Thousands of demonstrators have turned out in the German city of Hannover to protest a planned U.S.-Europe TTIP free trade agreement, a day before President Barack Obama arrives.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Thousand of Germans turned out to cheer Barack Obama when he gave his globalist New World Order credentials speech at the Brandenburg Gate in 2008. But today, after watching the past 7 years of his Marxist policy making, thousands of Germans have again turned out for his visit, but this time in complete rejection of his TTIP free trade hoax. Evidently, Obama’s power to hypnotically deceive the masses seems to be waning. This is a good day for Germany, and all of Europe.

Police said Saturday that more than 20,000 people gathered for the demonstration. Many in Germany regard the planned Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, or TTIP, with suspicion. Protesters Saturday carried placards with slogans such as “Yes We Can – Stop TTIP!”

Proponents argue that the agreement would boost business at a time of global economic uncertainty, but critics worry that it would erode consumer protection and environmental standards.

Officials in Washington and Europe are trying to clinch key parts of the TTIP deal before the end of the year. Obama is due in Hannover on Sunday to open an annual industrial fair. source

What is TTIP? And six reasons why the answer should scare you

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership is a series of trade negotiations being carried out mostly in secret between the EU and US. As a bi-lateral trade agreement, TTIP is about reducing the regulatory barriers to trade for big business, things like food safety law, environmental legislation, banking regulations and the sovereign powers of individual nations. It is, as John Hilary, Executive Director of campaign group War on Want, said: “An assault on European and US societies by transnational corporations.”

Since before TTIP negotiations began last February, the process has been secretive and undemocratic. This secrecy is on-going, with nearly all information on negotiations coming from leaked documents and Freedom of Information requests.

But worryingly, the covert nature of the talks may well be the least of our problems. Here are six other reasons why we should be scared of TTIP, very scared indeed:

1 The NHS

Public services, especially the NHS, are in the firing line. One of the main aims of TTIP is to open up Europe’s public health, education and water services to US companies. This could essentially mean the privatisation of the NHS.

The European Commission has claimed that public services will be kept out of TTIP. However, according to the Huffington Post, the UK Trade Minister Lord Livingston has admitted that talks about the NHS were still on the table.

2 Food and environmental safety

TTIP’s ‘regulatory convergence’ agenda will seek to bring EU standards on food safety and the environment closer to those of the US. But US regulations are much less strict, with 70 per cent of all processed foods sold in US supermarkets now containing genetically modified ingredients. By contrast, the EU allows virtually no GM foods. The US also has far laxer restrictions on the use of pesticides. It also uses growth hormones in its beef which are restricted in Europe due to links to cancer. US farmers have tried to have these restrictions lifted repeatedly in the past through the World Trade Organisation and it is likely that they will use TTIP to do so again.

The same goes for the environment, where the EU’s REACH regulations are far tougher on potentially toxic substances. In Europe a company has to prove a substance is safe before it can be used; in the US the opposite is true: any substance can be used until it is proven unsafe. As an example, the EU currently bans 1,200 substances from use in cosmetics; the US just 12.

3 Banking regulations

TTIP cuts both ways. The UK, under the influence of the all-powerful City of London, is thought to be seeking a loosening of US banking regulations. America’s financial rules are tougher than ours. They were put into place after the financial crisis to directly curb the powers of bankers and avoid a similar crisis happening again. TTIP, it is feared, will remove those restrictions, effectively handing all those powers back to the bankers.

4 Privacy

Remember ACTA (the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement)? It was thrown out by a massive majority in the European Parliament in 2012 after a huge public backlash against what was rightly seen as an attack on individual privacy where internet service providers would be required to monitor people’s online activity.  Well, it’s feared that TTIP could be bringing back ACTA’s central elements, proving that if the democratic approach doesn’t work, there’s always the back door. An easing of data privacy laws and a restriction of public access to pharmaceutical companies’ clinical trials are also thought to be on the cards.

5 Jobs

The EU has admitted that TTIP will probably cause unemployment as jobs switch to the US, where labour standards and trade union rights are lower. It has even advised EU members to draw on European support funds to compensate for the expected unemployment.

Examples from other similar bi-lateral trade agreements around the world support the case for job losses.  The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between the US, Canada and Mexico caused the loss of one million US jobs over 12 years, instead of the hundreds of thousands of extra that were promised.

6 Democracy

TTIP’s biggest threat to society is its inherent assault on democracy. One of the main aims of TTIP is the introduction of Investor-State Dispute Settlements (ISDS), which allow companies to sue governments if those governments’ policies cause a loss of profits. In effect it means unelected transnational corporations can dictate the policies of democratically elected governments.

ISDSs are already in place in other bi-lateral trade agreements around the world and have led to such injustices as in Germany where Swedish energy company Vattenfall is suing the German government for billions of dollars over its decision to phase out nuclear power plants in the wake of the Fukushima disaster in Japan. Here we see a public health policy put into place by a democratically elected government being threatened by an energy giant because of a potential loss of profit. Nothing could be more cynically anti-democratic.

There are around 500 similar cases of businesses versus nations going on around the world at the moment and they are all taking place before ‘arbitration tribunals’ made up of corporate lawyers appointed on an ad hoc basis, which according to War on Want’s John Hilary, are “little more than kangaroo courts” with “a vested interest in ruling in favour of business.”

So I don’t know about you, but I’m scared. I would vote against TTIP, except… hang on a minute… I can’t. Like you, I have no say whatsoever in whether TTIP goes through or not.  All I can do is tell as many people about it as possible, as I hope, will you. We may be forced to accept an attack on democracy but we can at least fight against the conspiracy of silence. source

WORLD WAR TRUMP: European Nations Like Germany, France And The United Kingdom Sending Troops To Defend Greenland From A United States Takeover

European troops arrived in Greenland to back Denmark as talks with the United States exposed deep rifts over the Arctic island’s future and security

This article makes the 11,591st article that I have personally written over the past 17 years, and believe me when I tell you, the headline at the top of this page is the strangest one I have ever done. I know, I talk all the time about the coming world war, and give all sorts of facts, figures and scriptures to make my case, but when it actually begins to come to pass, it is a strange feeling. Only the Lord knows how far this will go, but at least for the moment, the wheels are in motion.

“Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.” Habakkuk 1:5 (KJB)

While the MAGA Movement may be salivating at the thought of Trump taking Greenland by military force, the majority of rationally-thinking Americans do not want to acquire the island in such a manner. Indeed moves like that are precisely where world wars come from. Someone earlier today suggested that they suspect that Donald Trump may have recently had a stroke by way of attempting to explain his ever-increasing irrational behavior. At his age, that could certainly be true, but I am still sticking to my original hypothesis that the warning shot to his right ear is what is driving him closer and closer to the brink of war. Keep your eyes on Germany and France, that’s where the last two world wars came from.

European troops arrive in Greenland to support Denmark amid dispute with the United States

FROM SCRIPPS NEWS: Troops from several European countries, including France, Germany, the UK, Norway and Sweden, are arriving in Greenland in a show of support for Denmark as talks between representatives of Denmark, Greenland and the U.S. on Wednesday highlighted “fundamental disagreement” between the Trump administration and European allies on the future of the Arctic island.

Denmark announced it would increase its military presence in Greenland on Wednesday and several European partners started sending symbolic numbers of troops on that day, just as the Danish and Greenlandic foreign ministers were preparing to meet with White House representatives in Washington. The troop movements were intended to portray unity among Europeans and send a signal to U.S. President Donald Trump that an American takeover of Greenland is not necessary as NATO together can safeguard the security of the Arctic region amid rising Russian and Chinese interest.

“The first French military elements are already en route” and “others will follow,” French President Emmanuel Macron announced Wednesday, as French authorities said about 15 soldiers from the mountain infantry unit were already in Nuuk for a military exercise.

Germany will deploy a reconnaissance team of 13 personnel to Greenland on Thursday, its Defense Ministry said.

On Thursday, Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said the intention was “to establish a more permanent military presence with a larger Danish contribution,” according to Danish broadcaster DR. He said soldiers from several NATO countries will be in Greenland on a rotation system.

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, flanked by his Greenlandic counterpart Vivian Motzfeldt, said Wednesday that a “fundamental disagreement” over Greenland remains with Trump after they held highly anticipated talks at the White House with Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rasmussen added that it remains “clear that the president has this wish of conquering over Greenland” but that dialogue with the U.S. would continue at a high level over the following weeks. Inhabitants of Greenland and Denmark reacted with anxiety but also some relief that negotiations with the U.S. would go on and European support was becoming visible. READ MORE

The Vast Majority Of The People Who Live In Greenland Reject Trump’s ‘Manifest Destiny’ Leaving Him No Other Choice Than A Hostile Military Takeover

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

U.S. President Donald Trump has made it clear what he wants: Greenland. But the Greenlanders who live there refuse to be subjugated by America and Manifest Destiny

Donald Trump is all over the news lately, talking about how he, one way or the other, will ‘get Greenland’. The people who live there said “The United States will not get Greenland. We do not belong to others. We decide our own future. We must not react with fear. We must react with calm, dignity and unity.” It would appear that the only way Trump will ‘get Greenland’ is by the use of military force, is that really where we are right now? It would appear to be so.

“And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.” Daniel 11:3 (KJB)

As of the date I am writing this, it is fairly unfathomable that Donald Trump will use military force to take control of Greenland, but after taking control of Venezuela and seizing their oil, it would seem that all bets are off and everything is on the table. Let’s see, when’s the last time the world watched an authoritarian leader going about and taking control of other sovereign nations while talking about peace and safety? It’s right on the tip of my tongue, if only I could remember.

What Greenland Wants And Why Trump Can’t Afford To Buy It

FROM FORBES: “We can give the people of Greenland way more money” than “the $60,000 per year per person” they get from the Danish government, Vice President JD Vance said in an interview on Newsmax on Thursday. But judging by a January poll of public opinion in Greenland, money is not the answer to what Greenland wants. And the more Trump and his team insist that the question of Greenland is about money, the harder they make it for themselves to win the Greenlanders over.

The same day JD Vance offered the Greenlanders ‘way more money’ than the Danish government, Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen held a press conference aboard the Danish Navy inspection ship Vaedderen in Nuuk, Greenland. Flanked by Greenland’s acting elected head of government Múte Borup Egede on the one side and the newly elected head of government Jens-Frederik Nielsen on the other, Frederiksen spoke directly to the American government in English, saying: “You cannot annex another country, not even with an argument about international security.”

For the U.S. government and media, the question of Greenland is about control, specifically whether Denmark or the United States should have control of the island. But for Greenlandic and Danish leaders, it is about Greenland’s past, present, and future, specifically what it takes for Greenland to succeed as an independent country.

“We don’t want to be Americans. No, we don’t want to be Danes. We want to be Greenlanders. And we want our own independence in the future. And we want to build our own country by ourselves,” said Jens-Frederik Nielsen, just before he was elected as Greenland’s new head of government in March.

In a joint statement, the Greenlandic leaders said, “We – all party leaders – cannot accept the repeated comments about annexation and control of Greenland.” And when Trump earlier this week said, “We’ll Get Greenland. Yeah, 100%,” Nielsen shared this statement on Facebook (translated from Danish):

“President Trump says that the United States will “get Greenland”. Let me be clear: The United States will not get Greenland. We do not belong to others. We decide our own future. We must not react with fear. We must react with calm, dignity and unity. And it is through these values that we must clearly, distinctly and calmly show the American president that Greenland is ours. That was the case yesterday. That is the case today. And that is the case in the future.” READ MORE

President Trump gave what some consider his strongest remarks on Greenland and Denmark recently, saying “Whether they like it or not, the nice way or the difficult way” and mentioning that the US would need the territory so Russia and China would not take it. Greenland is controlled by Denmark, and is a NATO ally of the United States. Trump has been discussing military options and other ways to gain control of the world’s largest island.

Emmanuel Macron Slams Trump For For Creating A ‘New World Order’ And Abandoning His European Allies After Pulling Out Of Dozens Of EU Organizations

Published

on

SHARE NOW THE END BEGINS:

Emmanuel Macron decries Trump’s America isolationist stance and says he is ‘destroying the world order’ but what’s really going on?

As if on cue, France’s Emmanuel Macron has now joined Germany’s Frank-Walter Steinmeier in sounding the alarm that Donald Trump is “destroying the world order” by pulling the United States out of a long list of U.N.-linked agreements and institutions they proudly wear as badges of global virtue. Macron, Steinmeier, the U.N., the EU — all of them are architects and defenders of the same framework that conditions the world to accept centralized authority “for the greater good.”

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalms 146:3 (KJB)

One side screams “Global cooperation!” The other side screams “America first!” But neither side is your friend. The Bible tells you not to pin your hope on princes, because today’s hero is tomorrow’s headline, and all of them are dust in God’s hands. It’s the direction of the world to go toward a one-world political order that culminates in a one-world ruler. Trump stepping away from these “woke” U.N. agreements doesn’t derail prophecy, it doesn’t even slow it down. If anything, it agitates the system, forcing elites to double down on calls for stronger global enforcement. Chaos always precedes consolidation. And consolidation always produces a demand for a savior-figure who promises order, stability, and peace — at a cost. Right now you are watching the chaos, just wait for the consolidation. Something worse than the United Nations is coming.

Emmanuel Macron says Trump is ‘destroying world order’ after leaving ‘woke’ UN agreements

FROM METRO UK: The Trump administration announced it wouldn’t take part in the UN’s population agency, international climate negotiations, UN Women and other organisations. Many of the targets are UN-related agencies that focus on issues the Trump administration has categorised as catering to diversity and ‘woke’ intiatives’. Other non-UN organisations on the list include the Partnership for Atlantic Cooperation, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance and the Global Counterterrorism Forum.

The move has been slammed by international leaders, with French President Emmanuel Macron saying the US is ‘breaking free from international rules’ and ‘gradually turning away’ from some of its allies.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier went further, saying America was destroying the world order.

‘Then there is the breakdown of values by our most important partner, the USA, which helped build this world order,’ he said. ‘It is about preventing the world from turning into a den of robbers, where the most unscrupulous take whatever they want, where regions or entire countries are treated as the property of a few great powers.’

In the executive order signed by Trump, posted on the White House website, it reads: ‘After deliberating with my Cabinet, have determined that it is contrary to the interests of the United States to remain a member of, participate in, or otherwise provide support to these organisations.’

This July, Trump pulled the US out of UNESCO over its support for what he calls ‘woke causes’.

The State Department accused UNESCO of having ‘a globalist, ideological agenda for international development at odds with our America First foreign policy’. The department’s spokeswoman, Tammy Bruce, said that ‘continued involvement in UNESCO is not in the national interest of the United States’. READ MORE

French President Emmanuel Macron sharply criticised the United States under President Donald Trump, saying it is “breaking free from international rules” and “gradually turning away from some of its allies” amid tension over renewed U.S. interest in Greenland. Macron’s remarks, delivered to French ambassadors, reflect growing European concern about Trump’s assertive foreign policy and the perception that long‑standing alliances are being undermined. His comments come as European leaders press for respect for Greenland’s sovereignty and coordinated diplomacy in response to U.S. actions.
