Presidential candidate and South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg criticized Vice President Mike Pence’s version of Christianity when speaking with reporters. He said it’s time to move towards a more humane vision of faith.
Gay mayor Pete Buttigieg is on the warpath, and the main target in his sights in vice president Mike Pence, right behind that is the biblical model of Christianity. Buttigieg says that it’s time to more on from that old model, to something that is more ‘inclusive’ and ‘humane’. Why? Because the bible is against the LGBTQ+P for pedophile lifestyle, and Mayor Pete is not happy with that.
“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:24-27 (KJV)
What someone should tell Mayor Pete is that God did not make anyone gay, lesbian, transgender or anything such like thing. Romans clearly tells us that those things are the result of sin, calling the LGBTQ+P for pedophile lifetyle a ‘vile affection’ that needs to be repented off. Yes, the bible absolutely tells the gay and transgender to come to God exactly as they are, but that after they come, God will change them into a ‘new creature’ that will be quite different from the current one.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Sorry, Mayor Pete, but the bible is not going to change to accommodate your lifestyle preferences, what the bible has declared to be sin will remain sin, and no legislation in the world will ever undo one jot or tittle of it. We here at NTEB will be praying for your salvation.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg: We Need to Move Towards a ‘More Humane Vision of Faith’ Than What Pence Represents
FROM MEDIAITE: “You know, I think people are responding to it because hopefully it’s a reminder that all of us deserve equal claim on the blessings of life in this country,” Buttigieg said.
“Just because you are LGBTQ doesn’t mean it’s okay to discriminate against you. I think most people get that, I think most Christians get that, and it’s time for us to move on toward a more inclusive and more humane vision of faith than what this vice president represent,” he added.

Buttigieg had also questioned the faith of President Donald Trump during an interview with USA Today.
“I’m reluctant to comment on another person’s faith, but I would say it is hard to look at this president’s actions and believe that they’re the actions of somebody who believes in God,” he said. “I just don’t understand how you can be as worshipful of your own self as he is and be prepared to humble yourself before God. I’ve never seen him humble himself before anyone. And the exaltation of yourself, especially a self that’s about wealth and power, could not be more at odds with at least my understanding of the teachings of the Christian faith.” READ MORE

When you contribute to this fundraising effort, you are helping us to do what the Lord called us to do. The money you send in goes to the overall daily operations of this site. When people ask for Bibles, we send them out at no charge. When people write in and say how much they would like gospel tracts but cannot afford them, we send them a box at no cost to them for either the tracts or the shipping, no matter where they are in the world. Even all the way to South Africa. We even restarted our weekly radio Bible study on Sunday nights again, thanks to your generous donations.
But whatever you do, don’t do nothing. Time is short and we need your help right now. If every one of the 12,621 people on our daily mailing list gave $4.50, we would reach our goal immediately. If every one of our 151,781 followers on Facebook gave $1.00 each, we would reach 300% of our goal. The same goes for our 13,600 followers on Twitter. But sadly, many will not give, so we need the ones who can and who will give to be generous. As generous as possible.
