The Book Of Amos Reveals Amazing Insight Into The Time Of Jacob’s Trouble And The Battle Of Armageddon

After 7 solid chapters of judgement on Israel in the time of Jacob’s trouble, God devotes the last 5 verses of Amos to describing Israel’s restoration.

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

This is the whole point behind the time of Jacob’s trouble, and one of the strongest reasons I know why the Church will not and cannot possibly be here for it. It has nothing to do with the Church, it is a JUDGEMENT on Israel.

Have you ever read through the little book of Amos of the Old Testament? Perhaps you glanced through it once or twice, but never really dug deep into it because, honestly, it just didn’t seem all that interesting. Well, too bad.

“The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.” Amos 6:8 (KJV)

Because if you like end time Bible prophecy, the book of Amos is one of the most exciting and revealing books in the Bible that describes tons of events that take place during the time of Jacob’s trouble.

“And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.” Amos 1;2 (KJV)

Verse two in the first chapter may sound familiar to you, especially if you read the book of Joel right before reading Amos. Amos 1:2 is a time clue reference, and it repeats what we read in Joel 3:16. So from that we know right from the opening of Amos, that the time in which Amos vision will take place will be in the time of Jacob’s trouble. Otherwise known as the Great Tribulation from Matthew 24, and Revelation 6 – 19.

Right off the bat, Amos launches into a series of intense judgments that fall on places connected with the time of Jacob’s trouble leading into the Second Coming of Jesus Christ at the Battle of Armageddon. Take a look at the list and you will see immediately what I mean:

  • Damascus in Syria, north of Galilee.
  • Gaza where the mythical present-day region of Palestine is located.
  • Tyrus north of Palestine.
  • Edom south of the Dead Sea.
  • Ammon east of Jordan, and above the Dead Sea.
  • Moab east of Jordan opposite the Dead Sea
  • Judah
  • Israel

If you have read our work entitled “The Real Meaning Of The Word Selah As Found In The King James Bible“, then all these places will immediately stand out to you. If not, please take a moment to read it now and get acquainted with these end times hot spots.

So as we travel through the opening chapters of the book of Amos, we see that God is drawing our attention to areas in the end times where His judgment is going to fall either at the beginning, middle or end of the Battle of Armageddon. This is the main thrust of Amos’ vision, he takes us from the start of judgement in the time of Jacob’s trouble, and ends up all the way with a restored Israel during the 1,000 Year Reign of Jesus Christ from Jerusalem.

But as you have already noted from our bullet point list, Israel is included in God’s judgments as well.

Starting in chapter 2, God begins laying out His grievances with His chosen people for their rebellion and iniquities, and by chapter 3 really lets them have it.

“Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.” Amos 3:1,2 (KJV)

God continues through chapters 4 and 5 describing the coming time of affliction to Israel for their transgressions. This is the whole point behind the time of Jacob’s trouble, and one of the strongest reasons I know why the Church will not and cannot possibly be here for it. It has nothing to do with the Church, it is a JUDGEMENT on Israel.

“Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel. The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.”Amos 5:1,2 (KJV)

Take modern-day Israel, right now in 2017. In just about 7 weeks from now, they will celebrate their 69th years of being regathered back in the Biblical land of Israel. It is an amazing fulfillment of Bible prophecy that they are even back there. They are the blooming fig tree from Matthew 24. But look closer at Israel, and what do you see? You see a nation that mentions the Lord God only in passing, as a point of historical interest, or parlaying their rich history into tourist dollars.

But Israel in 2017 has become the LGBTQP capital of the world in Tel Aviv, something for which the Bible says God destroyed both Sodom and Gomorrah. An article in the Boston Globe calls Tel Aviv “THE GAYEST CITY ON EARTH“. Any fear of God in their eyes? Nope. None at all.

And because Israel will not return to the LORD, the LORD is going to send judgement on His own chosen people the Jews, and in His own chosen land of Israel. He is going to do it with the judgments of fire, hail, pestilence and famine that the book of Revelation says will fall down from the sky, and by raising up the Antichrist to attack and besiege them from ground level.

Are you one of those people who are looking forward to the Day of the Lord? God warns you against it.  This is the opposite of what happens at the Rapture of the Church, which Paul says is our “blessed hope” and a “comfort”.

“Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?” Amos 5:18-20 (KJV)

Chapter after chapter, God delves deeper and deeper into why He is causing this time of judgment to fall on His own people. He is going to shake Israel and its inhabitants to their very core to remove from them the iniquity that is keeping them from a right relationship with Him.

“Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.” Amos 9:8,9 (KJV)

Then after 7 solid chapters of judgement on Israel in the time of Jacob’s trouble, God devotes the last 5 verses of Amos to describing Israel’s restoration. And it’s beautiful.

“In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.” Amos 9:11-15 (KJV)

Yes, Israel’s glory is yet still future, and it is amazing. But in order to get to that point, they will have to endure the greatest, single event of tribulation in human history. The vision of Amos tells us what’s coming for them, and more importantly why it’s coming for them.

The Church will not be here for this time, but you can right now pray for the Jewish people and for the nation of Israel. As Bible believers, we can see this coming from miles away, but they cannot. When the time of Jacob’s trouble begins, they will be utterly unaware what’s happening to them. Even though their own Book describes it in great and graphic detail.

“Behold, I have told you before.” Matthew 24:25 (KJV)

Why The King James Bible Uses ‘Atonement’ In Romans 5:11 And All The Modern Versions Change It To ‘Reconciliation’ Will Dramatically Increase Your Faith

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

In the Old Testament, sinners made the atonement to God for their sins, but in the New Testament, it is God that makes the atonement for sinners in Romans 5:11.

This is just a quick little Bible study that came to me today via an email question from NTEB’er Jill, who had had a lively discussion with her dad about the wording used by the King James in Romans 5:11. The crux of the conversation centered around why the King James is the only one to use the word ‘atonement’ when all the other version, no exceptions, used the word ‘reconciliation’. In fact, this is the one and only place in the entire New Testament that uses the word ‘atonement’. Certainly, the King James translators must have gotten it wrong if all 250+ other versions disagree. As it turns out yet again, the King James is right, and all the others are predictably wrong. Let’s see why this is.

“And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” Romans 5:11 (KJB)

The word atonement appears 81 times in the Bible, 80 times in the Old Testament and 1 time in the New Testament. Here’s the breakdown. All 80 places in the Old Testament where ‘atonement’ is mentioned, an atonement is being made, it is being offered. In Romans 5:11, the atonement is being RECEIVED. Huge difference. In the Old Testament, the guilty party is atoning to the offended party, it’s an offering given by sinners to God. In Romans the atonement has been made for us, not by us, the innocent paying a debt He didn’t owe, to us the guilty who have a debt we cannot pay. It’s the exact opposite. What was the atonement in Romans 5:11? It was Jesus Christ Himself! And you want to change that to ‘reconciliation’? Not on my watch, mister.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 (KJB)

So Romans 5:11 is MUCH more than a mere reconciliation, we can reconcile lost sinners to Jesus Christ, and in fact we are commanded to. But when we reconcile lost sinners to God by Jesus Christ, we are only able to do that because God has already provided the atonement.

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;” 2 Corinthians 5:18 (KJB)

In the Old Testament, atonement was what the people had to do, in the New Testament, ‘do’ has become ‘done’ and now we are told to receive something, not offer something. Now, I wonder who would want you to not know that? Hmm🤔

What do you lose when you have a modern version that steals your ‘atonement’ and gives you ‘reconciliation’ instead? Why, only one of the greatest doctrines anywhere in the whole Bible, that’s all. The doctrine of God not only making an atonement for sins He did not commit, but God becoming the atonement for those sins He did not commit.

  • OLD TESTAMENT: “Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.” Leviticus 23:27 (KJB)
  • NEW TESTAMENT: “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 (KJB)

We are reconciled to God through Jesus Christ by the atonement that was made on the cross at Calvary. God’s blood shed to make a payment, an atonement, for the sin of the whole world. If you take out ‘atonement’ from Romans 5:11, you have done despite to the blood!

“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” Hebrews 10:29 (KJB)

The Incredible Events Of The Last Supper In The Upper Room Illustrates Perfectly The Revealing Of The Man Of Sin At The Pretribulation Rapture Of The Church

Published

on

NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

At the exact moment Judas goes from being the man of sin to the son of perdition, the scripture sayeth that he immediately goes ‘down and out into darkness’, while the disciples are ‘up in the air’ with Jesus

Many people are puzzled, baffled and otherwise flummoxed when attempting to unravel the end times timeline for the Church given to us prophetically by our apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 in your King James Bible. Over the years, all sorts of crazy interpretations like the falling away is actually the Rapture, the Day of Christ and the Day of the Lord is talking about the same events, and every other type of Laodicean insanity have been put forth to try and make sense of these verses. Of course, you could always just compare scripture with scripture and rightly divide what you read, but that’s too much work, who wants to do that? We do!

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (KJB)

Ok, Bible believers, let’s do this by the numbers. Verse 1 is showing you our ‘gathering together unto him‘, when you compare this to 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 you see clearly this is a reference to the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. This also defines the term the ‘day of Christ‘ that we see in verse 2 as also being a reference to the Rapture of the Church. Still with me? So far we haven’t done much interpretation, all we have done is compare scripture with scripture. Verse 3, however, is where most Christians throw up their hands and say “we’re not looking for Antichrist!!” and go back to watching cat videos on YouTube. Just what is Paul talking about when he says the ‘man of sin’ will be revealed just prior to the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church? To answer this perplexing (to some) question, the gospel of John has the answer. (Much of John is addressed to the Church Age, see for yourself here.)

He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.” John 13:26,27,30 (KJB)

If you haven’t read our article entitled ‘Does The King James Bible Reveal The Identity Of The Coming End Times Antichrist?’ you might want to take a moment and go read it before continuing with this article. Ok ready? Let’s proceed.

In John 13, always keep an eye out for the number 13 as it is associated with Antichrist almost as much as 666, we see the last supper in the upper room with Jesus, His disciples, and of course, Judas the betrayer. Up to this point in the three and one half year ministry of Jesus, Judas has distinguished himself as the devil that he always was. In fact, you could quite accurately say that Judas was the ‘man of sin’ from the very beginning. One such ‘highlight’ of this is found in the story of Mary of Bethany in John 12:1-8 where we see Judas, the scripture calls him a lying thief, mocking Mary’s incredible sacrifice of her alabaster box. Judas not only mocks it, he is showing unfiltered contempt for the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus as the passage clearly shows you. Judas was always the ‘man of sin’, he was never a good guy, and in the upper room he gets an dubious ‘promotion’ to becoming the Son of Perdition. Ever ask yourself why Jesus would purposely chose Judas as a disciple? One main reason would have to be so there was a type of the tares mixed in with the wheat, the ‘wolf lying down with the lamb’ from Isaiah 11:6. Get it? Good, now back to the events in the upper room as a type of the Rapture of the Church.

The disciples are all asking Jesus who the betrayer is, and Jesus tells them plainly to watch and see who dips the sop in the dish, because that’s the guy. At the moment Judas takes his sop from the dish (SOP is son of perdition, just coincidentally), Satan enters into him and he becomes the Son of Perdition, a type of Antichrist. But watch what happens next. At the exact moment Judas goes from being the man of sin to the son of perdition, the scripture sayeth that he immediately goes ‘down and out into darkness’. Darkness being a type of the time of Jacob’s trouble and the great tribulation. But where are the disciples? They are up in the air with Jesus Christ in the upper room! (if you’re looking for a sign, this is it!)

This is what Paul is talking about in 2 Thessalonians, when the man of sin is revealed, however that happens, the Church will be safely taken UP in the air to be with Jesus Christ. John shows us this in type, Paul shows us this in prophecy, and one day very soon we will live out those verses when our beautiful Saviour, Jesus of Nazareth, catches us up and away to be with Him forever. So where is the exact moment of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church? It’s contained in the comma between ‘be revealed‘ and ‘the son of perdition‘ in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. There it is, you’re welcome!

Jesus Paid For The Sins Of The Whole World On The Cross At Calvary With The Blood Of God, But John MacArthur Denies These Bedrock Bible Truths

Published

on

jesus-at-calvary-cross-made-payment-for-sin-with-blood-of-god-john-macarthur-heretic-says-will-not-save-you
NOW THE END BEGINS SHARE:

I cannot imagine any Bible teacher or preacher of the word of God that did not understand that the payment for sin on the cross was the shed blood of Jesus Christ, but end times heretic John MacArthur is one such person.

John MacArthur is a lot of things, but one thing he is not is a Bible believer. Why do I say that? Because John MacArthur denies the main scriptural tenant that clearly and plainly decrees that the payment for sin made on the cross was God’s own blood, shed to redeem sinners. As you will see in the videos below, MacArthur states repeatedly that the “blood of Jesus Christ does not save you”, and he go so far as to say that the blood Jesus shed was not God’s blood. That, my friends, is rank heresy.

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” Acts 20:28 (KJB)

What follows below are my notes from our Sunday Service yesterday, just some quick thoughts I compiled on the blood of Jesus Christ to prepare for yesterday’s message. The evidence that rebukes John MacArthur’s heresy is overwhelming, and the only way you could miss it you’d have to be unsaved. This is no case of “let’s agree to disagree”, not by a long shot, this is rebuking heresy and false teaching that some might be saved. If you believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, the blood of God, cannot save your soul, then you are lost and headed for a fiery Hell. The only payment for your sin God will accept is His own shed blood.

Saved By The Blood Of The Crucified One

The first mention of blood in your King James Bible is the shed blood of an innocent man, who is a type of Jesus Christ, shed by a man who a type of Antichrist. This law of first mention sets the standard for blood all through the scriptures.

“And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” Genesis 4:10 (KJB)

In the New Testament, the blood as it relates to the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, shows you that it is a payment to 1). Build His church, and 2). Make a payment for sin for the whole world.

“Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.” Luke 22:20 (KJB)

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18 (KJB)

The Bible shows us that the death of Jesus on the cross is the vehicle by which the blood was applied as payment, His death itself is not the payment. This is a huge distinction, one that is lost to most Greek and Hebrew scholars of our day. If Jesus had only died in our place on the cross, and not made the payment, then we would remain in our sins with no way to receive salvation. The blood that was shed is eternal, it is God’s blood, and only God’s blood can keep you eternally safe, saved and secure.

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” Acts 20:28 (KJB)

Jesus on the cross took the punishment we rightly deserve upon Himself, and this is the first Bible doctrine ever mentioned in the Church Age.

“And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.” Acts 8:30-34 (KJB)

Of course, this is referring to Isaiah 53

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 (KJB)

The New Versions Remove The Blood!

  • KJB: “In whom we have redemption through his bloodeven the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:14 (KJB)
  • ESV: “in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:14 (ESV)

Now, let’s take a look in the writings of Paul to see how important the blood Jesus shed on the cross truly is. It’s so simple, you have to work to miss it.

“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” Romans 3:25,26 (KJB)

“Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:9 (KJB)

“After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:25 (KJB)

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” Ephesians 1:7 (KJB)

“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.” Colossians 1:20 (KJB)

All the way into Revelation, we see the blood is what has paid our sin debt.

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:5,6 (KJB)

The last mention of blood in the Bible brings you full circle. As the first mention of blood was that of an innocent men having it shed at the hands of the wicked, so the last mention of is of a Righteous Man trampling His enemies and shedding their blood.

“For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.” Revelation 19:2 (KJB)

“And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” Revelation 19:13 (KJB)

Remember what the gospel is:

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 (KJB)

It is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was a sacrificial death to fulfill all the Law of Moses, but it was a death in order to make and apply a payment for sin, the only payment God would or could accept – His own blood, shed by Himself.
