One chaplain writes ‘So I am reaching out to you, actually, praying and pleading, that you could ship several cases of bibles” Can we?

As your read this, Lori and I are getting ready to go up to New Jersey so I can be with my brother Jimmy in the hospital. Please pray for him to get saved, he needs a miracle healing from God, and for traveling mercies for us as we go. They are calling for a big snow storm, and we need the Lord to blow it away. We’re going to be off the radar for a couple of days, but the requests for King James Bibles in English and Spanish are not taking a break, and we are looking at quite of number of emails to go through when we get back . Here are just a few.

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” Isaiah 61:1 (KJB)

Chaplain Lawrence Yerger of the DeSoto Correctional Institution in Arcadia, Florida, wrote to us and said “We distribute Bibles to all Inmates who need them – and monitor those who receive them so that we cannot be “bilked” by someone receiving multiple copies for nefarious purposes – and there are many who do…a large number of our incarcerated Christians have come to Christ while inside and need their Bible to help them grow in Faith.” This facility holds 1,453 inmates. Wow.

Chaplain Todd Herbert of the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center wrote and said ” Hello, we have received Bibles from you in the past. We are currently getting low on our stock. Since receiving the Bibles, we have seen over 100 inmates trust Christ as Saviour! Thank you so much. Our jail population averages 400. Many of our inmates will go onto prison, so they get to take the Bibles they receive at our jail with them. Anything you can send would be greatly appreciated! We are in need of KJVs in English only.” Did you catch that? Over 100 inmates saved after we sent them Bibles.

Chaplain Richard Moyer of the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing, NJ, said “Greetings, pray you are blessed. We have about a total of 450 male and female inmates. We are a county Jail with short term and some long term. I have been a Chaplain for nearly 40 years & see the darkness growing in our youth. Bibles have been the #1 request, believe it or not. It seems my steady resources have somewhat dwindled. So I am reaching out to you, actually, praying and pleading, that you could ship several cases of bibles. We still have plenty of Spanish. What ever you could do would be a blessing. May God richly bless you for all you do.” How very great is the need there!

After reading what these chaplains have to say, can you see how very great the need for King James Bibles is in these dark places? Many facilities are being told right now not to expect Bibles in 2024, as the supply ‘is dwindling’. Chaplain Richard says he is ‘praying and pleading’ that we can help him get Bibles. Well, can we? Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? You tell me. Christian, the hour is late, and the need for Bibles is greater than you can possibly imagine.
