The Trump administration is seeking contractors to help it overhaul the United States’ immigrant detention system in a plan that includes renovating industrial warehouses to hold more than 80,000 immigrant detainees at a time

Question: if you wanted to construct concentration camps all across America, but didn’t want people to think you were building such camps, how could you do it openly and publicly without arousing undue suspicion? You would say that these camps were being built to hold illegal immigrants that were being deported, and the crowd goes wild. But after you’ve deported a finite number of people, what would then become with the camps you spent billions of dollars to build? You would have to use them for something. Hmm, let me think for a minute, don’t tell me, I’ll get it.

Don’t get me wrong, like most of you, I am absolutely in favor of removing anyone and everyone who entered into our sovereign nation illegally, as long as it’s done as humanely as possible. That said, just about any student of 20th century history knows that when Adolf Hitler began using old military bases to house political dissidents, and that light bulb went off over his head, he knew right away he was onto something that could be easily sold to a gullible public. ICE documents reveal plan to hold 80,000 immigrants in warehouses

FROM THE WASHINGTON POST: Rather than shuttling detainees around the country to wherever detention space is available, as happens now, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement aims to speed up deportations by establishing a deliberate feeder system, the document says. Newly arrested detainees would be booked into processing sites for a few weeks before being funneled into one of seven large-scale warehouses holding 5,000 to 10,000 people each, where they would be staged for deportation.

The large warehouses would be located close to major logistics hubs in Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Georgia and Missouri. Sixteen smaller warehouses would hold up to 1,500 people each.

The draft solicitation is not final and is subject to changes. ICE plans to share it with private detention companies this week to gauge interest and refine the plan, according to an internal email reviewed by The Post. A formal request for bids could follow soon after that.

Tricia McLaughlin, a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security, said she “cannot confirm” The Post’s reporting and declined to answer questions about the warehouse plan.

NBC and Bloomberg News previously reported on ICE’s internal discussions about using warehouses as detention centers. The full scope of the project, the locations of the facilities and other details contained in the solicitation have not been previously disclosed or reported.

The warehouse plan would be the next step in President Donald Trump’s campaign to detain and deport millions of immigrants, which began with a scramble to expand the nation’s immigrant detention system, the largest in the world. Armed with $45 billion Congress set aside for locking up immigrants, his administration this year revived dormant prisons, repurposed sections of military bases and partnered with Republican governors to build immigrant tent encampments in remote regions.

The administration has deported more than 579,000 people this year, border czar Tom Homan said earlier this month on the social media platform X. The new facilities will “maximize efficiency, minimize costs, shorten processing times, limit lengths of stay, accelerate the removal process and promote the safety, dignity and respect for all in ICE custody,” the solicitation said.

“We need to get better at treating this like a business,” ICE acting director Todd M. Lyons said at a border security conference in April, according to the Arizona Mirror. The administration’s goal, he said, was to deport immigrants as efficiently as Amazon moves packages: “Like Prime, but with human beings.” READ MORE

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told reporters Wednesday that FEMA does not have enough funding to last the rest of the year even as it has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on migrants under the Biden administration and more hurricanes could be on the way.

In California, they spend so much money on funding their ‘sanctuary city’ for illegal immigrants coming across the border, that they have no money left over for forest management. What does that mean? It means that when a forest fire starts, the forest floor is already filled with excellent kindling wood that fuels their trademark catastrophic fires that happen on a regular basis. Today, DHS flak Mayorkas gave us the grim news that FEMA is broke after spending nearly a billion on funding illegal migrants, with no money left for hurricane victims in Asheville, North Carolina.

FEMA runs out of money for Hurricane Helene victims while spending hundreds of millions on migrants

FROM KPVI 6 NEWS: DHS oversees FEMA, putting Mayorkas in charge of the emergency relief agency which has recently been focused on helping migrants settle in the U.S.

“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have,” Mayorkas told reporters. “We are expecting another hurricane hitting. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.”

The startling admission by Mayorkas comes as FEMA grapples with the widespread damage of Hurricane Helene, A Category 4 hurricane that ripped through the southeast costing billions of dollars, causing widespread infrastructure damage, food shortages, and more than 100 deaths. Many are still unaccounted for as well. President Joe Biden said earlier this week he may call on Congress to pass more funding for FEMA.

In April of this year, FEMA announced $640 million in new funding, $300 million for “direct funding” to help immigrants settle in the U.S. while the other $340 million went to cities via grants for the same purpose.

 “Last year, more than $780 million was awarded through SSP and the Emergency Food and Shelter Program – Humanitarian Awards, which went to organizations and cities across the country,” FEMA said in its release.

While funding is allocated by Congress and money can be flexibly funneled through FEMA from other internal sources, Mayorkas’ comments still show that FEMA’s resources have been focused on migrants while it was left unprepared for this deadly hurricane season.

Illegal immigration has soared under the Biden-Harris administration with millions of migrants entering the U.S. and overwhelming the federal government’s ability to process them, let alone catch the millions of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border.

At least 12 million illegal immigrants have entered the U.S. under the Biden-Harris administration, though many experts estimate the figure is actually much higher. Hurricane season is expected to go through the end of November. READ MORE

Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua is terrorizing citizens in Denver Colorado and other sanctuary cities, let in by the open border policies of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris

For nearly four years now, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have carried out the open border policies of Barack Obama, and as a result, over 7,200,000 illegal immigrants have entered into the United States. One such group, Tren de Aragua, a prison gang from Venezuela, have come to settle in Sanctuary Cities all across America, with Denver Colorado being the largest inflection point. It is there that American citizens live in fear, locking themselves into their apartments behind steel security doors, as armed illegal immigrants roam about unchecked.

Tren de Aragua has set up shop in Aurora — which has a population of 390,000 and is situated directly east of the Mile-High City — seizing control of multiple apartment building and carrying out violent robberies, shootings and assaults, authorities say. Tren de Aragua, a prison gang hailing from the Aragua region of Venezuela, has been sending its members across the US-Mexico border for years while also recruiting within the US among migrant communities, mainly in New York, Denver and Chicago. Tren de Aragua’s leadership also recently gave a “green light” for its members to shoot and attack cops across the US. This is what the Biden-Harris administration has done to America, and this is what the Harris-Walz administration will continue.

Armed crew flaunts guns inside Colorado apartment building overrun by Venezuelan gang spilling out from sanctuary city: wild video

FROM THE NY POST: The group of heavily armed men — including three with handguns and one with a rifle — enter the troubled apartment complex in the Denver suburb of Aurora and break into a unit, the clip obtained by KDVR shows.

The footage was captured earlier this month, shortly before a shootout at the complex, The Edge at Lowry, severely injured one person and damaged multiple cars, according to the local news station. A separate clip taken at a different time shows two men bashing the lock of a unit with a tire iron inside the same housing complex, where migrants have moved in. Recent crime at the building has left residents of The Edge on edge.

“It’s been a nightmare and I can’t wait to get out of here,” Cindy Romero told KDVR as she moved out of the building with her husband, Edward.

The couple said the violence began when a large number of migrants moved into the building. They used five locks on their apartment door from top to bottom as well as a door security bar jammer.

“Every day when we come home, we have to do this every time we go outside to take out the garbage,” Cindy said, turning each lock. “Every time we go to bed at night. We have to keep like this so that nobody can kick in the door.”

Their car was one of the vehicles riddled with bullets after the shootout.

Directly east of Denver, Aurora has seen a flood of migrants itself — and crimes attributed to Tren de Aragua, a prison gang originating in the Aragua region of Venezuela.

The gang has infiltrated multiple states and other big cities like New York and Chicago after crossing into the US from the southern border. Multiple high-profile crimes including the murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley and the Big Apple shooting of two NYPD officers in June have been linked to members of the violent gang.
