End Times
The Heretical Blasphemy Of Joel Osteen In His New Book Entitled ‘The Power Of I Am’ Is On Full Laodicean Display
Joel Osteen excitedly begins to urge his followers to repeat after him – “Alright just repeat after me. I am strong. I am healthy. I am confident. I am confident. I am secure. I am talented. I am creative. I am disciplined. I am focused. I am valuable. I am beautiful. I am blessed. I am excited about my future. I am victorious. Alright how about amen?”

Joel Osteen’s “preaching” is heresy combined with blasphemy, written in the study of Satan himself.
In the Bible, the term I AM is the Name that God tells Moses in Exodus 3:14 he can refer to Him as when he goes back to Egypt to have a showdown with Pharaoh. God tells his this as the bush burns but is not consumed. It is a somber, awesome and fearsome time. So holy is it that God demands that Moses even remove his shoes, for even the ground where this is happening is holiness unto the Lord.
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” 2 Peter 2:1 (KJV)
But according to false teacher Joel Osteen, you can use God’s sacred Name as a buzzword to get cool stuff. This is the poisonous heresy of the Word Faith Movement combined with the blasphemy of using God’s Name in vain.

“A time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats.” ~ C.H. Spurgeon
Joel Osteen excitedly begins to urge his followers to repeat after him – “Alright just repeat after me. I am strong. I am healthy. I am confident. I am confident. I am secure. I am talented. I am creative. I am disciplined. I am focused. I am valuable. I am beautiful. I am blessed. I am excited about my future. I am victorious. Alright how about amen?”
This is what passes for preaching in 2015, Laodicean slop where YOU are the focus and God is nothing more than an errand boy who is expected to provide “stuff” on demand. “When you talk like this”, Osteen declares, “these things will follow you and God will provide them.” Outrageous! How is it possible that Lakewood Church in Houston has not yet been hit with lightning? Nothing he “preaches” about has any relation to the Bible in any way, shape or form. There is nothing in the Bible that backs up any of the claims Osteen makes the way he makes them. Everything he says has been lifted out of context, twisted, and repacked until any original meaning has long since disappeared.
Pastor Joel Osteen’s Full Sermon “The Power of ‘I Am'”
WARNING: I only include this video of Osteen’s “The Power Of I Am” sermon so you know that what I tell you about his “preaching” is truthful and accurate. I do not recommend that you attempt to listen to it all the way through.
The greatest Christian in the Bible, the apostle Paul, asked God 3 times for the “thorn in his flesh” to be removed. God say “no, my grace is sufficient for you.” Paul suffered the rest of his life with that “thorn” and then said that his suffering brought him closer to the Lord. This is Bible doctrine, folks, this is what the Bible actually teaches. Read it and see how it matches up with Osteen’s spewings:
“For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 (KJV)
According to Joel Osteen’s reasoning, the apostle Paul was a faithless failure who only “dwelt on the negative” and didn’t receive God’s blessing because he didn’t “speak it and claim it”. Paul says “You want God’s power? Then glory in your weakness! Take PLEASURE in persecutions, in sickness, in distress.” That’s where God’s true power, riches and blessings are. Bible doctrine is the stark, polar opposite of Osteen’s theology.
Osteen’s sermon, “The Power Of I Am” at it’s best is Laodicean slop designed to appeal to self-centered, narcissistic “christians” looking to get more “stuff” from God. But at it’s worst, it’s heresy combined with blasphemy, written in the study of Satan himself. The Devil is the “I Will” guy, but the flip-side of that coin is stealing God’s Name and becoming the “I Am” guy. I cannot imagine how anyone can sit and listen to this trash on a Sunday morning and call it a “worship” service. It is nothing of the kind unless you are referring to self-worship, which actually seems to be the goal of Osteen’s urgings.
Enjoy all the money and the fame while you can, Joel, what’s coming next for you won’t be any fun at all.
