“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;” 2 Corinthians 5:10,11a

Standing at the Judgment Seat of Christ

Some people hear the term “Judgment Seat” and automatically associate this with a judgment on sin. That is not what the bible is talking about here. The Judgment Seat of Christ is a public judgment in Heaven of the works that you did while on earth in the name of Jesus.

It is not a judgment on sin because sin was already dealt with at the cross. If you are saved then all your sins have already been wiped away and forgotten about. The Judgment Seat is a fire into which your earthly works for the Lord will be cast into. The unsaved of the world will appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, mentioned in Revelation 20 –

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:11,1

Wood, hay and stubble

If some of the works you did in His name where really for your benefit, then they are placed into the “wood, hay and stubble” category. If you here on earth throw wood, hay and stubble – all combustible materials – into a fire, what happens? They burn up and are never seen again. There are people who enter into the ministry because it can be financially lucrative. We have all seen televangelists who drive Rolls Royces, live in mansions and ‘fare sumptuously’ on the revenues that their great religious empires provide for them. One would have to imagine that most of the works associated with this type of “christianity’ would fall into the wood, hay and stubble category. This is not to say that these people are not saved, only they and God know that. But works done in Jesus name that really served to enrich you will not make it through the fire of the Jusgment Seat.

Gold, silver and precious stones

Evangelist Henry Varley once said, in the hearing of the great man of God D.L. Moody, that “the world has yet to see what God will do with, and for, and through, and in, and by, the man who is fully consecrated to Him.” After meditating on what he had heard, Dwight Moody resolved within himself that “he would be that man’. History records in what a mighty way that Moody was used of God.

And so it shall be for anyone – young, old, man, woman, child – who truly decides to serve the Lord the best they can with the gifts that God has given them. Their works for the Lord will be counted at the Judgment Seat as “gold, silver and precious stones’ that when cast into the fire, will only come out the other side shinier and more precious than when they went in. Everyone from Moody, Sunday, the apostle Paul, all the way down to the little child who hands someone a tract because they want to see them know Jesus and get saved will all have rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

These rewards are given us as crowns, and there are 5 crowns the bible mentions: the Crown of Life, the Crown of Glory, the Crown of Rejoicing, the Crown of Righteousness, and the Crown Incorruptible. The bible says that when we receive these crowns that we will then thrown them at the feet of He who is worthy –

“The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:10,11

What reward will you have at the Judgment Seat of Christ?

No matter how big your problems seem to you right now, and I am sure that there are many reading this who have pressing issues and lots of worry, let us assure you that one day the things and cares of this life will all be gone. In an instant. And you will find yourself standing before the One who redeemed you, Jesus Christ.

Only ONE life, twill SOON be past…and ONLY what’s done for CHRIST will last.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13,14

There is still time to get something done for Jesus, still time to add gold, silver and precious stones to your account. Get your eyes off of the temporary and on to the eternal weight of glory. Have you been saved, have you been redeemed? Then take the gifts and talents that the Lord has given you for His glory, and use them now while time remains.

The race is almost over, and the time for reckoning will begin soon. Do something for Jesus.

  • Ron Murphy: Did you catch NTEB post this time, since your SINLESS your heading to the Judgement Day!

  • There are actually TWO Judgement Seats Jesus will Chair. The first as you mention here is as you said for rewards or lack theirof. However the Bible begs to DIFFER on your OSAS (eternal security) line of thought. I have 250 Scripture on 2 word documents, God’s Word NOT yours or mine that PROVES ALL CHRISTIANS MUST REPENT of post salvation sins. Now I KNOW MOST of todays Christians don’t believe this anymore because they don’t believe the TRUE Bible anymore. My woves recently passed great Aunt who was 103 years old, said in the early 20’s that less than 1% of Christians she knew as a little girl believed in eternal security. This is a HUGE increase that are falling for satans lie he used in the garden of eden. Sadly whether they believe the bible or not COUNTLESS backslidden Christians will be at the other Judgement of Christ. The Great White Throne Judgement, along with all the unsaved. Eternity is FOREVER my friends. I don’t take any chances on it. If I am wrong here and the Bible is wrong, then I have nothing to lose, I have been saved and am going to heaven. BUT if the bible is RIGHT and god is NOT a liar, then those who REFUSE TO REPENT HAVE EVERYTHING to lose. I am praying for whoever wrote this article and whoever may believe it.

  • Very well done article. Time is very short. I don’t know who the author is but you did a very good job with this. To the “pastor” LaRue above if you are criticizing this article you are way out in left field. No Doubt.

  • I was thinking the very same thing. NTEB great job! The best article you’ve written in awhile.

  • Thank you all very much, appreciate that! The saved Christian, while the bible teaches we can never lose our SALVATION, can in fact lose REWARDS at the Judgment Seat of Christ. I think that by having an eternal view of the Judgment Seat, it will help us to live cleaner and closer to Jesus while we wait to go up!

  • Ron Murphy: Did not you say we can lose our salvation? But NTEB differs with you!

  • Once we have become saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, Ephesians 1:13,14 say we are “SEALED” until the day we meet Jesus face to face. Yes, we are eternally secure…thats a bible doctrine.

  • Very good article indeed. In response to comment number 3, I must say that either my understanding of the Bible or yours is flawed. If salvation is truly by grace through faith, then your works play no role in it. To believe that you can lose salvation yourself is to say it is in your control and to doubt God’s ability to keep you saved. The book of Hebrews makes one thing clear and that is this: if you could ever lose it, you could never be saved again, as it would require Christ to die again and the Bible is clear that he died once for all. This is by no means a license for Christians to habitually sin. I used to doubt my salvation but have learned through much study and prayer that only after you realize that it is God’s responsibility to keep you saved, can you relax and enjoy that great salvation. Our primary responsibility is to accept it when the Holy Spirit calls. I take very seriously the responsibility of teaching God’s word and ask anyone to NOT take my word, or anyone else’s word as gospel but to seek it out yourself in the Holy Bible. I realize this is a denominational issue to a lot of people, but study the Bible and see what it says. My beliefs are not based on “traditions” or denominational beliefs but on the word of God.

  • Repentance is an on going process. Our pass sins are removed whenn we repent but we will fall in word ,,thought, and deed. The Bible is clear when reading the parable of the virgins in Matt25 that only 50% will be save. that is God’s word not mine. If you are a Catholic following their teachings how can you be saved. In Matt 24 Jesus said many false prophets and teachers will arise AND DECIEVE MANY.

  • It seems to me that we are SAVED ( when we pray the sinners prayer) and are BEING saved (as we continue this life) ” Those that endure to the end will be saved”Matt 10:22…We cant just go off back into the World and live a Godless debauched life after praying the sinners prayer . we,ve got to keep on keeping on. But God sees your heart and continually guide you and convict you to the end………trust in Him

  • Thank you for saying this (below) Joe Hopkins,
“To believe that you can lose salvation yourself is to say it is in your control and to doubt God’s ability to keep you saved. The book of Hebrews makes one thing clear and that is this: if you could ever lose it, you could never be saved again, as it would require Christ to die again and the Bible is clear that he died once for all.”
Read this Ron and Suez and all who work for their salvation. You will not attain salvation by working for it. You will end up with nothing at all. Thinking that you have to suffer to earn your salvation Ron is working for it. Thus you have NOT trusted in Jesus for your salvation but in yourself. You have so much faith in yourself that you can perform your own salvation? God did it for us. We are incapable of doing it for ourselves. He clearly says so. Turn to Him for your salvation.

  • NTEB I have a question. You have been asked by all on the reply button if it will be fixed w no response. But you can respond to a comment, Please may we have an answer? Thank you and thank you for this article

  • Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
    Mat 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Mat 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Mat 5:25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Mat 5:26 Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Mat 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Mat 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

The first line of these verses should tell you that you can lose your salvation, but the rest go on to tell how you can. Christ’s own words.

The lies of the devil will tell you that you are always saved, you can’t fall….but God’s Word says different.

2Co 12:19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
2Co 12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:
2Co 12:21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

Paul was talking to the church which was at Corinth.

  • Brenda: Why is it that your ears can not hear the truth, NTEB and Marie has testified to you several times by scriptures, its impossible to lose your salvation, after Jesus Christ our Living God, gave salvation to us as a gift. So you believe God is a liar? After He freely gives us the gift of Salvation, and we do something back in life, He’s going to take that gift away from us.

At Christmas, you give a gift to someone, then later that person mistreats you very badly, are you going to ask that person back, that Christmas gift? If so then it was not a gift in the first place. In Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin is death, but the (free gift) of God is ( eternal life) in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sure sounds as a eternal gift from God?

Do you also believe, when you recieve Salvation, which is the Spirit of God, you’ll never sinned again in your life?

Because your husband believes its impossible for him to ever sin again in his life after he recieve Salvation, Oh! That’s right, he believes you can lose your salvation, so when he loses his salvation, does that mean he’s a sinner again or he continues the be SINLESS?

By your belief, then each time you sin, you need to renew your vows to God and recieve Salvation again?

I can not remember each sin I commit every day, so by your belief, since I can not remember those sins, then its impossible to renew that Salvation, for each sin I commit against God. So basically, I’m screwed and I’ll never go to heaven after my death?

I was always taught after I recieved my Salvation, each day, before I lay my head to rest, I asked Jesus Christ forgiveness of those sins and immediately Jesus Christ forgets them.

But by your belief, if I have to renew my Salvation each night, then why ask God forgiveness of my sins I committed against him, because renewing my Salvation should be good enough than asking for forgiveness of those sins?

I believe your ears are deaf to God’s voice.

Here’s scriptures to prove just that to you!

In John 8: 47- ” He who is of God hears his words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God.”

That’s very plain to your ears?

Wait I hear in my ears, Suez screaming at me, I’m judging Brenda and Ron again.

But I’m not judging anyone, its God who judges. I’m stating my opinions, then stating scriptures that relates to my opinions.

  • oops! back= bad

  • @Brenda,
Our earthly Father didn’t kick us by the wayside whenever we disobeyed him. He punished us for our disobedience, because he loved us. Therefore, wouldn’t you agree that our Heavenly Father, who loves us even more would chastise us, His children, until we got back into the fold. That’s what the Word says.
Proverbs 3:12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.

Once we are TRULY born again, we cannot lose our salvation, because we simply will NOT want to live a sinful, disobedient life.

  • Tracy: explain God’s forgiving grace to Brenda. In the Parable of the Lost Son. Luke 15:11-32

  • For Brenda, I will not argue nor get into a debate regarding eternal security but would offer the thought that the words “you can lose your salvation” keeps people so busy trying to maintain and keep their salvation that they are rendered ineffective as witnesses. This is called legalism and is one of satan’s ways of keeping Christian people from enjoying the salvation that God gave them. I would urge you to read Hebrews chapter 6 and especially verses 4-6 where it states (paraphrased) that if they (saved people) shall fall away (lose salvation) it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing that they crucify to themselves the Son of God and put him to an open shame. The only conclusion that you can reach and still maintain consistency with the rest of the Bible is that if you could lose it, you have lost it forever. If God is true to His word, (and He is), then everlasting life means just what it says. If it is interrupted, then it is not everlasting. If you read John 10: 28-29, Jesus said that no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I would submit that no man includes each individual person. That means that you cannot pluck yourself out of God’s hand. If you are a true Christian, then you have nothing to worry about. The only righteousness that any of us Christians personally have is that of Jesus Christ. Salvation is of God and not of ourselves and it is certainly not of works. Many verses taken by themselves are confusing and that is why we need to study the entire Bible and only draw conclusions from a particular verse which is consistent with all scripture. Please don’t be blinded by denominational teachings and traditions but study the Bible from cover to cover.

  • 1Jn 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

  • Brenda and Ron,
Why do resist the Truth? What do you gain from it? Sel satisfaction, becaue you are not satisfying God with your unbelief of His Gospel. You falsely accuse others of false gospel when you 2 are the ones who promote false Gospel. You are, simply put, Unbelievers who will be ashamed before God. You are so correct though, you will be going through the Tribulation BUT not as True Believers, but as Unbelievers in The Gospel of Christ. You will share the fate with the rest of the unbelieving world and their eternity in Hell also. You believe in a works salvation to your eternal doom.

  • Marie: Ron and Brenda will get another chance to get salvation in the Tribulation, but still they continue this unbelief that their works will get them into heaven by dieing for their belief, then they will stand before God on Judgement Day before their cast into the Lake of Fire.

  • Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Mat_16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mar_10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Luk_9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Joh_12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
1Pe_2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

2Pe_2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Rev_14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
This Ron, the name change doesn’t work.

  • Joh_15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh_15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Joh_15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

1Jn_2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

This is Ron, again. The change name will not work.

  • Brenda: your belief is not in God, but you follow after Satan, and you do not even know your following after Satan, he’s so good in his deceptions!

  • Joh_8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh_15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Act_13:43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
Act_14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Rom_11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

    “If”, is a big word!

Gal_2:5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
    Col_1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
1Ti_2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

1Ti_4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Far as I know Timothy was not a church.

1Jn_2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

This is Ron, again. Name change does not work at present.

  • Why was Jesus, John, and Paul so out spoken on continuing, abiding, and following, if it didn’t mean anything? Ron

  • Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Rom 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
Rom 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The word of God testifies against sinners and so called Christians that sin!

  • You can not serve sin and God, too.

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

  • Santification not salvation Ron. Not believing is serving sin. You have confused initial Salvation with the Sacntification process. They are not the same.

  • Joe, this is Ron again. To answer you question, What good are you as a witness is you continue in sin? What light is in you if darkness remains?

Rom_12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

  • WHAT does sinning have to do with belief Ron? You are making the two term synonamous. It is a sinner who Believes. All are sinners but not everyone believes. We will all continue to sin UNTIL we are glorified.

  • People need not complain, that posted in others names. It is your fault this sight was force to do what it has done. The innocent must suffer because of your childish games. Ron

  • Ron and Brenda,
How can you possibly think for one minute that you do not sin. I have seen you sin right on this very sight. You delude yourselves. You are sinners.

  • MRH

  • MRH

    Also this article 😉

    P.S. A child of God can’t be damned 🙂

  • Brenda: So your calling that Pre-Tribbers are so-called Christians that are sinners. I would considered that was really rude from you, after NTEB, allows you to post your comments on their web site, and since they are Pre-Tribbers, you saying they are damned?

  • Brenda: since your husband consider himself equal to God, being God, so what does that make you second in charge of God’s creation?

  • Brenda: Now your blaming MARIE, for what changes that happen on NTEB web site? Do you do that all the time, when you make your own mistakes, you always blame someone else, put the blame, if that’s what you want to blame, NTEB made these changes on their web site. MARIE had nothing to do with these changes on NTEB, your really a complainer?

  • Marie: Please do not use high english or big words for Ron Murphy, as he only had a grade school education, he was a coal miner, but now unemployed?

  • Excellent site MRH,
I have taken over 50 of his courses
    Arnold Fruchtenbaum. A Holocaust survivor.

  • Marie: Ron Murphy does not like people using their education, because he’s not impressed with education?

  • Ron Murphy: The only one playing childish games is you Ron!

  • Believing is not what saves you! Believing is a work of it’s own. We are given the gift of salvation, because we believe, but believing is not salvation. The gift of salvation is the atonement for our sins, by the Blood of the Lamb of God. Just because we been wash clean of sin, doesn’t mean we can’t dirty our souls once again, needing washed again. If we fell to have them cleaned, then we will not continue in His love, we will be lost. One of us is preaching a false Gospel, Heaven help the guilty. Someone’s going to suffer great loss! I don’t wish to debate this. Let both views beware of the consequences.

  • Ron Murphy: You was blaming MARIE, that she screwed up the web site, because you could not post correctly using your own name, but it turn you were lieing again, because your posting in your own name than Brenda’s name or you were doing that to cause some more confusion, so you could just insult MARIE?

You know why you can not tell the difference between what I post and what Marie post on this web site?

Because your a uneducated person, as you said, your not impressed with educated people!

  • Mark’s Quote, P.S. A child of God can’t be damned 🙂

Mark, then Judas went to heaven! So did Balaam. So did the Churches in Revelation.
Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Your candlestick is not your reward, it your light!

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

I won’t even look to chapter three, point is made here. It’s up to the reader what is interpreted. This isn’t to the tribulation saints only and it isn’t to the Jews only. It was spoken to the churches in Asia. One much overcome and one must endure to reign with Christ. God’s word if infallible.

@Ron: You live by law NOT by faith 🙁

P.S. Works don’t yield salvation, and believing is NOT a work. But I can’t help you understand holy truth, as your eyes and ears are sealed shut unto all my offerings 🙁

  • Luk 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
Luk 3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Luk 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Luk 3:9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Luk 3:10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
Luk 3:11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

Jas_2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas_2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

With out works you can not be a believe. Those that believe, will do the works worthy of repentance. Those that believe not will do the works of sin! Wages of sin are death.

Rom_8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom_8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Rom_8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom_8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

  • Mark, You are the last person on here, I would listen to. Don’t even try.

  • Gal_5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Maybe you need to study a little , Mark, before you open your mouth, unless you can produce fruit without works.

  • Act_26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

  • Ron Murphy: why is it so hard to understand first the faith of Salvation, then the works.

Without the Faith in Salvation, then we as believers, are not believers, then we do not have the spirit inside of us, then we do not feel we need to be good to anyone.

But in your case, its almost immposible to be good to you!

  • Ron Murphy: Your understanding is that all you see is the works of the Tribulation. If you had the faith in you, there would not be any reason to show God of your works in the Tribulation.

So since you have already failed God, that your no longer a sinner and you need to prove your salvation to God, but God does not need anyone to prove anything to Him, because he knew you when you were born into this world and he see you failing Him right now!

  • Without faith one can’t do works meet for repentance. Works save no man. Faith gives one the gift of salvation, with good works as evidence of obtaining, faith and salvation. Faith without works is death. It does not live. Faith ceases to exist. If you truly believe you will not sin and do the works of the Spirit. You would fear God and do good works.

Tit_1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Tit_2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
    Tit_3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

  • I do not agree with anyone insulting another person’s level of education or what they do for a living or the fact that anyone may be unemployed. How shameful and disgraceful to do so. Everyone deserves respect even though there is disagreement among us.
Ron, I grew up in coal country myself and the doctor told me I have coal dust in my lungs perhaps a cause of the chronic lung infections I get.

  • One more final thing for me. I am not a teacher, nor did I ever claim to be. I am just one very blessed person who found Jesus before it was too late. I post what I know from the Bible and what I think and make no claims as to being any kind of teacher at all, so please don’t add another accusation to the long list that have been hurled at me.

  • Marie, Learn to follow God, instead of man, I don’t mean that disrespectfully. It insults Him when you seek after man’s understanding, instead of seeking Him. That’s given in love.

  • The fruit of the convicting power of the Holy Spirit is faith. Without the calling upon ones soul( Jesus knocking at the door of your heart) then no fruit will become of it, faith is not made manifest.

  • MRH

@Ron: You fail to see the light of holy truth 🙁

What are good works? Scripture answers 😉

Mat 5:16 KJV – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Jhn 10:32 KJV – Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
Act 9:36 KJV – Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
Rom 13:3 KJV – For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Eph 2:10 KJV – For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Good works are in a nutshell; helping others, being respectful, showing mercy, resisting temptation, tempering anger, being harmonious, loving others 🙂

P.S. I’m sorry, but you and certain others here do not yet express these certain holy traits. And you won’t until you open your hearts unto God as he has commanded us to do from the beginning 🙁

  • You are wasting our time, Mark. You don’t understand scripture. I’m not listening to a false prophet. You claim to be called of God, then you claim to have understanding, then claim no one understands. You are clearly double minded. You are the last person I would follow. You insult and then cry foul. Again, double minded! You claim the mark of the beast is coming, then you say we can take it, again double minded. Unstable in all you ways, Mark Hodge. Keep seeking man’s understanding. It will keep you at peace, as the world gives, peace they give unto you.

  • MRH: I’m sorry sometimes I cut to the throat as I have with you, when we discuss Tribulation beliefs, but when I hear you speak the true doctrine of Salvation and having faith in Jesus Christ and that good works will not get a person into God’s heavenly kingdom, your speaking the truth.

Poor Ron, he wants so badly to prove to God he’s worthy to enter his kingdom by good works, it will be a sad day for him when believers are caught up to God’s kingdom and he’s left behind to contend with the Tribulation.

As I grew up with my mother’s family as they were catholic’s, and that’s what they been taught, that good works will get a person into God’s kingdom. How so wrong they are, as many of them are waiting in their tombs, just to enter that long line on Judgement Day, in their tears, because they never really listen to the truth from God’s scriptures, as God cast them into the Lake of fire.

  • Ron Murphy: the only understanding you follow after, is your own understanding of your pride and that fat ego of yours.

  • MRH

@Ron: You are blinded by your false religion, and as such destroying your whatever relationship with God 🙁

P.S. Religion won’t get you into heaven (saved), only faith in Jesus as savior from sin will. You continually bash others here for whatever minor sins (in your mind), and yet you can’t even see your own perpetual loveless sin against God 🙁

WARNING: In my book you are no Christian, but rather a modern Pharisee seeking to destroy the holy flock here or wherever!!!

Jhn 8:37-47 KJV – I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

@Pastor S. T. LaRue: We’ve had our varied battles over whatnot here, but I still honor you as a good Christian when you behave like a good Christian should 😉

Tip: Remember that we are still only able to speculate with prophetic matters in general. So in that aspect there really is no point in getting into ridiculous battles over things.. YES?

P.S. Please read my harsh previous post unto the false orders here!

  • If we work every breath that is in us and we die trying, we can not be ever worthy of going to heaven. Our works are not for salvation. That is what you think our view is. But you don’t understand what we are saying. You are blinded by you own deceits. Works will follow those that believe or else one has no faith and is lost. Jesus paid the price already. His Blood was the cost! Paid in full on the cross. The works we do is evidence of our faith. Without works our faith is dead. That is what the Bible says. You can beat it into whatever you want it to be, but it’s still what it says.

    Paul also said:
Php_2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

To obey, is doing what you are told to do. He said WORK out your own SALVATION, with fear and trembling.

If we refuse to obey God we are not fit for the kingdom of God. We will be cast away as a branch that does not produce good fruit.

  • MRH

@Ron: Your words and scripture offerings are vain 🙁

You do not understand God nor his holy word. All you understand is your own conceived false religion, created by twisting scripture unto your own desire. You have zero spiritual insight, as you’ve proven continually. Therefore there is nothing holy left to discuss between us. So again I implore you and your cronies to please forever depart NTEB, so that peace might possibly prevail here for once?

  • Mrh: Please read the private email to you.

  • Ron Murphy: You have twisted your words backwards and forward so many times, all we can believe from you, your mental sick or you a very hateful person trying to decieve whoever you can.

  • Sealed until the day of redemption, doesn’t mean seals can’t be broken. No one can destroy your salvation. No one has power to do that. But anyone can walk away from God at anytime. If we continue in sin, we will face eternity lost from God. You better know it. It a long time to be wrong about it. Make sure your calling in God.

2Pe_1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Fall from what, works? No, fall from grace!

Heb_6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Heb_10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

2Pe_3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

  • A life led by the Spirit, controlled by the Spirit, in step with the Spirit…it’s all Messiah’s work in us and through us.
    God’s speed y’all!

  • Ron Murphy: You are a idiot. We can back slide on God, but that doesn’t mean we lose our Salvation, because when we become a back sldder, do you think God give up on us, that never happens, so your belief is misgiuded!

  • Can you lose your salvation ?

    Eph 1:13-14
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye
heard the word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation: in whom also after that
ye believed, ye were sealed with that
    Holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance
until the redemption of the purchased
possession, unto the praise of his glory.

    Eph 4:30
And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God,
whereby ye are sealed unto the day of

    2 Cor: 22
Who hath also sealed us, and given the
earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

So, we’re sealed till the day of redemption !
and Jesus promises not to lose one that the
    Father has given him !

    John 10: 28-30
And I give unto them eternal life: and they
shall never perish, neither shall any man
pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater
than all; and no man is able to pluck them
    out of my Father’s hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

So what is the Gospel of salvation ?

    1 Cor 15: 3-4
For I delieved unto you first of all that
which I also recieved, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the
    4. And that he was buried and that he rose
again the third day according to the

If you believe 1 Cor 15:3-4 then you are
SAVED, nothing else is required ! and like
Jesus said, you can’t lose your salvation, it’s
sealed to the day of redemption ! No one
can pluck your SALVATION from his hands !

God Bless all – hello STL and MARIE !

  • Hi Mike,
I am so glad to see you again. How are you? How was your trip?

  • Hi Mike,
How are you. How was your trip. Good to see you back again.

  • Mike those verses prove nothing that you can’t fall on your own accord, only that those chosen can’t fall because of something or someone else. You use John 10:28-30, but yet one of Jesus’ very own fall away and took a bribe and committed suicide for his betrayal. Even one of God’s holy prophets fall, by the name of Balaam. Even the wisest man to ever live fall from God and worshipped false gods, Solomon. Ananias and Sapphira his wife, fall from grace. Some fall from grace, and repent, others don’t. God knows what you are going to do before you chose, but it’s still up to you. Your doctrine is just a way not to fear God, which is spiritually unhealthy, causing one to be blind to the truth. Without fear there is no understanding.

  • Please define what fear means to you Ron.

  • Every example you gave is from the Old Testament. Jesus brought in a new covenant. The covenant of Grace.

  • You people teach a predestined doctrine, which is not what predestined means. God would not that any should perish. That choice is upon us. Many are called, but they don’t continue, even as Judas did not continue and fall away. God does not dictate your soul, but He knows before hand what you will do. That’s what predestined means. You cannot think as God does. We can condemn no man, nor can we save him. Many that thought they are saved were sinners, iniquity is sin.

Mat_7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus said he that doeth. What are you missing?

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

1Pe_4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

  • #40 You can be so cruel at times, and when it happens it takes away all your teaching of Jesus Christ. When attacks are done is is of a cryptic spirit, not the Holy Spirit coming forth. You attack then apologize, then do it again. That is a pattern of Emotional Abuse. I think you are aware as it is not a constant thing and that’s even worse than not knowing what you do.

5So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire! 6And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. 7For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race

  • Ron, how do you get some of your text to be bold. Copy and paste does not work and we cannot type it that way from here, so how do you do that please?

  • Mike, having a good day, thanks for the scriptures of our sealed salvation!

  • @Ron,
It’s the Holy Spirit that keeps us sealed; it’s not ourselves, because we simply cannot do it on our own. Even though we are reborn, we are still human. We can grieve the Spirit, but not for long, because God will get our attention. Don’t think that He won’t chastise us. A true Christian who is out of line with God’s Will is living a miserable life. He will bring His own back to Him.
2 Corinthian 1:22 “Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.”

In addition, if someone is living in sin and it isn’t bothering them, then it’s time to worry about salvation.

  • Mike : After one asked Jesus forgiveness of his/hers sins and also revieved Salvation, but that does not stop us being sinners?

  • Ron: we all live in sin, its immpossible not you sin, and we live around sin everyday, but by asking forgiveness of those sins, God forgives them and forgets them.

Regarding sin topic: We are all subject unto sin until we die or rapture prevails. And sin has no boundaries. Anything thing bad we do is considered sin. Whether it be bloody murder, or drinking a ‘toxic’ diet coke.. consequence follows! 🙁

Basically, if we know whatever is wrong and do whatever anyway, then we have sinned. And sin always has a price, be it; prison, jail, illness, etc.. brought on by sin, not natural causes. 😉

Rom 8:10 KJV – And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom 14:23 KJV – And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
1Cr 6:18 KJV – Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1Cr 8:12 KJV – But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.
1Cr 15:34 KJV – Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Gal 3:22 KJV – But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Jam 2:9 KJV – But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
Jam 4:17 KJV – Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
1Jo 1:7-8 KJV – But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jo 2:1 KJV – My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jo 3:4 KJV – Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

  • Yes TeresaB, the pastor is cruel and mean spirited.
I read in one of his post where he stated that if no one liked his answers, they could all go to hell. Wow, and he calls himself a pastor. More like a man who is heavely medicated and posting from a mental hospital.

  • Mr MRH, did you know that the pastor has told everyone on the forum to go to hell if they don’t like what he is posting. He said it himself. His meds may be getting the worst of him. Either that or the weed he consumes in Mexico.

  • Thank you MRH, I will give that a try. Thank you for taking the time to show me, I appreciate that very much. Very kind of you to do that. If you see a post from me in all bold that is a clue that I got the hang of it! HaHa…

just because we are saved that does NOT mean we are without sin as implied by some of the responses … we are still sinners; however, we are FORGIVEN sinners: Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

  • Rev_7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

If indeed we are wash clean of our sins then we are sinless, they have been removed. Yes, we were sinners but now been made clean by the price paid for those sins, the Blood of the Lamb. If we are Christian and have been cleansed of our sins, then we are indeed sinless. We are to repent( Change our view or ways), we are to sin no more.

1Co_15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Okay, what is John saying here.
    :8 that all have sinned.
:9 that we can be cleansed of our sins
:10 We can not say, we have not sinned

Once we are cleansed, the filth of sin no longer remains, we are made white.

  • Ron, have you succeeded at sinning no more? I have seen you sin, you have lied and falsely accused and attacked innocent people. You have accused me of being someone else. You have mocked me and attacked me. You do sin Ron and are not guilt free until you confess your sins to Jesus and ask Him to forgive you. You sin by not believing the Truth about salvation. That is the ultimate sin. And the Bible calls you a liar and the truth is not in you if you say that you have no sin in you.

  • MRH

    @Ron: As Marie stated, U SIN MUCH JUST CAN’T C 🙁

P.S. To be without sin until death is to stay asleep 😉

  • Now Paul states in Romans,

I find then a law, that, when I would do good,
    evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward
23 But I see another law in my members, warring
against the law of my mind, and bringing me
into captivity to the law of sin which is in my
24 O wretched man that I am ! who shall deliver
me from the body of this death ?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
So then with the mind I myself serve the
law of God; but with the flesh the law
    of sin.

Now Paul was a washed in the blood of Jesus
    Christ Christian,…….. YET ! …… “testified
” I myself serve the law of God; but with the
    * FLESH * the law of sin”…WHY ? because sin
was part of his members, he had arms, legs
a torso and * SIN* all part of his make up !
Just like me, you and everybody that has
ever been born on this planet. With the
only exception being Jesus Christ ! Our lord
and Saviour. There is no such thing as a man
or women who does not commit sin !
Whether he/she is washed in the blood of
Jesus or not. While you live in your corrupted
    body !…you will sin !

There is no such thing as a man or women who does not commit sin ! Whether he/she is washed in the blood of Jesus or not. While you live in your corrupted body !…you will sin !

@Name (required) mike: Well stated brother 🙂

And doesn’t matter in what fashion, only that certain sins have greater consequence than others (murder vs. lying). And not only on earth but also in heaven. Anyway, everything we do here affects our future judgment, and there is nothing we can do to escape our personal judgment.

Fact is, none of us will enter heaven untarnished by whatever sins. In fact most of us sin in pure ignorance, not considering simple sins in our daily lives; booze, smoke, sex, drugs, foods, music, movies, etc. And ironically, although this is supposedly a Christian site/blog, the latter is flooded with sins of the tongue.. go figure? 😉

The Lord within me is opening my eyes wide unto varied holy and unholy mysteries 🙂

  • MIKE: Behave LOL

  • We will have the last great outpouring of revival that millions are about to miss this spring. Too busy watching misdirections like the olympics. It will come with or without you. The prophets have already called out to “come out of babylon”.
