“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51,21 (KJV)

The Pretribulation Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ is clearly taught in both the Old and New Testaments. It is taught so strongly that the door is tightly shut to the possibility of it being anything other than before the time of Jacob’s trouble, otherwise known as the Great Tribulation. Not only that, the Bible says that the Rapture of the Church will be “after the winter” and in the Springtime.

To me this is tribulation what with what is happening in the Middle East with the Christians being murdered and tortured.

  • Serious question: If its in the spring, then it’s not imminent, since it can’t come till March, and then we are locked into a March-June window every year, correct? Where is the spring passage and could it be a metaphor or symbolic?

  • I agree with the bible that the tribulation is pretrib. based on a verse in 1thess. 5 that says we are not appointed to wrath but unto salvation, and that by Jesus Christ. God’s wrath is the tribulation, and the salvation God is talking about in this verse is not eternal life salvation but salvation from the tribulation proves 100 percent that the rapture is pretribulation. this is all i need to know to know. it only takes one verse. and that verse is given to us by our gentile apostle Paul. Now this is true right division, for the rapture is unknown before Paul, so to go outside of Paul’s epistles to prove the rapture is wrongly dividing the word of truth. Oh, one more thing, we are not born again, we are new creatures in Christ, and members of Christ’s body, the body of Christ. born again belongs exclusively to israel.

    where has everyone gone?

  • Glad to see this beginning again! Thanks!

My heart aches at the topic of rapture. The rupture about the rapture must stop–whenever it comes–pre-mid-post-not secret, etc… Salvation and eternal life with our Lord are our greatest promises. We are truly turning the rapture into an idol.

I’m also concerned that too many listen to videos from whomever, all with diverging views, many unschooled in the word. The listeners do not read the word and are fed by these videos or content on the internet. This is very troubling.

Please let’s all make the word of God first. I also feel that the Lord feels the same. Be rooted in Him. Look no further than the Bible. Then listen to men with the discernment acquired.

It’s time to solid Bereans, die to self and speak the Spirit of God.

  • My friend I study endtime prophecies. Jacob’s trouble is the last three and a half years of tribulation known as the great tribulation. Jesus said “when you shall see the abomination of desolation, soken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in that holy place” there is record in Scripture that says we will miss the first three and a half years. Unless taken out of context. Please show me scripture that says otherwise, not interpretation. God bless you.

  • Donna R Brown

    Count me in!

  • Not going to happen. Read John 17.

  • tasdgs, you are clueless to right division obviously, and i am waisting my breath with you but you need to get your text from Paul’s epistles, not Matthew, Mark, Luke and john. go to whomever will and learn to rightly divide the word of truth.

  • “contributer”, the rapture is not our idol, duh, it is our blessed hope titus 2:13. we are to be looking for the rapture, not denying it, or sticking our heads up our 5th point of contact like you would suppose believers in Christ should. stop playing the devils advocate.

  • tasdgs, too many stupid people like you argue against the factual pretribulation rapture, that is quickly approaching, maybe even 2 Oct 16.. anyone who denys the pretribulation rapture should have to stay and go through the 7 year tribulation of God’s wrath on all Chirst-rejectors, If I was God, and i am not, i’d condemn all pretrib. rapture deniers with all litterbugs, and every other christ denier. Just saying, and the woman who posted that we are already in the tribulation hasn’t a clue, duh.

  • Lynne Kelley

The Bible says at the LAST trump, which will be blown at the end of the Woes…before the battle of Armageddon. And the church will not be in the last half of the trib, because she will be taken out to her “place of safety” for the last 3 and a half years…..In Revelation 12, John says that she will go to a place prepared for her and when the dragon, the devil, sees she is there safe, that he is enraged and goes to make war with her remnant seed who follow the commands of God…to persecute her. That will be the saints who weren’t ready for the flight to the place of safety, and so the devil will be trying to destroy the church’s remnant…the church is supernaturally saved out of it and brought to a place high where the eagles nests are…then at the battle of Armageddon, the church will return with Christ to earth on white horses to annihilate the ones left here. Those left here will witness and convert many lost during those 3 and a half years but it will be persecuted greatly because of the mark of the beast and the hate that Satan has towards God’s elect. . REVELATION CHAPTER 12….13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16 But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

  • What verses have brought you to this:

“Bible says that the Rapture of the Church will be “after the winter” and in the Springtime.”

  • I’ll be listening

  • Well then ……..lets all just go out and live like a bunch of heathens until closer to time! Nobody is listening anyway so lets take it all the way back to Sodom and Gomorrah!

  • Rolly

Really Geoffrey, if you need to keep repeating this statement then it would appear you are trying to convince yourself of this lie.

  • Jim Black

    Greetings brother Geoff,

It’s been a while since I shared some things with you. How about this one? Matt. 16:27: “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.” Then in Rev. 11:17,18 Jesus comes to destroy the wicked and reward the prophets and saints. Both of these verses are post trib. Doesn’t pre trib theory say the saints will be rewarded after the rapture up in heaven?

    • There are three categories of saints we find in the Bible, and they are:

1). Old Testament Saints. “God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.” Psalm 89:7 (KJV)
2). New Testament Saints. “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:” 1 Corinthians 1:2 (KJV)
3). Tribulation Saints. “For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.” Revelation 16:6 (KJV)

Old Testament saints and Tribulation saints receive their rewards at the Great White Throne Judgement, where also the unsaved dead will be judged. These two events happen at the same time and same places as seen here: “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:18 (KJV)

New Testament Saints – the Body of Christ – receive their reward the Judgement Seat of Christ that happens after the Rapture. “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” Revelation 5:9 (KJV)

  • Jim Black

Good point Sola. The rapture will not be imminent until Luke 21:28 which is AFTER the tribulation of those days (Matt. 24:29). This is when to look for His coming.

  • Rolly, that sounds like Marvin Rosenthal’s pre-wrath position. If a person reads the Bible as it is written, and not what it is presumed to teach, it is plainly seen that the blessed hope (Titus 2:13) is taught and that of a pre-trib position (Rev. 4:1).

John the beloved (the Church is the beloved – Eph. 5:25) is in the Spirit in Heaven before all hell breaks loose on earth. The Church is not found anywhere on earth between Revelation 4 & 18. The Church comes back on white horses in Revelation 19 following Jesus Christ.

The Tribulation time period is Daniel’s 70th week. A week in the Bible regarding this timeline is 7 years (Gen. 29:27). Salvation during this time reverts back to the OT where a man must live by faith and works. That’s why in Matthew it is stated about enduring to the end. That’s another reason why folks get all out of sorts when it comes to Hebrews and James. These books are aimed at an individual in the Tribulation.

The angel that appears to John in Revelation is clearly Daniel, and Daniel was a prophet to the Jews in the OT.

If the scriptures are not compared to the scriptures, and rightly divided, you’ll end up in a big mess following all these Bible apostates who are fleecing the sheep to make a buck. People need to get back to reading the Bible, not just books about the Bible.

  • Clay

Look at ll Thessolonians 2: 1, & 3. This is the rapture. Gathering away unto Him and the Church falling away. We are here now. Plus, the Jews just picked a High Priest for the new Temple they want to build now. Put it together you “post tosties”.
    MARANATHA !!!.
Explain this tonight Geoff to them.

  • gary morel

No where in scripture does it speak about rapture of the church.

  • gary morel

Lynne Kelley you speak to the TRUTH of the matter as there will be no rapture, but a ” PLACE OF SAFETY ” as scripture indicates. Thank You for writing the TRUTH !!! God bless you and keep you in the dark days ahead.

  • gary morel

  • DeniseC

Lynne, I believe the ones taken to a safe place (Petra/Selah) are the Jews. The church will already begone.

  • DeniseC

I feel sorry for those who do not live with the Blessed Hope, watching every day for our Savior to take us to Heaven. Religious pride and indoctrination keep them from seeing the PTR. Some aren’t meant to see, while others are “wise [and] shall understand.” Paul said it was a mystery that not all would sleep, the dead shall rise first, and we which are alive and remain will meet Him in the clouds when the trumpet sounds. Also, people will be doing much the same, everyday things: eating, drinking, marrying, and He will come in the twinkling of an eye. If all hell has broken loose on the earth and much of the food and water are destroyed, then business definitely isn’t going on as usual, and planning a wedding would be the last thing on anyone’s mind—survival would be. To me, that’s one of the best arguments for the PTR.

  • DeniseC

To Geoffrey, I have noticed there is a delay in the posting of comments; they do not show up immediately as they used to do. I’ve also noticed that the “ads” on your sight now appear between the article and the comments, rather than at the very bottom where they used to be. Has this change affected postings? Third, when I go to your page it takes longer to load and is dark blue for about 30 seconds before the text appears.
It’s not a major issue, but sometimes I get a comment in email and go to reply and can’t find it on the site yet. It’s nice to have the comment right there to see and respond to it, rather than having to go back and forth to my email to remember what was said.

I tend to take after my mom, who always said, “Lord give me patience, but hurry!” 🙂

    • Yes, we have been doing some server updates this weekend, sorry for the slowdown but it was necessary. Things are back up and running at full speed now.. Always make sure that you delete your CACHE and COOKIES on a regular basis, and use Chrome to view our site in. Thanks for writing! 🙂

  • Gerry

Will Trump or Hillary be there? I doubt if “Saint” Teresa will even be amongst the raptured…. but then again only God knows, right?

  • @ Gary Morel: Rapture is the feeling of pleasure we will have when we will be “changed in the twinkling of an eye” from I Corinthians 15.51-52. It is not always about the exact word. Study the Greek or different English words for “changed”. You might be surprised!

  • Donna R Brown

There is a word in the Greek I believe, that means a “catching away,” or being “caught up.” We will be caught up in the air with Him. I just love Him for that!!!! What a loving Saviour!!!!

  • DeniseC

The Greek word is ‘harpazo.’ Here’s a short teaching on it.

  • Donna R Brown

Thanks, Denise! That’s exactly what I was looking for!

  • Clay

For Gary and the others, what do you think the “meeting the Lord in the clouds” is? To say hi, and go back down and wait for my 2nd coming and, by the way y’all have to go through the Tribulation; sorry. I’m not being mean; use common sense, good grief. Paul is speaking to the “church-Bride, in this new era called the “Church age”. (US) do I get an AMEN?

  • CHAR

Clay, AMEN, fella! You are absolutely correct. Now pass the plate!

  • Marian

Geoff, I started the study live and had to stop to digest what you shared before completing it this morning. I must say you’ve opened my eyes to the timing of the Pre-trib Rapture of the Church!!

I’m disappointed that the timing is not at the Feast of Trumpets because that would be in a few weeks. But I want the truth and your study convinced me that the spring is the time of our blessed hope.

Thank you for all your work. I can only imagine the hits you take for your boldness in your service to the Lord. You surely will have many jewels in your crowns to cast at the feet of Jesus!

    • Amen! Then all the time and labor it took to bring last night’s show was worth it. Feast Of Trumpets is for the Jews, because they have actual Trumpets to deal with during the time of Jacob’s trouble. The “trumpet” for the Church is a VOICE that sounds like a trumpet.

Next on another website not named Now The End Begins….

The Absolute, 100% Certainty That Many Men Will Be Wrong About Their Dogmatic Interpretations Of Scripture

  • Oh. So your saying that I should just forget about what Christ said in the Gospels? In your opinion, does St. Paul have more knowledge of things that The Lord Jesus Christ? Are you not placing the Apostle Paul ahead of Christ?

  • 1. When did I ever say that I rejected Christ Jesus?

    2. Where, in Scripture, does it state that if you are a pre-trib rapture denier then you reject Christ?

    3. Did you know that there are many Evangelicals who are turning away from the pre-trib rapture idea? Did you also know that the person who developed the pre-trib rapture idea(John Darby) was heavily influenced by the occult?

  • Your Rapture Message was Manna from Heaven – I’m grieving that God is allowing Satan to remove the KJV – I had just completed this final website and here you came. I have been getting must info from your website which has been the best. Please, please, don’t quit you are the best resource out there. We are guilty of not letting you know. You are monthly in my newsletter. I have been on the web since 1996 with Cephas Ministry and am going through much warfare since 2012. I was instructed to the a few days ago and here you come with the good news. The Bible absolutely confirms the Pre-Tribulation Rapture
God bless you and keep you standing for the truth. We need you desperately,
    Shalom Rita Williams

    • Thank you so very much, really appreciate that. So glad the show was a blessing to you!

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJV)

  • Jim Black

    Thanks for your reply.

    One question:

“For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.” Revelation 16:6 (KJV)

Other than belief in pre trib rapture, what scripture could you point to that says these are only “tribulation saints?”

    • That’s very simple. The apostle Paul clearly teaches in multiple places that born again Christians are “sealed in” by the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. Kinda like when you get in a roller coaster and the harness is put over you so you cannot fall out. We call this the doctrine of Eternal Security, as seen here:

“That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:12-14 (KJV)

Now, placing Christians in the time of Jacob’s trouble introduces a FATAL flaw. Since we have eternal security that is based on the actions of both Jesus on the cross and the Holy Spirit at salvation – meaning it is out of our control – that means a Christian can NEVER lose their salvation. But in the Tribulation, salvation can be lost just like it was for Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5. One day they were in, then they grievously sinned, and then they were not only out God killed them.

Revelation says in 2 places that ANYONE taking the Mark of the Beast will NOT be forgiven under any circumstances. It becomes the UNFORGIVABLE SIN during that time, as seen here:

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:9-11 (KJV)

Imagine the distraught believing mother who takes the Mark only to get food to feed her starving little baby. Certainly God will understand she only took the Mark so her baby wouldn’t die, right? Wrong. She takes that Mark, she goes to Hell, no forgiveness no second chance. Ever. Obviously that is in stark contrast to the teachings of the apostle Paul, our apostle in the Church Age.

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30 (KJV)

So based on the evidence of scripture, we conclude that the saints in the Tribulation are NOT the saints of the Church Age who are eternally secure.

And I never had to mention the Rapture one time.

  • Shakeeta Garrett

Amen I need no videos Gods word is final .We need not be bothered with the timing of the tribulation period. We simply must be ready for Christ tells the true believer that he comes like a theif in the night. I know that if it happens in my lifetime that I will be caught up with the Lord that is all I need to know . For I am saved by grace.

  • Pete

But nowhere is the catching away defined as being taken to heaven.

  • gary morel

Too bad for all those christian brothers and sisters in the middle east that the” PRE -TRIB” RAPTURE didn’t happen for them huh ? YA’ you know , the hundreds if not thousands that were tortured and butchered for there faith in Christ and still are to this day !!!

  • gary morel
  • Pete

Well, that was certainly a disappointing 2 hours. Not surprising, but still disappointing. Geoff spent most of the 2 hours allegorizing the Old Testament. He never proved, with scripture, that the “time of Jacob’s Trouble” is Daniel’s 70th week or a 7 year time of hell on earth. Never proved with scripture that “the rapture” means Christians being whisked away into heaven when God is, to be rescued from this 7 years of hell. Nor did Geoff show that the Bible says the fig tree represents Israel, or that our “blessed hope” is this rapture thing. He said that Christians are a “Gentile bride” without any Bible verse that says so.

He just stated all of those things as if they are fact, without ONE SINGLE BIBLE VERSE.

You know why? Because he doesn’t have any. This is exactly how the pre-trib view has gained such a foothold throughout the past 150 years. People stand up in front of an audience, and with great swelling words proclaim Thus Saith the Lord.

And anyone who disagrees is shut down, shouted down, called an “unbeliever”, called a “Jew hater.”

Be careful, people. Read the Bible for yourself, as Geoffrey urged.

  • gary morel

    Amen Pete. AMEN.

  • Pete

DeniseC, the “blessed hope” is the appearing of Christ. Not being whisked to heaven.

  • Pete

Clay, the idea is that Jesus is on His way to earth and the newly resurrected saints and those who have yet to die, meet Him in the air and the clouds (of earth not heaven) and escort Jesus to earth. And thus we shall ever be with Him.

There isn’t a single passage that teaches anyone will ever be taken up into heaven.

  • Tracy

Almost every time you post to this site you are ridiculing Geoffrey. Why? Is it not in you heart to be nice? I do wonder about you and your belief, and the possibility of misleading people. That’s a scary thought.
I agree with you regarding a pre trib rapture. The bible clearly reads like it to me.
And, I agree with Denise C. in a post above, she stated: ” people will be doing much the same, everyday things: eating, drinking, marrying, and He will come in the twinkling of an eye. If all hell has broken loose on the earth and much of the food and water are destroyed, then business definitely isn’t going on as usual, and planning a wedding would be the last thing on anyone’s mind—survival would be. To me, that’s one of the best arguments for the PTR.” I have always thought this, if we are in the tribulation, we certainly won’t be marrying and giving in marriage, etc. when our Lord returns. However, we will be going about our business as usual when the clouds part, and Jesus calls us up into the clouds to meet Him in the air in a pre trib rapture. So, it sure reads like pre trib to me.

    • The Lord gives me patience with the attackers, you see, I was not always Pretrib. 26 years ago, when I got saved, I fell under the teachings of apostate Harold Camping from Family Radio. Old Harry was a Replacement Theology teaching post tribber. But shortly after the Lord led me to some really good, really strong Christian brothers at a local Baptist church who taught me how to RIGHTLY DIVIDE. Once I learned how to do that, I have been a Pretribber ever since. Nearly 25 years now. When anyone learns how to rightly divide, you see INSTANTLY how God has one plan for the Jews and Israel, and another plan for the Church. Once you can see that, then you KNOW why Hebrews and James is NOT doctrine for the Church Age, you KNOW why Matthew and Acts are TRANSITIONAL books, and so on and so forth.

  • DeniseC

Thanks, Tracy. I am not one to claim I know it all when it comes to the bible, but I do have common sense. You gotta love Pete’s audacity to come on here time and again and tell everyone how wrong they are.
BTW, you must have missed the memo: I just got lambasted for supporting Geoffrey and actually expecting other Christians to be civil toward him and each other. You will probably get a tongue-lashing from some for doing the same! I was told it’s not my job to defend him, but apparently others have the job to criticize him.

And we wonder why the worldly ones find Christians to be hypocrites!
