New York Daily News Mocks Christians Who Offer Prayers For Victims Of Muslim Terror Attack

Did the NY Daily News mention that California is one of the most gun-controlled states in the Union or that they already have expanded background checks and require “assault weapons” to be registered with the state? No.

Following the heinous December 2 attack that resulted in the deaths of 14 innocents in San Bernardino, CA, the New York Daily News ran a front-page story mocking GOP presidential hopefuls who prayed to God rather than calling for more gun control

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” Psalm 14:1 (KJV)

The NY Daily News front page said, “God Isn’t Fixing This.” And the story went on to mock Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Governor Chris Christie, former Governor Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, and Donald Trump—all of whom invoked God’s name on behalf of the victims and the families of the victims of the horrible attack.

According to the NY Daily News, Cruz, Christie, Bush, Carson, and Trump erred in offering prayers rather than “solutions on gun control.”

Did the NY Daily News mention that California is one of the most gun-controlled states in the Union or that they already have expanded background checks and require “assault weapons” to be registered with the state? No. But they sure mocked those who see the futility of expanding background checks that failed miserably in San Bernardino on December 2 and proved impotent in Colorado as well, where gunmen carried out high-profile shootings on November 27 and October 31.

Democrats Boo God At The Democratic National Convention In 2012:

Cruz tweeted, “Our prayers are with the victims, their families, and the first responders in San Bernardino who willingly go into harm’s way to save others.” Christie tweeted, “Praying for all those victimized by the shootings in San Bernardino, California today..”Bush tweeted, “Praying for the victims, their families & the San Bernardino first responders in the wake of this tragic shooting.” Carson tweeted, “My thoughts and prayers are with the shooting victims and their families in San Bernardino.” And Trump tweeted, “California shooting looks very bad. Good luck to law enforcement and God bless. This is when our police are so appreciated!”

And the NY Daily News described it as “another round of silence… from GOP presidential candidates on the issue of gun control.” source
