Muslims rioted on the Temple Mount Thursday evening and hurled rocks at police and the Western Wall plaza, after returning to pray there for the first time in almost two weeks.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Last week, two Palestinian terrorists killed Israeli policemen on the Temple Mount. So Israel closed the Mount, installed metal detectors, and then reopened. Palestinians went crazy because of the metal detectors. So Israel removes the metal detectors, reopens the Mount, and what happens? Hundreds of Palestinians attack Israeli police, resulting in 96 injuries on both sides. All the Palestinians seem to want to do is riot, kill and loot. That’s all they ever do. They don’t make peace because they don’t want peace. They want war.

Ninety-six people were wounded in clashes with police, according to the Red Crescent. The Muslims had boycotted the site for the last two weeks in protest of heightened security measures there.

Muslim worshipers ascended the Temple Mount with Palestinian flags, in contravention of regulations banning all flags from the site. The thousands of Muslims streamed up to the Temple Mount in the afternoon after the mufti of Jerusalem, Muhammad Hussein, announced they could return to pray at the holy place. The decision was made following the removal of all metal detectors, security cameras and other infrastructure installed at the entrances to the compound since two policemen were killed there by three Israeli-Arab terrorists two weeks ago.

At least one policeman, who was wounded in the rioting when a rock struck his head, was treated on the scene.

“Police personnel deployed in increased numbers on the Temple Mount, at the gates and entrances to ensure security and order, and will respond harshly to any attempt to breach public order and to harm civilians or police,” the police told the press.

Palestinians return to Temple Mount in East Jerusalem for Friday prayers:

Jerusalem Police commander Asst.-Ch. Yoram Halevy said he expected large numbers of Muslims to attend Friday prayers at al-Aksa Mosque on the Temple Mount, and that he was also expecting attempts to harm police personnel and civilians.

“Do not test us tomorrow, and no one should be surprised if there are injuries on the other side,” he said in a stark message to the Palestinians. “I call on the leadership of the other side to act to calm the atmosphere, and again not to test us tomorrow.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said following the riots on the Temple Mount that after discussing the issue with Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan, he ordered heightened numbers of Border Police to bolster the police personnel deployed in Jerusalem.

Following uproar in the Muslim world and fury from Palestinian religious and political leaders, police on Thursday morning removed the recently erected metal detectors and CCTV cameras. The items were originally placed at the entrances to the Temple Mount to prevent more terrorist attacks against Jews and security personnel at the site.

Terrorists have consistently used al-Aksa Mosque as a staging ground for attacks and riots due to the exploitation of an agreement with the Jordanian government barring Israeli officers from entering the mosque.

In a brief statement, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld confirmed the developments.

“The metal detectors and cameras that were put into place outside the Temple Mount after the terror attack on the Temple Mount, when two officers were murdered, have been removed and dismantled,” he said, adding that he could not add more details at the time.

The official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas “praised the steadfastness of Jerusalem Muslims and Christians in the face of the Israeli measures against al-Aksa and said their stand was such that the right would prevail and the wrong would pass away.”

PLO executive committee member Wasel Abu Yusuf told The Jerusalem Post that the lifting of the Israeli measures is “a great achievement for the defenders of al-Aksa and for the Palestinian people against all the efforts to solidify the occupation against blessed al-Aksa Mosque.

“All the sons of the Palestinian people are called to come to blessed al-Aksa mosque for prayers,” he said.

The United States said it would not pressure Israel to make security decisions one way or another “for political purposes,” a State Department official said on Thursday. Thus the administration did not ask Israel to remove either metal detectors or cameras from the holy plateau.

“We continue to monitor that situation very closely,” said State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert. “We don’t want to do or say anything that will escalate tensions in the region. We all know it’s a fragile part of the world.”

Nauert said the Trump administration is taking a “long view” of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and would remain cautious in its public statements regarding current tensions on the Temple Mount. The president’s special representative for international negotiations, Jason Greenblatt, remains in the region for meetings with leadership from both sides, she said. source

Biblical Archaeologists Uncover Physical Evidence Of The Siege Of Jerusalem In 70 AD By The Romans, Proving The Josephus Account To Be Accurate

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

For the first time in the research of ancient Jerusalem, physical evidence uncovered in recent excavations has proven Jewish historian Josephus Flavius’s account of the 70 AD conquest of the holy city.

It is always nice to see when 21st century technology catches up to your dusty, old and archaic King James Bible, as we see in the fantastic discovery of the Roman weapons used in the Seige of Jerusalem in 70 AD. As it turns out, Roman historian Josephus was telling the truth when he wrote his historical account of events happening during that time. Josephus also wrote that Jesus was the Christ, the promised Messiah of Israel foretold by the prophets. I wonder why they believe Josephus about the fall of Jerusalem but not about that Jesus is the Christ?

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:1,2 (KJB)

If you’re a Preterist, then all Bible prophecy related to the end times, for you, was fulfilled with the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD, and there is nothing yet future awaiting you. But if you’re a Bible believer, then you know that the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD was a type of the final fall that will come halfway through the 7 year time of Jacob’s trouble. Jesus calls this time the start of great tribulation such as the world has never seen, and it will take place after the Church is removed in the Rapture.

Proving Josephus: Research on Roman ballistics confirms Second Temple battle account

FROM THE TIMES OF ISRAEL: Through computer analysis of 2,000-year-old Roman ballistics uncovered in Israel Antiquities Authority excavations in Jerusalem’s Russian Compound near modern Jerusalem’s Municipality building, archaeologist Kfir Arbiv claims he has demonstrated the veracity of Josephus’s narrative charted in his book, “The History of the Jewish War against the Romans.”

“It is extremely exciting to be proving the narrative of Josephus onsite,” Arbiv told The Times of Israel on Sunday, Tisha B’av, the Jewish day of mourning that annually commemorates the conquests of Jerusalem.

All data gathered onsite was compared to Josephus’s contemporary descriptions of a battle near the city’s third line of defense — which were proven accurate, said Arbiv. This is significant because while Josephus’s histories are one of the sole contemporary sources of the fall of Jerusalem, they are treated carefully by scholars due to his colorful personal history.

“In the over 150 years that we are scientifically researching ancient Jerusalem, this is the first time that we’ve resurrected a battlefield that proves an account of the conquest of Jerusalem,” he said.

Born Joseph Ben Matthias to a priestly family circa 38 CE, Josephus was a leading Jewish military leader during the Jewish revolt until he was captured by the Romans in 67 CE. Taken in chains to Rome, Josephus eventually won his freedom through a “prophecy” that Vespasian would become emperor. Newly loyal to Rome, Josephus returned to Jerusalem with Vespasian’s son Titus for the conquest in 70 CE, ostensibly to act as a mediator. Reviled by both sides, Josephus failed to quell the flames of war and eventually returned to Rome where he composed his histories.

“With the help of the computer, I located all the ballista exactly where they were found. I took into account the local topography and the location of the Second Temple-period city fortification walls, and I made ballistic calculations, including the launching angle, and the throwing distance of the stones,” said Arbiv, who co-directed the excavations with the IAA’s Dr. Rina Avner. The research is part of Arbiv’s Tel Aviv University MA thesis.

According to the IAA, the Roman Arsenal exposed in the Russian Compound excavations so far includes hundreds of ballista stones. The sizes vary and some were launched from hi-tech bolt-throwing machines to a distance of 100–400 meters, whereas other small sling stones were used by infantry. Ancient arrowheads, projectile spears and swords were also discovered onsite. READ MORE

Josephus Account Of Roman Siege Of Jerusalem In 70 AD Proved To Be Accurate With Recent Discovery

In 2016, impressive and fascinating evidence of the battlefield and the breaching of the Third Wall that surrounded Jerusalem at the end of the Second Temple period was uncovered in the Russian Compound in the city center. In 2022, computer analysis of those artifacts yielded some amazing finds.

Israel Defense Forces Announce The Start Of ‘Operation Breaking Dawn’ After 200 Rocket Attacks By Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Is Hamas Next?

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

The Israel Defense forces on Friday launched Operation Breaking Dawn in the Gaza Strip, following days of tensions in the wake of the arrest of the leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Judea and Samaria.

Israel announced the start of ‘Operation Breaking Dawn’ to deal aggressively with terror threats and rocket attacks from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad which began in earnest yesterday. Over 200 rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, with the IDF responding late into the night, seeing the death of 15 PIJ militants to date. The IDF has reportedly deployed Iron Dome missile defense batteries to central Israel in anticipation of barrages and has called up 25,000 reserve troops.

“As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.” Isaiah 31:5 (KJB)

Meanwhile over in Tbilsli, Georgia, we see something called the Peace Cathedral, which houses places of worship for Muslims, Jews and Christians. It’s based on a similar model called the House of One with plans laid in 2011, and construction started in 2021 in Berlin. We rightly understand this to be the One World Religion of Chrislam, and will be led by Antichrist and the False Prophet during the time of Jacob’s trouble. What began with Rick Warren’s ‘Peace Plan’ 20 years ago, has come to stunning fruition under the work of Pope Francis, Mohamed bin Zayed and the Abraham Accords.

Israel launches ‘Operation Breaking Dawn’ against Islamic Jihad in Gaza

BREAKING UPDATE: Rocket sirens sound in the southern part of Tel Aviv and the central cities of Rishon Lezion and Holon, for the first time since violence escalated between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group on Friday. source

FROM THE JEWISH NEWS SYNDICATE: Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said in a statement that the goal of the operation was “the elimination of a concrete threat” against civilians, as well as the targeting of terrorists and their sponsors.

“Anyone who tries to harm Israel should know: We will find you,” the premier said.

A senior Israeli source was quoted by media as saying that the mission was initiated with a view to thwarting an imminent large-scale terrorist attack.

According to the IDF, an airstrike on Friday killed senior PIJ commander Tayseer Jabari, who replaced Baha Abu al-Ata as the head of the terrorist group in northern Gaza after the latter’s assassination by the Israeli military in 2019.

The IDF said that some 15 PIJ terrorists had been killed in initial strikes targeting anti-tank missile operators and snipers in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the military has declared a “special situation” throughout the home front and warned residents within an 80-kilometer (50-mile) radius of Gaza, including those living in Tel Aviv, that there was a risk of rocket attacks.

Palestinian terrorists indeed began firing projectiles towards Israeli civilian areas at approximately 21:30 local time, as sirens blared across the country. So far, since the operation began, 71 rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza, 9 of which fell inside the Gaza strip, according to the IDF.

The IDF has reportedly deployed Iron Dome missile defense batteries to central Israel in anticipation of barrages and has called up 25,000 reserve troops.

“We will not allow anyone to threaten or harm the citizens of Israel. Whoever tries to do so will get hurt,” Defense Minister Benny Gantz said in reference to the ongoing military campaign. READ MORE

Palestinian Islamic Jihad Launches Massive Barrage Of Over 100 Rockets From Gaza Into Israel In Sabbath Day Surprise Attack, IDF Hits Back Hard

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

More than 70 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into southern and central Israel on Friday night, hours after the IDF struck multiple terrorist targets in Gaza, killing a top Islamic Jihad terrorist leader as well as additional operatives.

The Times of Israel reports that “Palestinian media reports say Israeli jets are currently striking sites in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces confirms it has launched a new wave of airstrikes against Palestinian Islamic Jihad targets in the coastal enclave. Meanwhile, incoming rocket sirens sound in Ashkelon, Sderot and other towns near the border with Gaza, with no immediate reports of damage or injuries.” IDF reservists have been called up, and the PM says ‘it will take as long as it takes’.

“For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.” Psalm 89:18 (KJB)

This is the first major offensive in Israel since the signing of the Abraham Accords, so it will be interesting to see who, or if, other Arab nations will weigh in on the current situation. Will Macron step into the fray offering peace talk? Will Mohamed bin Zayed offer some timely words of advice? What will it take to get this thing to the ‘next level’, prophetically speaking? Only the Lord knows, but one of these days we’re going to cross a line from which there will be no retreat.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad fires over 100 rockets from Gaza into Israel

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: Sirens were heard across a number of key Israeli cities as more than 70 rockets were fired at Yavne, Be’er Yaakov, Ashdod and Gaza-border communities. Most of the rockets were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system. The IDF was retaliating and striking additional targets said to be affiliated with Islamic Jihad terrorist infrastructure.

The targeting range was soon widened as rockets were fired toward the center of Israel including Rishon Lezion, Bat Yam and Holon. An hour later more rockets were fired at Sderot, Ibim and Nir Am.

No casualties were  reported. Islamic Jihad took responsibility for the attacks.

The rocket attacks came after the IDF struck multiple Islamic Jihad targets in Gaza on Friday in what Israel is calling Operation Breaking Dawn. The strikes destroyed Islamic Jihad military structures and including the assassinationof  top terrorist leader Tayseer al-Jabari.

The IDF hit additional targets in Gaza in response to the rocket fire.

In a press conference on Friday evening, Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Defense Minister Benny Gantz said that the strikes had been in response to a major terror attack that was being planned by the Islamic Jihad after its leader was arrested on Monday. READ MORE
