Knesset Official In Israel Warns Of ‘Armageddon’ From Islamist Threat

TEL AVIV, Israel (CBSDC/AP) – Israeli Arabs protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv Thursday following the attacks on U.S. compounds in Libya, Egypt and Yemen. The Times of Israel reports about 100 peaceful demonstrators marched outside the embassy to protest the anti-Islam movie which mocks the prophet Muhammad.

A radical group called the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement led the demonstration, according to the Times of Israel. A top Israeli Arab Knesset official warned of “Armageddon” if the United Nations does not intervene.
“If the U.N. does not mobilize to stop this erosion, it will be Armageddon,” MK Talab el-Sana told the Israeli paper.
This is the latest round of protests on the heels of the attacks on U.S. compounds in Libya, Yemen and Egypt. U.S. ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three American personnel were killed at the Benghazi embassy, in which officials believe now may be part of a terrorist attack.
In Sanaa, Yemen, and Cairo, Egypt, thousands stormed the embassies and burned the American flag.
President Obama made separate calls Tuesday evening to the presidents of Libya and Egypt, urging them to work with the U.S. to ensure the safety of diplomatic personnel. Obama and Libyan President Mohamed Magariaf vowed to work together to identify the Benghazi attackers and “bring them to justice,” the White House said in a press release.
Obama told Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi “he rejects efforts to denigrate Islam, but underscored that there is never any justification for violence against innocents and acts that endanger American personnel and facilities,” the White House said.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called the “Innocence of Muslims” movie disgusting and reprehensible. source – CBS Washington

When our embassy in Egypt was attacked, the marines who were there to protect it couldn’t because they didn’t even have live ammo. Included in the dead is a former Navy Seal, who had to hide because he didn’t have the means to shoot back. Who is responsible for his death?

I agree with you, William. I have so many people in Heaven who have gone before me, including my children, 3 grandsons, and my husband. I want to see Jesus face-to-face and know that all the pain is gone and my celestial body will be whole forever, because my earthly body isn’t doing so well. Yet I think of loved ones here who still aren’t saved, and the thought of them not going to meet the Lord with me, really breaks my heart.

I know it’s hard, Val. My youngest son was over there, he was shot in the back by a sniper, and lived. Then his Humvee hit an IED and he suffered burns on his face, neck, arms and hands. When they sent him to Germany to the hospital, they took great care of him, but when he and the others arrived at the airport in N. Carolina, protesters shouted that they should have died, and held signs that said, “Thank God for IED’s.” They are lucky mama wasn’t there. I know how hard it is to think of your loved one’s being in the middle of war, but those who go, do so out of love of God and country. They aren’t forced like our military during Vietnam was. Our military now is volunteer, so instead of hollering about it, why don’t you do something constructive like adopt a soldier through Soldiers’ Angels, or go to the Veteran’s Site and buy something there because a portion of every sale goes to feed a homeless vet?

Our “leaders” continue to condemn the video they claim was at fault, the cause of all this anger. Even the Libyan gov’t. says that is just an excuse! The leader of al-Quaeda in their country called for an uprising to repay the death of his second. They just reported riots in five countries are going on, and Obama’s campaigning! Many will b saved who knew not my name, neither were saved in jesus name. Many will also come to my door saying have i not prayed in ur name and sooke of u daily. And HE will say to them, turn away from the kingdom of heaven for i know u not. Many will enter the kingdom knowing not the name of Jesus, but following his laws, as many who claim to b saved in the name of jesus will b turned away for they were under the law. Take faith that you will see your loved ones in heaven. Some will just have to suffer for 1000 more years on earth bfore they get to the eternal kingdom. Yes marie, what are u talking about. U do not understand the quran, as well as im quite sure u do not understand the bible either…as they r both truth. It is just the leaders who teach them in their own distorted ways to people looking for peace after a traumatic event in their life. The churches prey on the weak and fragile only teaching portions of the bible and quran to keep their churches full. Tho neither book allows for churches made of mans hands or men to teach people what the scripture means. Only God can teach man the truth by the power of the holy spirit. As far as the military of our country. It is a sad state. The men who fought in previous wars, my fathers and grandfathers who died in those wars were drafted, but they fought for the love of our country with their heart and soul for their fellow man. Small matter, but important to me. Those men who went to Viet Nam were not forced to go. Yes, we had a draft then, but only the Army drafted. Navy, Marines, and Air Force were all volunteers. Many Army personnel were also volunteers. Nobody really wants to go to war, but special people have always stood up when called upon to do a job that many will not. I admire them all, and thank them for their service.
