This week by faith, we sent 1,100 Spanish King James Bibles to the detainees held in the South Texas ICE Processing Center

About a week or so after we sent a truckload of Bibles to the St. Lucie County Jail in Fort Pierce, Florida, we received an email from a man who works at the South Texas ICE Processing Center where immigrants who come across the border are detained. This man wrote a very short email to me which said the following. “Good morning is it possible if you can send us some bibles. I work for South Texas ICE Processing Center. We reach out to local churches no respond. Just like you said great falling away of church.” 1,100 souls are housed at that facility, and the churches won’t help. But we will.

“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.” Acts 16:9 (KJB)

His email went on to say “I tell the detainees what would benefit a man or woman to gain the American dream or the whole world and lose your soul?” 1,100 Spanish Kings James Bible is no small amount of Bibles to send, especially when you factor in shipping costs. But by faith, I approved her request for immediate delivery, and those Bibles are on their way to South Texas as you read this. What an honor, and privilege, it is for the Lord to allow you and I to get in on this. Have you ever thought of ministry like that, that it’s a honor the Lord allows us to partake in it? Very few people care about illegal immigrants in a holding center, in America they are used primarily as political talking points between the Democrat and Republican parties. But while politicians jockey for position while bickering amongst themselves, it’s like the Lord is asking “who wants to send these souls I died for My word that some might be saved?” I do, Lord, we all do, use us Father, please. It feels to me like the Lord is opening up the floodgates to us here at NTEB, allowing us the honor of handing out His word to as many people as will receive it. Please pray for the 1,100 souls in South Texas who will be receiving these Bibles we sent them, pray for the man who requested them that the Lord will allow her to lead many of them to salvation in Jesus Christ. The Miami Correctional Facility in Indiana needs King James and Spanish Bibles for their thousands of inmates and ICE detainees

The Miami Correctional Facility, situated near Bunker Hill, Indiana, on the grounds of the Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base, was established in 1998 as a state prison. This facility accommodates adult males and includes inmates with high, medium, and minimum-security classifications. Miami is the largest prison in Indiana, boasting a capacity to house 3,188 prisoners when at full occupancy, including ICE detainees. Man, oh man, if you’re looking for fertile ground to start planting the seeds of the gospel, this is it.

“But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 13:8,9 (KJB)

Chaplain Blair writes: “Our incarcerated population is currently about 1000 listed as General Christian or Catholic. We offer services each week lead by Chaplains and/or outside volunteers. Offenders are able to attend multiple times per week and often request bibles for personal use. Our ICE detainee population is about 400 General Christian or Catholic. Services are ran to match the incarcerated population (citizens legally incarcerated). We are a level 3 / level 4 prison, meaning we are classified as medium-high to high security. Most of the population are between the ages of 20-40. All religious materials we as Chaplains can distribute must come from outside donations from organizations like yours.” Christian, can you get excited by all this? Here is our opportunity to send the preserved word of God into a facility filled to overflowing with Catholics, ICE detainees and Christian and non-Christian inmates. Talk about going into all the world with the gospel. Bibles Behind Bars was raised up for this exact purpose, for such a time as this. The Garza West Unit In Beeville Texas Which Houses Up To 2,278 Inmates Has Reached Out To Us For King James Bibles And Christian Literature

The Garza West Unit in Beeville Texas is a hotbed of soulwinning and gospel preaching and now they need King James Bibles

The Garza West Unit Transfer Facility is a mixed medium security prison located in Beeville Texas. The unit can house up to 2,278 male offenders of G1, G3, and transient custody levels. Co-located with Garza East, Garza West is situated on 304 acres. Garza West Unit is responsible for the initial intake and processing of offenders from the surrounding region into the Texas Department of Corrections. While incarcerated at Garza West, inmates can receive medical, dental, and mental health services. But what they really need is the gospel and the King James Bible, lots of them, amen?

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” Isaiah 42:7 (KJB)

Chaplain Hall writes to say “We have about 4 different Christian services with volunteers who travel anywhere from 1-2 hrs to either speak in a service or conduct a class in our Faith Based Dorm. My favorite ministry related activity is teaching in our Faith Based Dorm. While I am a Baptist Minister and Chaplain I push for real change in the inmate’s lives and tend not to push a sinners prayer or altar calls as I believe they usually produce shallow converts. I ask for Bibles because we have a constant stream of NEW inmates who come in weekly from county prisons. We do not receive funding from anyone and rely exclusively on donations from outside ministries.” And there it is, chaplains and jail ministers all across America have an urgent need for Bibles, and Bibles Behind Bars stands in the gap to make sure they get them. We need your help to make sure the flow of Bibles doesn’t stop going out, come help us!

The Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail In West Virginia is the latest detention center to request King James Bibles for their inmates

So far in 2026, thousands of King James Bibles, scripture portions and books have been flying out the door, with new requests coming in on a daily basis. The Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail holds just under 400 inmates, and Chaplain Elder has requested a Bible for each inmate. Up in north Georgia at the Murray County Jail, Chaplain Rick has run out of the thousands of Bibles we’ve sent him last year, and is requesting more. What a blessing to see the gospel being preached, souls being saved and the word of God going out!

From all the testimonies we’ve been getting, right around 1,000 souls have heard the gospel, believed it, and were given a Bible from Bibles Behind Bars. I am sure the actual numbers are much higher than that, but those are the ones we’ve directly heard about. When you donate to this outreach, you are first and foremost keeping the supply lines open for all the pastors, chaplains and volunteers who go to the jails and prisons to preach. Bibles Behind Bars is one of the very last jail and prison supply ministries who send out the King James Bibles and books exclusively.
