False Prophecy Group ‘End Times Prophecies’ Predicts The End Of The World Tonight!

An Internet-based prophecy group, End Times Prophecies, say that doomsday will occur as 'the second coming of Jesus Christ coincides with a magnetic polar flip.' When do they forecast this to occur? Why, they say it will "surely happen" tonight as the twin events of the Second Coming of Jesus coincides with the flipping of the North and South poles. What should you do about it? Nothing. There is not one chance in a hundred million it will happen.

That these are the last days, the end times foretold in the Bible there can be no doubt. And one of the main ways we know this is the abundance of false prophecies clogging up the Internet.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 4:2,3 (KJV)

An Internet-based prophecy groupEnd Times Prophecies, say that doomsday will occur as ‘the second coming of Jesus Christ coincides with a magnetic polar flip.’ When do they forecast this to occur? Why, they say it will “surely happen” tonight as the twin events of the Second Coming of Jesus coincides with the flipping of the North and South poles. What should you do about it?

Nothing. There is not one chance in a hundred million it will happen.

Why The World Will Surely End Tonight, July 29th, 2016 (rolling my eyes):

Watch their short video on why they say the ‘end of the world’ will be tonight, and then read our reasons from the Bible below why it absolutely cannot happen tonight, or any time in about, oh, less than the next thousands years.

The video as seen above, which has had over five million views, claims that a magnetic polar flip will trigger worldwide earthquakes and a ‘rolling cloud’ that will destroy the world. Deep within the Earth, a fierce molten core is generating a magnetic field capable of defending our planet against devastating solar winds.

This all sounds good and ‘exciting’, I’m sure, to a lot of people. But to Bible believers who read and believe what is written in the pages of the King James Bible, we know that the events laid out here in this video do not match in any way with what the Bible actually teaches. Please note the following.

End times events as laid out in the King James Bible timeline:

The Bible says very clearly what we can expect and the order we can expect it in.

  • The Church must fall away from the truth: The mainstream Christian church is in ruins, with money-grubbing and falsely-prophesying Prosperity Movement liars everywhere you look. “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV). That sets the stage for the BIG event that happens after that, namely the Rapture of the Church as seen here:
  • The Pretribulation Rapture of the Church: The Bible says clearly that after the falling away from the truth and the revelation of Antichrist, Jesus Christ pulls His redeemed Church up and into the clouds in the Rapture. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (KJV). You can read a lot more about the Rapture by clicking here.
  • The Rise of Antichrist and the Rebuilt Temple in Israel: After the Church is removed, it will usher in what many people refer to as the Great Tribulation, but the Bible calls it ‘the time of Jacob’s trouble’ as seen here. “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7 (KJV). Jeremiah was on the scene with the prophet Daniel who said that the Temple would be in existence when the Antichrist ruled. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:27 (KJV). Jesus in Matthew 24, backing up Daniel, also prophesied that the Temple would be rebuilt at that time. “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)” Matthew 24:15 (KJV)
  • Judgments Begin Falling Upon the Earth: In the active phase of the time of Jacob’s trouble, God pours out His Judgments on the dwellers of the Earth. 7 Seal Judgments, 7 Bowl Judgments and 7 Vial Judgments just to name a few. This send the population into a tailspin as noted here: “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:14-17 (KJV). You will note the incredible array of events we have mentioned so far, spread out over a number of years, and Jesus has still not returned yet at this point. Wow. But let’s keep going.
  • The Battle of Armageddon: Many books in the Bible talk about this one, and you will find it in Zechariah 14 and Ezekiel 39 specifically. “Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.” Zechariah 14:1-4 (KJV). And Who shows up to fight for God Almighty? Glad you asked, because now we have the Second Coming.
  • The Second Coming of Jesus Christ: Here it is – “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:11-16 (KJV). But all this does not “usher in the end of the world”. Not by a long shot. What it does usher in the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ as King reigning from Jerusalem.
  • The Thousand Year Reign of Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ will rule the Earth from a literal, visible, physical Throne in Jerusalem over a literal, actual, 1,000 year period of time. “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4-6 (KJV)
  • The Battle of Gog and Magog: Then we have another battle which is rather short, the Battle of Gog and Magog. “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.” Revelation 20:7,8 (KJV). End of the world? Nope, not yet. One more big event first.
  • The Great White Throne Judgment: After Satan is finally put down, for good this time, a judgment of all the souls in Hell takes place. The Bible calls it the Great White Throne Judgment. “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:11,12 (KJV). Whew! Tired yet? You should be, but take heart because NOW it’s the end of the world.
  • The Earth Destroyed and Remade For Eternity: After all this, then God blows the universe to smithereens, and builds a brand, new one that has no trace or stain of sin in it. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” 2 Peter 3:10-13 (KJV).

These are just the highlights of the events that must take place before the end of the world. There is more that in the interest of time and the average reader’s short attention span have been left out, like the Judgement Seat of Christ and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

So the next time some false prophet wants to scare you into thinking that the “end of the world” is about to happen, please share this brief timeline with them first and then see what they say.

Chances are they will not be familiar with the bulk of what is laid out here.

What should you do in the meantime? You should witness to the lost, hand out gospel tracts, and keep scanning the skies for the Day when we will be taken out in the Pretribulation Rapture.

Keep looking for that BLESSED HOPE!

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 (KJV)

Spot on Geoff. I’m still passing out your tracts. Getting low. There’s still time.
    I’m Titus 2:13

  • Ford

don’t you think the time of Jacobs trouble could have been when the Roman Army ransacked Jerusalem? I’m not a futurist and I believe much of Revelation has already been filled.

    • You ain’t seen nothin yet. Rev. 6 :7 Fourth part of the earth’s population dead.– That has never happened since John wrote his vison, right? How about “all the green grass burnt up” Rev. 8:7 Here’s one for you–Rev. 16:20 “every island fled away and the mountains were not found.” Many prophesies were fullfilled in part in 70 AD, many have a past and future (dual) fulfilment.

    • av1611believer

If Revelation is a prophecy of events in 70 AD that is highly problematic because Revelation was not written until 96 AD! (26 years AFTER 70 AD).

LOL. Never mind the obvious fact that nothing predicted in Revelation happened in 70 AD.

      • Ford

The time of Jacobs trouble isn’t mentioned in Revelation be cause it had already occurred

    • FartwaCenter

While Jesus did prophesy of the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem the book of Revelation was written after this event.

  • Sounds to me this group of false prophets are from the Church of “Chicken Little” you all remember him? He is the one always hollering:
“The sky is falling, the sky is falling”

  • Howdy Y’all, WOW! It seems that they should be paying attention to their own opening rhetoric. All this today? And on an old girlfriend’s birthday?? How did she set this all up?????? I still have a load of wash to do… Blessings, BuffaloBilly

    • Brother BuffaloBilly, if I were you, I’d plan on doing that load of wash before the weekend is over, or by the first of the week! You will have lots of time! For those who are weak-minded enough to commit suicide tonight, as J.W.’s did back in 1929, I’m sure their world will come to an end. I imagine some of these poor deluded followers of this false prophet will have some laundry needing a good washing out before morning; fear can be a terrible thing! My world is guaranteed at least another 1007 years before the “house cleaning” and renovations of 2 Peter take place! Blessings!

      • Howdy Skywatcher, Good to hear from you my friend. Actually, I hate doing dishes and laundry. I think I’ll do a little bass fishing instead. At least they are “well-schooled” and don’t buy into this “end-of-the-world nonsense. Blessings, BuffaloBilly

  • marlene

Thank you so much, Geoffrey Glider. Now, I finally have the time line of events straight – WWIII, Battle of Armageddon, war of Gog & Magog, then the Earth IS destroyed. I’ve heard from so many preachers that “the world will never come to an end” and “the Earth will never be destroyed” and was confused the Bible said “the new Earth.”

    • Marlene, the world is NEVER destroyed! It is renovated by fire, as is correctly rendered in 2 Peter 3. When one guts and renovates a house, it isn’t destroyed, it is renovated! Was the world/planet destroyed/annihilated by Noah’s flood? Of course not! It’s still here, and so are we! It was renovated, remodelled or refashioned, but not destroyed/demolished/annihilated as we define the word to mean.

Psalm 93: 1: “The LORD reigneth, he isclothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith hehath girdedhimself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.” See: 96: 10

Isaiah 45: 17: “But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation; ye shall not be ashmaed nor confounded WORLD WITHOUT END.” (Emphasis mine)

Ephesians 3: 21 makes it very clear that the world will never end: “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, WORLD WITHOUT END. Amen.” (Emphasis mine)

The planet is never destroyed. Christ, said, “Behold, I make all things new.” He speaks of restoration to their original pre-fallen condition/state.

      • Marlene, it will still be the same planet with a new layout and new furnishings! 🙂

        • marlene

          Thanks, Skywatcher57.

  • Excellent post, Geoff! I believe a great many of them who follow after this “techno chick” is either going to be greatly disappointed to wake up and find themselves still here in the morning! I hope they quickly realize the fools they have been for supporting such a false ministry as that! Furthermore, I don’t know what this gal was reading for Scriptures, but the modern mess she was reading was greatly embellished, compared with the KJV! To “reel to and fro” (KJV) is a lot different than “the earth will crack open”!

I’m amazed at how many have watched their well produced video. They’ll believe her lies before they’ll believe the truth. Sometimes, I wish the O.T. practice of stoning to death the false prophets was still in practice today! We’d have a lot fewer sites online puking out false information! Blessings!

  • Actually, ETP did not make this video. They’re scammers. They upload other people’s labor-intensive videos and then re-title them with catchy “click-bait” phrases to garner revenue from the “views” and “adverts”! Sad, but true!

If the Antichrist is revealed prior to the Rapture, that would put the church within the 70th week (that begins with the confirmation of the peace agreement by him-which is how he’s revealed.) 2Thess2:3 just says the Day of the Lord can’t start until he’s revealed, which was the church’s fear at that time-that they were already in the tribulation. Also, doesn’t the Restrainer have to be taken out of the way before the Antichrist can be revealed??

    • Good Question. I too, would like to know the answer to your question. It does state that AC is revealed prior to the rapture.

    • av1611believer

The issue here is that the day if the Lord is not the Rapture. It I’d God’s entire period of wrath on this earth.

The restrained is the Church (the body of Christ). Hence the Antichrist cannot be revealed until the Church is gone.

    • carson

      is the rapture pre-wrath?

MOST people do not know what the pre-wrath rapture is they seem to get it entangled with a post tribulation rapture, pre-wrath is NOT post trib.
Nor is it mid trib. (study the 4, pre-trib, mid trib, pre-wrath, post trib, of them the mid trib has the least scripture backing and makes the least sense if mid trib is taken to mean right at the seating of the AC)

pre-wrath fits 2nd thess 2, also fit rev 7 and rev 15 and many more.
The people of Rev 7 who came out of the GREAT trib (matthew 24:15-22 shows when the GREAT trib starts) cannot have come OUT of the GREAT trib unless they were IN the great trib, and the people of Rev 15 could not have overcome the worship and mark of the best unless they’d seen some portion of those beast mandates implemented, unless they’d seen some portion of the beasts era of reign…yet they are all shown in heaven before the 7 vials of wrath.
(the folks of rev 7 who came out of the Great trib are the same folks of rev 15, study they way they are introduced to us, it’s as if we’re already supposed to know who these of rev 15 are, as if we’d already met them, and these of rev 15 saw some portion of the beasts era=just as those of rev 7 saw some portion of the beasts era, so it seems the 2 groups are the same their simply shown once again in rev 15)

Then study the 3 sets of judgements, the 7 seals the 7 trumps the 7 vials, which of the 3 have the words/term wrath with them?
The 7 seals of wrath? NO.
The 7 trumps of wrath? NO.
The 7 vials of wrath? YES.
And the verse all know-not appointed to wrath.
And the vast group beyond number is in heaven before the 7 vials are poured out.

Then study ‘souls’ of rev 6 and rev 20..these are called souls and goes further to say they died and how and why they died.
Then note those of rev 7 and rev 15 are not called souls, does not say they died.
Does take the time to say they suffered hardships, hungry and hot sun beat down on them (outcasts of society/outdoors/persecuted etc).

But wouldn’t those souls of rev 6 as example also have suffered hunger/hardships before they were executed for the faith? But it’s not mentioned as hardships wasn’t the worst they suffered but death is the worst.
So why are hardships listed for those of rev 7 as if that’s the worst they suffered?, hardships and not death?

Then study ‘he who restrains’ as best as can.
Are there any verses which show who besides Christ fought and will fight with the devil? YES.
Any verses which show who contended with the devil? YES.
From the daniel 12 to jude 9 to revelation 12 and more there is Michael the archangel shown as also given the command/task/position of contending/fighting with the devil.
Is this something new? That Michael might be ‘he who restrains’? Not at all, that’s been around for longer then the pre-trib rapture idea.
      Is the bride a ‘he’?
Is the Holy Spirit a lower case ‘he’?
And the Holy Spirit will not be about the earth during the Great trib? Of course He will. People will still be convicted of sins during the Great trib and some will even be saved.

And the ‘come up hither’…spoken to john, along with the 24 elders having their crowns..but their fairly specially appointed folks to be seated as elders so why wouldn’t they have been through their rewards judgement prior to their seating as elders?
What has that to do with the body of believers?

If all had been through the rewards judgement for believers why don’t those souls of Rev 6 even have their robes yet?
The souls of rev 6 would be all who’ve died for the faith since Christ up til before the rapture, yet they don’t have robes yet.? Then they are given robes but this is after the 24 elders who already have their crowns and robes obviously were introduced to us so the 24 elders are specially appointed people.

Then again note the folks of rev 7 do have their robes, but again where did they come OUT from? The GREAT trib, and one cannot come out of something unless they were in it, and the folks of rev 15 have harps even and they obviously overcame the beast mark worship and one cannot overcome the beast unless one saw some portion of his era…and their not called souls nor does it say they died and their in heaven before the 7 vials of wrath, this is pre-wrath and obviously differs greatly from post trib.

anyway food for study I guess.
And when does the GREAT trib start?=matthew 24:15-22, the abomination, THEN, Great tribulation and again all the vast number group are seen in heaven before the 7 vials of wrath and were never called souls.

  • There is a question mark looming over the doctrine of “World without end” You have to go to the Greek to gain a little more insight. Some translate it differently. tend to lean toward the description of 2 Peter.3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat; the earth also, and the works that are in it, shall be burned up.11Seeing, then, that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living {conversation} and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwelleth righteousness.
The words “pass away”, elements melting with fervent heat” “burned up” “dissolved”. To me when something is dissolved, melted with fervent heat…The elements. Does that mean just a certain depth of the earths’s surface will burn up? Rev 21:1 says Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” I like the idea of God just saying “out with the old. In with the new.” “Behold, I make ALL things new.” As to the timing of all the events leading to The end of the World that video is crazy wrong.

    • av1611believer

Greg, we don’t need to go to “the Greek”. The King James Bible is the perfect word of God for English-speaking people. It is actually far more precise and clear than any Greek. Greek is a dead language and God is finished with it. We should be as well.

  • Marian

Well, here we are… morning and the world hasn’t ended. These whackados just make it hard on those of us who try to share what the Bible REALLY says, as is so accurately posted here.

I will say this, though. Some are pointing to current events that very much sound like the 4 Horseman of the Apocalypse are already riding. I don’t accept that because it’s Jesus who opens the seals that release those horrible steeds. I keep telling folks that Christ isn’t a wife-beater. He is going to snatch His Bride before laying the smackdown on the wicked world.

    • You’re absolutely correct, Marian! You hold onto that thought! 🙂

  • Dan

Geoff , I didn’t even finish reading your article but I had to comment because I heard about this somewhere else this morning and all I could think of was (ignorance is bliss). I say that tongue in cheek because of course I don’t believe we’ve seen enough signs yet for Christ’s return.

So finding out Christ’s return was last night made me laugh.

  • shawn

Your right Marian, however he is really good at the silent treatment. lol Over two thousand years and counting.

    • av1611believer

Uhhh, I think it has only been 1,983-1,986 years.

      2016-30 to 33AD= 1,983-1,986. Not 2,000 yet. 🙂

    • Marian

So you don’t think Jesus speaks to His Bride? Speak for yourself. He spoke to me and I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior 😉

      • Leigh

        Amen Marian!!

  • RobiMac

Lol, they must have meant August 29, or September 29, or October 29.
    So much for their facts.

  • CHAR

Well, here we are going on with our lives the day AFTER we were supposed to be gone. So this gal just killed her credibility. She will have to go back to the drawing board and re-configure her story. How many will believe her next time? Doesn’t this sound familiar? This has happened how many times already? I think the enemy sets these things up so that when we, as Christians, tell people that the Lord is coming soon, it will be that much harder to convince them, but when the Holy Spirit works in them, then they will believe, because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!

  • JA

Awesome post!… I was thinking all this when I first read this article on another end times site I read as well..

  • This is kind of like that one guy who wrote a book about the blood moons saying the end was coming… I guess we are still here, and he made A LOT of money off that false teaching…

    More End Time News At:
    http://www.shininginthedark.com/?page_id=11467

    • Dan Jones, there is a huge difference between the author (Jonathan Cahn) who wrote about the Blood Moons, and End Times Prophecy writer. Jonathan NEVER set any dates for the Rapture, the Second Coming, or the end of the world. In his books, he strongly stated that these would not be harbingers for “the end of the world”! These End Times Prophecy people ALLEGEDLY said it would be all over today. I say, “ALLEGEDLY” because one poster on here stated that this website was taken over by another party and what they said was seriously manipulated to say what they (the ghost writers) wanted to say.

The Blood moons in the past have NEVER EVER brought about any judgment AT THE TIME OF THEIR APPEARANCE. According to history, the serious issues ALWAYS happened on one side or the other of the appearances. Therefore, based upon what is going on in N. America and the rest of the world right now, I’d have to say Jonathan, Mark Biltz, and John Hagee (I don’t support him) were correct in what they wrote about the blood moons and pending judgment, based upon past historical evidence.

  • jimmyb

Geoffrey; Great post, not that Christians should always have to straighten out false prophets. Those who make such predictions, and especially those who follow them, are not Christians. How can they be, and not have discernment? One can’t just slap on the label of Christian, and not know what it says. This goes for all the cults especially. They have heaped to themselves teachers, having itching ears. They are in the place they want to be. There is no excuse for believing in false prophets in this day and age, with the massive information available at our fingertips.

I have a question for you. Wouldn’t the scripture given in Revelation 6:14-17 be at the very end? How can they want to hide themselves unless they see him? And if they see him, it IS the end. Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him. I would like your take on that, since you did place that scripture earlier than I would have.

    • Thank you! And yes, you have observed correctly. Contained within the book of Revelation are 4 places where God takes the reader all the way to the end – and then – picks up where it left off in the timeline. This confuses a lot of people until you understand what He is doing…..here are the other places it occurs:

      Chapters 8 – 11, ending with 11:15, with chapter 10 being parenthetical.
      Chapters 12 – 14:20
      Chapters 15 – 19

  • Terri

I have to laugh and think what fools these date setters are. God knows past, present and future and if anyone was going to know the date God would have said or he knows in advance that no one will ever select the date he has chosen, all it does is diminish his name to non Christians. When my son died I got this epiphany which seemed like God was telling me he would come within three years,.. Yea I know but no date. I never told anyone I thought that and never really believed it would happen, but boy did hope. I still kept quiet since no one knows the date and time and I knew this so I said nothing about my thinking. Mine was more wishful than anything but no matter what I would never have said what I thought cause I knew if Jesus did not know why would I even be given a time frame when he would come. Of course, it is long past and still no rapture but Christians living here have plenty of work to do be Jesus comes for his bride and yep I feel silly for admitting what I hoped for. This is the only site and the only people I ever admitted this to but it was a low point in my life. I will still see my Rich just not as soon as I was hoping for.

    • Terri, I hear your heart, and mine aches, just knowing that you’re hurting. Thank you, for this part of your testimony, and there is NO need to feel foolish or ashamed for having felt that way. I think it is great that you feel “safe” to share your heart with us!

Terri, as weak and frail humans, we tend to reach out and grasp at any ray of hope we can find, even if sometimes we have to make it up. For some, it is seeing the image of the Virgin Mary on a tree, in a sauce pan, etc. I’m NOT saying you made it up; the thought just came to you, and that’s allowed. God knows our hearts; He sees them when they’re broken and He sees them when they’re running over with joy; He’s there for it all. However, we still get excited at the prospect of the soon return of our Savior and the reunion with our saved loved ones who’ve preceded us. It’s supposed to be that way!

For those who are reading this, who may not know why it is not recommended to set dates as to when the Rapture will happen, or as to why it is impossible to do so, let me tell you. There are too many time zones in the world! We are not all on the same clock or calendar! I’m going to bed shortly, and it is past midnight, July 31. Somewhere else in our world, it is morning for some of those folks, and they’re already sitting in church!

As another example for you Terri, you’re not the only one who feels they’ve had a revelation or an epiphany of sorts at such times! There are those who believe they know who the AC is going to be…because God told them who, or they had “an inkling”! I just happen to be one of them too, but God didn’t tell me! He’s presiding in the Oval Outhouse, but we’ll not be here for me to prove it, thank God! Being here to see and hear him on the news is bad enough! I have an instinct that says Obama is the one. I could be wrong; I have been before, but it sure does appear to be so…

Terri, when my sister was killed on her 19th birthday, I went back to Bible College two days later to write my Christmas exams. I was uneasy because I wanted to know if my sister was saved or not. Of course, nobody could tell me. Suddenly, I started getting recurring dreams in whichI WAS THE ONLY ONE who could see her! This puzzled me for quite a few months. After more time and recurring dreams had passed, one day, I felt the Holy Spirit telling me in my spirit that I was the only one who could see her because I was the only Christian in the family and she was too. We had a connection!

When I had that realization, I was at peace, just like you! The Comforter had come to me in my spirit and I was comforted, and am to this day.

Since then, her boyfriend, who was responsible for her death (car accident) told me that the two of them had been going to the Baptist Church I had been saved in, and that she had invited Christ into her life. Turns out, he lies like a rug, so I really don’t know what to believe, but I still, every once in awhile have those very same recurring dreams! I’m assuming that God sees my need for more reassurance and comfort. I won’t really know until I get to the other side, but for now, I’m hanging onto that hope, and I trust you will too!

  • I differ from you in one point: The pre-Tribulation rapture. The way i interpret the Bible, the Rapture is with the Second Coming. People ask me, why would YHWH allow people to gain much just to let them suffer? Because the Lord said, to whom much is given, much shall be required. The Pre-Tribulation is very popular with prosperity teachers, and i think you can see why: gain a lot here, get energised with no choice to make between the money or the faith, all is good and no hard feelings.

There is only one Rapture because there is only one Second Coming. Some ask, what then about the Tribulation and the Plagues? Some cannot comprehend, that Tribulation and Plagues are two different effects for two opposite sides: The Plagues come on the followers of the World System, who worship the Anti-Christ and its god (allah/satan), because of their Tribulation over those who hold fast to the Words and Testimony of their True Christ Yeshua/Jesus the Son of YHWH.

I was a visitor to the IFCC/RHEMA shows for quite a while. I’ve read and heard and believed a lot of what they lie up as Truth. And i do believe, that iSlam is the Great Tribulation coming. Allbe chipped, but not without saying the iSlamic Creed first. Refuse and be killed or tortured, accept and be enslaved by the forces of the Imam Mahdi.

    • J.F.D. Smit, you’re allowed to differ; time will tell. However, the Bible is replete with passages that support a pre-trib rapture and there is no supporting texts at all for any other, post or mid. You’re right, there is only one rapture, and only one Second Coming.

Logical and sound theology dictates that we cannot come back with Him in the Second Coming if we haven’t already been received by Him as promised in John 14: 3I Thess. 4: 16, 17. One first must go somewhere to be able to come back…

  • marlene

    Am I dead?

    • Marlene, Marlene, you kill me! I’m glad I wasn’t eating anything ’cause I would’ve choked! I laughed right out loud and hard! That’s too funny! That’s the best laugh I had today! NO! You’re not dead; you wait for the rest of us! You’re more alive in Christ today than you were day before yesterday! 🙂

      • marlene

Phew – good news – lol. Your reply made me laugh too – thanks for that. And yes, I’ll wait for all of you – and thanks for that too.

  • jamie Kelley

Wow really The word says we shall not know the day or the Hr not even Jesus his son knows, nor the Angels around the Garden of Eden. But watch for the time draweth nigh.

    • Kaye

Amen brother when anyone says the return of Christ will be at a certain time know that it is not in what the Bible tells us. Have faith that God has this and everything in his hands. But I pray that the Lord comes soon!!!

  • OOPS! WRONG AGAIN!
I just read this at 9:02 P.M. on the 30th and guess what??? I’m still here! Looks like tomorrow will again be the first day of the rest of my life. Goody!

  • Perhaps this would be a really good time to say ” God Only Knows “!

  • First of all they should know – South pole doesn’t exist 😀 .

The WORD OF GOD Teaches That :

_ The Church, The Bride OF CHRIST Is not some denomination,
But The Brotherhood And Sisterhood of believers In JESUS-CHRIST.

_ Faith In JESUS-CHRIST AS THE SAVIOR Is Possible ONLY BY The Indwelling OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
To Realize The TRUE Church, The Bride OF CHRIST.
(THE HOLY SPIRIT At Conversion RESURRECTS man ‘s spirit that died at The Fall.
(Fallen man lives by his soul – the mind – but not his spirit which is dead. )

_Therefore when the anti-CHRIST appears, THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS CEASED HIS RESTRAINING MISSION,
ALLOWING ha-satan to empower his chosen prince.

(Just in passing, What, Or Rather WHO, do you think IS STILL PREVENTING the unholy trinity in taking over ?
(Just look at the world. What Force can possibly impede the One-World Government ? Surely not us the puny humans !
(We the saved-THROUGH-JESUS’-BLOOD believers, fail to appreciate The Restraining Power Of The Still Present Church.)

_ BUT THIS RESTRAINING POWER IS OPERATING SOLELY BY THE HOLY SPIRIT PRESENCE In The Church.
As With Lot in Sodom, GOD DIDN ‘T DESTROY the city until this righteous man prodded BY GOD ‘S Angels, had left for good.

_ So as long as The HOLY-SPIRIT-INDWELT Church Is Still In the world,
the spiritual decay is delayed, preventing the anti-CHRIST from appearing.

_ Now, are we to think That THE HOLY SPIRIT Would Depart the world to allow for the anti-CHRIST coming,
but leaving behind The Church, The Very Bride OF CHRIST, after telling her “You are on your own !” ?

By the way, what Church ?
For there can be no Church Without THE HOLY SPIRIT.
The Church Without THE HOLY SPIRIT is no church at all.

_ So, If THE HOLY SPIRIT DEPARTS the world, The Church, The Bride OF CHRIST Departs With HIM.

_ There can be no half-departure or half-arrival either.

_ Therefore, The Full RAPTURE Of The Church IS before the advent of the unholy trinity, not halfway through it.

    • Thank you, Brother Alain Humbert, for that excellent teaching! The Church today, is in desperate need for solid Bible teaching like you’ve presented. For some reason, it appears that critical thinking and reasoning is not a huge part of society today! People hear something and run with it, as though it’s the gospel truth, without first doing their due diligence to make sure it aligns with the rest of God’s Word. This makes life very complicated and causes confusion within the body of Christ. You and I (and many others reading) know who the author of confusion is, and it’s not God!

God bless you, Bro! Keep up the great work of “rightly dividing the word of truth”! Our work will soon be over!

      • alain humbert

        Brother Skywatcher57,
        Thank you for your communication.
I look up to learn from my other brother and sisters too.
What we have to keep in mind is That THE WORD OF GOD IS EXPLAINED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT HIMSELF,
        not human intellect
as the Gnostics would have us believe.

  • Leigh

These types of cults give true Bible believers a bad name and give the atheist’s more fuel for the fire to mock and scoff at us!

The bible PLAINLY tells us, But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Can people not just open their Bibles and read this?

  • Louise

I am more confused than ever about the comments concerning the events to come.

    • Skywatcher57

Louise, what part has you confused? Can you be more specific, please?

      • Louise

Well the fact that one says we will live the Great Tribulation and others say no. The more I read the comments and the verses associated, the less I understand. It’s not the first time that happens though.

        • @Louise , brother there are 3 views Pre Mid and Post tribulation and all have merit depending on who your asking.

I’m not sure if you can still find this topic on the topic page for NTEB but if you can you will see we have argued the topic of tribulation into the ground on here.

If your asking me I would tell you why worry about it because it does not have anything to do with your salvation but enjoy it when it

happens because what a sign it will be! I prefer the Pre-Trib view.

          • Those “3 views” need to come with a footnote, brother. These are not 3 equally valid positions, you can only arrive at 3 by failing to do ONE thing – rightly divide. Jeremiah 30:7 (KJV) tells us CLEARLY that the Tribulation is for ISRAEL, not for the Church:

“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7 (KJV)

So if Jeremiah “got it right”, then both the Mid and Post Trib positions just sailed out the window! How much of the Tribulation is for the Church? NONE. How much is for Israel? ALL OF IT. However long the Tribulation lasts – anywhere from 3.5 to 7 years – none of it is for the Church.

  • Louise

    My comment disappeared.

    • @Geoff, that statement “rightly dividing your bible” still makes the hair on my neck stand up because even though I agree with your view (which I do) it still doesn’t give me the right to say someone else’s view is not equally as important when the facts are as the are in this case.

Geoff , there are scholars that would tell the same thing that I’ve just said so we should at least realize there are people who have dedicated their entire careers to the very subject we are talking about and with all humility except what they’re telling us and that is all the views are plausible.

    • Louise, I saw your comment! 🙂 Please take a peek at my suggestion to danmacre. These are wonderful resources that God has allowed very learned men of God to prepare for the Church. Those two authors and John F. Walvoord are spiritual giants in their own right!

These books are very INEXPENSIVEon eBay or Amazon, and are well worth their weight in platinum! Every child of God should have these parked right beside their Holy Bible, IMVHO! If you want another real powerful blessing of God upon your life, and know where you, a member of the Body of Christ stands in these last days, you MUST have these! Otherwise, as you’ve already seen and experienced, there are too many conflicting beliefs out there, that don’t align with God’s Word. They cause serious confusion. These books clear it up…once and for all! God bless you!

    • Geoff,

why do you think Jeremiah 30:4-7 is a future event when verses 4-7 could easily be viewed as a “flashback” to what the Lord had said *earlier*

about Israel and Judah, prior to the promise of return?

      • Because of this:

“For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.” Jeremiah 30:3 (KJV)

        May 14, 1948.

        • How long after the exile is the rest of this fulfilled?

The time of Jacob’s trouble Jeremiah 30:4-7 is *assumed* to be future but verses 4-7 could easily be viewed as a “flashback” to what

the Lord had said *earlier* about Israel and Judah, prior to the promise of return. . Any fulfillment view would be future to Jeremiah’s

time ; like the Ephraimite tribes returning back to the land.

  • danmacre, I’m afraid I would have to most definitely side in with Geoffrey on his position of “rightly dividing”. Theology books that were written by extremely knowledgable men of God from yesteryear, have dealt extensively with this subject. They have 38 arguments for a Pre-Trib rapture, and only a couple that others use for the other positions. These other positions have formed due to people lifting passages out of context, ignoring chronological ordering, sowing seeds of doubt (John Darby and others of his following), and misunderstanding.

These stalwart Bible scholars attack all three positions from every conceivable angle, and the arguments for a Pre-Trib rapture stand, upon which we three agree. You may already have this book, but if not, it is an excellent eschatology book, “Things To Come”, by Dr. J. Dwight Pentecost. He takes EVERY prophetic subject/topic and does an excellent exposition on them. He uses the findings of early Church fathers and others since then, and reaches undeniable conclusions. I highly recommend him beyond measure! He shows the errors of the other two positions, based upon Scripture and sound reasoning.

Henry Thiessen’s book, “Lectures On Systematic Theology” is another book that deals with these topics and MUCH MORE, very extensively. Every Christian should have these two books in their library, so they can read the arguments for and against, and see how they fit into Scripture, on their own time with a cup of coffee, without pressure or interruptions. These theology text books are classic, and very easy to read and to understand/follow! God bless you!

    • Skywatcher, rightly dividing to understand the difference between who the apostles were talking to and who paul was talking to is fine but my

point still remains about when the trib will begin and that is ; what does it matter?

Instead why not talk about the signs preceding the trib; that’s what we should be talking about. Because when it happens we will know it and

that my friend is most important. Here’s something else ; we can’t be sure that the rapture will happen or when ; it’s speculation.

Now, if the rapture happens will grace by faith still be the way to salvation? You see this is one of the points that dispensationalism

has to defend but there is really nothing in the bible that says there will be no grace by faith during the tribulation.

Dispensationalism also has to defend the issue of the church not being on earth during the tribulation which can be challenged.

Again SW these things bring me back to what I feel is more important and that is; let’s be glad we are all waiting for the same thing

and when it happens the fact that it’s happening will be the reason we are happy not because some of us were right and others were not.

Blessings to you my lucky friend in Canada. I say that because if the SHTF which I believe is possible ; I would rather be in Alaska or parts of

      Canada.

Things To Come”, by Dr. J. Dwight Henry Thiessen’s book, “Lectures On Systematic Theology” I will see if I can find them online pdf

      • danmacre, like you, I’m glad my salvation doesn’t depend upon Christ’s rapturing the saints or when. I believe that after the rapture happens, grace will still be the result of faith in Christ, for w/out Christ, there can be no grace. I hope you can find those books in pdf, but if not, twenty dollars or less for each in hardback is not a bad price!

As for when the feathers hit the fan in your country, I’m not sure Canada is the place you want to come to. We’re not that far behind you in our dictatorship, and ahead of you in many ways. In fact, about 1 1/2 hrs. ago, I was showing my fishing buddy the huge property that has been cleared by the military behind and adjacent to my aunt and uncle’s property. It’s a whole huge tract of land that has been stripped of forest and cleared for FEMA camps! It is about 1 mile from the base itself, and yet, out far enough away from it to make it a perfect camp and loading facility when martial law is declared!

The time for folks to stop arguing about secondary issues is over with! We need to be reaching out to others for Christ! We’re fast running out of time!

Please pray for my province of Nova Scotia! We haven’t had any significant amount of rainful in most of the province since May! Wells are drying up, cattle have been eating standing hay (dried grass) in the pastures all summer; etc. The woodlands is a tinderbox area, and clearcutting didn’t help at all! Currently, there are three or four forest fires raging only about 40 minutes away from me, via car travel time. The wind just never seems to stop as of late! We definitely do not want another Ft. McMurray scenario! It is gray outside, threatening rain, but it never comes; it moves away from us, bringing “clouds with no rain”. Thank you, and others for your prayers! God bless you all!

        • Leigh

Brother T. I have been praying for rain in N.S. and will continue to do so! Im trusting the Lord your well will be full before winter! God bless you!

          • Thanks, Leigh! That is becoming a concern too, but I have never ever seen God not fill the wells for winter. Then again, I’ve never seen this world so wicked before either…

Please continue to pray that the forest fires near me can be put out; it’s windy and hot here again today! When I was growing up, we only had “March winds”; now, it’s windy almost every day! It’s nice for “living”, but not so nice when it works against us! God bless you too!

  • Leigh

    I will do brother.
