After years of setbacks, President Donald Trump is on track to build more than 450 miles of a Mexico border wall along the southern border within the year, the White House says, making good on a campaign pledge as he seeks reelection.

If you are an American patriot, this story is a good one today, no, make that a great one. President Trump is not only keeping his promise to build the border wall that over 63,000,000 Americans voted for back in 2016, but in typical Trump style, he is doing at even a higher level than what he originally promised would happen. Even the liberal outlet Politico, where we take today’s story from, is having to acknowledge that President Trump, against all odds, is keeping his border wall promise. You just can’t stop that Trump Train, can you?

Now someone will say, yes, the border wall is being built but America is paying for it, and not Mexico as Trump had promised. And this is where the story gets crazy good. President Trump has formed an alliance with Mexico, something no one saw coming, and through that relationship the entire country of Mexico has agreed to serve as a border wall. Listen to what liberal news jockeys NBC says about it:

Donald Trump has actually kept the main promise of his 2016 campaign, because Mexico is paying for a “border wall.” The only thing is that it’s not a physical wall and it’s not on the southwest border: It’s a wall of Mexican National Guard members on the border between Mexico and Guatemala, working to keep Trump’s promises to the American people in the name of Mexican national security… and capitulation to their northern neighbor.

That wall was put to the test after thousands of Honduran migrants arrived at a bridge connecting southern Mexico and Guatemala on Saturday, clashing with Mexico’s National Guard after Mexican authorities shut down the bridge and attempted to stop the migrants from making unauthorized entry elsewhere in the border region by promising those that registered for asylum in Mexico that they could obtain jobs there. If that doesn’t get you fired up for the coming #MAGA2020Landslide in November, nothing will. Please enjoy the amazing drone video at the bottom of this article made just a few days ago, showing the incredible progress on the construction of the Trump border wall. Please pour yourself a nice hot cup of liberal tears while you watch!

President Trump is on track to build more than 450 miles of Mexico border wall

FROM POLITICO: “The project will substantially be done by the end of the year or early next year,” Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, said in an interview Friday with POLITICO. “That was a promise, and it’s important that it’s now being accomplished.”

Since invoking an emergency declaration, the Trump administration has diverted enough money in 2019 and 2020 to build the wall in four locations along the Mexican border where most immigrants from Latin America cross into the United States, a White House official said. The White House will soon publicly announce how many miles it expects to be able to build before Trump‘s term ends.

FLASHBACK 2019: FAKE NEWS CNN REFUSED TO AIR STORY ON EFFECTIVENESS OF BORDER WALL FROM LOCAL SAN DIEGO TV STATION KUSI

In recent weeks, even some members of the administration had expressed skepticism that the president would meet his goal of 450 miles by the end of 2020. Kushner said construction had been completed on 122 miles of wall as of Friday. The border between the United States and Mexico spans nearly 2,000 miles.

Speaking Friday at the White House, Trump touted the reductions in border crossings. In a meeting with members of the Border Patrol Council, the labor union for agents, he said areas where the wall has been erected are “virtually 100 percent effective.”

“Illegal border crossings have dropped eight straight months in a row — that’s a big number,” Trump said. “Illegal crossings are down over 75 percent since last spring. And this is despite the fact that we have the strongest economy in the history of the country.” READ MORE

Trump Border Wall Construction Revealed by Drone

During a 2020 trip to Arizona and New Mexico, I filmed the construction of new border wall being built east of Douglas, Arizona. An extremely impressive undertaking. This video hopes to remind viewers how incredibly innovative & productive our construction industry is. It reminded me of the Alaska Pipeline Project, in which I personally managed a small portion of. After the politics settle, our relationship with Mexico will dramatically improve, the environment will be just fine (as was the environment in Alaska post project), the word “illegal” immigrant will be gone, and in its place increased & rejuvenating legal immigration: “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

A San Diego television station KUSI on Thursday said that CNN had asked for a “local view” and then “declined to hear from us” after past reports from the station showed that a border wall was effective.

So why do we call CNN fake news? Because this. CNN reached out to a local border state looking for a story that would make President Trump and his demand for building the wall look bad. That’s what CNN lives for, mocking the president and trying to take him down. But when they reached out to local San Diego station KUSI, they didn’t like what they were told.

CNN was told that having a border wall lowers crime, reduces drug traffic, makes people safer and lowers illegal immigration. Translation? KUSI told CNN the truth about the benefits of having a strong border wall. CNN dropped the story idea like a hot potato, not interested in anything that reflects positively on our president or tells the truth about border security. And that’s why we call them fake news CNN.

San Diego TV station: CNN declined our ‘local view’ because of reports on wall effectiveness

FROM THE HILL: Immigration, the partial government shutdown and President Trump‘s proposed border wall have all been topics dominating the cable news landscape since the shutdown began three weeks ago.

“Thursday morning, CNN called the KUSI Newsroom asking if one of our reporters could give them a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown,” a report by KUSI, an independent station in San Diego that began airing in 1982, begins.

“KUSI offered our own Dan Plante, who has reported dozens of times on the border, including one story from 2016 that was retweeted by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, and posted on DrudgeReport.com,” it continues while linking to a border fence tour report.

“We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work,” it concludes. “We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States, and the numbers prove it.”

The Hill has reached out to CNN for comment.

The partial government shutdown over funding for the wall reached its 21st day on Friday. Trump has demanded $5 billion for the wall while Democrats have offered $1.3 billion for border security measures.

Trump is said to be strongly considering a national emergency declaration as it appears a funding bill getting through Congress with his demands is unlikely. Some legal scholars and Democrats have argued the president does not have the authority to make such a declaration. READ MORE

Construction of the border wall in the Chihuahuita neighborhood of Downtown El Paso continued Wednesday beneath the Stanton Street International Bridge.

The main campaign promise of then-candidate Donald Trump was that he would build a border wall along the southern edge of the United States, and though he is up against tremendous political opposition, construction of that wall is finally beginning in Texas.

FROM THE EL PASO TIMES: The U.S. Border Patrol announced Friday that the new wall would replace existing fencing south of Downtown El Paso and that construction would begin Saturday as part of President Donald Trump’s executive order authorizing construction of the U.S.-Mexico border wall.

The border wall starts in Chihuahuita and continues east for four miles. Chihuahuita is El Paso’s oldest neighborhood, with about 100 people currently living in the area. The southern boundary of the neighborhood is the border fence separating El Paso from Juárez.

The existing fence will be removed, and an 18-foot-high steel bollard wall will be constructed in its place. The construction project is expected to be completed in late April. The estimated cost for the project is $22 million. source

Fake News Media Hid The Fact That Mexico Was World’s Second Deadliest Country With 23,000 Murders In 2016

It was the second deadliest conflict in the world in Mexico last year, but it hardly registered in the headlines of the liberal fake news media.

It was the second deadliest conflict in the world last year, but it hardly registered in the headlines of the liberal fake news media

EDITOR’S NOTE: When Donald Trump ran for president, he took enormous amounts of heat from the fake news media for his stand on wanting to build a wall to protect us from all the violence in Mexico. But as we are now seeing, President Trump was, as usual, very correct on the issue. If your country bordered on the second-most violent country on the face of the earth, and you didn’t want to build a wall to protect your citizens, you would be not only a disgrace but a traitor as well.

As Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan dominated the news agenda, Mexico’s drug wars claimed 23,000 lives during 2016 — second only to Syria, where 50,000 people died as a result of the civil war. “This is all the more surprising, considering that the conflict deaths [in Mexico] are nearly all attributable to small arms,” said John Chipman, chief executive and director-general of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), which issued its annual survey of armed conflict on Tuesday. “The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan claimed 17,000 and 16,000 lives respectively in 2016, although in lethality they were surpassed by conflicts in Mexico and Central America, which have received much less attention from the media and the international community,” said Anastasia Voronkova, the editor of the survey.

Why the Violence in Mexico is Getting Worse

In comparison, there were 17,000 conflict deaths in Mexico in 2015 and 15,000 in 2014 according to the IISS. Rising death toll Voronkova said the number of homicides rose in 22 of Mexico’s 32 states during 2016 and the rivalries between cartels increased in violence.

“It is noteworthy that the largest rises in fatalities were registered in states that were key battlegrounds for control between competing, increasingly fragmented cartels,” she said. “The violence grew worse as the cartels expanded the territorial reach of their campaigns, seeking to ‘cleanse’ areas of rivals in their efforts to secure a monopoly on drug-trafficking routes and other criminal assets.”

Mexican drug cartels take in between $19 billion and $29 billion annually from US drug sales, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Rivalries between the cartels wreak havoc on the lives of civilians who have nothing to do with narcotics. Bystanders, people who refused to join cartels, migrants, journalists and government officials have all been killed.

Jacob Parakilas, assistant head of the US and the Americas Programme at London-based think tank Chatham House, said part of the reason for the relative lack of attention paid to Mexico in the international media is “it’s not a war in the political sense of the word. The participants largely don’t have a political objective. They’re not trying to create a breakaway state. It doesn’t come with the same visuals. There are no air strikes.

Trump promises to build the wall to protect America:

“Also this has been going on since the beginning of the modern drug trade in the Americas. It’s not news in that sense. And Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries in the world to be a journalist. They are intentionally targeted in Mexico, which puts a dampener on the ability to report on this.” source
