Yesterday, NTEB’ers Dana and Mike Bragdon delivered hundreds of King James Bibles in English and Spanish, as well as boxes of gospel literature and scripture portions to the Floyd County Jail in Rome, Georgia. They were gratefully received by Chaplain David Thornton with open arms. This was the first Bibles Behind Bars delivery made through the brand-new NTEB North Georgia Bible Distribution Center, and we’ll tell you more about that in future articles. Thanks to your prayers and support, this Bible sending outreach continues to grow and expand. Praise the Lord!

Right now, we are working on suppling a record 10 jails and detention facilities with a full-spectrum assortment of King James Bibles, Spanish Bibles, scripture portions and gospel tracts, all at the same time. NTEB’er Charlton Head, who you remember from the NTEB Relief Convoy to Asheville, North Carolina, is organizing the situation on the ground up in Georgia, along with Mike and Dana, and Cindy and Steve Britt. We are also working directly with Humberto Gomez, translator of the Reina-Valera Gomez Bible, to expand our supply of Spanish Bibles and tracts.

All of this only exists because of your prayers and generous financial support. God has opened the door for us to send out Bibles on a scale I honestly never imagined would be possible, and it is up to each and every one of us to be faithful stewards of this ministry. When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. We have a Gospel Billboard program. We are now broadcasting Bible studies, Podcasts and a Sunday Service 5 times a week, thanks to your generous donations.
