Two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington were shot and killed Wednesday evening while leaving an event at a Jewish museum, and the suspect yelled, ‘Free, free Palestine’ after he was arrested, police said.

The players are somewhat different than they were in Nazi Germany, but the game is still the same. Jews are not safe just about anywhere they go, including in Israel. Last night in Washington DC, two newly-engaged-staff members of the Israeli Embassy were brutally gunned down in cold blood as their assailant shouted ‘Free Palestine!’

All through the writings of the prophets, we see about an event the Bible calls the time of Jacob’s trouble, and it will be a 7-year period in which God will judge the world in general and His chosen people, the Jews, in particular. Jesus says about this time in Matthew 24 that it will be a time a great tribulation such as the world has never seen, and that includes the Holocaust from WWII. Worse than the Holocaust? Much, much worse. This is why we spend every day warning the lost, encouraging the saints, and sending out as many Bibles as we can, that the word of God will be available to all who need it.

FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar identified the victims as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. Lischinsky was a research assistant, and Milgrim organized visits and missions to Israel. They were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum when the suspect approached a group of four people and opened fire, Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith said at a news conference.

The suspect, identified as Elias Rodriguez, 31, of Chicago, was observed pacing outside the museum before the shooting, walked into the museum after the shooting and was detained by event security, Smith said.

When he was taken into custody, the suspect began chanting, “Free, free Palestine,” Smith said. She said law enforcement did not believe there was an ongoing threat to the community.

The stunning attack prompted Israeli missions to beef up their security. The shooting comes as Israel has launched another major offensive in the Gaza Strip in a war with Hamas that has heightened tensions across the Middle East and internationally and as antisemitic acts are on the rise.

“These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW!” President Donald Trump posted on social media early Thursday. “Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ’s office said Thursday that he was “shocked” by the “horrific, antisemitic” shooting. “We are witnessing the terrible price of antisemitism and wild incitement against Israel,” he said in a statement. Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter said the two people killed were a young couple about to be engaged, saying the man had purchased a ring this week with the intent to propose next week in Jerusalem. The US has obtained new intelligence suggesting that Israel is making preparations to strike Iran and their nuclear facilities, even as the Trump administration has been pursuing a diplomatic deal with Tehran

The backchannels throughout the Middle East are lit up like a pinball machine today, with all signs pointing to an imminent strike on Iran by the nation of Israel. Yes, we’ve been to this brink many times before, granted, so what’s different this time about this potential ‘imminent strike’ false alarm. The difference is that Donald Trump just came back from a 3-day jaunt to the Middle East where he seemingly single-handedly reset relations across the board. We have arrived at the ‘now or never’ portion of our show, and Israel has promised ‘never again’. We are about to see if they mean it. That’s the memo.

Israel and the IDF must strike Iran to buy desperately needed time before a nuclear attack. New intelligence suggests Israel is preparing possible strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, US officials say

FROM CNN: Such a strike would be a brazen break with President Donald Trump, US officials said. It could also risk tipping off a broader regional conflict in the Middle East — something the US has sought to avoid since the war in Gaza inflamed tensions beginning in 2023.

Officials caution it’s not clear that Israeli leaders have made a final decision, and that in fact, there is deep disagreement within the US government about the likelihood that Israel will ultimately act. Whether and how Israel strikes will likely depend on what it thinks of the US negotiations with Tehran over its nuclear program.

But “the chance of an Israeli strike on an Iranian nuclear facility has gone up significantly in recent months,” said another person familiar with US intelligence on the issue. “And the prospect of a Trump-negotiated US-Iran deal that doesn’t remove all of Iran’s uranium makes the chance of a strike more likely.”

The heightened worries stem not only from public and private messaging from senior Israeli officials that it is considering such a move, but also from intercepted Israeli communications and observations of Israeli military movements that could suggest an imminent strike, multiple sources familiar with the intelligence said.

Among the military preparations the US has observed are the movement of air munitions and the completion of an air exercise, two of the sources said.

But those same indicators could also simply be Israel trying to pressure Iran to abandon key tenets of its nuclear program by signaling the consequences if it doesn’t — underscoring the ever-shifting complexities the White House is navigating. READ MORE

Murray County Jail up in Georgia has an urgent need for King James Bibles and Christian literature for the hundreds of inmates they have there

Back in March of this year, we answered a Bible request from Chaplain Larry Styles at the Whitfield County Jail Ministry in Georgia, a group of retired volunteers who go into the jails on a regular basis and minister to the inmates with prayer, bible teaching, preaching, and of course giving them a copy of the preserved word of God. We sent them right around 500 King James Bibles, and now the need is growing in the North Georgia area, in fact it’s exploding, and the Lord is tapping us to answer the call!

“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.“ John 15:8 (KJB)

Today I received an email from Pastor Rick at the New Life Baptist Church in Dalton, and he wrote to thank us for sending all those Bibles to Whitfield. Then he told me about the greater need that they have up there. He said this: “First of all I want to thank you for the KJV Bibles your graciously gave to the inmates. They are going out and we do see a results of the Word of God working in these men. Our Church provides good KJV Bible studies to the inmates along with your Bibles. Praise God we are seeing men saved and growing through the lessons and mainly God’s Word. We have another need I would like to share with you. There are 4 churches involved in the Jail ministry at the Murray County Jail, neighboring county to Whitfield. Our church is one of them.  Is it possible that we could get KJV Bibles for Murray County? It would be a tremendous blessing as we go in to preach if all the inmates had their own copy of God’s Word. Please let me know if this is something you could help us with. I am just now learning about your ministry and it thrills my heart to read the great things God is doing through you to reach those behind bars.
