3 years later, Bibles Behind Bars is staying true to our mandate from God to send His preserved word into as many jails and prisons as we possibly can.

Bibles Behind Bars grew out of our Free Bible Program the day the LORD opened the floodgates for us to send out that first shipment of 1,500 King James Bibles to the prison in Port St. Lucie here in Florida. Since then, we have sent out Bibles to dozens and dozens of jails and prisons all across America. Not only that, we also send out New Testaments, scripture portions, Spanish Bibles and Christian literature of all kinds. We even restocked an entire prison library in Wisconsin! We have always promised the more you give, the more we will do, and by God’s grace are keeping that promise each and every day.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20 (KJB)

One exciting new project that is still in the planning stages is from the door the LORD opened last year with the NTEB Relief Convoy bringing Bibles, food, clothing and water to hurricane victims in North Carolina. We now have the opportunity to purchase a trailer that Charlton will operate from North Georgia, and it will deliver Bibles, books and supplies where needed throughout a multi-state region. A small shed warehouse is also in the planning stages where everything will be stored until needed. If we get the support we need, around $4,000, this will be our first ‘Triple B’ satellite location, exciting stuff! All of it made possible by your prayers and generous financial support. Currently, we are still raising funds to send Bibles and books to Farmington Correctional Center A Side in Missouri, Baker Re-Entry and Work Camp in Florida, Richland Parish Detention Center in Louisiana, CH Hazlewood in the Texas Prison System, and the Atascadero Maximum Security State Mental Hospital in California. Hopefully these will go out in the beginning of next week with your help. Over in our Free Bible Program, we send out more free Ruckman Reference Bibles to individuals in need who request them from around the world each year than anyone.

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations.
