The NTEB Free Bible Program Has Now Gone Past 125,000 King James Bibles, New Testaments And Scripture Portions We’ve Given Out
Our NTEB Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars has now gone past 125,000 Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions we’ve given out.
Chaplain Scott from the Union Correctional Institution wrote to me the other day and said “The KJV Bibles your ministry has graciously provided have proven to be very popular. In our chapel library at Union Correctional Institution, we are down to our last box of KJV Bibles. Another shipment would be a blessing to our inmates here at Union C.I. and our work camp. Thank you for your support, I am praying that the Lord blesses you and your ministry.” I told him we would love to replenish his supply.
“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” Psalm 68:11 (KJB)
Take a moment to realize that, after all the Bibles we have been sending out and putting in place since 2021, that not one day goes by without some inmate sitting in a jail or prison asking for a precious copy of the word of God. We have now passed 125,000 King James Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions that we’ve given out by God’s grace, (and your help), and that has created an awesome ‘Maginot line’ of Bibles in places where it’s very dark, and many feel hopeless. Places like the North Fork Correctional Center, where prisoner violence and suicides were quenched by giving a King James Bible to every new arrival. That’s real-deal front lines stuff right there.

Right now we are filling orders for Bibles 5 days a week, every week, and are praying about having the resources to create our own Bible warehouse and control the shipping process. If we can get to that point, we will be able to double our monthly output of free Bibles almost immediately. It’s your prayers and your support that allows us to do all this, God’s people being raised up to carry out the work of the Lord. Name me one thing that’s more important than giving a lost soul a copy of the preserved word of God, but I can’t think of what that might be. If the Lord has prospered you, please consider becoming a financial supporter of our Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars. Give as generously as you can, there are inmates in prisons we haven’t reached yet, waiting for a Bible, and they won’t get it without your help. Most every place we’ve given Bibles to have told us we were the only ones who agreed to help them.

Chaplain Billy Writes To Tell Us Of An Inmate At Limestone Prison In Alabama Who Desperately Needs A Ruckman Reference Bible And Some Encouragement
There is a prisoner who is serving about 30 yrs at Limestone Prison who desperately needs a Ruckman Study Bible and encouragement, and can we help?
We have sent lots of Bibles to Chaplain Billy Crenshaw in the past, he’s a former prison chaplain in Alabama that God called to minister in two area hospitals, and who just may be called back to the jails in the near future. Chap wrote to us with an urgent one-off request for a prisoner at the Limestone Correctional Facility, he needs a good Study Bible and some encouragement.
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:32 (KJB)
Chaplain Billy writes: “There is a prisoner who is serving about 30 yrs at Limestone Prison who desperately needs a Ruckman Study Bible. I am friends with his mother she was telling me how much he needs a good study bible and encouragement. Thank You so very much for your help. I was once in the jail ministry and it looks like I may heading that way again. Currently I am the Hospital Chaplain at two East Alabama Health Hospitals and their Nursing Home (formerly East Alabama Medical Center) that you were kind enough to send Bibles to before. Please let me know if you can send him a bible.” That Bible went out today and along with it a copy of ‘Justified Outlaw’ in the hopes that he will be both encouraged and motivated to respond to the call of the LORD. This week we sent out a massive amount of Bibles and books, but none more important than this single Bible needed by just one more soul. All this made possible by your prayers and generous financial support.

Chaplain From The Atascadero Maximum Security State Forensics Hospital In California Writes To Tell Us Of Their Urgent Need For King James Bibles
Some of the inmates in many of the places we send Bible to have done some really bad things, but Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross at Calvary for the vilest offender. This is why we send out King James Bibles!
There are few things scarier than summoning up pictures in your mind of a state-run, maximum security mental hospital for violent offenders and the criminally insane. Movies like ‘Inception’ and ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ are two of the ones I think of. Truly scary stuff. But what Hollywood doesn’t show you, and never will show you, is the incredible work that’s being done by prison chaplains in places like Atascadero to see the inmate patients get saved by giving them the gospel and a King James Bible.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2 (KJB)
Chaplain Anderson at the Atascadero Maximum Security State Forensics Hospital In California reached out to us a short time ago, wondering if we could supply them with King James Bibles, and I told him we would be happy to do that. As I sit here writing this article, King James Bibles are now also being sent to the Northwest Florida Reception Center Main Unit in Chipley, Florida, the Santa Rosa Correctional Institution in Milton, Florida, and to the Dominguez State Jail in San Antonio, Texas. We never seem to come to the end of our list because new facilities are reaching out every week to us. Some of the inmates in many of the places we send Bible to have done some really bad things, but Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross at Calvary for the vilest offender. These are the people we are reaching with King James Bibles, New Testaments, scripture portions and our brand-new NTEB ‘Book Box’, and we have seen hundreds of them come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. The Richland Parish Detention Center In Louisiana Will Be The First Jail To Receive Our Brand New Triple-B ‘Book Box’ In Addition To King James Bibles
Chaplain Shaun at the Richland Parish Detention Center in Louisiana will be the very first to receive our brand-new ‘Book Box’ sent out with the Bibles he requested.
I received an email today from Chaplain Shaun at the Richland Parish Detention Center in Louisiana, where he told us of his need for Bibles, as well as sharing a little of his heart regarding the inmates he ministers to on a daily basis. The email reads ” I have multiple inmates requesting Bibles. I handed out over 120 Bibles last year and helped those receiving them to know where to begin reading, how to interpret what was read, and encouraged to keep reading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.” When I read that, I see two things. First and foremost, he needs Bibles in his jail which we are happy to provide, and second, he needs discipleship materials to go along with the Bibles. Because of that request, he will be receiving the very first Bibles Behind Bars ‘Book Box’ to help him as he ministers where the Lord has put him. Praise the LORD for His provision!
“And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.” Acts 8:30,31 (KJB)
Because of your continued prayer and support, Bibles Behind Bars is growing and expanding as we hold up the hands of the chaplains, pastors and personal workers who minister to the inmates in jails and prisons all across America. We are so very excited to now be sending out the ‘Book Box’ that contains a dozen copies each of “CPR The Biblical Guide To Soul Winning”, “What Must I Do To Be Saved?”, and one geared directly to the inmates, Roy Bell’s new book “Justified Outlaw”. (You can see what the ‘Book Box’ looks like in the photo at the top of this article.) Right now with the current number of requests we have waiting to go out, we need to raise $8,500 to meet that need. To date, we have had 659 inmates who have heard the gospel of the grace of God and surrendered to Jesus for salvation, all of whom received a Bible from us. Now inmates will also receive these excellent Bible teaching books as well, and it’s all thanks to each and every one of y’all.
