Then he said, “Look at this bible. This is MY bible.” I will not let it out of my sight. I get to KEEP it.”

Alan and Kim Hardin are two people who have a passion to get the King James Bible into the hands of as many people as possible, and have worked tirelessly to get the word out about our Bibles Behind Bars and Free Bible Programs. They wrote to me today to tell me the incredible story of a homeless man named Dallas, who is very grateful that our Free Bible Program exists.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5:24 (KJB)

Kim writes and says “I was so blessed to be there when they brought Dallas into the Victory Life Ministry home last week. He shared he had been roaming the streets of Las Vegas for the last three years, lost and alone, not sure of where he would lay his head or even where his next meal would come from.”

After intake, the assistant home director Greg Hill, allowed Dallas to shower and eat a good meal. Next, Greg presented Dallas with one of your bibles.

Dallas spoke to me about what that meant to him: 

He stated he had two previous bibles that he had lost in his homeless journey. Then he said, “Look at this bible. This is MY bible.” I will not let it out of my sight. I get to KEEP it.” He told me that God speaks thru his word to him. He then said this Word is his shield and he read Revelation 3:10 to me, “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”. He said he will cherish this bible because he so desperately needed it. He treated it like the rare and precious gift that it is and is so thankful to have it. He told me he was starting to read the Gospels, and that God is renewing his mind and heart through the reading and studying of his bible. He asked me to please tell you thank you. Chaplain B.J Crenshaw wrote to us today and said “You were very kind to send two cases of Bibles to East Alabama Medical Center (now East Alabama Health). The Chaplain Director is the only chaplain with full access to the Psychiatric Ward at both hospitals EAMC owns. Recently the Psych. Ward Director asked the Chaplain Director if she had any Bibles.  She replied, “yes, King James Bibles.”  The Psych Ward Director said, “good, that’s what they want.” The Chaplain Director then took 10 King James Bibles to them.” What a blessing!

Brothers and sisters, I hope these testimonies give you just a small idea of the incredible impact we are having in the lives of hurting people who desperately need a copy of God’s preserved word, and that we all are being used to bring that to fruition. Our NTEB Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars has now gone past 125,000 Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions we’ve given out.

Chaplain Scott from the Union Correctional Institution wrote to me the other day and said “The KJV Bibles your ministry has graciously provided have proven to be very popular. In our chapel library at Union Correctional Institution, we are down to our last box of KJV Bibles. Another shipment would be a blessing to our inmates here at Union C.I. and our work camp. Thank you for your support, I am praying that the Lord blesses you and your ministry.” I told him we would love to replenish his supply.

“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” Psalm 68:11 (KJB)

Take a moment to realize that, after all the Bibles we have been sending out and putting in place since 2021, that not one day goes by without some inmate sitting in a jail or prison asking for a precious copy of the word of God. We have now passed 125,000 King James Bibles, New Testaments and scripture portions that we’ve given out by God’s grace, (and your help), and that has created an awesome ‘Maginot line’ of Bibles in places where it’s very dark, and many feel hopeless. Places like the North Fork Correctional Center, where prisoner violence and suicides were quenched by giving a King James Bible to every new arrival. That’s real-deal front lines stuff right there.

Right now we are filling orders for Bibles 5 days a week, every week, and are praying about having the resources to create our own Bible warehouse and control the shipping process. If we can get to that point, we will be able to double our monthly output of free Bibles almost immediately. It’s your prayers and your support that allows us to do all this, God’s people being raised up to carry out the work of the Lord. Name me one thing that’s more important than giving a lost soul a copy of the preserved word of God, but I can’t think of what that might be. If the Lord has prospered you, please consider becoming a financial supporter of our Free Bible Program and Bibles Behind Bars. Give as generously as you can, there are inmates in prisons we haven’t reached yet, waiting for a Bible, and they won’t get it without your help. The Winn ICE Detention Center in Louisiana is in desperate need of a lot of Spanish King James Bibles to give to border crossers…will you help us to do that?

We got an email the other day from Chaplain James Below from the Winn Correctional Center that function as an ICE detention facility in Louisiana. He wanted to know if we could supply some Spanish King James Bibles for the border crossers that are detained there. What’s the top story in America right now? The problem on the border, and what an amazing blessing it is that God is opening a door for us to get His word to the lost souls in that detention center.

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 (KJB)

Chaplain James has asked us for as many Bibles as we can send, and I think we should send them enough Bibles for all 1,400 people that the Winn ICE Detention Center holds. If you agree, would you please pray for our efforts to get that many Bibles out to them? And if the Lord has prospered you, please consider financially supporting our Bibles Behind Bars program. It gets bigger every month, and that’s a blessing, but we need lots of help from God’s people. Also yesterday we received information from a Christian ministry operating in Jordan not far from Selah Petra that needs King James Bibles, and will keep you updated on that.
