversight committee on Wednesday to give a deposition from prison on August 11.

“The facts and circumstances surrounding both your and Mr Epstein’s cases have received immense public interest and scrutiny,” James Comer, chairman of the committee, wrote to Maxwell.

Mr Comer said the committee is seeking her testimony “to inform the consideration of potential legislative solutions to improve federal efforts to combat sex trafficking and reform the use of non-prosecution agreements and/or plea agreements in sex-crime investigations”.

President Donald Trump continues to battle the biggest challenge of his presidency, the fallout from his refusal to release all the information the US government has on Epstein. READ MORE

President Trump Says Barack Obama Is Guilty Of ‘Sedition And Treason’ Against The United States And That ‘Papers Are Signed’ To Have Him Arrested

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Former President Barack Obama’s office claims that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) report indicating senior officials in the Obama administration orchestrated the “Russia Collusion” hoax after President Donald Trump was elected, is “outrageous.”

President Trump in his efforts to make the Epstein files scandal go away has put himself in a very precarious position. He has accused former president Barack Obama of ‘sedition and treason’ against the government of the United States, has pronounced him to be guilty, saying “it’s time to go after people”.

“Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.” Job 31:6 (KJB)

Here’s the problem with all that. If Trump, having pronounced Obama to be guilty of the highest crime possible against the nation, does not have him arrested nearly immediately, it will show that Trump is lying. Trump would then be guilty of libel for publishing false statements and slander for speaking false statements. If Trump does have Obama led away in handcuffs, it will ignite a firestorm not seen since the last civil war. On our Podcast yesterday, I called Trump’s bluff, and said he would never do that while at the same time allowing for the slightest possibility that he just might. Crazy is as crazy does. Obama today called Trump’s accusations “outrageous”, and said his claims are “without merit”. Having now successfully painted himself into the proverbial corner, Trump has to ‘put up or shut up’, and arrest Obama and try him, or be branded a liar. What do you think he’ll do?

Obama’s Office Responds to Trump’s Accusation of Treason: ‘Outrageous’

FROM BREITBART NEWS: Obama spokesman Patrick Rodenbush issued a statement challenging the report released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Friday, according to a screenshot from the Hill White House columnist Niall Stanage.

The ODNI report found “overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump,” per a release from Gabbard’s office.

Rodenbush heavily denied the allegations in the report:

  • Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous and merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.
  • Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes. These findings were affirmed by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio.

The statement comes hours after Trump declared Obama is “guilty.”

“He’s guilty. It’s not a question, you know, I like to say, ‘Let’s give it time.’ It’s there. He’s guilty… This was treason. This was every word you can think of. They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.

Trump also emphasized that he did not pursue charges against twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2017 over her email scandal, but said after what has happened to him over the past decade, “it’s time to go after people.”

“You know, when we caught Hillary Clinton, I said, ‘You know what, let’s not… go too far here; It’s the ex-wife of a president.’ And I thought it was sort of terrible, and I let her off the hook. And I’m very happy I did,” Trump said. “…After what they did to me, and whether it’s right or wrong, it’s time to go after people. Obama’s been caught directly. So people say, ‘Oh, you know a group.’ It’s not a group, it’s Obama. His orders are on the paper. The papers are signed,” Trump added. READ MORE
