NTEB to supply Victory Baptist Church in Kerrville, Texas, with resources needed for 400 back-to-school backpacks filled with King James Bibles and supplies

The floodwaters that roared through Kerrville, Texas, took the nation by storm as we watched incredible devastation especially at Camp Mystic Christian girls camp where 27 campers and counsellors perished. We were contacted by Pastor Ed from Ranchero Drive Baptist Church with an urgent request for Bibles and we sent out an opening order of 1,000 KJVs. Yesterday we learned about a local community outreach for the children of flood victims that Pastor Cody from Victory Baptist Church wants to conduct, and we offered to help him to bring it to fruition.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 (KJB)

Victory Baptist Church wants to hold a community day where they will feed anyone and everyone who comes out, as well as handing out 400 back-to-school backpacks filled with school supplies and, of course, a beautiful new King James Bible. But in order to make that happen, they need a little help, and that’s where NTEB’ers come in. After exchanging dozens of messages back and forth with Pastor Cody, NTEB has offered to provide all the school supplies needed in each backpack as well as the Bibles, 400 in all. These are children and teen Bibles, separate from and in addition to the 1,000 adult Bibles we have already sent out. Total cost for all of this is right around $12,500.00, and the resources mentioned here have already been sent, by faith, to supply the need in Kerrville in time for their event on August 9th. When we started Now The End Begins 16 years ago, never in my wildest imaginings did I ever see a Free Bible Program, much less a Bibles Behind Bars program, and certainly not one where we would be supplying aid, relief and Bibles to assist disaster victims on s large scale. But this is what the Lord has seen fit to use NTEB to accomplish, and it is so exciting to be “in the game” on this level. Please pray for the Kerrville outreach we are helping Victory Baptist with, pray for Pastor Cody, and pray for healing for all the people who will come on that day for food and much-needed school supplies for their children. Bibles Behind Bars here in our third year is operating at a national level supplying King James Bibles and books to every jail and prison that asks us for help

As you know, the LORD has opened up a ‘great door and effectual’ for Bibles Behind Bars in north and central Georgia partnering with the Gospel Truth Jail Ministry. We have putting putting King James Bibles into the Heard County Jail, the Gordon County Jail, the Murray County Jail, the Catoosa County Jail, and at the Whitfield County Jail where 10 men last night heard the gospel, believed it, got saved and each received a Bible from Bibles Behind Bars. Praise the Lord!! Please pray that these men will grow in their salvation and sanctification.

“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:7 (KJB)

As revival continues in Georgia, requests for Bibles and books continue to pour in. The Hardin County Detention Center in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, the Joe Corley Processing Center in Conroe, Texas, and Leake County Correctional in Carthage, Missouri have all sent in requests for Bibles and books. Over in Kerrville, Texas, we are working with Victory Baptist Church for something very exciting to help families impacted by the floods, and I will write about it as we get closer to the event to take place in Kerrville on August 9th. But it’s really big and you’ll love it. In the meantime, we need your help to keep the supply lines open. We have never turned down any request from any jail or prison in the last 3 years.

Today we are sending out 1,000 King James Bibles to 2 Baptist Churches in Kerrville, Texas where the flood is, and are planning on sending food, clothing and supplies as well

Shortly before the start of the Podcast today, I had a phone call with Pastor Ed from Ranchero Drive Baptist Church in Kerrville, Texas. His church is just southeast of where the flood took place over the weekend. He told me that his church, as well as Victory Baptist Church just northwest of the river, have a very high need for King James Bibles. So we are sending out an emergency order of 1,000 Bibles that’s being processed today, and preparing to help meet whatever needs they have in the coming weeks just like we did in Asheville, North Carolina.

The NTEB Relief Convoy, created during the North Carolina floods and headed up by NTEB’er Charlie On the Hwy, is likely going to once again be pressed into service. As emergency and recovery efforts in Texas begin to wrap up over the next few days and weeks, there is going to be a tremendous need for food, clothing, clean water, personal supplies and baby diapers. Last year we sent 100,000lbs of those items up to Asheville, and will likely need to do at least that again. We need your help to do all this. The 1,000 Bibles going out today costs right around $4,000, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Please pray about joining us here at NTEB as we set out to assist the people in Kerrville, Texas.
