Outrage As Australian TV Commercial Mocks Jesus Dying On The Cross In Blasphemous ‘Dying To Live’ Organ Donor Ad Campaign

The clip, aired in Australia, shows an actor playing Jesus, the Son of God, moments before his crucifixion. Two Roman guards approach him and ask if he has considered donating his organs before he dies.  The pair inform Jesus that registering as an organ donor could help save the lives of up to seven people, before suggesting he signs up immediately before he is killed. And when Jesus shows interest in their proposal, one of the guards sticks a phone on a spear and passes it up to him on the cross.

The controversial ad is part of a documentary called ‘Dying to Live’, which addresses the lack of organ donor registrations in Australia. But the ad has caused a stir online, as followers of Jesus have labelled it ‘blasphemy’

Australian television recently ran a commercial that blatantly mocks the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross where two Roman soldiers hold up a smart phone to Jesus, inviting him to tap the screen to be an organ donor. The commercial was not well produced, the acting was mediocre, and the script vacillated between banality and blasphemy.

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” Luke 23:34-38 (KJV)

The untalented cowards who produced this garbage would never, in a million literal years, ever think about doing a commercial that mocked Mohammed or Islam. Why? Because they know that the followers of Mohammed would hunt them down and kill them. Immediately. Who did Jesus die on the cross for? Lost people who needed to be saved. They spit in His face 2,000 years ago, and from the looks of things, the spit continues to fly on Jesus in 2018.

Pray for the lost and Hell-bound people who produced this junk, because if they were to die today in their unsaved condition, they would find themselves in a literal, burning, fiery Hell from which there is no escape. Ever.

FROM THE DAILY STAR UK: The clip, aired in Australia, shows an actor playing Jesus, the Son of God, moments before his crucifixion. Two Roman guards approach him and ask if he has considered donating his organs before he dies.

And when Jesus shows interest in their proposal, one of the guards sticks a phone on a spear and passes it up to him on the cross.

Stranger still, the guard then tells Jesus he needs his family to be “on board for this,” and invite his parents, Mary and “earthly father” Joseph, to endorse his desires.

Jesus On The Cross Mocked In Australian Organ Donor Commercial

All three of them pose for a selfie, which one of the guards suggests should be posted on social media with the hashtags #register, #DyingToLive, while Jesus comes up with #blessed.

The controversial advert is part of a documentary called Dying to Live, which addresses the lack of organ donor registrations in Australia.

It has now racked up more than 32,000 hits, with twice as many dislikes as likes. “This is a truly despicable grab for publicity,” one comment read.

Another added: “To be so casual about Jesus’ crucifixion is taking humour denigrating Christ to a new low. If your aim was to divide opinion over the level of respect Jesus Christ and Christians should be given, you have succeeded.”

A third said: “If the intention was to be disrespectful and be blasphemous towards Christians and their God – then you nailed it. READ MORE
