Outraged by secretly taped anti-Trump comments attributed to CNN President Jeff Zucker and others at the cable network, President Trump’s campaign is vowing to sue the company for “a substantial payment of damages.”

Now it gets interesting. Just yesterday, we reported to you the people over at fake news ABC posted a video of “Slaughter In Syria!!!!” when it was really a weapons show in at a gun range in Kentucky. Why would they do that? For no other reason than to make President Trump look bad. You see, in 2019, none of the so-called news outlets are creating any news at all, it’s just bias and prejudice aimed at destroying the man America elected to our highest office in a free and fair election. It’s no longer mere slander and liberal, it’s tantamount to treason.

So where does this all end? Sadly, I am thinking it will not end well. No matter who wins in 2020, we are guaranteed of 4 more years of anarchy and chaos. The rabid Liberal Left will not quit, and they will do anything from the phony Russian Collusion Hoax all the way to a phony impeachment trial to stop Trump. But I wonder, will they go even further to stop him, stop him dead? That will soon be their only option as everything else has either failed or is failing. Pray for our president, he needs it like never before.

FROM WASHINGTON EXAMINER: In a four page letter to CNN, Zucker and Executive Vice President David Vigilante, Trump attorney Charles J. Harder cited years of anti-Trump bias at the network and claimed that the cable giant has broken its promise of “excellence in journalism.”

Listing several examples from the just-released Project Veritas video tapes of CNN insiders describing Zucker’s demand for “impeachment above all else,” Harder wrote that they “are merely the tip of the iceberg of the evidence my clients have accumulated over recent years.”

He added, “Never in the history of this country has a president been the subject of such a sustained barrage of unfair, unfounded, unethical and unlawful attacks by so-called ‘mainstream news, as the current situation.”

Harder represents both Trump and the campaign. The letter was provided exclusively to Secrets and is shown in full below.

While media is typically protected by the First Amendment, Harder said that bias he cited at CNN was a violation of the Lanham Act “by constituting misrepresentations to the public, to your advertisers, and to others” to distribute “truly fair and balanced” news.

“Accordingly, my clients intend to file legal action against you, to seek compensatory damages, treble damages, punitive damages, injunctive relief, reimbursement of legal costs, and all other available legal and equitable remedies, to the maximum extent permitted by law,” said the letter.

What’s more, he suggested that even if the campaign and CNN come to an agreement, he would seek money as part of that deal.

“Please contact the undersigned to discuss an appropriate resolution of this matter, which would include a substantial payment of damages, as well as all other appropriate measures that are necessary to fully address the magnitude of the situation,” wrote Harder in the letter sent by overnight mail and email on Wednesday.

Trump has long been at war with CNN, and other media he dubs “fake news.” CNN’s White House reporter Jim Acosta and Trump have tussled publicly and Acosta wrote a book sharply critical of the president titled “The Enemy of the People.”

In three new secretly taped videos, Project Veritas said they show CNN insiders detailing Zucker’s anti-Trump view. Those comments, wrote Harder, show that CNN is violating journalism ethics.

“Recently released video footage of individuals alleged to be your employees indicates that your reporting relating to President Trump is contrary to your own mission and the aforementioned Code of Ethics. Your own employees appear to state that CNN is focused on trying to ‘take down President Trump,’ driven by a ‘personal vendetta’ that Mr. Zucker purportedly has against him, rather than reporting the news in an objective manner,” wrote Harder.

Donald Trump spent the day talking like a wartime Caesar, threatening Iran with civilizational destruction if Tehran did not submit by his deadline. Then, just one hour before the clock ran out, he did what he so often does when the pressure gets real, he blinked. Multiple outlets reported Tuesday, April 7, 2026, that Trump accepted a two-week ceasefire arrangement tied to diplomacy and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, with Pakistan playing the central mediating role. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad there won’t be nuclear war tonight, I truly am. But I am saddened and embarrassed watching the pusillanimous flip-flopper Trump running his mouth only to make another meaningless deadline.

That is not iron resolve, that’s not Churchillian nerve. That is not the conduct of a man who means what he says. That is the now-familiar Trump cycle in full view: issue a threat big enough to shake markets and dominate headlines, pound the table, demand surrender, and then retreat into a “temporary pause” the moment the consequences of his own rhetoric begin to close in. AP reported Trump warning that a “whole civilization will die tonight,” while also noting the administration was pulled toward a two-week diplomatic off-ramp.

And that is exactly why the “TACO Trump” label keeps sticking to him like tar. “TACO” stands for “Trump Always Chickens Out,” a phrase that was coined by Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong in the tariff context before spreading into the broader political culture. CBS and ABC both traced the acronym to Armstrong and explained its meaning the same way: Trump talks maximum toughness and then backs off before the final collision. What just happened illustrates that beautifully.

Now that same label fits this Iran episode like a glove. Trump wanted the political theater of a final ultimatum. He wanted the optics of a strongman standing on the brink of decisive action. He wanted the world to believe that midnight would bring fire. Instead, midnight brought another extension, another pause, another exit ramp, another reminder that Trump loves the language of confrontation more than the reality of it. Let’s say it plainly: you do not get to spend the afternoon threatening to wipe out a civilization and then spend the evening hiding behind a “double-sided ceasefire” without being called exactly what that looks like. Axios framed the ceasefire as agreed; AP emphasized Pakistan’s push for the delay; The Guardian described Trump as suspending the deadline rather than pressing forward immediately. But across those reports, the core point holds steady: Trump did not follow through on the thunder he had just unleashed. He backed away into a two-week pause. This latest Iran ceasefire does not make Trump look like a master strategist. It makes him look like what his critics have been saying all along: loud on the front end, slippery on the back end, and forever trying to pass off retreat as genius. He wanted to look like a lion, but he ended the day looking like TACO Trump once again.

I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” after U.S. strikes had already hit more than 50 military targets on Kharg Island earlier in the day, that is not measured leadership. That is apocalyptic brinkmanship dressed up as strategy. That is World War Trump.

We understand that according to Daniel 2:21, that is is God that sets up kings and removes kings, all to accomplish His will in an given dispensation. If we believe that, and we do, then we rightly understand that Donald Trump is God’s man “on the throne” for this time we find ourselves in right now. A period of time the Bible calls the last days. So everything we are watching now are events and situations that have prophecy stamped all over them, because it is time for the prophets to be fulfilled.

I have been saying for 10 years now that the whole reason why I voted for Donald Trump, all three times, was because I want very much for the end times timeline to be advanced. Trump is not doing it, God is doing it through Trump, and I agree with Isaiah that all this is a “strange act” and absolutely a “strange work” to behold. God has given America the president we deserve, amen? Amen.

TRUMP.” Multiple current outlets and live reports quoted that post verbatim on April 4, 2026, as Trump tied the ultimatum to his earlier ten-day deadline over the Strait of Hormuz.
