One person was killed and at least five others were injured after a building in Rehovot suffered a direct hit in a wave of rockets fired from Gaza shortly after 6 p.m. on Thursday evening.

For the past several days, Israel has been under constant bombardment from rocket attacks coming from Gaza, and now one person has died with many more injured. After not firing at Israel since 11:55 p.m., rocket launches by the Islamic Jihad in Gaza renewed after the terror group had fired 507 rockets on Israel over the course of Wednesday. Out of the Islamic Jihad rocket attacks, Hagari said that the IDF had around a 95% Iron Dome shoot-down success rate.

One dead, several injured after direct rocket hit from Gaza

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: One person was killed after he was trapped under the rubble of the damaged building, and five people are receiving medical treatment on the scene after sustaining light injuries as a result of the direct missile hit. One of the injured is a woman in her 60s who is suffering from a head injury, United Hatzalah has confirmed.

United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit is also treating numerous people for emotional shock.

Israel Police forces, medical personnel and Fire and Rescue Services are currently searching for additional people who may be trapped underneath the rubble. The most recent IDF strike in the Gaza Strip targeted the deputy commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket division, Ahmed Abu Daqa, the IDF has confirmed.

Abu Daqa was responsible for firing rockets into Israel, particularly into the Sderot area, and for the day-to-day management of the force.

According to the IDF, he had worked extensively to promote, plan and carry out attacks aimed at Israeli territory. In addition, he took part in firing rocket barrages into Israel during Operation Guardian of the Walls and Operation Breaking Dawn. READ MORE

The IDF in Israel launched rare airstrikes into Lebanon early Friday morning, just hours after it struck opposition targets in the Gaza Strip.

Think about all the things happening at the same time in the Middle East right now. In Jerusalem, Israel, you have Jews celebrating Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits at the Western Wall, you have Muslims celebrating Ramadan on the Temple Mount mosque, and you have Christians wandering the old streets celebrating all the events associated with the greatest event in human history, the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. On top of that, you have missiles being fired at Israel from Lebanon and the Gaza Strip with Israel answering back with airstrikes. Israel launches rare airstrikes in Lebanon following violence at Jerusalem holy site

FROM FOX NEWS: Both series of attacks were in retaliation after Palestinian militants in Gaza fired rockets into southern Israel. Later, another volley of rockets was fired from Lebanon into Northern Israel. The rocket fire further escalated from initial violence at a Jerusalem holy site this week. The Israeli military did not provide information about its intended targets in Lebanon but said it targeted tunnels and weapon sites in the Gaza Strip.

A Lebanese TV station reported explosions in the southern port city of Tyre. The town is located about 20 miles from Israel’s northern border.

During a briefing Friday morning, IDF International Spokesperson Lt. Col Richard Hecht said the airstrikes in Lebanon mostly landed in the Rashidieh area, and the village of Al-Kalila, the area where the rockets were launched from on Thursday.

No casualties were reported on the Lebanese side, he clarified. Hecht also said Israel is hoping for a peaceful day as worshipers gather in Jerusalem.

“All eyes on Jerusalem and we’re hoping for a quiet day of prayers,” he said. “Nobody wants an escalation right now.”

The spokesperson said that “quiet will be answered with quiet” and that “nothing has happened since the last hour.”

Hecht also provided a synopsis of the rocket fire from Gaza, specifying 44 rockets had been fired into Southern Israel from Gaza.

One of the rockets struck a house in Sderot while a woman and her daughter were inside. They were not injured, he said. Eight of the rockets were intercepted by the IDF’s missile defense system, while 14 fell in an open area, 12 fell into the sea, and nine fell in the Gaza Strip.

He said the Israeli Air Force retaliated with further attacks on Hamas targets and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, including a shaft for an underground site to construct arms, three other weapon workshops, and a terror tunnel route.

The Israeli military did not provide any further details. The current round of violence began Wednesday during an incident at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem’s Old City, where hundreds of worshipers gathered. READ MORE

‘Return to the Mount’ activists detained by police on suspicion of preparing to sacrifice a paschal lamb on Temple Mount in Jerusalem for Passover

According to the Middle East Monitor, the group known as ‘Return to the Mount’ or Hozrim Lahar, ‘is a fairly new movement which focuses on the Temple Mount and raising awareness of the need and the demand for the construction of the Third Temple.” This week, leaders of that group attempted to sacrifice a paschal lamb to coincide with Passover which begins at sundown tonight. This is not fulfillment of any Bible prophecy, but an excellent indicator of the rising end times temperature we are seeing everywhere.

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.” Revelation 11:1,2 (KJB)

This May 14th, Israel will have been regathered for 75 years, and the drumbeat for rebuilding the Temple have never been louder. When construction finally starts, it will be through the auspices of the Abraham Accords created by Mohamed bin Zayed, and signed by Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump. But this Temple will be the Temple for Antichrist, who when he sits down in the holy place, will trigger the start of the great Tribulation three and one-half years into the time of Jacob’s trouble. Police arrest Temple Mount activists trying to prepare Paschal sacrifice

FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: In recent days, Temple Mount activists have intensified their attempts to prepare to carry out the Paschal sacrifice on Wednesday. The activists make similar attempts every year and are prevented from bringing the sacrificial lambs to the Temple Mount by police every year, with police even detaining some activists days ahead of Passover to prevent such attempts.

The head of the Return to the Mount movement, Rafael Morris, was detained on Monday on suspicion that he was going to try and sacrifice the Paschal sacrifice on the Temple Mount. As it does every year, the Returning to the Mount movement announced last week that it was offering rewards of tens of thousands of shekels for anyone who attempts or succeeds to sacrifice a Paschal lamb on the Temple Mount.

Two members of the movement were arrested on Tuesday as well when they were caught with a lamb near the Lion’s Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem. The Temple Mount will be open to Jewish visitors from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Palestinian terrorist groups have threatened, as they do every Passover, to respond if the Paschal sacrifice is carried out.

The Hamas terrorist movement warned that it would “not stand idly by” if the sacrifice is done, stressing that Israel “bears full responsibility for the repercussions” of such an act.

“We warn the occupation against committing foolish actions that affect al-Aqsa Mosque, and we call on our struggling Palestinian people to mobilize, raise the level of readiness, tighten the journey, intensify the bond and retreat in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and repel the occupation’s aggression and thwart the plans of its terrorist settlers,” said the Hamas movement.

“I back the chief of Israel Police, the commander of the Jerusalem District, the police officers, the soldiers and the entire defense system for their determined work last night at Temple Mount to prevent riots and terrorism,” said National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. “I give my full support to these actions that were intended to keep human life safe and wish a full recovery to officers who were injured. It’s very severe that stones, metals and fireworks are taken into a mosque with the intention of harming and murdering police officers and harming the citizens of Israel.” READ MORE
