NEW WORLD ORDER: Pope Francis Calls For Israel To Give Up Their Nuclear Weapons

The Holy See “has no illusions about the challenges involved in achieving a world free of nuclear weapons,” he admitted, but called for “concerted steps” for all nations to disarm. Gallagher also appeared to single out Israel in calling for “the establishment of zones free of nuclear weapons … especially in the Middle East.” Since 1963, the Vatican has opposed the possession of nuclear weapons, Newsweek reports.

The Holy See has no illusions about the challenges involved in achieving a world free of nuclear weapons.

“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.” Zechariah 14:1-3 (KJV)

They don’t call him ‘Red Francis’ for nothing. Nuclear disarmament is a communist goal. The Vatican knows full well that Iran will use this to build more nuclear weapons, not less and that this deal ensures a world war and bloodshed. Then they put the blame on Israel for having nukes to defend herself. It’s reprehensible. These people aren’t stupid – they have a different agenda than we do.

We can no longer trust or believe any of our leaders and that certainly includes Pope Francis. His message next week will include climate change promotion, an open borders endorsement, the evils of capitalism and the goodness of socialism, and possibly the promotion of a one-world government and a unifying church under the UN.

This isn’t your father’s Catholic Church anymore.

The Vatican released a statement Tuesday officially welcoming the nuclear agreement between the P5+1 world powers (U.S., UK, China, France, Russia, Germany) and Iran, stating that the Holy See believes Tehran will reduce its nuclear capabilities in exchange for sanctions relief. In calling for a Middle East free of nuclear weapons, the Vatican also appeared to target Israel, given that it is the lone nuclear power in the region.

The Holy See has no illusions about the challenges involved in achieving a world free of nuclear weapons. Progress has been made through the NPT, the CTBT, START, NEW START, unilateral initiatives and other measures. But these steps are limited, insufficient, and often frozen in space and time. The Vatican “values positively this agreement because it considers that the way to resolve disputes and difficulties should always be that of dialogue and negotiation,” Archbishop Paul Gallagher said in a statement. Also deserving of support is the establishment of zones free of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, especially in the Middle East.  For its part, the IAEA’s indispensable role in nuclear safety and waste disposal, verification and monitoring will become ever more important as the use of peaceful nuclear energy expands and as the world moves toward nuclear disarmament. source

In addressing the 59th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, the Vatican’s chief diplomat added:

It is clear that the agreement requires further efforts and commitment by all the parties involved in order for it to bear fruit. We hope that the full implementation of [the nuclear deal] will ensure the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program under the [Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty] and will be a definitive step toward greater stability and security in the region.

In his address calling for a worldwide reduction of nuclear weapons, Archbishop Gallagher added that “spending on nuclear weapons squanders the wealth of nations” and said that “the dubious strategic rationales for maintaining and even strengthening” nuclear stockpiles are “morally problematic.”

Gallagher added, “How are these expenditures consistent with progress towards nuclear disarmament?”

The news about the Vatican’s pro-Iran deal position comes as Pope Francis is set to visit Washington, D.C., on September 22. He will then be welcomed to the White House by President Obama on the 23rd. On the 24th, he is set to address a joint session of the U.S. Congress.

Why is a call for nuclear disarmament a bad thing? Should not all civilized people want this?

    • Lol….Israel lives in the constant fear of Iran firing nukes on Jerusalem and you say they should disarm?? That’s insane…

      • Tony

I ran has not caused hostilities to no one for over 200 years. I cannot say the same for Israel. Israel is no doubt a terrorist state.

        • klaus

Iran hasn’t but Aryans have tried to erase jews from the world. Iran means land of the Aryans. Iran has also threatened to remove Israel from the map. Israel is not a terror state. Israel has a democratic government. They allow the worship of different religions. Where Islamic states will not allow one church to be built nor any other religion to practice but Islam. Certain islamic states also still allow slavery. So check your facts.

          • Tony

klaus, whenever a nation denies a group of people the basic necessities of life and enslave a million on a tiny strip of land then one has no other choice but to call that nation a terror state.

          • john33

Tony you brainwashed by the lkeft media,

Go on internet and check tourist areas gaza, book a hotel and check for yourself. STop being a nut in a shell from behind your screen. You wanna talk about go see there for yoursaelf and then come talk !!!

        • Joanna

What about the people who live there? The women have a hard life with no respect from men.
That is why so many would like to leave Iran and live in West.
I used to believe that being nuke-free would be a better world but that was in the days when I was still naive and didn’t know just how evil mankind could be…
Other countries will never give up their weapons despite what the Pope says and there is an agenda going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of…
Trust in Jesus He will be with you, even under intense persecution He is there beside you.
          God Bless

          • Joanna

            I was talking about Iran.

Israel has equal rights for women and girls.
To all Israel -haters I say this-
God loves Israel and His promises to Israel are forever, Christians are to pray for the peace of Israel

There is such increase of replacement Theology in the church which is false doctrine.
            God Bless you all

        • Richard

Tony sounds a bit like an anti Semite, aka, hater of Jews. I recall Iran over running the American Embassy during the reign of Jimmy Carter. They held our people for over 400 days. Sounds like hostilities to me. Maybe you were not born then, and have been attending American public schools. They tend not to teach about such things these days.

          • for sure Richard, sad

          • Tony

I’m not anti-Semtic. I’m anti-Zionist. I would also like to add that the Palestinians are of Semitic origin. Does that mean that you are anti-Semitic by wanting the destruction of the Palestinians?

        • watchman48

Please, you need to rush to the nearest medical center to have a brain scan to check for any enormous tumors….

        • Tony, what about the hostages they have and have taken in the past, they have caused problems and threaten to do more

          • Tony

Which hostages are you speaking of? Taking of hostages is not morally justifiable. I have never said that it was. Now, Israel has broken many UN resolutions and are guilty of many war crimes. How can you support a nation such as that? Is it any wonder that Iran wants these types of weapons when you have a nation, like Israel, acting so erratically?

        • Alicia Noda

Oh, yes, Israel is a terrorist state. A small country with about 11 million people, surrounded by 250 million barbarians. Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. And if Israel disarms itself the Islamic states will come for her.

Here is a report by the liberal CNN (so you will believe): State Department report finds Iran is top state sponsor of terror
          By Ryan Browne, CNN
Updated 8:58 PM ET, Thu June 2, 2016 Washington (CNN)The State Department on Thursday released its annual report on global terrorist activity, listing Iran as the top state sponsor of terrorism and labeling ISIS “the greatest threat globally.”

The report also includes statistics on terrorist activity worldwide, and said 11,774 terrorist attacks in 92 countries occurred in 2015.
The department’s acting coordinator for counterterrorism, Justin Siberell, briefed reporters Thursday on the report’s content, saying the document was used to assess the effectiveness of the effort to combat terrorism and to determine where to best place resources.
On Iran, the report said that country “remained the foremost state sponsor of terrorism in 2015, providing a range of support, including financial, training, and equipment, to groups around the world.”
The report also said that Iran was continuing to provide arms and cash to terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Iraqi Shia terrorist groups, including Kata’ib Hizballah (KH). Both groups are designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations in the report.
Iran is one of three listed state sponsors of terrorism, the others being Syria and Sudan. Cuba was removed from the list last year.
Siberell added that the department was “concerned about a wide range of Iranian activities to destabilize the region.”
Iran’s designation and continued sponsoring of terrorism is bound to fuel criticism of the Iran nuclear deal. Critics of the deal have charged that the removal of economic sanctions would allow Iran to increase its support of terror groups.
During an interview in Davos, Switzerland, Secretary of State John Kerry admitted in January that some of the money made available to Iran by the removal of sanctions would “end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists,” referring to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The report also described the global terrorist threat in 2015 as “increasingly decentralized and diffuse,” noting that ISIS once again was “the greatest threat globally.”
It included a statistical annex prepared by the University of Maryland, which said that worldwide there were 11,774 terrorist attacks in 92 countries in 2015 which resulted in more than 28,300 total deaths.
The report noted that the total number of terrorist attacks in 2015 decreased by 13% when compared to 2014.
Siberell said, “This represents the first decline in total terrorist attacks and resulting fatalities worldwide since 2012.”
However, he added that terrorist activity had increased in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria and Turkey in 2015.
While the State Department lists the Middle East and North Africa as the “primary theater for terrorist activity,” it also highlights the terrorist threat posed to Europe “from foreign terrorist fighters who returned home to Europe to plot and carry out attacks.”
The report says that in 2015, ISIS and al Qaeda “increased their focus on staging mass-casualty attacks,” noting attacks in Paris, Lebanon and Turkey.
The State Department recently issued a travel alert to U.S. citizens considering traveling to Europe, warning about the risk of potential terrorist attacks throughout the continent ahead of the busy summer travel season.
The report notes that Sub-Saharan Africa also “experienced significant levels of terrorist activity” from groups like Boko Haram in West Africa and Somalia-based al-Shabaab in east Africa.
Overall, the report lists 13 “terrorist safe havens” around the world where “terrorists are able to organize, plan, raise funds, communicate, recruit, train, transit and operate.” These safehavens include remote areas in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South America.
The report lists 58 “Foreign Terrorist Organizations,” including ISIS, al Qaeda and various affiliates and branches of those two organizations.

        • Tony…

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Come out from that wicked beast system known as the RCC!

          • Larry/vietnamvet1971

Exactly, not only are people warned to come out of the False religion of Catholicism but ALL the other False religions..even Jesus said 8 times to the religious leaders of His Day..WOE which is a very STERN warning from GOD Almighty.

Being a Believer / Follower of JESUS is a personal one on one relationship not a Religion.

          • Tony

Leigh, I’m sure that you know that the Catholic Church believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is the means of salvation. He is God incarnate. I’m sure that you also know that the Catholic Church is against abortion and sodomite “marriage.” Now, the nation state Israel, on the other hand, despises Christ Jesus and everything that has to do with Christianity. The nation state of Israel supports abortion, forced contraception, and sodomite marriage. Tel Aviv is claimed to be the “gay capital of the world.” Now, given the two situations, it is obvious that the “wicked beast system” is not the Catholic Church.

hey heather… Please do not put him on Obama’s FBI “Watch List”…they will never find him…that must be why all the bombings, killings of obama’s buddies are put on their list….laughing.

          • Heather

            Lol Larry. Ha ha

          • Tony

The only list that I want to be on is the one that is written in the Book of Life.

        • Brum

Tony, how does Israel “denies a group of people the basic necessities of life and enslave a million on a tiny strip of land”? Are you speaking of Gaza Strip? if so you should go look at a map. The people of Gaza are a people independent of other nations, they should be self efficient and not depending upon surrounding nations to give them free handouts for decades upon end.The people of Gaza can travel by land to Egypt and then to Jordan and elsewhere beyond. They also can ttrvel any where else in the world by via the Mediterranean Sea located right at their Western Port of Gaza in Gaza City. if they choose, and they do that daily. They are not held hostage by anyone. So, why do you blame Israel for these imagined crimes, when you ignore Egypt’s handling of Gaza? Did you just emulate someone’s posts you saw online without doing research first?

No one wants another Hiroshima or Nagasaki, but we also know that Iran, Russia, & North Korea will never give up their nukes. Reagan and SALT slowed things down for a while, but we would be naive to think we will ever have a nuke-free world. Even if countries agreed on paper to disarm, how would we ever know for sure? As it is right now, we have to give Iran 30 days notice (or thereabouts) before we can do inspections—plenty of time to hide the evidence. I remember years ago that some nukes went missing, and we can only speculate when they will be used. It will only be after a horrendous war that the Anti-Christ comes on the scene promising peace. That is really what False Prophet Pope Francis is moving toward. His desire for a one-world gov’t and one-world religion will eventually come true, and the world will be the utopia he longs for—for a very short time.
Your heart is in the right place, Tony, but knowing the times we are in, we are unlikely to see nuclear disarmament. Only when Jesus comes will we have 1000 years of peace.

      • Tony

I do not think that we will see nuclear disarmament either. Yes, Reagan did slow things down Bush and Obama have sped things back up for a nuclear showdown with Russia.

    • Lee Rice

Tony, I have heard for years the Pope wd be deeply involved in the end days. And, not in a positive ways. The proof is evident. Israel would be foolish to disarm. If Israel disarms, the result would be so much worse than the Hitler punishment.

      • Tony

The Pope is not calling for disarmament of conventional weapons. He is calling for disarmament of nuclear weapons.

    • watchman48

TONY, are you so foolish to believe all peoples are civilized? Would you give up your guns while the muslim terrorist are banging on your front door… Please use what brains the Good LORD has given you.

      • Tony

watchman, you are assuming something that I never said nor did the Pope say. I have never said that all peoples are civilized. You can make a case for almost every country on Earth that they are not civilized. You can make a good case that the U.S. is not civilized. As I told a previous poster, the Pope is not telling them to give up their conventional weapons. A country has the right to defend themselves. What the Pope did call them out on is nuclear weapons. I truly believe that if all countries would engage in a nuclear disarmament the world would be a safer place in terms of nuclear annihilation.

        • Watchman48

I didn’t say that you said, all peoples are civilized… I asked, are you so foolish. And here is another question for you… Are you so foolish to trust what other nations say when there is no way we can truly verify what they say or do.
I apolize if you misunderstood the point of my question and the use of the word foolish, Maybe I should have used the word naive.

          • Tony

I do not trust other nations and, as a matter of fact, I do not trust this nation 100%. In like manner, as you said to me, how can you trust the nation state of Israel when, in matters, “there is no way that we can truly verify what they say or do”?

          • watchman48

Tony, man’s heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 Therefore we would all be fools to believe that anyone having that kind of power would ever truly destroy his nuclear weapons.
We won’t have to worry about it much longer… I tell how I am most certain the 9/11/01 attack was the first of three major attacks, the second will be approx. 1000 times greater and the third will be unlike anything this world has seen since the Noah’s flood. If interested in the details, Google: “watchman48 RFC Newsletter #101.”

          • Tony

Watchman, thank you for your link. I, too, believe that there will be greater attacks equal to or greater than 9/11. I also believe that there will be a punishment that is coming greater than Noah’s flood if people do not repent and turn their lives back to Christ.

    • Tony, it has been a deterrent and w/out it Iran and other nations have threatened not only Israel but America would use them. The iran deal is hogwash, they have as much as admitted that but yet our president keeps up the illusion that all is well with that deal…ha

  • Santos Garcia

Not yet! Israel has to overcome in this soon Middle East attack on the near horizon, and will then expand her borders to fulfill the Abrahamic Covenant promised by YHVH GOD.

The Ezekiel 38 & 39 WWIII will be years later (perhaps more than a decade)- I believe, with the true Rapture of the church in between these two all-out wars. That’s why America is limp at that time, in response to the Russian/Arab confederacy as described in this Ezekiel passage. Our nation will have lost massive numbers in ‘the Harpazo’- subsequent to the Greatest Spiritual Awakening in the history of mankind.

The chapters that precede the Ezekiel reference clearly show that the nation of Israel is at rest in peace and safety in the land, ‘without bars or gates’, having amassed great wealth and substance in the interim. Which is where the ‘desire’ comes to those that our GOD will sovereignly destroy, to presume to attack Israel once again!

  • He’s a false prophet. No way should Israel disarm. Disarm Iran before Israel. Iran threatens to destroy Israel every day! Obama is the culprit btw. United States citizens cannot wait till he’s gone! He and his fake family. KILLERY Clinton the corrupt witch with pediphile hubby will never make it to office. Corruption and treason = liberals!

    • Tony

So he’s a false prophet because he wants countries to honor a nuclear disarmament agreement but it seems like the Evangelicals/Fundamentalists can’t wait for a war to get started. Our Lord said, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” Based on this, who do you think that the Lord will bless? A man who calls on nations to get rid of their nuclear weapons or a group that is bent on nuclear Armageddon?

      • Bajan

Tony: in a little known or discussed verse in the New Testament, our Lord instructed his disciples to sell their clothing and buy a sword.

        • Tony

Let’s see the verse so that we can discuss it.

          • DeniseC

In case Bajan stepped away for a bit, I looked it up for you:

            Luke 22:36King James Version (KJV)

36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

          • Tony

In response to DeniseC. How do you know that Our Lord intended it to be used as a weapon? We see elsewhere that Our Lord was against such practices,

            Matt. 26
[51] And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear.
[52] Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

        • Tony, the reason the Lord told them to sell their garment and buy a sword was because in these verse Denise shared, the Lord is telling them that while He was with them they didn’t need that sword but He is telling them to go buy one because His time had come to lay down His life and also to ascend to the right hand of the Father and not once btw do you hear the Lord rebuking Peter for carrying a sword around except for in the garden when the Lord’s time for becoming our sacrifice and fulfilling the Father’s will came when Peter cut off that soldiers ear.
That is an excellent scripture reading Denise, ty for sharing, there is a whole sermon right there in those few verses in vs35-37 vs35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. 36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
He is referring to about how while He was with the disciples He was protecting them but how He wants them after His ascension to buy a sword, the Lord still protects us but He gives us wisdom too and we have to be sensitive to His leading on what to do in any given situation. This is a short testimony I heard years ago where a 13 yr old was home alone with her ten yr old brother right after they got home from school and a man broke into their home, now thankfully the 13 yr old was raised in a praying home and she knew how to take authority over the enemy in the name of Jesus so she rebuked the demon working through this man and commanded it to leave and then she prayed for him, this man who was there to harm them fell on his knees crying like a baby and gave his heart to Jesus, he knew Christ as a child but had gone astray into drugs and such as he got older, Glory to God for these parents who taught this young lady how to pray like that and she followed the Holy Spirit’s leading on how to handle this situation and this is what we as Christians must do also. There might be a time to rebuke the demon or there might be a time to defend with a weapon and only God knows the heart of the one who would harm another and He will lead us if we trust and listen to His voice in us for we know His voice because we are His sheep and He is our Shepherd. I would use a weapon to protect my loved ones, really any victim, wouldn’t even have to be a loved one, unless the Lord led me otherwise, you bet I would!

          • WOW Grace, what an amazing testimony! Thank you for sharing this!

          • Tony

Again, one has the right to defend themselves but one is not to use the sword unnecessarily and one should always find a peaceful solution to their problems. Also, you cannot just rip a verse out of the Scripture and make it stand on it’s own. You have to look at ALL of what Our Lord said. He is the Prince of Peace and we must work for peace and try, with all of our might, to get rid of nuclear weapons.

    • Bajan

Just pray that they leave. I would not take that as a foregone conclusion until every one of them lock stock and barrel departs the White House. Sadly a lot of things can happen between now and January 2017.

    • watchman48

It is not fair to lay all the blame of USA troubles on Obama…. I agree this man is evil to his very core.. but the real one to blame is Satan and next to him would be us because of our sins. USA has embraced the abominations of evolution, the removal of prayer from our schools, homosexuality and abortion but the worst of them all is the rejection of Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior… So, are you really thinking Mr. Trump will enter the Oval Office… Sadly that will never happen. The corruption in the democratic party will never allow it. We are on an accelerated downward spiral which can’t be diverted nor stopped…. The time for our chastisement for our sins is here, I guess it could be slowed down somewhat but I certainly don’t expect it too.
God has never allowed the destruction of a nation nor it’s people before first sending His warnings hoping that the hearts of the people might turn to Him… He has been warning USA since the mid 80s but very few are listening. Just as He gave Israel unrighteous leaders because of the Israelites sins, so too has He given USA Pres. Obama. (Daniel 2:21).
The Bible tells us, The fool says there is no God… “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Prov. 1:7 For USA’s final days Google: “watchman48 RFC Newsletter #101.”

These days in September 2016 are almost identical to the days he visited the US in 2015. I hate to say it but something VERY ominous is up.

    • Heather

Notice the the dates he chose to come again to the US. 9-22 and 9-23. Stay away abominator pope Francis! May the Lord rebuke you as you bring your interfaith abominations to this land. I can guarantee we will witness another gathering of an evil ceremony of all “religions” come together to claim the lie that we all worship the same God. We do NOT all worship the same God.
      John 14 : 6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life : no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The day is coming when God’s people will be persecuted for proclaiming this Scripture. Let the persecution come, for as long as I have breath in me, I will never stop proclaiming, JESUS CHRIST THE ONLY WAY!
      Amen and Amen!

      • Leigh

Yes! This too got my attention sis, exact same as last year! Interesting!

      • Larry/vietnamvet1971

I agree heather…IF we stop Praising & worshiping our LORD & Savior the Stones will…I will NOT stop even unto death.

GOD Bless you heather for your Stand for GOD & His Word.

  • Pope Francis I cannot believe what I just read. Are you out of your mind? Read the Boble. We as Catholics stand by Israel!!! They must not give up their weapons!!!!!

    • Tony

Catholics cannot stand by nations that support terror. Besides, no Catholic is bound to support the nation state of Israel.

      • DeniseC

Tony, I see you’ve written a few more comments as I was typing my response above. I thought you visited prophecy sites and knew the truth about the real aggressors in the ME, and it’s not Israel. You sound rather anti-Semitic. I encourage you to read some news and commentary from Evangelical Christian sites, not those in Replacement Theology, btw, which, sadly, includes the Catholic church.

Jerusalem/Israel was given to the Jews by God forever. Palestine never existed, but if they did they were in JORDAN. Palestine comes from Philistine–remember David & Goliath, who was a Philistine. The Pope and the Muslims want control of Jerusalem, which was a Jewish place long before their prophet. Still, the Jews want to live side-by-side with them and actually employ many Muslims—they live better there than in any Muslim country. The Jews tried to play fair, but both sides must do that and it will never happen. In a nutshell, every time Israel gave up “land for peace” they got screwed over. The other side laughed and said, “We got land and they got a piece of paper.” Muslims are allowed to lie for the cause of allah, which is another reason we can’t believe they would have any sincerity in giving up arms. They also place their weapons near women and children so when they attack Israel and Israel defends herself, they can say “Oh, they killed our women and children.” It is not Jews who burn people alive, crucify, rape, behead, drown, and suicide bomb innocent people. Your loyalties are misplaced. I’m thinking maybe you are a Christian (or not one, you never said) who blames the Jews for killing Jesus? Not true at all but nevertheless a false narrative 2000 years old. The Pharisees—high-ranking, legalistic Jews, handed over Jesus to Pontius Pilate (Roman, like the Catholic Church) to be crucified b/c the Jews could not put anyone to death. Yes, there were some who yelled, “Crucify him,” but the first converts and all the apostles were JEWS.

Obviously there is a lot more to study about Arab-Israeli relations/history, but that was brief for me! 🙂 Think about this: if someone relatively new to town forced their way into your home where you’d lived for a long time, claimed it as theirs when you possess the deed, and killed members of your family, would you defend yourself or invite the perpetrator to come live with you?

Finally, some say Catholics aren’t Christians, but, having a Catholic family, I hope God sees them as His. Christians ARE required to protect Israel. First, the best one, I think, showing we are coheirs with the Jews—our siblings! We should protect family, yes? Then the rest. Bless you as you search your heart and scriptures, that you would love your Jewish family.

          DeniseC wrote,

“I thought you visited prophecy sites and knew the truth about the real aggressors in the ME, and it’s not Israel.”

That is not what Israel’s neighbors will say and you know the old adage, “There are two sides to every story.”

          “You sound rather anti-Semitic.”

I’m not anti-Semitic but I do seek the truth. Let me add this, the country of Israel honors and values the Talmud. In the Talmud it says that Christ is in hell burning in excrement. Now, is this not a blasphemy and offensive to Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants? Yes, of course. Does Israel apologize for this and try to remove this trash? No. Now, as a Catholic Christian I cannot support nor defend any nation that utters such contempt for my Lord and Savior.

” not those in Replacement Theology, btw, which, sadly, includes the Catholic church.”

I would rather call it fulfillment theology. Israel finds it’s fulfillment in the Catholic Church. Remember what Our Lord said, “I have not come to destroy the law but rather to fulfill it.” The Old Testament finds it’s fulfillment in Christ.

“I’m thinking maybe you are a Christian (or not one, you never said) who blames the Jews for killing Jesus?”

We all played a role in killing Jesus. It was our sins that He dies for.

          “(Roman, like the Catholic Church)”

Pontius Pilate was a pagan at the time of Christ’s death.

“Yes, there were some who yelled, “Crucify him,” but the first converts and all the apostles were JEWS.”

          That’s 100% Catholic belief.

“Think about this: if someone relatively new to town forced their way into your home where you’d lived for a long time, claimed it as theirs when you possess the deed, and killed members of your family, would you defend yourself or invite the perpetrator to come live with you?”

But this is what is going on with the Palestinians. They have been forced to move from their houses in order for Israelis to move in.

“Finally, some say Catholics aren’t Christians, but, having a Catholic family, I hope God sees them as His.”

          Why would He not?

“Christians ARE required to protect Israel.”

Where does it say that at?

          • DeniseC

Israel’s “neighbors” believe that Jesus is Isa who will come with the 12th Mahdi and support Mohammad/allah. I’m not saying the Talmud is any better, but to have Christ worship the moon god is a worse blasphemy, imo. The bible says that in the end all the Jews will be saved. In fact, EVERY knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I pray for the conversion of Muslims and Jews every day, btw, but I do believe that the Jews are God’s chosen people and we have been grafted in with them as co-heirs. Had they NOT rejected Christ, He would not have turned to us, the Church, and we would all perish. He gave them a temporary blindness, and 2/3 of the Jews will die in the Tribulation, as they will miss the Rapture, but He will never completely forsake them.

Tony, I was Catholic for over 40 years, so I understand a lot of what you are thinking. Having studied the bible for myself, I can’t tell you how free I feel in going “boldly to the Throne of Grace.” I don’t have to pray 50+ prayers to Mary and only a handful of Our Fathers. (SHE didn’t die on the Cross for me, so why the rosary?) I know the BOSS personally; I don’t have to have his secretary put in a good word for me….It’s very hard to let go of things ingrained in us since childhood, but if you pray about it, the Lord will show you the way. If you haven’t already, please search this site for other articles on Catholicism. Geoff was a Catholic, so he also understands. The RCC still teaches that we need to constantly work for our salvation, but when Jesus said, “It is finished,” it was! The burden of saving myself is gone and I can love, honor, and serve Him and ask for (daily) forgiveness w/o having any intercessor but Jesus/Holy Spirit. You have been so polite, and I thank you for it. You make some good points, but I think that the more you search/study, the more you’ll rethink some things. Two of my favorite sites do a much better job than I, so I’m listing them for you. I’ve spent HOURS on these sites; there is just so much info. In the first one, I’ve also given the link to articles; please look for all the things the RCC calls anathema, “Anathemas that Condemn.” It’s amazing anyone could be saved with such rigid requirements. Bless you, Tony!

Lol tony who is setting the standard for terror?? Rome has a good terror history and the usa has killed so many innocent lives in the middle east with their allies so who is a terrorist? Arent all people with bad intensiones terrorist?

        • Tony

If they have bad intentions then, yes, they would be classified as terrorists. BTW, please do not exclude Evangelicals/Protestants from your list. There are some pretty bad stuff in that movements history as well.

  • clayton marchman

the catholic church is showing its true satanic colours .

  • frandee1938

it’s offensive to me that you refer to this evil man as the holy see. he is the holy nothing.

    • The “Holy See” is his title, and yes, it is highly offensive to all Bible believers.

      • Amen Brother Grider! very offensive because it’s a mockery and blasphemy.

  • mg

if he was making that request of me, my reply would be….—k –u !!! I think he’d get it

  • Instead of relinquishing its nuclear weapons, Israel should break off diplomatic relations with the Holy See. Considering that nuclear weapons might be the only military element (outside of divine providence) preventing a full-scale assault by the Arab-Muslim world, such a call from any world leader would be tantamount to demanding that Israel succumb to genocide.

P.S.: Geoffrey, “Holy See” refers to the Vatican itself, especially as a diplomatic entity, not the papacy. The Pope’s official title is “Holy Father.”

  • Richard

The Poop is a fruit cake. Too many countries with nukes are not going to give them up unless some greater power convinces to do so and in such a way that they think it is a good idea. The current Poop does not have that kind of power. Now, later on there will be one who will. But, as I see things in Revelation, nukes are going to be used. Not sure by whom, and not sure of how many, but they will be used. That will be the opening act to seven years of hell on earth such has ever been seen before, nor to be seen again.

  • Larry/vietnamvet1971

Jesus did NOT die to have the pope on earth to play god…him and his False religion..all Pomp & Ceremony looks Impressive to the Peons and other brain washed, indoctrinated Shepples.

    • amen Larry, they need their eyes opened by the Holy Spirit and He will be there to open anyone’s eyes that are seeking and hungry for the truth.

  • Alicia Noda

The unholy pope. John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies. For the misguided people who still follow the unholy false prophet: Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Isaiah 52:11 Depart, depart, go out from there, Touch nothing unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, You who carry the vessels of the LORD.

  • Fat chance of that happening… thats the only thing keeping the arabs from attacking…

So tell me what business it is of the Pope’s to tell Israel to give up their nuclear weapons? Why doesn’t he just crawl back into his little Vatican and go back to telling Catholics what to do. He has no business with the Jews, just like Obamanation telling Israel they can’t build apartments….and who died and left him boss.

  • Very well said DeniseC to Tony . Tony i hope you do check out these sites for yourself and be free from the bondage of Rome .

  • Laura L

The Pope lacks the authority his predecessors had back during the time of the Crusades, so it’s a wonder he has any influence at all. His nation, the Vatican, is the tiniest one on Earth. It’s completely surrounded by Italy and hostile migrants who’ve issued death threats against him. Those same type of death threats were made against his predecessor, Pope Benedict. That’s the reason why Benedict stepped down as Pope. The Muslims made a deal with Pope Francis: if he claimed their religion was a religion of peace, then they wouldn’t threaten to kill him(or at least those not tied to ISIS wouldn’t threaten to kill him). Now he’s calling for Israel to do away with its nuclear arsenal. Gee, how much more obvious could this arrangement between the Pope and the Muslims be?

  • What the Pope says or does should not really shock me, or anyone who has Read up, or studied various books and compare those books with other books.

On The Pope being a Jesuit. This group are the intellegensia of all Priests. Subversion is..they’re specialty. Notice, Pope Was brought in, after The Vatican forced the Former Pope into retirememt. Ever heard of a “Pope” retiring?

This is all leading up to the “One World Government”..

forget about asking israel to give up its nuclear weapons – the land and children of Satan must rather be destroyed….they have brought death and destruction to the Middle East via its baby known as ISIS and for centuries hidden their crimes against Christian Europeans – jews murdered 110,000,000 Black Slaves, slaughtered 100,000,000+ Christian Russians in the jewish Bolshevik Revolution, slaughered millions in the Middle East, the global leader in White Slavery, human organ trafficking, drug trafficking and organized crime – the children of Satan must be destroyed….israel is a fraud, just like the holocaust – they are neither chosen or good

      Isaiah 41:11-12 (KJV)

11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

  • tim

I have looking at this story for a couple of days now and see it is much discussion about nothing.

    Problems with this article:

    1) The SOURCE link has no link.
    2) Mere accusation – “The Vatican knows full well that Iran will use this to build more nuclear weapons, not less and that this deal ensures a world war and bloodshed.”
    3) Assumption (and directly contradicts the statement in #2) – “In calling for a Middle East free of nuclear weapons, the Vatican also appeared to target Israel, given that it is the lone nuclear power in the region.”

The Editor-in-Chief did not think about how those two statements contradict one another.

What is missing is this: “Pope Francis Calls For Israel To Give Up Their Nuclear Weapons”

This just isn’t there. Below is link to the entire statement of Archbishop Gallagher. Guess what? You will not find one reference to Israel. Do a word search and see. Try it!,_calls_for_nukes-free_world/1171936

This is another fake headline with no supporting facts other than Vatican would like to see nuclear weapons go away – wouldn’t we all?

What amazes me is that supposed Christians, who should know better, can’t recognize truth from a lie.

P.S. Heather, you probably want to add me to your list.

I was raised in a Catholic environment but after having had Atheist and Protestant teachers in
a State run high school, I found I needed to make sure that the Roman Catholic Church is indeed
the Apostolic Church built by Christ that it claims to be.

First I read all of Fulton Sheen’s books and then read the writings of the Early Church Fathers
in particular St Augustine of Hippo and then St. Thomas the Aquinas.

Fortunately for me as I progressed in the practice of my faith, the repetitive prayers, the honor
(Not worship) given to Mary, the Mother of Jesus and the example of the saints made sense to me
as it does to many other devout Catholics.

I pray the Divine Office Daily and read scripture regularly and follow the road map of the Teresian
Carmelites as laid out by St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross.

The history of the Catholic Church is not a pretty one…but so is the geneology of Jesus Christ. Therefor
we should not abandon Peter because of Judas.

Like many I am greatly disturbed by the present Pontificate and suffer the pain that scandals caused
by priests who do not practice what they believe. I am horrified by the merciless killing of the unborn
under the excuse of choice and the rebellion against creation by the transgender agenda now being
promoted under the excuse of rights. But much as all these terrify me, it is nothing compared to the
sadness I feel as I encounter Catholics who just shrug their shoulders and are not concerned about these

Now in my old age, I continue to keep up through the internet and International TV stations on what
is happening throughout the world….the chaos.

But I am not afraid…because all this has been predicted to happen …but there is a promise that all
this will pass…because Christ has already won the battle for us. And it is for everyone who believe in
Him that victory is won….so let us hope and pray that all will eventually believe in the Lord Jesus Christ,

    • Very good post. Thanks for sharing.
