@James, and everyone else, Jesus is the only prophet who ever said, “I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except through me.” I know it sounds bigoted, but even if the Muslims respect Jesus as a prophet, then they have to respect what He said, and that’s what He said. He also claimed to be God. John 8:58, Jesus said, “Most assuredly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” I AM is God. Jesus claimed that He was and is God. If He is respected as a prophet, then His words are also respected, and these are His words. You cannot believe that He was a prophet and told the truth unless you also believe that He is God, because that’s what He said. And yes, it is hard to understand and believe that God would take on the form of man and allow Himself to be killed. But this is why He did it, if you look at the news, and you look at the ways of man, how he goes about killing, raping, stealing, lying etc. how he blasphemes God, then you understand that the ways of men are wickedness. Romans 3:10 “There are none righteous, not one.” Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Apart from Christ, every man is a sinner. No religion offers salvation or the forgiveness of sins, there is only the hope that if one works hard enough then maybe God will look at the “good” works of his hand and bless him. But the truth is, because man is so wicked, his wickedness will always outway his good. The only one who offers forgiveness is Jesus Christ. He can offer forgiveness because He Himself was a man, and died as a man, yet He was a man without sin. The reason His forgiveness is eternal is because He is God, and He lives on forever. After Jesus died on the cross, He rose from the dead three days later and was taken up into heaven and now reigns at the right hand of God the Father (Jesus is God the Son, yes I know confusing considering that God is one. But He doesn’t ask us to understand, only trust and believe His word.). He was the blood sacrifice that was the requirement for us to receive forgiveness. Surely even Muslims are familiar with sacrifices to wipe away a mans sin. Yet, an animal can never really take away the sin of man. This was a picturetype of Jesus Christ. In order for the sins of man to be atoned for, a man, a sinless man, without spot or blemish had to be sacrificed. Jesus was the man. And because no man is capable of not sinning, it took God, Jesus, who is the son of God, to take the form of a man and die for the sins of mankind. Since Jesus is the only one who is able to cleanse man of all sin and offer forgiveness, it is by His name and His name only that man can receive salvation and the forgiveness of sins. Yes, there are many religions in the world. But just as in math, just because the student had many answers, does not make them all right. 2 and 2 are always 4, no matter how many times someone writes 3 or 5, 4 is the answer. Jesus Christ is God and it is by Him only that man can receive forgiveness for his sins and once again be reconciled to God.
Please, do not judge Jesus on the basis of his followers. Just as not all Muslims are like those who did this act, not all people who claim to be Christians are actually following Jesus. Even the Bible warns us not to look to other people to redeem our own spirituality. We are to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and it should be our personal goal to abide by His commands. And yes, His command is to tell others about the truth, the truth He wrote in His word, the Bible. And one of the last warnings written in the Bible is that no one should add to or take away from His words or all the curses mentioned in the Bible will be added to that man or woman. (Revelation 22:18-19) So if one adds the Q’ran, or the Book of Mormon, or the Catcheism, or any other thing, He has denied the words of the living God and has brought on a curse upon himself and all who follow him.

It is fine for you to not agree, but please do not argue with me, I am only writing what I have gotten from my Father in Heaven, His word, the Bible.
