Did Russian Warship ‘Aggressively Approach’ US Destroyer In Arabian Sea Yesterday In A Show Of Support For Iran And Their Conflict With America?

Thursday, Jan. 9, while conducting routine operations in the North Arabian Sea, USS Farragut was aggressively approached by a Russian Navy ship," the US Navy's Fifth Fleet, which oversees naval operations in the Middle East, said in a statement. "Farragut sounded five short blasts, the international maritime signal for danger of a collision, and requested the Russian ship alter course in accordance with international rules of the road. The Russian ship initially refused but ultimately altered course," the statement said, adding "While the Russian ship took action, the initial delay in complying with international rules while it was making an aggressive approach increased the risk of collision." The Russian vessel ultimately turned away after bridge-to-bridge radio communication was established with the US destroyer.

A Russian warship “aggressively approached” a US Navy destroyer while it was operating in the North Arabian Sea Thursday, ignoring warnings from the US vessel and increasing the risk of a collision, the US Navy said Friday.

Imagine if the United States actually did enter into a war with Iran, I am sure you can see it in your mind’s eye. Casualties on the US side would be pretty low, and America would pretty much be able to handily win the conflict. Now imagine that same war but with Russia supporting Iran, and how that might possibly go. And while you are chewing on that add China into the mix backing up Russia and Iran. How would that war go? Not so well.

The scenario I have laid out for you is not fantasy, conspiracy or some far-flung reach of my imagination, it is not only possible but likely to take place at some point in the not too distant future. Why, it was only a mere two weeks ago that Russia, China and Iran made military history by holding a 3-day naval exercise where they worked out in war games to get used to being on the same team. They called it ‘Operation Marine Security Belt‘. With that in mind, now read the story of the aggressive Russian warship rolling up on US forces yesterday.

FROM FAKE NEWS CNN: Video of the incident, which was obtained by CNN, shows the Russian warship rapidly approaching the USS Farragut, coming as close as 180 feet to the US ship before changing course, according to two defense officials.

The incident is the latest example of a close encounter between US and Russian military forces that American officials have described as unsafe and provocative. It comes roughly seven months after another incident in the Pacific when US and Russian warships came so close the US ship had to perform an emergency maneuver to avoid a collision. “On

The Russian vessel ultimately turned away after bridge-to-bridge radio communication was established with the US destroyer. A US Navy official says that the Farragut is part of the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier group and the Farragut is tasked with intercepting potential enemy ships to prevent them from approaching the aircraft carrier.

Following the June incident, the US Navy accused a Russian warship of acting in an unsafe manner by coming within 100 feet of the USS Chancellorsville, forcing the US ship to perform an emergency maneuver to avoid a collision.

In the video taken from the American ship, the two ships come so close that Russian sailors can be seen appearing to sunbathe on the stern of their vessel. READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes primarily to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations. All this is possible because YOU pray for us, YOU support us, and YOU give so we can continue growing.

But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 13,131 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 14,500 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
