Bibles Behind Bars here in our third year is operating at a national level supplying King James Bibles and books to every jail and prison that asks us for help

As you know, the LORD has opened up a ‘great door and effectual’ for Bibles Behind Bars in north and central Georgia partnering with the Gospel Truth Jail Ministry. We have putting putting King James Bibles into the Heard County Jail, the Gordon County Jail, the Murray County Jail, the Catoosa County Jail, and at the Whitfield County Jail where 10 men last night heard the gospel, believed it, got saved and each received a Bible from Bibles Behind Bars. Praise the Lord!! Please pray that these men will grow in their salvation and sanctification.

“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:7 (KJB)

As revival continues in Georgia, requests for Bibles and books continue to pour in. The Hardin County Detention Center in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, the Joe Corley Processing Center in Conroe, Texas, and Leake County Correctional in Carthage, Missouri have all sent in requests for Bibles and books. Over in Kerrville, Texas, we are working with Victory Baptist Church for something very exciting to help families impacted by the floods, and I will write about it as we get closer to the event to take place in Kerrville on August 9th. But it’s really big and you’ll love it. In the meantime, we need your help to keep the supply lines open. We have never turned down any request from any jail or prison in the last 3 years.

Maybe you’re celebrating the 4th of July with fireworks, but at Bibles Behind Bars we are rejoicing for this massive open door of Bible outreach the Lord has given us

When it rains, it pours, and requests for Bibles in English, Spanish and Ukrainian are pouring in this week. I just got this email from Bro. Jean and he writes “I am right now in Odessa, Ukraine handing out and placing Chick tracts in the Russian and the Ukrainian language. We sure could use some more Ukranian Bibles, thank you in advance!” Talk about a ‘letter from the front’, that’s about as real deal as it gets. We are boxing up his request right now, and looking at 3 new jails who just joined the ‘Triple B’ family.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (KJB)

The Hardin County Detention Center in Elizabethtown, Kentucky needs King James Bibles. Chaplain Joshua Shaffer wrote and told us “At this facility there are 648 beds but there more inmates than that due to them having to sleep in canoes so it would be close to around 700 inmates. We would take whatever amount of Bibles the Lord would provide for us. Thank you!” Inmates sleeping in canoes? Just imagine how precious a Bible would be to an inmate sleeping in a canoe, more precious than fine gold.

The Joe Corley Processing Center in Conroe, Texas needs Spanish Bibles. Chaplain Daigle writes saying “At our Facility, we have a large Spanish population, and we are in need of Spanish Bibles, Thank you.”

Leake County Correctional in Carthage, Mississippi needs King James Bible as well as devotional reading material. Chaplain Vasquez writes and says “We are a super regional with 450 county and state inmates both male and female. The inmates are very hungry for The Word and a good Bible to draw closer to God. It is becoming harder to receive donated Bibles as many sources aren’t supplying any until next year. Your support will be very much appreciated by the inmates and staff.” Another one of the dozens of jails who have been abandoned by their previous Bible suppliers who now turn to Bibles Behind Bars in near desperation for supplies. Praise the Lord we can meet the need!!

We are continuing to see souls getting saved, Bibles and books handed out, as the Lord is using Bibles Behind Bars to keep the supply lines open in these end times

We have been saturating north and central Georgia with King James Bibles and books over the past few months, and the result has been two-fold. Not only are inmates continuing to get under the preaching of the gospel, get saved and get a Bible, but the jail and prison ministers we support in the 6 facilities across Georgia are also charged up now that a supply line for them has been opened to assist them in their labours. Bro. Micah was so excited he sent us an update at 4:23 AM this morning with the good news.

“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.” Acts 16:25 (KJB)

His email read: “6 men got saved in the Whitfield County Jail Dalton, GA last night in services with 10 Bible Believing preachers showing up to preach the gospel to each and every cell block. 6 men trusted Jesus and Bibles were handed out. Glory to God!” If you minister on any level in the prisons, seeing inmates get saved charges you up to keep going like nothing else. But the other thing that those preachers need is knowing there is a group like Bibles Behind Bars who will supply them with King James Bibles, Spanish Bibles, Scripture portions and everything else they need to minister to the inmates.

We are more than halfway to our goal of sending out 5,000 Bibles, books and tracts for the month of June, with new requests coming in every day. Chaplain Daigle from the Joe Corley Processing center in Conroe, Texas, wrote to us yesterday with an urgent request for Spanish Bibles. Chaplain Michael at the Leake County Correctional Facility in Carthage, Mississippi, also reached out this week asking for Bibles and any other reading material we can send. Both these requests have been added to the list, and we need your help to fulfill this great spiritual need.
