Thomas Grafton, who stabbed 15 people in a Chanukah celebration was connected to the Black Supremacist group called Black Hebrew Israelites
In a month of terrible anti-Semitic attacks, including a stabbing yesterday of multiple people at a Hanukkah celebration at a rabbi’s home in Monsey, New York, the news that most depressed me did not involve violence. It was not something done to Jews but something Jews did. A synagogue in the Netherlands is no longer publicly posting the times of prayer services. If you want to join a service, you have to know someone who is a member of the community.
“For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.” Joshua 11:20 (KJV)
Do not misunderstand me. I was and am in a fury over the multiple assaults, culminating in the Monsey attack, which was the worst since the murders in Jersey City, which, some readers might not realize, was less than three weeks ago.
In Europe and the United States, Jews have been repeatedly assaulted on the street. Tombstones were desecrated in Slovakia. In London, anti-Semitic graffiti was paintedon synagogues and Jewish-owned stores. A Belgian daily newspaper accused a lawmaker who is Jewish of being a spy for Israel. A Polish town refused to install small brass plates that commemorate Holocaust victims. In Italy, the town of Schio did the same because, the mayor said, they would be “divisive.” (Divisive to whom?) This intolerance is coming from right-wing extremists, progressive leftists, and other minorities who, themselves, are often the object of persecution. Anti-Semites seem to think it is open season on Jews. And maybe, given the many incidents, they are right.
So why has the news that a synagogue in the Netherlands stopped posting the time of services upset me above all? Because it is vivid proof that anti-Semitism is driving Jews underground in the West.
For some time now, many kippah-wearing Jews have adopted the habit of wearing baseball caps when visiting Europe. Young people think twice before wearing Israeli-flag T-shirts when they wander the streets of Paris. Or before carrying a backpack with the name of their Jewish youth group prominently displayed. A number of years ago, I met a Jewish woman from Brussels who told me that she had asked her teenage children not to wear their Jewish-star necklaces in public. She acknowledged that she was embarrassed to have asked them and relieved when they agreed.
During a trip to Berlin, a friend gave me directions to an out-of-the-way synagogue. After some intricate explanations, he added that if I got lost, I should look for police on the street with submachine guns. “That,” he noted, “would be the entrance to the synagogue.” But I should also keep watch for men in baseball caps and follow them. “They will lead you to the synagogue.” I did get lost, and followed some men in baseball caps as instructed. I was relieved when I saw the police. I had found it.
For many years, Jews have known that when visiting a European synagogue, they must bring their passport with them and expect to be interrogated by guards outside the door. I now call ahead to let a synagogue know that I am coming. And that does not always guarantee entry. A few years ago, I was turned away from a synagogue in Rome.
There are many sects which refer to themselves with variations of the name Black Hebrew Israelites. Some, but not all, are outspoken anti-Semites and racists. It should be emphasized that the extremist and anti-Semitic sects of Black Hebrew Israelites are unrelated to the thousands of black Jews and other Jews of color in the US, who are genuine members of the Jewish faith. Furthermore, they should not be confused with Ethiopian Jews who mostly live in Israel today. Anti-Semitic Black Hebrew Israelites assert that white people are agents of Satan, Jews are liars and false worshipers of God, and blacks are the true “chosen people” and are racially superior to other ethnicities. Jews have been living defensively for a long time. But when a synagogue, as a precaution, decides not to post the time of services, we have reached a new level. In Spain in the 15th century, many Jews sought safety from persecution by converting to Christianity but secretly maintained their Jewish practices. They lit Shabbat candles in inner reaches of their homes where no one from the street could see, and eschewed eating pork or shellfish. They became what Spaniards called Marranos, a term of degradation comparable in some ways to kike. Some Jews who converted did not maintain the traditions. This did not, of course, guarantee their safety when the Church, state authorities, and the mob began to seek out Marranos for persecution.
I use the term, however reluctantly, because it captures what I am seeing today. Most Jewish students on American campuses have not been subjected to overt acts of discrimination or verbal abuse. But many among them feel they have something to lose if they openly identify as Jews. If they are active in Hillel, the Jewish student organization, they may be informally barred from being active in progressive causes—for example, racial and LGBTQ equality, climate-change mitigation, and the fight against sexual assault. Those who want to be elected to student government are learning to scrub their résumés clean of any overtly Jewish or pro-Israel activities. They are not abandoning their Jewish identity; they are hiding it. They have become Marranos.
When Jews feel it is safer for them to go “underground” as Jews, something is terribly wrong—wrong for them and, even more so, wrong for the society in which they live. Jews have taken and are taking anti-Semitism very seriously. Non-Jews must do the same.
You must do so, not solely for the sake of the well-being of your Jewish neighbors, friends, and fellow citizens. (Though that would be laudable.) You must do so for the sake of the well-being of the societies in which you live. No healthy democracy can afford to tolerate anti-Semitism in its midst. It is one of the long-term signs of rot in that democracy. If you care about democracy, you should care about the Jews among you, and the anti-Semites too. source
Who Are The Black Hebrew Israelites?
A quick video to show you who the Black Hebrew Israelites really are, and it’s not good. They call themselves “israelites” but they are not, they have no connection to the biblical Jews.
My father always said that he thought there would be another Holocaust. I didn’t want to believe this, but we are all seeing the signs. The Lord allowed me the privilege of leading my father to the Throne of Grace before he died. I am so grateful that my dad is in heaven and not witnessing the global anti Semitism which he feared would happen.
We know that Satan loathes the Jewish people. This should not surprise remnant Christians who study God’s Word. Satan knows that the Jewish people are God’s Chosen. What many people miss is this: Jews are God’s Chosen because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth as a Jew. He gave His life to redeem those who would repent and trust Him for their Salvation. Guardian Angels Patrol Brooklyn Jewish Neighborhoods to Protect Jews, Provide ‘Visual Deterrence’
The Guardian Angels private crime prevention group have begun patrolling Brooklyn’s Jewish neighborhoods to provide “visual deterrence” following an ongoing rise in the number of anti-Semitic attacks against the city’s Jews.
Curtis Sliwa, who founded the unarmed group in 1979 promised in an interview with NBC News on Saturday evening their patrols would begin in the Crown Heights neighborhood. As promised, the patrols did indeed begin right on schedule. Sliwa said the patrols would expand to the Williamsburg and Borough Park sections later in the day.
It wasn’t a moment too soon.
Within hours of that interview, a black man wearing a bulky winter coat walked into the synagogue at the Monsey home of a Hasidic rabbi late Saturday night where a Chanukah party was taking place, in the Forshay neighborhood in Monsey, at around 10:30 pm. From jewishpress.com
Suspect Held in Machete Attack at Rabbi’s Home in Monsey, NY
Thomas Grafton, 37 of Greenwood Lake, New York, was arrested Sunday morning and charged with five counts of attempted murder for the alleged anti-Semitic domestic terror attack in the synagogue. According to eyewitness reports, he allegedly opened the garment and began swinging a machete at the rabbi’s guests. Within moments, 15 people were injured, including five with serious wounds. One of the wounded is the rabbi’s own son; his status is not yet clear. Two are in critical condition; three others are seriously injured. All five were taken to local area hospitals.
CBS News reported that Grafton was arrested while driving a gray Nissan Sentra at the intersection of West 144th Street and Adam Clayton Boulevard in Harlem. He was taken to the NYPD 32nd Precinct for questioning.
Last week, there were eight anti-Semitic attacks perpetrated against Jews in Brooklyn, the New York Police Department (NYPD) reported. Among those attacks were four incidents that took place in the Chasidic Jewish section of Crown Heights, where Sliwa said the Guardian Angels decided to begin their patrols.
The most recent attack was that of a man who entered Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters at “770” Eastern Parkway on Friday morning and threatened to “shoot up the place” and kill all the Jews inside. He then fled the building and ran into the Utica Avenue subway station, witnesses said.
Police later tracked down the suspect as someone who was staying at a shelter in the Bronx and made the arrest, according to a report on the COLLive news site. Sliwa told NBC News that local Chabad leaders have asked the Guardian Angels’ help, and he believes patrols by his group can put a stop to the attacks.
“We’re a visual deterrence in our red berets and our red satin jackets,” Sliwa said. “Nobody’s going to commit an attack when we’re around.” If they do, he added, “We’ll physically restrain the persons responsible, make a citizen’s arrest and hold them until the police arrive.”
The strategy is similar to that carried out by the Shmira civil patrol in the neighborhood. However, it is believed the impact of Guardian Angels’ involvement in the mix is likely to be more intimidating, and far more likely to quiet things down, than the simple involvement of the Chasidic Shmira patrol. source
The Left Wing media are holding back the obvious – Thomas Grafton, who stabbed 15 people in a Chanukah celebration (one who is not expected to regain consciousness – his picture at the top of this article) was obviously connected to the Black Supremacist group called Black Hebrew Israelites (BHI).
This group is a Domestic Terrorist organization who claim that they alone are true Israelites, and that white Jews are NOT truly Jews. They are violent and searching for Orthodox Jews; they want to kill all of them. And BHI want all white Jews to be killed as well. The Orthodox Jews are easier to spot because of their appearance.
Brethren, I believe that we are extremely close to the end. The signs are everywhere. I am praying for my Jewish people to have their eyes and hearts opened, and see that Jesus (Yeshua) is the Messiah of Israel and of the whole world.
But realistically, I do not believe that many of them will be born again. Sadly, most Jews are Secular. They will be facing the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, which will be much worse than Hitler’s Holocaust; much worse than anything people on the earth have experienced.
Israel will accept Antichrist as Messiah but 3 1/2 years into the Tribulation (the Great Tribulation) their eyes will be opened to the truth of Yeshua. 2/3 of Israel with be slaughtered by Antichrist. 1/3 will flee to the hills.
But still, we should be praying for all of the Jewish people and all of our unsaved friends and loved ones. They have no clue as to what is coming.
