Teenage Buddhist Convinced World Was Going To End Kills Herself
May 18th
No peace with the Prince of Peace
“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” 2 Corinthians 7:10
Here at NTEB, our ministry is bringing you events that relate to the rapture of the Church, and the end of the world. But through it all, we do our very best to tell you about Jesus, the One who made it possible for YOU to spend eternity with Him in Heaven for ever. This story you are about to read is heartbreakingly tragic. But when you have your eyes on the world, and not on the One who has conquered the world, it is a bleak outlook entirely. She was a devout Buddhist, but when she needed Buddha the most he was not there. That’s because Buddha, like Mohammed, Joseph Smith, Ellen G White and all the other false teachers and preachers this world produces, will only ever lead you to death. But God, who loved you so much He sent His Son to die in your place, leads you to peace, hope, and eternal life.
From the Daily Mail UK: A teenager hanged herself after becoming convinced the world would end in 2012 after researching doomsday scenarios on the internet, an inquest heard.
Schoolgirl Isabel Taylor, 16, turned to Buddhism after becoming fed up with the ‘complications and injustice’ of the modern world. But while searching for answers she began researching doomsday scenarios – becoming convinced a nuclear reactor meltdown would end civilisation in the coming months.
She had researched on the internet how to overdose but was found hanged in her bedroom by her mother.
Yesterday her parents Gary, 51, and Ingrid, 48, said in a statement: ‘We have questioned and searched our hearts to try to find an answer to why Isabel went down this devastating path.
‘She yearned for an uncomplicated and perfect world where every living thing would be valued and at peace.
‘But the simple and perfect world she sought, where all living things would be treated with compassion and equality, was never going to materialise. ’Unfortunately the future for her in her eyes must have seemed very bleak.
‘Sadly there were too many bad points for her to contend with and the lure to opt out was too compelling. ’We can only conclude that she wasn’t prepared to adjust to adulthood with all the complications, injustice and, for her, unhappiness that came with it.’
The couple, of Neston, Wiltshire, said Isabel had begun making flippant remarks that the world would end soon.
Mr Taylor, a retired civil servant, said: ‘We were aware of the 2012 issue. She would mention it around the dinner table. ’We would take it on board and say we didn’t think that was going to happen Isabel, and try to make light of it and move conversation onwards.
‘She believed something was going to happen that would change the world, I’m not sure whether she ever fully believed that it was going to end, but she definitely thought something was going to happen.
Her parents said: ‘Isabel was a fully committed vegan and had very strong views on animal welfare especially animal testing, livestock and dairy farming.
‘In the spring of 2011 she turned to the Buddhist faith and their teachings to search for answers because she could relate in their beliefs and principles.
‘It would seem her belief in Buddhism and the possibility of another, better life was strong enough to persuade her that the time was right to move on to what comes next.’
The inquest heard how Mrs Taylor, found her daughter hanged in her room at their home at 3.15pm in September last year, after spending much of the night on the computer.
Mr Taylor added: ‘We will never understand why she took her life and we will never fully come to terms with it. ’We miss her greatly , it was a tragic incident, she had such a promising career ahead of herself. ’The enormous shock of it remains with us and we will never fully come to terms with it. source – Daily Mail UK
Poll Reveals That One In Seven Thinks End Of World Is Coming Soon
May 2nd
The coming Day of the Lord
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” 2 Peter 3:10-12
From Reuters – Nearly 15 percent of people worldwide believe the world will end during their lifetime and 10 percent think the Mayan calendar could signify it will happen in 2012, according to a new poll.
The end of the Mayan calendar, which spans about 5,125 years, on December 21, 2012 has sparked interpretations and suggestions that it marks the end of the world.
“Whether they think it will come to an end through the hands of God, or a natural disaster or a political event, whatever the reason, one in seven thinks the end of the world is coming,” said Keren Gottfried, research manager at Ipsos Global Public Affairs which conducted the poll for Reuters.
“Perhaps it is because of the media attention coming from one interpretation of the Mayan prophecy that states the world ‘ends’ in our calendar year 2012,” Gottfried said, adding that some Mayan scholars have disputed the interpretation.
Responses to the international poll of 16,262 people in more than 20 countries varied widely with only six percent of French residents believing in an impending Armageddon in their lifetime, compared to 22 percent in Turkey and the United States and slightly less in South Africa and Argentina.
But only seven percent in Belgium and eight percent in Great Britain feared an end to the world during their lives. About one in 10 people globally also said they were experiencing fear or anxiety about the impending end of the world in 2012. The greatest numbers were in Russia and Poland, the fewest in Great Britain.
Gottfried also said that people with lower education or household income levels, as well as those under 35 years old, were more likely to believe in an apocalypse during their lifetime or in 2012, or have anxiety over the prospect.
“Perhaps those who are older have lived long enough to not be as concerned with what happens to their future,” she explained.
Ipsos questioned people in China, Turkey, Russia, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, the United States, Argentina, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, France, Spain, Belgium, Canada, Australia, Italy, South Africa, Great Britain, Indonesia, Germany. source – Reuters
Massive Solar Flares Largest In 5 Years Racing Towards Earth
Mar 7th
Shades of 2012
The largest solar flare in five years is racing toward Earth, threatening to unleash a torrent of charged particles that could disrupt power grids, GPS and airplane flights.
The sun erupted Tuesday evening, and the effects should start smacking Earth around 7 a.m. EST Thursday, according to forecasters at the federal government’s Space Weather Prediction Center. They say the flare is growing as it speeds outward from the sun.

‘It’s hitting us right in the nose,’ said Joe Kunches, a scientist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He called it the sun’s version of ‘Super Tuesday.
The solar storm is likely to last through Friday morning, but the region that erupted can still send more blasts our way, Kunches said. He said another set of active sunspots is ready to aim at Earth right after this.
But for now, scientists are waiting to see what happens Thursday when the charged particles hit Earth at 4 million mph.

US Secretary of Defense Panetta Believes Israel Will Attack Iran By Spring 2012
Feb 2nd
There, he said it
US secretary of defense is concerned Israel will launch an attack before Iran enters so-called “immunity zone” when military strike won’t bust Iran’s nuclear facilities, ‘Washington Post’ reports.

United States Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta believes that Israel will attack Iran in April, May or June, the Washington Post reported Thursday.
United States Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta believes that Israel will attack Iran in April, May or June, the Washington Post reported Thursday.
According to the report, written by the paper’s senior opinion writer David Ignatius, Panetta is concerned that Israel will launch an attack before Iran enters the so-called “immunity zone” when its nuclear facilities will be heavily fortified and a military strike will no longer succeed.
Ignatius does not quote Panetta in the article but he is currently traveling with the secretary of defense in Brussels.
According to the article, Israel might decide to strike before Iran completes the fortification since afterward only America will be capable of stopping Iran militarily.
“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doesn’t want to leave the fate of Israel dependent on American action,” Ignatius wrote. According to the report, Israel’s strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities could last five days which would be followed by a United Nations-brokered ceasefire. source – JPost
2012! Huge Solar Eruption Sparks Strongest RADIATION STORM in 7 Years
Jan 23rd
The signs are everywhere
“Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Luke 21:26
A powerful solar eruption is expected to blast a stream of charged particles toward Earth tomorrow (Jan. 24), as the strongest radiation storm since 2005 rages on the sun.

Early this morning (0359 GMT Jan. 23, which corresponds to late Sunday, Jan. 22 at 10:59 p.m. EST), NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory caught an extreme ultraviolet flash from a huge eruption on the sun , according to the skywatching website Spaceweather.com.
The solar flare spewed from sunspot 1402, a region of the sun that has become increasingly active lately. Several NASA satellites, including the Solar Dynamics Observatory, the Solar Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO), and the Stereo spacecraft observed the massive sun storm. source – Space.com
2012 and the Sure Word of Bible Prophecy
Jan 7th
“For our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” Philippians 3:20,21
As America goes deeper in national sin, the West Coast is in great danger. There have been numerous major earthquakes all over the Pacific rim of fire but not on the West Coast. The West Coast is now LONG OVERDUE for huge earthquakes. This could be the year, as the homosexual agenda continues to advance.
HAARP’D To Death? 20 TONS Of Dead Fish Wash Up On Norwegian Beach

Thousands of dead herring have been discovered washed up on a north Norwegian beach – prompting Doomsday predictors to hail it as another sign the world is set to end.

Unexplained: Molly the dog seen walking around the tonnes of dead herring that have mysteriously appeared on a beach at Kvaenes in Nordreisa, northern Norway
More than 20 tonnes of the fish is currently carpeting the beach of Kvaenes, in Nordreisa, with experts views differing on how they have come to be there. One thing is for sure, it will provide welcome ammunition to those believing the Mayan prophecy that 2012 will bring the end of Earth.
Jan-Petter Jorgensen, 44, was walking with his dog Molly when he found the stinky haul.
He said: ‘People say that something similar happened in the 80s. Maybe the fish have been caught in a deprived oxygen environment, and then died of fresh water?’
Experts have said the school could have been trapped by tidal waters after predatory fish – such as coalfish – chased them towards the shoreline.
Another theory is that the fish were washed ashore during a recent storm, or trapped in shallow waters and affected by freshwater from a river that flows into the bay.
Jens Christian Holst, of the Institute of Marine Research, said several factors could have come together at once. And he said he hoped they would be able to conduct tests on the dead fish to see if they had died of a disease.
The incident in Norway is not the only mass death mystery over the New Year.On Sunday, thousands of blackbirds mysteriously fell from the sky in a small Arkansas town – although officials now believe the birds were targeted by someone with fireworks, experts say. source – Daily Mail UK
