The slaughter of innocents who, for conscience’ sake, would not yield to her totalitarian demands has so refreshed and exhilarated her that she reels in ecstasy.” Talk about a horror movie, but this is no Hollywood fantasy, this is the Roman Catholic Church as revealed in Revelation.

“And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” Revelation 17:6 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we look at the Roman Catholic Church mentioned in Revelation 17, and the Vatican state mentioned in Revelation 18. We see that they have been quite busy spilling the blood of the saints over the past 1,700 years, but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to what they’re going to do during the great Tribulation. The Spanish Inquisition happened historically, and is an excellent type picture of what’s soon coming. Prayer to God and belief in His word is the very bedrock of the source of strength and power in the life of the born again Christian

When famed evangelist DL Moody later recalled being onboard a ship that was in the process of sinking, he said this, “I could not endure it. I must have relief, and relief came in prayer. God heard my cry, and enabled me to say, from the depth of my soul, ‘Thy will be done!’ Sweet peace came to my heart. Let it be Northfield or Heaven, it made no difference now. I went to bed, fell asleep almost immediately, and never slept more soundly in all my life. Out of the depths I cried unto my Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. I can no more doubt that God gave answer to my prayer for relief than I can doubt my own existence.”  What is that? That is prayer and belief in the life of a born again Christian.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6,7 (KJB)

How much of God can you have on a daily basis in your life? The Bible declares that we who are saved can have as much of Him as our heart desires, the only problem is all the other things that we allow to distance us from God keeps us from that close relationship. You got saved when the gospel was presented to you in some form, and you believed it. At the moment Paul says you were “sealed unto the day of redemption”. But what about every day between salvation and redemption, how is that supposed to be lived out? Same way, through prayer to God and belief in His word. On this Sunday Service, I want to remind you of the simplicity that is found in following Jesus Christ, and of the raw power available to us through prayer and belief in the living God.

I’ve been banned from seeing my grandsons since I comforted the 4 1/2 year old with sharing Jesus loving the little children & telling him about the one who created him last he stayed overnight March 3rd. He was so excited to hear about Jesus! His dad (my son) was angry that I told him & wants me to apologize. I never will do so. If my own family won’t hear, I know there’s others searching for the truth. My heart grieves for all the lost who will spend eternity in hell if they reject the Lord Jesus Christ, the expectant hope of the world. He is not willing that any should perish. The King James Bible Baptist Church is located in the heart of New York City, truly the front lines of the end times, and they need Bibles. Lots of Bibles.

They call him the ‘Subway Preacher’ and for years Brian Kelly has been preaching the gospel of the grace of God in the ‘belly of the beast’ on the streets of New York City. But about 5 months ago, the Lord opened up a brand-new door of ministry, calling him to plant a church in a second-floor storefront. Yesterday, Pastor Kelly and his team paid a visit to the NTEB Bookstore here in Saint Augustine.

“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Revelation 3:8 (KJB)

During their visit, we were happy to show them around and get them up to speed with what the Lord has been doing with our ministry, especially with our Free Bible & Gospel Tract Program. I explained to Bro. Kelly how the Lord has put NTEB into the fantastic position of supplying chaplains, preachers, churches, jails and prisons with King James Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions, it was then that his eyes lit up and he shared with me the work he had begun 5 months ago.

I asked him if he needed Bibles, and he said, yes, we have a desperate need for whole King James Bibles. The Lord told me to give him 1,000 whole Bibles and 1,000 gospel tracts. We are sending them by faith, and will go out in the mail on Monday.
