Ex-Christian Katy Perry Promotes Dark Magic And LGBT Agenda At 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Katy Perry is the perfect poster girl for the New World Order because she used to be a Christian, and now mocks the God she once served....
So you wanna play with magic Boy, you should know what you're falling for Baby do you dare to do this? Cause I’m coming at you like a dark horse Are you ready for, ready for A perfect storm, perfect storm Cause once you’re mine, once you’re mine There’s no going back

A great wave of spiritual darkness settling in over America

“When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” Luke 22:53 (KJV)

Must-See Video: Click to hear Katy say in her own words that she sold her soul to the Devil.

In the recent years the Super Bowl, almost always the highest-rated and most-watched television broadcast on the planet, has given over it’s famed Halftime Show to trumpet the cause of the New World Order and the Illuminati. And as referenced in our opening bible verse at the top of the story, the Illuminati knows that it is “their hour”, and they are defiantly out in the open.

So you wanna play with magic
Boy, you should know what you’re falling for
Baby do you dare to do this?
Cause I’m coming at you like a dark horse
Are you ready for, ready for
A perfect storm, perfect storm
Cause once you’re mine, once you’re mine
There’s no going back

Two years ago, you had Beyonce flashing the Illuminati Triangle Sign during Super Bowl XLVII, the year before that you had Madonna as a New Age goddess gyrating on a satanic throne, and last year had Bruno Mars shouted “Illuminati Now!” during his performance. This year, we had ex-Christian Katy Perry providing the “entertainment” for us. Perry, whom you may recall, famously renounced her Christian upbringing and has this to say about what her “faith” is like today:

I don’t believe in a heaven or a hell, or an old man sitting on a throne. I believe in a higher power bigger than me because that keeps me accountable,” she told Marie Claire magazine recently. “Accountability is rare to find, especially with people like myself, because nobody wants to tell you something you don’t want to hear. I’m not Buddhist, I’m not Hindu, I’m not Christian, but I still feel like I have a deep connection with God. I pray all the time – for self-control, for humility,” she told Marie Claire. “There’s a lot of gratitude in it. Just saying ‘thank you’ sometimes is better than asking for things.” source – Christian Post

So, let’s see how former Christian Katy Perry did compared to previous years:

  • Katy Perry opened riding a golden monster with glowing-red satanic eyes. singing the lyrics to her hit “Dark Horse”, partially quoted in the photo above. Read those words closely, it’s the Devil speaking, and he is coming for you if he can.
  • She performed her LGBT fan favorite “I Kissed A Girl”, leading as many young women as will follow her into experimentation with the LGBT perverted lifestyle.
  • Perry closed with another pro-LGBT song called “Firework” where she floated over the audience riding a shooting star with the LGBT rainbow as it’s tail.

The New World Order and Illumination agenda is being hammered into our children at a feverish rate, using catchy lyrics and a non-stop droning drumbeat with overwhelming power chords.

Parents, protect your children if you love them. All of this junk, every bit of it, is poisoning their minds and turning them away from God. Katy Perry is the perfect poster girl for the New World Order because she used to be a Christian, and now mocks the God she once served.

Just like Lucifer did as he was becoming Satan.

“Former christan”??? I highly doubt it. Head knowledge, but never entered her heart!!!

    • Heff

Suez I totally agree with you. My bible makes it very clear that once a Christian always a christian. “And I give into them
Life and they shall never perish”. If Katy perry ends up in hell it’s because she made a commitment with her head and not her heart. God never said depart from me I knew you but forgot who you are when you turned away from me. No he said depart from me fore I NEVER knew you.

      • shar

        Thank you!

      • Liz

You’re taking that verse out of context…He was speaking to those who said that they WERE followers (Not former, but current), that they prophesied and did works in his name.

      • glenn

Odd, cause Jews are taught once a Jew always a Jew. So with your logic all Christians are really Jews who are pretending not to be.

      • nett

God never said anything, gods not real…

      • April

Though God will not take your salvation away, you can walk away from Him. The bible talks about your name being taken out the book of life. – 1 Chronicles 28:9 “If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you leave Him, He will cast you off forever”.

      • Suez

Heff, thanks for your comment. I do think she confessed with her lips and not with her heart. However, I think it is possible to fall away from the Lord. It also says: Mar_13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall ENDURE unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat_24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 2Th_2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; The bible speaks of the falling away, How can one fall away from something they never had???
The salvation of Christ and what he did is a free gift, for who so ever will. But, it is up to us how we treat that gift, isn’t it? Just my humble opinion. Work out your own salvation, with fear and trembling…why would it say that???? 🙂

    • Phil

What’s sad is you people actually believe this idiocy coming out of your own mouths. A tiger with red eyes as a prop for a song is NOT satan. You are slightly correct in one small respect. There was an agenda that Katy Perry had. I was hoping no one would see her secret agenda at the Super Bowl….her agenda was to entertain millions of people and she did just that. No one forced you or your family to even turn on your television. That was YOUR choice. Stop judging people, stop spreading hate throughout the world trying to convince people they are going to hell for watching the Super Bowl. God is good and he doesn’t need hateful ignorant mortals like you spreading his word of Love.

      • Matt

Thanks for pointing this out Phil.

      • Collet

Oh thank you Phil for replying to this! People are so warped today with these cult-like groups and beliefs. Katy Perry’s performance was amazing and she is a phenomenal artist!! All you crazy, whack people: Mind your own business, research what you actually ‘think’ you are verbally bashing instead of being brainwashed! Appauling to have even read this piece of uterrly disgusting article. Shame on each and every one of you.

    • Jennie

Whatever. Time to get off your soapbox Miss Judgemuch- which is a very unchristian thing to do. So you must be an ex-christian yourself. My condolences. Oh and thanks for dirty mouth- you sound lovely.

  • I think she is serving god better than this website does. All you do is spread hate and bury your head in your hate filled sand.

There is no gay agenda… people are just gay. There is no “dark magic” here any more than in The Power Rangers. What there is here is a popular artist (who forced her ex-husband to stop making religious jokes in his routine) giving a positive role model. But that role model doesn’t measure up to your “hate everything/pretend its holy” outlook.

Not that I think you have the spine to post this comment, but your bile is exactly why people are mocking religion. Romans2:22

    • Geri Ungurean

I do not have “religion.” I have a Savior whose name is Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and my life. He is filled with Love but He is also Just and Righteous. He made a way for people to be with Him when they die, and to be in fellowship with Him here and now. He cannot abide sin, so he died for the sins of the whole world, that whosoever believes and trusts in Him, would not go to hell, but they would have eternal life with Him and His Father. He who had no sin, became sin, and gave those of us who love Him His own righteouness. When we stand before the Father, He will see us as righteous because of Jesus.

YOU need Jesus, and He is waiting for you.

      • That is a great word ! God bless you and everyone who reads it with an open heart .

        • darwin

Very well said madam. May God bless you for that message you shared. Keep sharing your faith.

      • Michael

You need professional help. It is waiting for you.

      • God bless you Geri, I am glad that the many saved people on this site will have eternal fellowship with our God in heaven. Sounds like Satan is angry from all the blinded slaves of darkness he is sending here to futilely attack!

        • Penwell

Eric, indeed there are many who are blind, but I worry you may be among them. The many “attacks” originating from this post are coming from those who are ignorant on both sides of the fence. God sends us for His glory. We’re not here to stand against one another based upon religion, race, gender, orientation, or anything else that makes us the unique individuals that God created us to be. We are also not here to worship ourselves. By that, I mean attempting to place judgment upon other people as though we are more capable of doing so than God. “For it is appointed unto man once to die, after this the judgment.” He decides at our end whether or not we truly lived a life walking the path of likeness to Christ, and those who attempt to do so in life cannot be.

          • Penwell,

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my
word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life,
and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from
            death unto life.

Ephesians 1:13   In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also
after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit
            of promise,
Ephesians 1:14   Which is the earnest of our inheritance until
the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise
            of his glory.

Your salvation is guaranteed from the moment you believe !
Not at the end of it, the church is not under judgement !

          • He also said you can tell a tree by its fruit. You are right that after we die is judgement, and by every word we will be judged. If I am to be judged by every word I have spoken then I certainly do not measure up to the law and am damned, BUT, because God provided only one way out of my predicament by offering salvation to me based upon Himself who knew no sin dying on my behalf and on the behalf of all who believe and admit that they are sinners without hope apart from this and that there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved. Now, if someone tells me in word or deed that they reject this then God has given us permission and even instruction and warnings to do so to protect not only ourselves but them and others from Satan who acts in the unsaved to take as many to hell as possible. No one is being physically or personally attacked for we wrestle not with flesh and blood but spiritual wickedness in high places blindness is not physical but spiritual as Satan has blinded the minds of them that perish. There is a war going on here on this board and in the halftime show that is spiritual and you need spiritual eyes to see that only Jesus gives because He gives the Spirit of Truth to His children. check for yourself in the book of Acts, John, Ephesians just to start, Satan Hates anyone to read the Bible that still has an open mind not totally hardened by sin and willful rejection of the truth. Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone, not to shut up for fear of offending others. Being offended is a choice. If I was a false christian burning on a stake or a true Muslim chopping off a head, or an atheist government seizing a Christians means of living or freedom then I would be offended. But I am not really sympathetic about offended people who hate free speech and thought on a Christian website where they might actually hear the gospel of Jesus Christ when they are the ones who choose to come here, who forced them?

        • Geri Ungurean

          Amen, my brother Eric 🙂

          • Blair Rowell

Eric, I think, evil likes one to read the Bible and misinterpret it, without any education of what Holy Scripture is, in context of what the original authors intended, or how it is properly applied. Evil likes the Bible to be misused to exclude anyone from seeing God’s call to be transformed in Love. We have a calling we must be responsive. To say God cannot call a person in this way or that based on a questionable interpretation (It’s written here!) can be a sin as well. We are called to preach forgiveness and repentance, not judge.

      • Andrew A

bless you Geri I could not of said it better.

      • Well said Geri!

In a world so confused about truth, many people say, “if you are Christians and you think that you know the truth, then isn’t that arrogant on your part? But it’s not arrogant to believe what the Bible teaches! In fact, it’s the opposite. Arrogance is when we try to tailor truth to our preferences.

    • Jooberdoober

What have you people been smoking?

I wasn’t aware of any of this and doubt most of it because I do know that while she was riding the Tiger she was singing “Roar” not “Dark Horse.”

Are yall serious?? Just an entertainer… good strong voice, she didn’t rip her clothes off and grind on anything. If you are looking for Satan, that’s what you’ll see. You’re delusional

  • catherine

I think what really upsets me are the hate filled comments. Jesus died to save her, too. That does not mean I’d watch or want my family to watch. I’m absolutely amazed at the lack of Godly love and concern for a lost soul.

  • Tommy

Can’t stop laughing. Is this like The Onion? Come on, folks.

Yeah, sure. Katy Perry has been the harbinger of doom this whole time.

  • catherine

I am amazed at the lack of concern and love for a lost soul that I see here. Why not see her as Christmas sees her, needing salvation.

  • zac

Is it possible for a Christian to be an “Ex-Christian”? What does this say about God’s protective Hand?

    • Inasmuch As

Yes, it is possible to deny him, fall away and not recover oneself and be sent to Hell. The doctrines of Antinomianism, Once Saved~Always Saved and others have led many into error and onto the broad road to destruction.

Mt 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

2Ti 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Lu 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

      2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

        Question: “Once saved always saved?”

Answer: Once a person is saved are they always saved? When people come to know Christ as their Savior, they are brought into a relationship with God that guarantees their salvation as eternally secure. Numerous passages of Scripture declare this fact.

        (a) Romans 8:30 declares, “And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.” This verse tells us that from the moment God chooses us, it is as if we are glorified in His presence in heaven. There is nothing that can prevent a believer from one day being glorified because God has already purposed it in heaven. Once a person is justified, his salvation is guaranteed – he is as secure as if he is already glorified in heaven.

        (b) Paul asks two crucial questions in Romans 8:33-34 “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died more than that, who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? No one will, because Christ is our advocate. Who will condemn us? No one will, because Christ, the One who died for us, is the one who condemns. We have both the advocate and judge as our Savior.

        (c) Believers are born again (regenerated) when they believe (John 3:3; Titus 3:5). For a Christian to lose his salvation, he would have to be un-regenerated. The Bible gives no evidence that the new birth can be taken away.

        (d) The Holy Spirit indwells all believers (John 14:17; Romans 8:9) and baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13). For a believer to become unsaved, he would have to be “un-indwelt” and detached from the Body of Christ.

        (e) John 3:15 states that whoever believes in Jesus Christ will “have eternal life.” If you believe in Christ today and have eternal life, but lose it tomorrow, then it was never “eternal” at all. Hence if you lose your salvation, the promises of eternal life in the Bible would be in error.

        (f) For the most conclusive argument, Scripture says it best itself, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39). Remember the same God who saved you is the same God who will keep you. Once we are saved we are always saved. Our salvation is most definitely eternally secure!

Yes, you CAN lose your salvation. You quoted the Apostle Paul several times, but this is what he said:

“I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified” (1 Cor. 9:27).

Also, this is what the Apostle Peter wrote about Paul’s letters concerning the teaching of salvation:

“As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”(2 Pet 3:16)

Did you catch that? Paul’s teachings on salvation are hard to understand, and those who are not properly instructed in the faith get it wrong.

          Paul also wrote:

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”(Phil 2:12)

There is an excellent treatment of this topic on this site:

“Are you saved?” asks the Fundamentalist. One should reply: “As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:18, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13).” – http://www.catholic.com/tracts/assurance-of-salvation

          • Donnie

Before this question is answered, the term “Christian” must be defined. A “Christian” is not a person who has said a prayer, or walked down an aisle, or been raised in a Christian family. While each of these things can be a part of the Christian experience, they are not what “makes” a Christian. A Christian is a person who has, by faith, received and fully trusted in Jesus Christ as the only Savior (John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8-9).

So, with this definition in mind, can a Christian lose salvation? Perhaps the best way to answer this crucially important question is to examine what the Bible says occurs at salvation, and to study what losing salvation would therefore entail. Here are a few examples:

A Christian is a new creation. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). This verse speaks of a person becoming an entirely new creature as a result of being “in Christ.” For a Christian to lose salvation, the new creation would have to be canceled and reversed.

A Christian is redeemed. “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect” (1 Peter 1:18-19). The word “redeemed” refers to a purchase being made, a price being paid. For a Christian to lose salvation, God Himself would have to revoke His purchase that He paid for with the precious blood of Christ.

A Christian is justified. “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). To “justify” means to “declare righteous.” All those who receive Jesus as Savior are “declared righteous” by God. For a Christian to lose salvation, God would have to go back on His Word and “un-declare” what He had previously declared.

A Christian is promised eternal life. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Eternal life is a promise of eternity (forever) in heaven with God. God promises, “Believe and you will have eternal life.” For a Christian to lose salvation, eternal life would have to be taken away. If a Christian is promised to live forever, how then can God break this promise by taking away eternal life?

A Christian is guaranteed glorification. “And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified” (Romans 8:30). As we learned in Romans 5:1, justification is declared at the moment of faith. According to Romans 8:30, glorification is guaranteed for all those whom God justifies. Glorification refers to a Christian receiving a perfect resurrection body in heaven. If a Christian can lose salvation, then Romans 8:30 is in error, because God could not guarantee glorification for all those whom He predestines, calls, and justifies.

Many more illustrations of what occurs at salvation could be shared. Even these few make it abundantly clear that a Christian cannot lose salvation. Most, if not all, of what the Bible says happens to us when we receive Jesus Christ as Savior would be invalidated if salvation could be lost. Salvation cannot be reversed. A Christian cannot be un-newly created. Redemption cannot be undone. Eternal life cannot be lost and still be considered eternal. If a Christian can lose salvation, God would have to go back on His Word and change His mind—two things that Scripture tells us God never does.

The most frequent objections to the belief that a Christian cannot lose salvation are 1) What about those who are Christians and continually live an immoral lifestyle? 2) What about those who are Christians but later reject the faith and deny Christ? The problem with these two objections is the phrase “who are Christians.” The Bible declares that a true Christian will not live a continually immoral lifestyle (1 John 3:6). The Bible declares that anyone who departs the faith is demonstrating that he never truly was a Christian (1 John 2:19). Therefore, neither objection is valid. Christians do not continually live immoral lifestyles, nor do they reject the faith and deny Christ. Such actions are proof that they were never redeemed.

No, a Christian cannot lose salvation. Nothing can separate a Christian from God’s love (Romans 8:38-39). Nothing can remove a Christian from God’s hand (John 10:28-29). God is both willing and able to guarantee and maintain the salvation He has given us. Jude 24-25, “To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.”

          • Ephesians 1:12   That we should be to the praise of his glory,
            who first trusted in Christ.
13   In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of
truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that

So Jesus lied is what you are saying. Jesus said you aree saved by Grace and not by faith so no one can boast.
But people are now saying if you do not do any works you can lose your salvation. The verses you quiote does not say he will lose his salvation. It states he will be disqualified maybe from getting a cronw at the judtment of Jesus when he bestows crowns on the people who have earned them. You are inferring you will lose your salvation but NONE of those verses quoted talk about losing your salvation.
            John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

            John 10:27-30
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”

Katy Perry was once a Christian, but now openly promotes witch craft and satanism. Is she still saved?

          • Joe

I think there is a difference between what Donnie has said and the situation you are referring to with Katy Perry. Let me explain. I think there are some people who truly believe that a true Christian should never sin after they’re ‘saved’. And that if they do sin, then they’re not ‘saved’ anymore. That’s simply not true. Jesus’ sacrifice covers all past, present and future sins. God has said he knows the end from the beginning and that includes all of our mistakes/failures from the beginning to the end. His grace covers us when we fall, even as Christians.

However, God is a God that respects personal choice. He doesn’t force people to worship him. If people end up in Hell it’s because they chose that destination for themselves. A lot of people talk about Hell as being a place of fire, brimstone, etc. I’d rather not focus on that but what the most identifiable feature of Hell will be. You know what that will be? There will be NO GOD. That’s exactly what godless people want and so God will honor their decision and give them that.

With all that said, If Katy Perry (irrespective of what she thought of God growing up) has now told God that she wants no more part of him that’s more than just being prone to sin as a human, as we all do. That’s a CHOICE. That’s her saying to God I don’t want you in my life so leave me alone. Hey, remember Judas – one of the twelve disciples? He made his decision to walk away from God – after being so close to God on Earth – and he was free to make that decision.

I don’t know where Katy Perry stands with God right now. That’s not my call to make. I’m just saying… if she doesn’t want God in her life anymore, she can have that. God will respect that and give her exactly what she wants.

It was a chessboard, not a masonic floor. And she wasn’t singing Dark Horse as she entered. It was Roar. In addition, there was no rainbow on the shooting star. This is dumb.

      Proverbs 29:9

        Oooo burn

    • Faux

I’m sorry, am I to believe now that any representation of a rainbow is a secret signal about the gay community? It’s a shame that you’re willing to just stop enjoying rainbows because you can’t get your mind out of other people’s sex lives.

      • Matthew Lee

Makes sense. I always did get a gay vibe from that whole God and Noah thing.

  • Al

Those are NOT the lyrics she was singing while ridding the golden lion, she sang her song “Roar”. But when you write a fictional piece I guess you don’t have to get the facts right!

    • Geri Ungurean

Tiffany, if you were to die tonight, and God asked you why He should let you into heaven….what would your answer be?

      • James

If there is a god and he is truly as you describe (a hateful, wrath filled, bigot) then he doesn’t deserve worship or admiration. If he is as you described (someone who would condemn people to eternal torture for liking a freaking song) then he should be reviled as the sociopathic lunatic that he is.

        • Andrew A

Well the first question you have to ask your self is why should you live forever?

Can you say you have never in you entire life done no wrong?

Then if you have done wrong. You must ask your self does anything you do change the fact that you did it?

Now after you can answer all three questions honestly. I can then tell you why you can live forever.

          • James

You’re dodging the question. Do you honestly believe that someone who told a friend a lie (such as, no that dress isn’t ugly! It’s lovely!) to spare their feelings, truly deserves to be tortured for all eternity?

Do you think someone who was born into a Muslim home in the middle of Iraq deserves to be burned alive forever?

Do you think that god telling the Israelites to slaughter every single male (including babies) in a variety of villages, but allowing them to rape all the female virgins (including babies and young girls) is perfectly fine?

Do you think god sending a pack of bears to devour children simply for laughing at Elijah being bald was merciful and loving?

Do you think it was ok for Lot to offer up his daughters to be raped by an angry mob?

Do you think it was ok for Jephthah to sacrifice his young daughter to god (with gods blessing)? (see Judges 11).

Do you think it was the act of a loving, merciful, god to destroy Jobs life, including killing all of his family (children included) because of a bet he had with the devil?

Does it really sound just that anyone… ANYONE… no matter how heinous the crime… Would be tortured… burned ALIVE for eternity. Don’t you think they would have learned their lesson after say… 100 years? How about the teenager who’s only sin in life was that he shoplifted a candy-bar? Do they deserve eternal torture? Would you let your child be burned alive for all eternity for something as simple as saying a curse word in anger? Because these are the things you claim to believe. You don’t get to pretend otherwise just because it sounds gruesome. Of course you probably won’t. You’ll claim grace and mercy! In spite of the things I just pointed out to you.

      • Donna

I’m curious, Geri….what would your answer be?

        • Jerry Underwear

      • Matthew Lee

I know you didn’t ask me, but I believe this deserves an honest answer from an atheist.

As a bit of background, I was raised in a Christian home, went to a Christian university, and spent several years of my life preaching in South America. I have since come to the conclusion that I simply believe Christianity to be a false religion. I don’t have any problem with Christians. I simply do not wish to be associated with their doctrine, as it does not seem to be consistent with the factual reality of the physical world around us.

I still live the values instilled in me by my Christian upbringing. I try to be honest, and I help other people whenever I’m able. As far as I am aware, I’ve asked forgiveness of the people I’ve wronged whenever I’ve been able, and I feel the appropriate amounts of guilt when I behave poorly (like cutting someone off in traffic). I drink only occasionally, and rarely to excess. I swear, but only in private and never in front of children. I clean up after my dog when she poops on the sidewalk. I’m raising my kid to be respectful and kind. Basically, I’m the kind of person that, for all intents and purposes, could be mistaken for a “good Christian”. I’m just not Christian.

That said, if I were to die tonight, and God (who I do not believe in) asked me why I should be let into heaven, I would reply that I shouldn’t be. That I feel content and fulfilled with the impact I have had on the world. That I have treated my fellow men with dignity and respect and helped all those that I could in the ways that I thought best. And I’d ask to simply be let go. My continued existence wouldn’t serve any purpose and it would only be self-serving and selfish. And in this hypothetical, the one selfish request I would have would be to ask him to look after my wife and kid and family.

Real atheists (as compared to on-the-fence agnostics or people who are just in denial of their faith) aren’t afraid of death, because they accept it as a reality of life. They live their lives so that they have meaning even after death. They don’t seek reward for the good that they’ve committed, and aren’t overly concerned about punishment or divine retribution for their mistakes. They are concerned with their own lives, their own business, and the happiness of the people around them.

Atheists have become the Christians that Christians aspire to be.

    • Geri Ungurean

You know, I didn’t write this article, but I don’t think that the rage here in these comments is really about the article at all. I think that the anger here is at God. You know you’re lost in your sins, and you’re fighting against God – trying SO hard to believe that all this stuff about Jesus and Salvation is not really true.

Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s ALL TRUE. There are two kinds of people in this world LOST OR SAVED. If you die without Jesus, you will be lost forever in a fiery hell.

So, the Lord Jesus is asking you now…….is it Him or this world and Satan. Because that’s what it comes down to. Chose LIFE. Chose JESUS.

      • Josh Volt

Hail Satan! Muahhahaha *evil laugh* 😈😈😈

        • Geri Ungurean

You laugh now. One day all will see Him and they will declare that He is indeed LORD. But if you reject Him as your Lord and Savior, even though you will declare Him as Lord, you will still be lost and will go to hell.

          • James

The fact that you can so blithely tell people that they are going to be tortured for all eternity shows the type of person you truly are. Does it really seem like justice to you that someone who happened to be born in the wrong part of the world would be cast into a fire pit to be burned alive for all eternity? Does it seem like justice to you that a child who was beat and raped their entire life but who just happened to be born in a Muslim country would be condemned to eternal torture because they’d never even heard of the Bible? How about a person who used their intelligence and came to the conclusion that the Bible was just a collection of fairy tales yet dedicated their lives to helping the poor and needy and never did a single bad thing in their entire lives. Does it seem fair to you that they should be tortured FOREVER. Because that’s what you claim to believe. It’s not just a year or two, it’s FOREVER. Constant, unending torture, FOREVER. Does that truly just and merciful to you? Does that seem loving and forgiving? Does that truly seem like someone you want to worship? If so, then you have something seriously wrong with you.

          • Donna

You ask very intelligent questions, that any thinking, intellectually honest person would ask himself. Many of your thoughts have crossed my mind, and many other believers’ minds too.

And it is very sad to witness Christians speaking (or writing)in a way that only reveals ignorance, pride and hardness of heart.

Keep searching, keep looking, seek to find and you will find. Our ways are not God’s ways and we will never completely understand in this lifetime why God allows evil. I do believe that God can – and does – bring good out of every evil situation.

      • Dawn

Lady you are 1000 kinds of crazy. Only mindless idiots like you would say that it is actually about god and crap. You are so stupid it’s not even funny. People are saying that this article is false and a lie and here you go saying they are talking about god. You are a mindless crazy sheep that needs to get her head out of her ass.

      • max zug

Chose life, chose Jesus? How selfish is that perspective. You miss it. You miss it all of the time. The one thing Jesus tried to teach you…. you let dogma, ceremony, evangelizing, and judgement completely get in the way. I will pray for you, that you may someday, somehow experience Love.

        • Donna

          Totally right.

        • Dr Stardust

See, if more christians thought THIS way, atheists and anti-theists would get along much better with those with faith. Good on ya Max.

    • Geri Ungurean

You have no idea what you are talking about.

    • johnjim

Actually Timothy we have already been taken over. The “illuminati” have been dropping hints for more than 20 years. If your waiting for something more obvious, then you already missed it. Only the Bible can open your eyes. Give it a read.

      • James

I have read the Bible multiple times and have yet to come across a scripture mentioning secret organizations or anything about the “Illuminati” except when verses are taken WAY out of context. The only time I ever hear about that is on strange conspiracy theory websites. How many false prophecies have to happen before you’ll finally admit it’s all a load of bull?

        • Dickens Cheung

James you profess to have read through the Bible multiple times and you never got saved? It’s either you’ve been spiritually blinded all throughout your “reading” because of your unbelief, or you’ve just skimmed through it without really considering what is Written Within with an open heart. God Doesn’t Reveal His Truth to anyone who isn’t humble at heart and willing to believe what God Plainly Says In His Word. You can read through it 1000 times and still be as lost as a bat flying backwards. All of the things that you said seem very intelligent and eloquent, but God’s Not Amused at your intelligence, because He’s The One Who Gave you your intelligence.

Everyone will have had an opportunity to hear about The Gospel (even the Muslim children and those indigenous tribal people), and will have had an opportunity to accept or reject The Lord Jesus Christ As Their Personal Saviour. God will Get The Gospel to them in whatever way He Chooses, you don’t have to worry about that! People who try to logically reason their way out of God are desperate fools who worship their own intelligence as god.

Oh, a quote from The Book Of James, to show you that NO ONE IS INNOCENT and that EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE SENTENCED TO THE LAKE OF FIRE for rebelling against God Almighty Who Created them and Gave them life.

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (James 2:10)

If you have ever THOUGHT a malicious thought in your life, or have ever told a “white lie” in your life, you are guilty of all points.

“for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)

Humble yourself before God Almighty before it’s too late! Admit you’re a guilty, rotten hell-deserving sinner (as I also am) and ask The Lord Jesus Christ To Save you. He Will Gladly Wash you clean With His Precious Blood, and put your sins as far as the East is from the West, if you will come to Him as a broken and helpless sinner.

          • James

“James you profess to have read through the Bible multiple times and you never got saved?”

Who said I was never saved? I was a devout Christian for the first 30 years of my life. I did it all. Went to church / Sunday school, accepted Christ into my heart, spoke in tongues, read countless books on apologetics, I even took a class or two on ministry. I was probably more of a Christian than you ever were.

“It’s either you’ve been spiritually blinded all throughout your “reading” because of your unbelief, or you’ve just skimmed through it without really considering what is Written Within with an open heart.”

The thing is, you’ve never read the original scriptures either, because we don’t have access to them! You have access to a pale interpretation that has been retranslated and retranslated and retranslated. If you think you have the original, you’re sorely mistaken.

“All of the things that you said seem very intelligent and eloquent, but God’s Not Amused at your intelligence, because He’s The One Who Gave you your intelligence.”

So by your logic, god gave us intelligence but doesn’t want us to use it to think and reason? What sense does that make? How, in your sheep brain do you not see how ridiculous and backwards that sounds? That’s like saying god gave someone a propensity for being a doctor and coming up with cures for horrible diseases but then demanding that they not use it. “God’s not amused by your intelligence”? How do YOU know? Does god call you on the phone and tell you these things or do you just ASSUME you know the mind of god based on your indoctrination? I can tell you the answer to that question without you having to say a word. There have been countless people before you who claim they know the mind of god and they say the exact opposite of what you say. What makes you think you’re right and they’re not?

“Everyone will have had an opportunity to hear about The Gospel”

This is crap, and if you opened your eyes you’d see that. What about all of those people in tribes in the middle of nowhere who never once heard a single thing about the Bible? What about the child who’s only exposure to “the Gospel” was from a priest that molested them their entire life, all the while saying “Jesus loves you” as they raped them and destroyed their sense of innocence? According to the crap you’re spewing god will toss them into hell to be tortured forever because they didn’t accept that as the truth. You consider that merciful?

“People who try to logically reason their way out of God are desperate fools who worship their own intelligence as god.”

This sounds like a desperate attempt by someone who has experienced a lifetime of indoctrination and brainwashing trying to justify their beliefs that have no logic. What’s the best way to keep people from questioning the status-quo? Teach them from a young age not to use their brains and sense of reason. If they have a natural sense of curiosity, beat it out of them. Teach them that if they are smart and ask questions they will be burned alive forever and ever. That’s fear based brainwashing, nothing more.

“Oh, a quote from The Book Of James, to show you that NO ONE IS INNOCENT and that EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE SENTENCED TO THE LAKE OF FIRE for rebelling against God Almighty Who Created them and Gave them life.”

So basically you’re saying that someone guilty of nothing more than stealing a loaf of bread to feed their starving family is worthy of being burned alive forever? They deserve endless torture? What kind of loving god is that?

“If you have ever THOUGHT a malicious thought in your life, or have ever told a “white lie” in your life, you are guilty of all points.”

So you’re even worse! They don’t even have to do it! They just have to have a stray thought in a weak moment and you’re saying they deserve to experience the worst torture imaginable for all eternity. How do you not see that that is sick beyond any degree of sick that we have here on earth?

“Humble yourself before God Almighty before it’s too late! ”

Basically you’re saying the equivalent of “Give the robber your money or he will kill your entire family in front of you!” What kind of “free-will” choice is that?

“Admit you’re a guilty, rotten hell-deserving sinner (as I also am) and ask The Lord Jesus Christ To Save you.”

I’m not a rotten hell-deserving sinner. Nothing I’ve done in my entire life deserve eternal torture. Not a single thing. Not even the worst sinner on earth deserves to be burned alive forever and ever. 100 years for people like Hitler? Maybe. Eternity? No way. Do you even understand the concept of an “eternity of being burned alive”? Does your brainwashed little mind even comprehend what that means? How in the world can you say a loving merciful god would call that just?

If the choice is “Love me or burn forever” that automatically destroys any chance that I’ll love the person offering that choice. That’s not love, that is fear. That’s like stockholm syndrome, where you’ve been under the thumb of the person who has kept you imprisoned against your will your entire life. How can you see that’s not real love?

I’ll ask you one last question. If your child, or any person who you love the most, didn’t do what you want, would you condemn them to the worst torture imaginable for the rest of time? I honestly can’t see even the worst human imaginable doing that. Yet that’s what you claim god does. You honestly think that’s deserving of worship?

          • James

Please explain to me how I “misinterpreted” these moments from the Bible:

            1. The story of Job:

“There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.”

So according to the Bible, we have a man who did nothing wrong in his entire life. He feared God and shunned what was evil.

“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. The Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.” And the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?” Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason? Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face.” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.” (Job 1:6-12)

So in other words, god told Satan as long as he didn’t touch Job himself he could go out and kill Job’s entire family and destroy everything he had, all to prove a point. Wow… Sounds like the actions of a “loving” father to me. I wonder if I would still manage to love my mother if she went out and shot everyone I loved, including my children, then proceeded to burn down my house, all based on a bet she had with a co-worker. Does that sound like the actions of a loving parent to you? It sure has hell doesn’t to me. Here’s a few snippets of what Job, a man who never did a single thing wrong, experienced with full blessings from god.

“Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, and there came a messenger to Job and said, “The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, and the Sabeans fell upon them and took them and struck down the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, “The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, “The Chaldeans formed three groups and made a raid on the camels and took them and struck down the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” While he was yet speaking, there came another and said, “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house, and behold, a great wind came across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead, and I alone have escaped to tell you.” (Job 1:13-19)

In this scene we see Satan running rampant on Job. He destroyed his livestock, killed his servants, then finally killed his children. All with god’s permission. Remember this verse? “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” That’s god talking! In other words he’s saying “You can do whatever you want to him, as long as you don’t touch his physical body.”

Even after all that we see “Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.” So god allowed Satan to completely destroy everything in Job’s life, and still he didn’t do anything wrong. So god says “sure keep screwing with him a little more! I’ll even let you mess with his body! I bet you a hundred dollars he’ll still love me!”

“So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.” (Job 2:7)

Sure, in the end he gave it all back to him. But it’s not like monopoly money. This is someone’s LIFE. His FAMILY. According to YOUR BIBLE god allowed Job to be tortured for who KNOWS how long, all on a BET. That’s loving to you?

            2) Abraham Commanded to Sacrifice Isaac:

“Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”
            “Here I am,” he replied.
Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” (Genesis 22:1-2)
Here god is telling Abraham to take his CHILD and SACRIFICE HIM! Sure god stopped him at the last moment, but he told him to KILL HIS CHILD! What kind of a loving father would test his child in that fashion? That’s not something a loving parent would do, that’s only something a sick, perverted, sociopath would do! It’s disgusting! Yet you worship this? Yeah! God told him to stop. But what about Jephthah?
            Jephthah Sacrifices his Virgin Daughter:

“And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord: “If you give the Ammonites into my hands, whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”
Then Jephthah went over to fight the Ammonites, and the Lord gave them into his hands. He devastated twenty towns from Aroer to the vicinity of Minnith, as far as Abel Keramim. Thus Israel subdued Ammon.
When Jephthah returned to his home in Mizpah, who should come out to meet him but his daughter, dancing to the sound of timbrels! She was an only child. Except for her he had neither son nor daughter. When he saw her, he tore his clothes and cried, “Oh no, my daughter! You have brought me down and I am devastated. I have made a vow to the Lord that I cannot break.”
“My father,” she replied, “you have given your word to the Lord. Do to me just as you promised, now that the Lord has avenged you of your enemies, the Ammonites. But grant me this one request,” she said. “Give me two months to roam the hills and weep with my friends, because I will never marry.”
“You may go,” he said. And he let her go for two months. She and her friends went into the hills and wept because she would never marry. 39 After the two months, she returned to her father, and he did to her as he had vowed. And she was a virgin.” (Judges 11:30-39)

Jephthah sacrificed his daughter… AS A BURNT OFFERING. He killed his DAUGHTER and sacrificed her! All this time god could have said “no Jephthah, don’t do that, I’m merciful, I love you.” But no! God accepted his “payment”. He allowed a man to kill his child, and you worship this?

The Anonymous Israelite offers his Concubine up for a gang rape:
“While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, “Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him.”
The owner of the house went outside and said to them, “No, my friends, don’t be so vile. Since this man is my guest, don’t do this outrageous thing. Look, here is my virgin daughter, and his concubine. I will bring them out to you now, and you can use them and do to them whatever you wish. But as for this man, don’t do such an outrageous thing.”

But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go. At daybreak the woman went back to the house where her master was staying, fell down at the door and lay there until daylight.
When her master got up in the morning and opened the door of the house and stepped out to continue on his way, there lay his concubine, fallen in the doorway of the house, with her hands on the threshold. He said to her, “Get up; let’s go.” But there was no answer. Then the man put her on his donkey and set out for home.
When he reached home, he took a knife and cut up his concubine, limb by limb, into twelve parts and sent them into all the areas of Israel.”

So here we have a story similar to the Sodom and Gomorrah one. We have an angel visiting a man, then a mob comes to rape him. Unlike the Sodom and Gomorrah story however, the man offers a woman and then mob accepts. They spend the whole night taking turns raping her TO DEATH. Sure the ANGEL OF GOD could have stepped in any time, as the angels depicted in Exodus did, to stop the mob, but nah! He’d rather sit inside and listen to the woman being raped by a mob until she died. Then to top it all off, the owner of the concubine cuts her body up and mails it to all his friends! Not once did god come down and say “hey, let’s stop this…” Not once does it mention god condemning the actions of the man offering his concubine or the mob. His angel doesn’t even try and intervene to save the woman. Sounds like a merciful parent to me!

Onan struck dead for pulling out:

“Now Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the sight of the LORD, so the LORD took his life. Then Judah said to Onan, ” Go in to your brother’s wife, and perform your duty as a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother.” Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brother’s wife, he wasted his seed on the ground in order not to give offspring to his brother. But what he did was displeasing in the sight of the LORD; so He took his life also.”
God struck a man dead for not ejaculating inside his dead brother’s wife… Wow… That sure sounds merciful…

Moses (at the command of “The Lord”) orders his men to kill all the Medionite men, woman, and boys:

““Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the Lord in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.” (Numbers 31: 15-18)

So… Here we have god telling Moses to kill all the Medionites, including the children… Buuuut they get to keep all the virgins (including the young girls) “for themselves.” What exactly do you think they’re going to do with those virgins?

The Israelites commit genocide with god’s blessing:

“ So the Lord our God also gave into our hands Og king of Bashan and all his army. We struck them down, leaving no survivors. At that time we took all his cities. There was not one of the sixty cities that we did not take from them—the whole region of Argob, Og’s kingdom in Bashan. All these cities were fortified with high walls and with gates and bars, and there were also a great many unwalled villages. We completely destroyed them, as we had done with Sihon king of Heshbon, destroying every city—men, women and children. But all the livestock and the plunder from their cities we carried off for ourselves.” (Deuteronomy 3:3-7)

Notice the parts where it says “the lord god gave into our hands…” and “we completely destroyed them… every city-men, women, and CHILDREN.” That sounds like the very definition of merciful! I won’t list every time this happened in the Old Testament, because it happened quite a bit. Sometimes they get to keep the virgins to rape and for forced marriages though.
            God promotes slavery:
However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
God promotes a man to sell HIS DAUGHTER into SEX SLAVERY:
When a man SELLS HIS DAUGHTER INTO SLAVERY, she WILL NOT be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11)
You can claim that changed in the New Testament, but let’s look at some verses in the New Testament:
“Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5)”

“ Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2)
            Then there’s Philemon:
“Therefore, although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do, yet I prefer to appeal to you on the basis of love. It is as none other than Paul—an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—that I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains. Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.
I am sending him—who is my very heart—back to you. I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel. But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do would not seem forced but would be voluntary. Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back forever— no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother. He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord.”

In case you didn’t get it. Here we have Paul coming across an escaped slave (Onesimus) who he becomes “friends” with. Rather than allow him to remain free, HE RETURNS HIM TO HIS MASTER (Philemon)! Yeah, Paul asks him to be nice and treat him like a brother, but he has no guarantee that this will happen. He sends Onesimus back into the bonds of slavery anyway! That sounds like real mercy there, doesn’t it?

You claim I don’t understand what I’m reading. I don’t understand the meaning of the scriptures because I don’t “have god.” So please explain to me how I’m misinterpreting these things. Please explain to me how any of these stories represent the actions of a loving, merciful, forgiving, grace-filled, god. You claim I’m misinterpreting, so explain it all to me. Convince me these atrocities aren’t the actions of someone deeply disturbed.

Some cliche answers I will NOT accept:

“God’s ways are not our ways.” or any variations, including “God works in mysterious ways.”

“It’s not our place to question god.”

            “Those are just stories.”

I want you to tell me why the people (including babies) that were slaughtered, the virgins that were raped and forced into marriage to the people that just killed their family and friends, and the many daughters sold into sex slavery by their fathers, didn’t deserve god’s mercy. Explain to me how there are good, loving, merciful reasons that these things HAD to happen, HAD to be immortalized into “god’s holy word”. If you can’t, then I will expect nothing less than you admitting you’re full of crap.

@Timothy “The whole obsession with a secret organization and a new world order has been around long enough and, lo and behold, we’ve yet to be seized and taken over.”

2 Peter 2-4 that you should remember the words spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken by your apostles.
3 know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, FOLLOWING AFTER THEIR OWN LUST,
4 and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, ALL CONTINUES JUST AS IT WAS FROM THE BEGINNING OF CREATION.

Yes, they have been around forever, they have been planning for a long time. The seize is

    • It really is all about God. He holds all atoms together and created them by His Word. Jesus is also The Word of God. He is the one who formed you in the womb and allowed you to be born and gave you a mind to think and choose to believe the truth or the lie and the evidence of the preserved scripture and testimony of Israel, Moses, the law, prophets, prophecy, history, archaeology, The Savior and his disciples and eyewitnesses to His glory and the testimony of people who know him and have His Spirit inside of them through being born again and testifying to you here where He took you either to mock or believe and be saved. if you die in the sins that separate man from God since Adam and Eve fell in the Garden of Eden, it is because YOU chose to reject Him, His will is that all men repent and be saved, yet many will choose to sin unto death and end up in the lake of fire prepared for the Devil and his angels, sadly because they hate the light and love darkness. So, yeAh, it really is all about God. he died on the cross as the ONLY means to salvation, his shed blood is the ONLY remission for your sins but you must believe and admit you are a lost sinner or that won’t help you.

No, he’s not ignorant. He is saved by Jesus. You may be one of those who will never come to Christ. I pray that I’m wrong. YOU CAN NEVER SAY NOW THAT YOU DIDN’T HERE THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

People there is good and evil in everyone of us and in everything it’s our choice to make it good or evil but for anyone to pass judgement and condem another is wrong in it’s self and anyone who does so will also be judge as they have judged pray for them is the way.
What we should be focusing on is what our childern are learning in our school systems that unless you are rich and can afford private or home schooling are forced to send our kids to and face jail time for not sending them. Folks our public schools have become the devils dwelling place where God is not allowed unless he is asked by one and satin is growing his army in numbers with our childern as his soldiers our childern is who we must fight in the final battle of good agianst evil and satins army is growing bigger and stronger everyday I am only one voice but my voice is saying wake up folks we as christians are loosing gods precious childern to satin he is way a head in numbers for he has had free rain for way to long we have to do something to change this

      John 3:16King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You can come along for the ride if you want.

      • Matthew Lee

I have no desire to have everlasting life. I’m very fulfilled and happy with the life that I’ve lived. I feel that I’ve had a positive impact on the people around me, that my debts have all been settled, and that the world is just ever-so-slightly better because of my existence. My only regret in death would be the sadness of those close to me who were left behind, and that I didn’t have time to do more. But I don’t want to live forever. Living forever would rob life itself of all the things that make it precious.

People who feel a “need” to live forever or be rewarded for their good deeds clearly have some sort of deficiency. Either they have lived a meaningless life or they are exceptionally selfish.

        • standfortruth

You will live forever…in the Lake of Fire…if you do not believe on Jesus. “It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgement.”

Christians are never anywhere in the bible commanded to kill women and children. In fact Christians are told to endure the hatred of the world for Jesus namesake. For Jesus is not of the world and due to this People of the world shall hate you. No where in the bible is God commanding Christians to kill anyone. ((before you cite the old Testmont again that is the laws of the Tribes of Jacob, Israel and Christan’s do not have follow them.))

As for even back then God states his Greatest Commandment is:
Love God with all your heart, and all your soul and to also love your neighbor as yourself.

Jesus even tells his disciples again to love everyone and treat them as they wish to be treated for in this they will know you come from me.

Since I want no one to kill me I wish to kill no one and I do this out of complete love of God and in accordance to the Greatest Commandment of God.

So how is it you wish to be Treated? Also are you willing to give the same to Everyone on earth?

      • James

So you are contradicting Jesus when he says that we should keep all the law? That not one jot or tittle of the law will disappear? That he came to fulfill the law, not to get rid of it? Are you saying that the Old Testament is pointless, and that Christians shouldn’t even bother reading it? If we don’t have to follow it, why is it there?

    • James

LOL! It’s “Mares eat oats, and goats eat oats, and little lambs eat ivy. A kid’ll eat ivy too, wouldn’t you?” Sorry, I get your point, but your post just made me chuckle.

  • I am one of those loony Christians that turned off the tv during halftime because I knew that Satan would be glorified during halftime. I can see tht to someone who is blinded how crazy I must sound because I was blind at one time until reading the Bible the Holy Spirit opened up scripture to me and I was born again. God had mercy and gave me love and forgiveness of sin and salvation, eternal life with Him in His Kingdom. God bless all of my brothers and sisters who comment on this site, we will have forever to fellowship and get to know each other and be with our Lord. I hope anyone who is coming here to mock will realize that every breath you take is a gift from my God who created you and wishes you to be delivered from sin by believing the gospel of salvation and that all that Satan has to offer is not worth your soul in eternal hell. Satan was allowed to tempt Jesus with every thing that the world had to offer and Jesus overcame because He is God and without sin and did the will of the Father always and walked by the Holy Spirit. But unless you accept Jesus as your savior, you are a slave to sin and by nature at enmity with God who is Holy and without sin. You are under sins power and love sin and are its slave. That is why you are led to this website to mock the one true Holy God whom you hate. God loves you enough to forgive and save you though if you ask with all your heart and truly wish to know the truth. if you do not want this it is because you love sin and darkness and hate the light. God is light and in Him is no darkness. Jesus is Gods revealed light and if you reject Jesus and His Words, you have no hope but a future in outer darkness and gnashing of teeth.

Is this a satirical site? It has to be. No one on planet Earth could be this paranoid and delusional. This takes normal religiosity-type crazy and cranks it up to 11.

    • hmm

      Paranoid and delusional?
How so? She is clearly doing things that are against God.
It’s not about “religion”, it’s about the truth.

In fact, she shouldn’t be singing about possessing a boy.
To say once your mine, there’s no going back, that is possession -whether just lustful, or through demon possession.
Claiming someone as a possession is against God.
Should anyone be possessing anyone else?
And singing about playing with magic is talking about more than just lustful possession.

For her to say she has a deep connection with God, prays all the time for humility and self control, but acts like this? Her words and actions are opposite of each other, that is delusional. And it’s delusional for you to not even be able to see that.

And for Christians to be up in arms about it seems crazy to you?
Well, when it comes to salvation, I would expect real believers to be up in arms about these kind of things.
These are the kind of things that influence young minds away from the truth of God and instead to Satan and hell.
Do you think no one would be influenced to think they can have a deep connection with God like Katy Perry says she does, and can go act like she does??
If no one ever points out these problems that seem normal to people who grow up in a culture and lifestyle without God, then more people will not even think about it, and will think it’s okay! But it’s really not!

      • Catlin

        slave (noun) historical
1.a person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them.

“However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.” (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

If you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for only six years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom. If he was single when he became your slave and then married afterward, only he will go free in the seventh year. But if he was married before he became a slave, then his wife will be freed with him. If his master gave him a wife while he was a slave, and they had sons or daughters, then the man will be free in the seventh year, but his wife and children will still belong to his master. But the slave may plainly declare, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children. I would rather not go free.’ If he does this, his master must present him before God. Then his master must take him to the door and publicly pierce his ear with an awl. After that, the slave will belong to his master forever. (Exodus 21:2-6 NLT)

So… possessing another person is against God… but he gave rules for owning other people. Riiiiiiiight.

        • Andrew A

God also commanded for slaves to be set free on the year of Jubilee.
God though Paul also said for slaves to obey their masters and not move against them for God allowed the master to have that place over you. Same for the rulers of the earth.

You see this is the time of the Gentiles still and god has not yet taken rightful command over the earth until that time the nations of the world are ruled by their own desires and the nations make their own laws. Only when the Beginning and the End, and Lord of Lords returns to the earth to take rightful control over the earth will God be in charge over the nations of man. For now Paul told by God tells us to wait and allow time to run ts course and endure the sinful rule of man.

If you wish God’s Judgment vs God’s forgiveness he will give you that judgment and tells everyone what his measuring stick is.

          • Catlin

I believe you’re talking about the latter half of Leviticus 25, which apply to only Hebrew slaves. As stated above, owning non-Hebrews until their death, passing them on to your children, was perfectly acceptable. Thus, god condones the possession as property another person.

It really doesn’t matter what time of history it was. If you can look back on all of human history and say it’s morally wrong to own slaves then certainly your god could have gone ahead and made that law back then rather than saying “Well, I mean… it’s the custom. They’ll figure it out eventually.” If the Bible is supposed to be god’s perfect word, then he should have written something that could have applied throughout the ages rather than something that applied to the peoples of a very specific region and point in history.

        • yeah

Maybe you should read and actually UNDERSTAND what the purposes of these things were, not just copy and paste texts.

That is very different than holding a lover as a possession…or through demonic possession.

Also, what God sees as acceptable is up to God, it’s not for us to object, he created us, not us.
This life is short, it’s your choice if you want to sit around whining about what you don’t agree with, or accept the truth and be obedient to your creator. If you want to risk Hell, that is your choice, God won’t force you to accept salvation if you want to keep fighting against him.

          • Dr Stardust

So, owning people and mutilating genitals is A-OKAY, but eating shellfish and working when it’s suitable to your schedule is damned. Gotcha. Say, I could use a housekeeper. Why don’t you come and work for me. I won’t give you anything except a sleeping bag and some water, but I’m sure you can look past that. Oh, and you can never leave. Your daughters will also become part of my money. I’ll trade them for goods and services, cos god wanted that to happen too.

          • Catlin

I read the bible, I’ve studied the old testament laws, I do understand. What I understand is that the laws were written for bronze age men of a specific region of our very large earth taking into account the customs of the time. That sounds a lot like man-made laws. If god is all-knowing and perfect, one would think he could give a set of laws that would be relevant throughout the ages.

I do not sit around whining about what I do not agree with. I seek to point out the flaws and maybe get people thinking, albeit with sarcastic undertones.

One thing all artists are guilty of is metaphor. I grew up with the rhetoric of “I am my husband’s and he is mine.” Sounds like possession of another person to me. For someone to say “once you’re mine, there’s no going back” isn’t too far from the concept of once you enter into a relationship of any kind with another person, you are forever changed and will never be the same from that point on. There’s no returning to who you were before you met that person because of the experiences, good or bad, that you had with them.

And hey, could you please cite a story of someone of a non-abrahamic religion being possessed by a demon? I find the subject fascinating and I would love to read about it, because I’ve never come across a case of non-christian, especially catholic, demonic possession. The bible does not count as a source. I would like a modern story. Last 100 yrs would be fine.

    • Dr Stardust

Considering the number of brilliant minds who must surely be in your version of hell, I’m sure we’ll be alright. Air conditioned and having spectacular discussions about stars and plant life. Contemplating the nature of the eternal magic flames, sipping some lemonade. I’d rather have that than no free will.

Either that, or it’s all a fairy tale meant to keep children in line with old societal norms (like Krampus, but older), and there’s nothing to fear because life is awesome, it’s death that scares you.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”

What made you believe that there is no God? Just wondered.

          • Dr Stardust

I was never given a reason to believe in one in the first place. In recorded human history, there have been over 4000 gods, many of which were worshiped far longer than the current popular one. Like Krampus and the Tooth Fairy, I see deities as a threat for children (or societies) to behave the way you want. A way to control. In a sense, to remove will. It’s social engineering.

      • Andrew A

Pretty sure death does not inspire the fear you think it does in Gerri. As a fellow believer in Jesus I know were both of us are going to be and if you read more on the site she actually told us were she knows she is going to be as well.

As for contemplation on the universe their will be none were you speak of. As all will acknowledge the Lord and understand the full Mystery of God. After that everyone who believes in him will be with him in the Ages of Ages. Any who don’t will go to fire were their will be great whaling and gnashing of teeth. The fire is not meant for men but reserved for everyone who does not wish to be with God. You see God wishes you to have free will as well. So he gave you the choice to Love him or not. He showed us his love by sending Jesus to die for all mankind. All we have to do is acknowledge the act for God to welcome us. So the choice is yours.

        • Dr Stardust

Show me proof. Physical, tangible, testable, measurable proof that this deity of yours exists, and I’ll believe you. I will give up my ability to think for myself and do nothing but sing his praises.

          • Andrew A

God wants you think for yourself and do I.
However I will give you what you want I am going to Quote a article by Rich Deem as I like his explanation in this mater:

            Evidence for design?

The best evidence for design can be seen in the nature of the universe and how it came to be. The process of discovery continues, since one of the fundamental properties of the universe, dark energy (or the cosmological constant), was discovered late in the last century. New studies continue to add to our knowledge about the universe and its extremely unlikely makeup.
            The Big Bang

The Big Bang theory states that the universe arose from a singularity of virtually no size, which gave rise to the dimensions of space and time, in addition to all matter and energy. At the beginning of the Big Bang, the four fundamental forces began to separate from each other. Early in its history (10-36 to 10-32 seconds), the universe underwent a period of short, but dramatic, hyper-inflationary expansion. The cause of this inflation is unknown, but was required for life to be possible in the universe.
            Excess quarks

Quarks and antiquarks combined to annihilate each other. Originally, it was expected that the ratio of quarks and antiquarks to be exactly equal to one, since neither would be expected to have been produced in preference to the other. If the ratio were exactly equal to one, the universe would have consisted solely of energy – not very conducive to the existence of life. However, recent research showed that the chargeparity violation could have resulted naturally given the three known masses of quark families.1 However, this just pushes fine tuning a level down to ask why quarks display the masses they have. Those masses must be fine tuned in order to achieve a universe that contains any matter at all.

            Large, just right-sized universe
Even so, the universe is enormous compared to the size of our Solar System. Isn’t the immense size of the universe evidence that humans are really insignificant, contradicting the idea that a God concerned with humanity created the universe? It turns out that the universe could not have been much smaller than it is in order for nuclear fusion to have occurred during the first 3 minutes after the Big Bang. Without this brief period of nucleosynthesis, the early universe would have consisted entirely of hydrogen.2 Likewise, the universe could not have been much larger than it is, or life would not have been possible. If the universe were just one part in 1059 larger,3 the universe would have collapsed before life was possible. Since there are only 1080 baryons in the universe, this means that an addition of just 1021 baryons (about the mass of a grain of sand) would have made life impossible. The universe is exactly the size it must be for life to exist at all.

If you wish to truly explore the possibility this article has more. http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/is_god_real.html and many other articles at the website cover it nicely. I don’t personally agree with everything he says however his explanations on God and the Universe are a good start if you really wish to look at this from an honest perspective of understanding more about the Universe and why and how it was made.

          • Andrew A

I figured for record of anyone else who is interested I would continue quoting the text to the formula of probability. Which is the maximum number of probability allowed int he universe for Random design vs intelligent design and what the odds if the universe forming correct randomly was.

Cosmologists assume that the universe could have evolved in any of a number of ways, and that the process is entirely random. Based upon this assumption, nearly all possible universes would consist solely of thermal radiation (no matter). Of the tiny subset of universes that would contain matter, a small subset would be similar to ours. A very small subset of those would have originated through inflationary conditions. Therefore, universes that are conducive to life “are almost always created by fluctuations into the[se] ‘miraculous’ states,” according to atheist cosmologist Dr. L. Dyson.4
            Just right laws of physics

The laws of physics must have values very close to those observed or the universe does not work “well enough” to support life. What happens when we vary the constants? The strong nuclear force (which holds atoms together) has a value such that when the two hydrogen atoms fuse, 0.7% of the mass is converted into energy. If the value were 0.6% then a proton could not bond to a neutron, and the universe would consist only of hydrogen. If the value were 0.8%, then fusion would happen so readily that no hydrogen would have survived from the Big Bang. Other constants must be fine-tuned to an even more stringent degree. The cosmic microwave background varies by one part in 100,000. If this factor were slightly smaller, the universe would exist only as a collection of diffuse gas, since no stars or galaxies could ever form. If this factor were slightly larger, the universe would consist solely of large black holes. Likewise, the ratio of electrons to protons cannot vary by more than 1 part in 1037 or else electromagnetic interactions would prevent chemical reactions. In addition, if the ratio of the electromagnetic force constant to the gravitational constant were greater by more than 1 part in 1040, then electromagnetism would dominate gravity, preventing the formation of stars and galaxies. If the expansion rate of universe were 1 part in 1055 less than what it is, then the universe would have already collapsed. The most recently discovered physical law, the cosmological constant or dark energy, is the closest to zero of all the physical constants. In fact, a change of only 1 part in 10120 would completely negate the effect. The physical constants required to produce carbon and oxygen in stars is also narrowly fine tuned. A value for Hoyle state 2% higher than the measured value would prevent the formation of carbon.5 A value 2% lower than the measured value would produce lots of carbon, but no oxygen.5 Both are essential atoms for life.
            Universal probability bounds

“Unlikely things happen all the time.” This is the mantra of the anti-design movement. However, there is an absolute physical limit for improbable events to happen in our universe. The universe contains only 1080 baryons and has only been around for 13.8 billion years (1018 sec). Since the smallest unit of time is Planck time (10-45 sec),6 the lowest probability event that can ever happen in the history of the universe is:

            1/1080 x 1/1018 x 1/1045 =1/10143

So, although it would be possible that one or two constants might require unusual fine-tuning by chance, it would be virtually impossible that all of them would require such fine-tuning. Some physicists have indicated that any of a number of different physical laws would be compatible with our present universe. However, it is not just the current state of the universe that must be compatible with the physical laws. Even more stringent are the initial conditions of the universe, since even minor deviations would have completely disrupted the process. For example, adding a grain of sand to the weight of the universe now would have no effect. However, adding even this small amount of weight at the beginning of the universe would have resulted in its collapse early in its history.

God wants you to use your mind. He also wants you to have your will, but He wants you to conform it to His will, meaning, that you would voluntarily “do unto others as you would have done unto you”. If we voluntarily loved and respected others as God asks, we would have a better world.

The other thing is that you are severely limiting yourself when you insist on “physical, tangible, testable, measurable proof”. The fact is, that since the beginning of mankind, most things remain unseen. One example is “the new world”. For Asians and Europeans, the existence of millions of lives across the ocean was unimaginable.

For men like Columbus, Newton, Einstein, and others, they did not need “proof” to seek the unseen. They had visions, they had hopes, they suspected truth and pursued it. Where would we be today had they needed “tangible, measurable proof” for things like gravity, calculus, and another world across the ocean?

            Keep seeking!

Which version of the bible? There are currently 104 different versions in English ALONE. Which one do we decide is the right version? Some are vastly different, but all translated from the same source material (which is in fact a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy etc). Should we even trust translation, and instead just learn greek, roman, and hebrew languages and read the varied texts without translation?

      • KJV  John 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Romans 10:11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth
on him shall not be ashamed.

Put your trust in Jesus !

Which King James Version? International King James? Revised King James? New King James? New International King James? Third Millennium King James? American King James? Divine Name King James? King James 2000? King James II? Textus Receptus? Modern King James? Updated with Apocrypha? Webster’s King James Revision?

Seriously, which one? There’s so many more than just these, but these are the only King James versions I have. Which one is the right one?

          • Seriously ? Ask Jesus !

          • Dr Stardust

Mike – Which version of Jesus?

          • Catlin

But Jesus is so busy determining the outcome of sporting events, helping christians find good parking spaces, and locating lost car keys. Should we really be bothering him about something as silly as which version of the supposed perfect word of god is the right one?

      • Andrew A

Actually every bible is translated generally from one of two ancient Greek manuscripts holding all the New testmont books. However Just The New testmont works are cited in letters between pastors of the early church (60 to 100 ad)that reconstruct most of the 4 Gospels of Jesus sojourn (Mathew, Mark, Luke and John) entirely from personal letters. Literally thousands of old bible individual manuscripts (such as Romans, Jude, 1 Peter, etc) dating back to the 1st and 2nd century AD.

We have more copies of the bible around the time of its actual writing then all other ancient written works combined. Just a fun fact their for you.

As for language to learn if you want to read the original most new testimont is written in Ancient Greek as that was the Universal Scribe language for the area of the world at the time.

As to the first question NTEB I believe suggest the Original King James version as the best to read.

        • Dr Stardust

You’re close. Here’s a brief history of when and how the first King James version came about:

And research done on dating these manuscripts:

And this one is just fun:

        • Amen and thank you Andrew !

          • Andrew A

I deserve no thanks really. I simply was trying to answer the question in as a complete fashion as I could. You were doing fine and needed no help from me. Since everything you said was correct it is just sometimes people are to busy looking for a complicated long answer to understand that the simple answer is correct.

        • Matthew Lee

The gospels weren’t even written until the second half of the first century AD. The oldest fragment of the gospels in existence today is Papyrus 52, which contains a portion of the book of John and is dated to 125 AD. The closest in date to that are from hundreds of years later, in the late second and third centuries AD. The oldest full Bible is known as the Codex Sinaiticus and dates to the sixth century.

Granted, there are about 6,000 ancient texts that contain part of the Bible, but they range from one hundred to almost one thousand years after the fact. I’m not sure where your “literally thousands” from the 1st and 2nd century comes from, but the realty is that it’s a stretch to even say “literally dozens” from that time period. Most ancient copies of the Bible are significantly later, which makes it less of a “fun fact” and more of a “lie Christians tell to legitimize their holy book”.

You must be able to DISCERN. Yes, we as christians pray for Katy Perry, but no under any sircumstances do we attack fellow Christians. If we are able to discern and we can clearly see others are not able to discern, we pray for them and if they truly want to know the truth God will reveal it.

News photo reminds me of Babylon riding the beast in Rev 17…
except this beast looks more like one of Putin’s tigers.

That’s why the 144,000 first fruits are called, “virgins”…
because they have resisted the siren song of the Babylonian harlot.

  • Dear Eric #35,

Out of all of the comment here, your excellent comment shares the truth. I wouldn’t call you “loony” though. That is a term often used by those who reject what born-again Christians (who read, study, and apply God’s Word in their lives) share in their writings.

The gobbledy-gook that Katy Perry spews in that quote reminds me of exactly why our Christian spiritual armor first starts with the belt of truth. If you don’t have the objective truth that is discovered in Scripture to begin with, then what a person shares is merely their own perception, perspective or opinion. What Perry tried to do in that quote was to “create” her own truth by speaking her own truth into the situation.

In a world so confused about truth, many people say, “if you are Christians and you think that you know the truth, then isn’t that arrogant on your part? But it’s not arrogant to believe what the Bible teaches! In fact, it’s the opposite. Arrogance is when we try to tailor truth to our preferences.

The Word of God is true. And satan is busy trying to deceive. He continually tries to throw things at us that aren’t true.

When you know Jesus and God’s Word, you can discern truth from error!

    • Thanks my sister in Jesus! I don’t see myself as a loon but the Bible says that to them that perish it is foolishness because it is spiritually discerned by the Holy Spirit and cannot be discerned by mans wisdom or the wisdom of this world . As you already know Christine! I learn so much from my other adopted brothers and sisters here it streghthens my faith and brings me such joy when the Spirit confirms in my spirit the work He does in others lives here. I really like the discussions about the times and prophecies we are seeing fulfilled as Gods plan proceeds toward fulfillment and we get to share eternity with Him of His incomprehensible love for us. See you there Christine! I thank the Lord for this site and all of you on it and Mr G. and all who work on it!

    • Geri Ungurean

That’s just it, we DID get a life………an ETERNAL ONE.

      • James

In reality you’ve received a lifetime of fear based indoctrination and brainwashing. “Worship me or burn forever!”

      • Matthew Lee

It’s going to be so sad for you when you realize you wasted the only life you’ll ever get dreaming of a better one to come.

  • Geri Ungurean

This world will pass away and everything on it as well. The Creator of the Universe wants to save you. But it’s your choice. He could have made robots to love Him. He made people with free will to choose.

    John 3:16-17
” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

    • Catlin

Love me or burn in hell. That’s not a choice. That’s extortion. A god that threatens the people he is supposed to love is far from benevolent.

      • Wendy Reichelderfer

Oh Catlin, if you would only open your heart up to understand how very GOOD and LOVING He is, your choice would be a no-brainer! Who DOESN’T want to be around perfect, personal love??

For those who say “no” to even that, He simply honors THEIR desire to live apart from Him….but it’s for eternity.

What you described is not “extortion”….it’s the person’s free-will choice that it’s responded to. Isn’t that what you want? It is YOUR DECISION.

        Choose wisely.

        • Dr Stardust

No, it sounds like “Love me or suffer you lowly maggot”. That is, if you believe in any of that stuff.

Nothing in the bible, through this deity’s supposed direct action is done for love and love alone. Not a single thing. Any action is either horrific, or serves an underhanded purpose. There’s no free will in manipulation, threats, extortion, or lies. You can’t have “free will” if you cannot act of your own volition, free from influence, extenuating circumstances, or bias. When you act when told you’ll burn, or a loved one will get hurt, that’s not free choice, that’s instinctual preservation.

          • Wendy Reichelderfer

Why do you seethe with bitterness, Stardust?

          • Dr Stardust

You must be reading something that’s not there. I’m not bitter, I’m saddened. I’ve already left you a response as to why elsewhere in this mess.

        • Catlin

If I asked you for your wallet, would you give it to me? Probably not. You have the freedom to choose to hand over something that is yours.

What if I pointed a gun at you and said “give me your wallet or I will shoot you.” Then what?

That is extortion and that is what your perfect loving god is doing when he says “love me or else”. I want no part in that and if I one day stand before this malevolent bully I will tell him exactly that.

          • Wendy Reichelderfer

No, you WILL BOW before Him on that day, Catlin. I can promise you that.

          • Suez

Amen, Wendy. It will be to late then, but EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS,,, THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!!!!

          • Suez

Catlin,,, if f I offered up my life so you could live forever, and all you had to do after I died for you, is to beleive that I did it for you, and love me. Wouldn’t that be a small, but simple thing to do, for your eternal soul???

      • Well…

Well, you exist not due to your own creation… so in the end your fate is in the hands of the creator.
You still like to live in this world, even full of problems, right?
You enjoy the things that are good, despite the bad, right?
You can want to live in a world like this, as long as their isn’t a God behind it?

But if there is a God behind it, you don’t want the eternal life free of pain and problems that he promises you if you accept his salvation?
        It is a choice. A simple one…
If you want to reject God and his rules and his salvation so much that you choose hell, then why should God stop you?
If you refuse to choose love, God will not force you to take what is good over what is bad.
        It is your choice.
God is loving, but he is also severe.
God makes the rules, not us. He is not a human.
You may not like the rules, but it’s your choice to accept them or not. That’s just the way it is.
        The end.

        • Dr Stardust

She’s alive because her parents had sex. Her father and her mother acted out their instinctual desire to at least attempt at procreation. She just happened to be one of (probably) dozens of successful practice runs. Nothing mystical about getting busy.

      • SammiD

Look, here it is in black and white:
We are ALL (every one of us) born into this world as sinners.
Long ago, God set put a penalty in place for those who sin. (We ALL are sinners)
The penalty for sin is death.
Death to sinners means that satan, the god of this world, can take you to hell because he already owns you. God made a plan to keep satan from taking humans to hell. Since the penalty for sin is death, He sent Jesus to die in our place. Jesus lived a perfect life and was without sin. Anyone who will accept the death of Jesus as payment for their sins WILL BE SAVED FROM HELL.
You have the choice to believe it or not.
You need to know that even if you don’t believe, it’s still true.

        Any questions?

  • PEOPLE !!!  Please consider Jesus !!! That he shed his
blood on the cross for the remission of sin, that he was
buried, and rose the third day.

2 Peter 3:9   The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,
as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to

If you are willing to come to Jesus  in sincerity today, you will
    be saved :

Romans 6:23   For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood,
    the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

    Ephesians 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Jesus is waiting for you people !!! He has the free gift of
Salvation !!! Consider Jesus Christ Today !!!

2 Corinthians 6:2   (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time
accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee:
behold, now is the accepted time; behold, NOW IS THE DAY

This is so judgemental. Makes all Christians look like idiots. True Christianity is driven by love, not gossip about others who struggle

    • Christine

According to the Scriptures, didn’t Jesus say that God’s Word is truth? We are told to put on the whole armor of God – and the first piece of equipment is the Belt of Truth

Those who are “struggling” don’t need the lies being pushed upon them by those who choose to follow the lies in this fallen world rather the truth of God via the Bible.

How about instead of quoting a book that many just consider a series of morbid fairy tales, you say why you’re right. Why this book, that is, for all we know, a collection of scary stories to tell misbehaving children, HAS to be true. What proof can you show? What statements can you sincerely make (that can be measured) without quoting the material in question? Having been raised by christians, reading every version of the bible (and other religious texts) I can get my hands on, and spending half my life in an ultra-conservative environment surrounded by manic street preachers, I cannot find any reason to hold this book in the regard the people who run this site do.

I feel like you didn’t really watch the performance because your first piece of evidence is inaccurate. First, she rode in singing Roar, not Dark Horse so the picture is inaccurate as well. Second the animal is a tiger to go along with the line that she has the eye of the tiger, really simple imagery.

Wow. You have to be the most ignorant person I’ve ever had the displeasure of coming across. Are you implying that homosexuals are evil? I think its probably safe to say that you’ve never met a gay person before. You have twisted the tenets of your own faith so horribly beyond recognition that you have convinced yourself that by promoting hatred of people different than you. You have taken a message of love, forgiveness, understanding and nonjudgment into something petty, loathsome, and fearful in the worst possible way. Open up your bible and read everything in red letters over again and then re-read your statement here and then think about who is really doing the work of Satan. Homosexuals just trying to live their lives in peace, Pop stars making a living practicing their craft, or YOU spreading hatred, bigotry, and intolerance thinly veiled with Christ’s message of unconditional love for thy neighbor?

You are a sad, sad excuse for a human being.

  • carson

don’t judge? so those who say that ought to let jeffery zombie the guy who ate his victims come live with them and their small children then, after all you can’t judge that man as being evil or sinful, ok maybe extreme, then let an unrepentant liar or petty thief or drunkard come live with you and your children. Even those who say-don’t judge, spend their lives judging and if they say they don’t they lie.
Bad company corrupts good morals, how many of the ‘don’t judge’ers’ decide all the time who is bad company and don’t enjoin themselves with that bad company and don’t let their kids hang out with that bad company?
Jesus also said judge with righteous judgement, the living Word of God is righteous and He shows how.
I have no idea what the half time show was but imagine it at least steeped in sensuality, which is also sin. There are a ton of sins promoted by the world as if not sins today and aiming to befriend the world brings one into enmity with God and is bad company which will only lead one astray and a little love of the world like a little leaven can leaven the whole lump. God certainly doesn’t say hate anyone as any who are in Christ in truth today were once not but were in the world, dead in sins and trespasses and by nature children of wrath, but God had mercy and called and brought them out from the world and into Christ. Love people enough to tell them with grace the truth and way of life/salvation in Christ but the way’s of the world are not of God.
The verses on the woman caught in adultery, read them slowly, Christ told her go-and sin no more, so He Himself showed that yes she had sinned, He said those who are without sin can stone her, He never said she had no sin nor did He say that those around her had judged wrongly in her case, you can also note condemning, vs judging, many verses show that those in Christ will judge the world and angels let alone we are to decide bad company and more.
If people never showed from God’s Word what God holds to be sin then who would know to repent and turn to Christ to be saved? so the idea of not calling sin sinful is silly, none would hear to repent then and sin would be instead glorified, like it is often enough today in the world and that itself speaks volumes about the world. But some will be saved, called out of the world and unto Christ.
Either for Christ or against Him AND-those who don’t gather with Him=scatter. People saying ‘I’m christian”..yet know nothing of what He said and seem to have no intention of ever learning of Him..what sort of faith is that? to never gather with the Lord? He is Lord you know. Faith without even the basics of work is dead and the greatest commandment is to love God with all strength, to never gather with the Lord in humble heart and love..what in the world kind of faith is that, wake up.

I just want to say “THANK YOU Geri and the rest of the NTEB staff” for having the courage to write concerning what the Holy Spirit has illuminated your minds to. My discernment agrees with your articles and perspective on things. Unless a person is Born Again by God, this discernment will allude them.

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who not only called out the alarmist tripe in this article, but also those who stood up for either their faith, or lack thereof. It’s been a fun evening, hopefully everyone involved in tonight’s discussion has been given something to think about.

While I hope those with faith in their sky daddy will redirect their efforts towards making the planet a better place to live in rather than nihilistic proclamations of supposed devilry, I doubt that will happen. But, still, we try.

I also hope for fewer trolls just spouting stuff in a juvenile go at getting people riled (eg that “HAIL SATAN” guy…c’mon, you can do better than that).

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
14 For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

By the many comments on here, it only goes to show the masses that will accept the Antichrist who is soon to appear. They will follow after him worshiping Satan himself. Indeed, it’s all about choice.

        • Dr Stardust

I choose to be free from all mystical superstition. I choose to follow my heart instead of a book written by prejudiced men in a dead age. I choose to hold others accountable for the harm they do to the advancement of our species. If not for the dark ages and religious intolerance to scientific advances, think of where we’d be. Calculus wouldn’t had to have been rewritten from scratch, our early scholars of the stars wouldn’t have been killed for doubting their god or gods, the momentum of discoveries built up would have continued. We’d be hundreds or even thousands of years ahead of where we are now.

In danger of what? More torture threats from a magical prat? I’ll take them seriously if he’s proven real and any versions of your holy book are proven genuine. Use your time to better a life instead of an afterlife that is likely not there.

        • Wendy Reichelderfer

Thank you for the suggestions for my life, dear Stardust. Your mistake there is to assume that my life doesn’t already include kindness such as those!
God states that when the worst period on earth appears, there will be those who will STILL “shake their fist” at Him. I suspect you may be among that number.

God HAS been proven real, the Bible HAS been proven genuine and accurate. Wake up!! Instead of worshipping the cosmos, make your peace with the One who made it.

Will continue to pray for you…

          • Dr Stardust

I don’t “shake my fist” at a deity. I am perplexed at to why anyone thinks it’s real. No deist icon has ever proven real, that’s why there’s still doubt (to put it mildly), why there are thousands of christian sects, hundreds of thousands of other faiths not related to the god of abraham and isaac. You just WANT there to be something. That’s all it is. There is no other justification for your fairy tale faith. I will not judge your character for it, but I will pity you. I pity that you need to cling to a dead ideology, a dead era, and what all evidence shows to be simply a social dogma written to cull the masses. I pity that you cannot outgrow childish dreams. I pity that you put your trust in a thing that can offer you nothing in return. I pity that you’re going to turn around and say that you pity I cannot “see the light”. Most of all, I pity that this discussion has even had to take place. It saddens me that our species is like a mighty elephant held with thin rope, shackled by fear and tradition. We could be starting to traverse the stars if not for dogma. Imagine how wonderful humanity could be, how loving we could be, if the dogma barrier were gone. No one saying “fags burn in hell”, no one hanging someone because of their skin color, no one cutting their wrists because of the crippling fear that being “different from the norm” has brought, no one defining what a family is for other people, no one lacking the imagination to stand on the shoulders of giants to reach out and change the world.

My goodness you guys are nuts… Seriously… It’s because of people like you and your followers that I turned away from religion. It’s nonsense. If there is a god and he would truly condemn people to eternal torture for liking a song, then he doesn’t deserve worship and admiration. He would deserve to be reviled and scorned as a sociopathic lunatic. The fact that you people would bow to someone so cruel and vindictive is very revealing.

    • Wendy Reichelderfer

God doesn’t “condemn people to eternal torture for liking a song”. Good grief.

It’s your choice to hate of JESUS CHRIST that would send you there.

      • Dr Stardust

Hating and not believing are not the same thing. We have no reason to think that this story character ever existed, like Batman and Mr. Darcy. You can’t hate something that’s not there. You can dislike the character, you can find them written poorly, but you can’t hate them. No, if James has to be labeled as hating something here, I think it’s fair to say that he hates the practice of worshiping a character described as cruel and callous as your god.

        • James

Thank you Stardust. Yours and Catlins replies to these “loving Christians” made my work day fly by Lol!

          • Dr Stardust

I can say the same thing! Your responses have been well constructed. I enjoy pointing out logical fallacies. If it help people construct arguments better in the future, or even think more deeply and critically about conventions they hold, then I’d say it’s worth while. I don’t want to attack anyone (besides, Aron Ra and Matt Dillahunty are so much better at that than I am), and I really hope I haven’t come across that way. I just want better discussions, and less hysteria in everyday life.

  • Hannah

You are wise. Thank you for your input. I couldn’t have said it better. I stand firm in my beliefs (or non-beliefs). This article is completely wack. Let everyone else believe what they want. I do not condemn them for believing in God or anything else for that matter. But, I’ll be damned if someone attacks someone for their opposite beliefs. We all live on this planet together, our atoms all came from the same stars. Peace and love to all who read this article tonight.

This Post is pure propaganda; As with any hate group[yes this is a hate group; as all they do is point out the evil of others rather than spreading the love their religion is supposed to be about] They have to promote their own agenda, make an enemy where there isn’t one to manipulate the mindless masses into being scared into turning to the religious beliefs of those spewing the hate; To illustrate the lies here; Let us look at the Half Time Show Set List; First Song, when Katy is on the ‘Monster’ which was Giant Golden LION Puppet[This ‘Christian’ Group is calling a LION a Monster… isn’t that one of the symbolic names for God in the Christian Religion?]; NEXT; Dark Horse was sang on a chess Board; If you want Symbolism; The Chess Board is one of the most recognized symbols for strategy, Dark Horse really represents the idea of Retribution and Karma… or as the Bible puts it ‘an Eye for an Eye a Tooth for a Tooth’… did anyone in the bible not cross the jews and eventually have their asses handed to them…Aside from the Romans that were converted and took over leading Christianity…Next we have Lenny Kravitz Joining Katy for ‘I kissed a girl’ where Lenny Kravitz is doing most of the singing; But lets be honest, This song is just admitting to the fact that everyone experiments growing up sure the lyrics are mild sexual nature but the song embodies anything… at the age of 12 you might have stolen a cigarette from mom or dad… you weren’t supposed to but you still did it…Lenny Left and we move into a Beach Party with ‘teenage dream’ then ‘California gurls’ which are talking about ‘fantasies’ with Teenage Dream is the typical daydream of a girl with a crush, and ‘California gurls’ defines most guys fantasy of girls out on the beach.; Missy Elliot Joins her on Stage with ‘Get your Freak on’ and ‘Work It’ then took control of the Stage with ‘Lose Control’… Yes all three Rap hits are about Sex in some manner or another, but they are cleaner Rap hits than many at their given times on the charts; Katy Returned for Firework… I’m reviewing the lyrics as I type this; I see a song asking ‘Do you Ever Feel Worthless? Do you feel dead?’ I think for this organization both answers is ‘yes’ but rather than trying to fix it they are projecting it on everything else… The song goes on to say that ‘you are wonderful, you just have to not be afraid to show it, don’t be afraid of what people say about you, it won’t change the value that you have, it won’t diminish the worth your life has to you or those that love you’… but i can see the propaganda of the ‘LGBT Agenda’ being read into simple lines like ‘let your colours Burst’ and ‘After a hurricane comes a rainbow’ they want to pull keywords and read anything into them. If I wanted to I could probably read anything into how she is preaching the collapse of Government and the rise of Troll Overlords, and someone would say ‘that makes a lot of sense’ becuase it would sound just as stupid as this article that inspired my present rant…

  • Why Will Christians Turn Against God In The Last Days? Jesus Tells Us >>>

You come to Christ and He cleanses you from sin and removes the demonic spirit that had you in bondage, but a Christian must stay away from activities that bring you into temptations of worldly activities that glorify the idolatry of man instead of the glory of Jesus Christ as given to you in his Sermon On The Mount, Parables, and both the Ten Commandments and the 50 Commands of faithfulness to the Gospels teachings.

If you don’t, you invite the demonic spirit to renter your soul, but this time he brings 7 evil spirits with him, and you end up worse off then you were before.

    Matthew 12:43-45

Matthew 12:43-45. New King James Version (NKJV)

    An Unclean Spirit Returns

43 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.

45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation

  • Are you serious? I was laughing until I realized this is serious. Who’s writing this garbage? Keep spouting your propaganda hypochristians. Least you openly announce that you are all sheep and are easily manipulated, like a badge of pride xD; for that I thank you, to my never ceasing amusement and my fully satiated sadistic side that is constantly flabbergasting you simple-minded people with “logic” to which the only reply is “faith”. Done ranting, leaving you with some interesting words to ponder upon.

‘I can tell you through personal experience having once been a fundamentalist christian that there is not much “thinking” going on. It is all “feeling.” It is much like a gambling addiction. Instead of pulling the arm on the slot machine however, you spout statements about how you love Jesus etc. In both instances your brain releases feel good chemicals. The difference being that gamblers attribute the good feeling to the possibility they may win whereas fundamentalists attribute it to the presence of the Holy Spirit. But in the end all it is is your brain giving you what you really wanted. Some feel good chemicals. Like any addict.’

Is this site satire?! Nobody really believes this, right?

This is the next Westboro Baptist Church. Sadly, they’re serious with their claims.

Its insanity that you interpret imagery such as ‘illuminati’ signifiers as having the potential to ‘turn people away from God’. I’m not even going to talk about how homophobic your article is, it doesn’t deserve response.

  • Wendy Reichelderfer

    ABSOLUTELY TRUE, and well spoken!!

    • Wendy Reichelderfer

(This did not appear in it’s proper place. Don’t EVEN think that I would EVER praise the above perspective!!!)

    • Dr Stardust

It is so very true. It’s ludicrous that anyone could think the symbolism of a watching and ever-present figure can turn people away from their course. I mean, the assertions in this article would have one think that the Illuminati weren’t disbanded over 70 years ago, and the name used purely for shock value in entertainment to criticize the owners music industry by the very artists they pay and mistreat! The nerve…

    Writers & readers,
I love Jesus, he healed my broken life and keeps me together to this day. Id like to apologize to the readers for how other followers behave/react to stuff like this ect. Son of Thunder?
What I find a shame is that this post received over 24k shares only to find the outcome is ill fragrant.
Let us carefully consider a social platform to express love in some form, love never fails. If a gift of love is refused, move on and dont engage in doubtful disputations.
Lifting Christ up draws all men, any glory that satan gets is short lived here. In this crazy world, people need to read a message of hope & life. I dislike religiosity to the oomph degree. It separates & divides, thats Gods job.
just saying, this entire thread just makes me sad.

To all of those who have enjoyed critiquing my input, have at it now. It appears that “having the last word” is making you feel more confident in your positions. I give up speaking the truth to you in love….you won’t even consider it as you have chosen to continue in mocking the Lord, about which you will answer for someday. I will continue to pray for you. You will need it. Over and out.

haha You people are crazy!! Just a bunch of prejudice bigots!

  • Denise

Jesus preached love and forgiveness. He never judged. We, as Christians, may not agree with what people do. However, when you condemn and point fingers you lose an opportunity to share the Word. Example is the best way – be kind, love and do for others. God loves everyone 🙂

Just a correction…Perry was singing her song “Roar”, not “Dark Horse” on the gold lion when she was entering the field. Thus why the lion roared when she sung “you’re going to hear me roar.”
Just saying. Might want to get the facts right before you go off on them.

Occam’s Razor is a problem-solving principle which states that an explanation for any given scenario/problem becomes far more likely depending on the fewer assumptions which need to be made in order to arrive at that solution. With that said, which then is the more likely explanation?

    1. Katy Perry is a well-paid pop star who developed her own personal philosophy as it applies to religion/spirituality.

    2. Katy Perry is an agent of Satan and/or The Illuminati who is using her position as a pop star to influence peoples’ minds in such a way as to engender support for her cause.

In keeping with Occam’s Razor, we must eliminate as many assumptions as possible in order to arrive at the correct solution. We do this by examining both solutions and finding the solution which contains far more empirical evidence.

Now, we know pop stars are paid handsomely for their craft, and we know (generally) how they come to gain such wealth. We also know that attitudes towards religion and spirituality change over time (both individually and within society as a whole). We know this because it is well-documented and has been observed many times. What we do NOT know, that is to say, what we do NOT have empirical evidence to support, is the existence of Satan, God, or any such deity (and in fact, proving those entities existences relies itself on more or less tossing logic and reason out the window. But that’s another argument for another time). We also haven’t enough empirical evidence to support the existence of the Illuminati. Thus, the second solution as described above becomes invalid.

Now, I can imagine some of you might say “I can prove the existence of God, Satan and The Illuminati”, and, while you may have your own arguments, I would ask that before you make them, subject them to Occam’s Razor as I have. Additionally, as it applies to proving the existence of deities, I would like to observe a logical quandary posited by Douglas Adams: Proof denies faith, and without faith, God is nothing.

Sounds to me that this site is promoting the things they say Katy Perry “did” during halftime. I don’t recall any speech where she explains her agenda before or after game or on the news. Anything you believe to be “bad” in your mind can be turned around for others to believ to be “bad” as well, so thanks for that. Now young impressionable people will think the same as your Holier Than Thou attitude. I also recall her songs of confidence and self-image that you never mentioned. Were these sinful too? I am sure u will twist these around as well. I never saw what she “did” during her show because like many it is not taken literaly. So get off your high horse because I am sure anyone can turn your actions into something “unchristian!” One example: nonchristians judge and spew the bible without knowing something or someone firsthand.

All that money the rich have– (some) got it by selling their soul— to the hater-liar- deciever(satan)they will not be living in any peace-joy – or love – they will be burning forever with their god satan. Katie was a Christian at one time– she is NO LONGER A CHRISTIAN!!!!! we have too look at her fruits- and judge her righteously she will regret later when she’s finally –AWAKE FOR ETERNITY! How sad too. Jesus loves everyone, he died on the cross for everyone! Katie is slapping Jesus face by walking away from him saying what you did Jesus WAS not good enough, you DIED ON THE CROSS – BUT IT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. She goes to the killer satan instead holding hands with satan. God wake-up these people . In Jesus Name. Amen!

  • H

Um….Actually I think what she says is not against god…seems like she found more of a realness with it….she says she doesn’t picture god as an old man on a throne, etc. She doesn’t see it as that explainable thing, rather she prays, is thankful etc. She is showing herself to be on a sort of path of finding something real in it and there is nothing wrong with that. I think it’s beneficial to all christians to shed that fundamentalist, legalistic crazy religious stuff and find a real relationship in there…see god as more mysterious like that. You can’t judge her, you don’t know her path and you can’t judge anyone. and this kind of overly-religious legalistic nonsense comes from FEAR and the need to explain things that are happening in the world. let go of that and maybe you will find LOVE, and love is what god is about. it’s freedom, it’s sweetness,it’s talking to god and finding a journey with it that cannot always be explained. it’s not this damning type of talk and judging crap. stop doing that.

  • I pray that she comes to her sense and realize how deceived she has been by Satan and run back to Christ. For worldly things such as fame, success, and money people are willing to trade their own soul for these things.
