If you are one of the 40 million Americans who take an aspirin every day, you may want to heed the latest warning from the US Food and Drug Administration

After many decades of promoting aspirin, the FDA now says that if you have not experienced a heart problem, you should not be taking a daily aspirin—even if you have a family history of heart disease. This represents a significant departure from FDA’s prior position on aspirin for the prevention of heart attacks.

On its website, the FDA now says:

“FDA has concluded that the data do not support the use of aspirin as a preventive medication by people who have not had a heart attack, stroke or cardiovascular problems, a use that is called ‘primary prevention.’ In such people, the benefit has not been established but risks — such as dangerous bleeding into the brain or stomach — are still present.”

Their announcement was prompted by Bayer’s request to change its aspirin label to indicate it can help prevent heart attacks in healthy individuals. Aspirin generated $1.27 billion in sales for Bayer last year, and from Bayer’s request, it appears they want everyone to be taking their drug.

But the FDA says “not so fast”—and rightly so. Evidence in support of using aspirin preventatively has gone from weak to weaker to nonexistent. This is why I’ve been advising against it for more than a decade. It looks as though aspirin, even “low-dose aspirin” (LDA), may do far more harm than good.

In fact, it is debatable whether or not aspirin has ANY protective benefits against cardiovascular disease, even if you have suffered a heart attack or stroke. Recent scientific studies have uncovered a number of serious side effects, suggesting that whatever aspirin may offer may be overshadowed by its risks, especially when safer natural alternatives exist.

As is true for nearly all medications, the longer we watch for side effects, the more we tend to find—even for drugs like aspirin that have been around for more than 100 years. Just because aspirin is an over-the-counter drug and has been around for more than a century does not mean that it’s harmless.

Aspirin May Conceal a Cardiac Event in Progress

Roughly 800,000 Americans die from cardiovascular disease annually, which includes heart attacks and stroke. This is why heart health has been such a major focus, and why aspirin was hailed as a “wonder drug” by those who believed it was a safe and effective preventative. But that ship has sailed.

Nearly 10 years ago, Dr. John G. F. Cleland, a cardiologist from the University of Hull in the UK, wrote an excellent article published in the British Journal of Medicine casting doubt upon the efficacy of aspirin therapy for prevention of heart attacks.

Based on a series of meta-analyses from the Antithrombotic Trialists’ Collaboration, which is an enormous body of research following more than 100,000 patients at high risk for cardiac events, Dr. Cleland concluded that aspirin therapy was not saving lives. Rather, aspirin seems to change the way vascular events present themselves.

The number of non-fatal events may be reduced, but the number of sudden deaths is actually increased, because what most physicians don’t realize is that surprisingly aspirin can mask a cardiac event in progress.

Dr. Cleland also found that studies touting aspirin’s benefits are seriously flawed and interpretation of those studies is biased. Since Cleland’s original study, a deluge of scientific studies have further exposed aspirin’s failure, which I have summarized in the next few sections.

Studies Show Aspirin Is a Dismal Failure at Preventing Heart Attacks

The following table lists, chronologically, a sampling of studies showing that taking aspirin may do more harm than good. Regardless of whether you’re a man, woman, or diabetic, aspirin has failed miserably. This list of studies is not comprehensive. You will find much more information in the GreenMedInfo database, which lists more than 60 articles about aspirin’s toxic effects.

  • American Heart Journal 2004 (WASH) – Patients receiving aspirin treatment showed the worst cardiac outcomes, especially heart failure
  • New England Journal of Medicine 2005 – Ten-year study at Harvard involving nearly 40,000 women found no fewer heart attacks or cardiovascular deaths among women receiving aspirin therapy
  • British Medical Journal 2009 – Aspirin therapy for diabetics produced no benefit in preventing cardiovascular events
  • Pharmacoepidemiological Drug Safety 2009 – Swedish researchers studying individuals with diabetes found no clear benefit for aspirin, but did note it can increase the risk of serious bleeding
  • Journal of the American Medical Association 2010 – Scottish study found that aspirin did not help prevent heart attacks or strokes in healthy, asymptomatic individuals with a high risk of heart disease
  • Journal of the American College of Cardiology 2010 – Patients taking aspirin showed ahigher risk for recurrent heart attack and associated heart problems
  • Expert Opinions in Pharmacotherapy 2010 – British meta-analysis of 7374 diabetics concluded that aspirin does not lower heart attack risk

Aspirin Increases Your Risk of Bleeding

Not only has aspirin failed to reduce the prevalence of heart attacks and strokes, but the list of its adverse effects seems to grow greater the more that it is studied. Chief among these is gastrointestinal bleeding, as aspirin interferes with your platelets—the blood cells that allow your blood to clot. According to one article, long-term low-dose aspirin therapy may double your risk for a gastrointestinal bleed.

Aspirin also increases your risk for a brain bleed, especially if you are older. One study found a high mortality rate for elderly individuals who had been taking aspirin prophylactically when they suffered a head trauma, resulting in deadly brain hemorrhage.

Aspirin Destroys the Lining of Your Gastrointestinal Tract

Regular aspirin use also destroys the lining of your gastrointestinal tract, increasing your risk for duodenal ulcers, H. Pylori infection, Crohn’s disease, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and intestinal perforations. More than 10 percent of patients taking low-dose aspirin develop gastric ulcers. The damage to your duodenum—the highest part of your intestine into which your stomach contents pass—can result in duodenal ulcers, which are prone to bleeding. Even low-dose aspirin is proven to cause problems.

A Japanese study found a higher incidence of bleeding at the ulcer sites of patients with duodenal ulcers taking low-dose aspirin (LDA) therapy, versus those not taking LDA. An Australian study also showed that aspirin causes gastroduodenal damage even at the low doses used for cardiovascular protection (80mg). And Japanese researchers found that aspirin had caused “small bowel injuries” to 80 percent of study participants after only two weeks of aspirin therapy.

Even MORE Bad News for Bayer

Each year, 15,000 people die and 100,000 people are hospitalized as the result of aspirin and other NSAIDs—and these are probably conservative estimates. But aspirin may be one of the oldest killer drugs! Strong historical evidence points to aspirin overdose as a major contributor to high death tolls during the 1918 influenza pandemic. Aspirin toxicity can result in hemorrhage and fluid buildup in your lungs, which can result in death. If you are interested in the evidence for this, please read Dr. Karen Starko’s fascinating paper in Clinical Infectious Diseases.

Lending even more weight to Starko’s work, an animal study in 2010 suggests that treating the flu with antipyretics (such as aspirin) may increase your risk of death. This study involved animals, but the results were compelling enough for the researchers to make an “urgent call” for human studies. Aspirin also depletes your body of important nutrients, including vitamin C, vitamin E, folic acid, iron, potassium, sodium, and zinc, as well as impairing your melatonin production. And in addition to aspirin’s growing list of bodily assaults, routine aspirin use has been associated with even broader health problems, such as:

  • Increased risk of one type of breast cancer in women (ER/PR-negative)
  • Increased risk of kidney failure
  • Cataracts, macular degeneration, and blindness
  • Hearing loss and tinnitus
  • Erectile dysfunction: Aspirin and other NSAIDs have been linked to a 22 percent increase in your risk of erectile dysfunction (ED), according to Kaiser researchers who studied more than 80,000 men

The Real Key to Protecting Your Heart Is Reducing Chronic Inflammation

Getting back to the subject of your heart, with all of these adverse effects, why risk taking aspirin when there are safer and more effective alternatives? About one in three deaths in the US are attributed to cardiovascular disease—but 25 percent of those are preventable.

The key is to address chronic inflammation, which can be accomplished by making specific lifestyle changes that encompass diet, exercise, sun exposure, and bare skin contact with the earth. In the remainder of this article, I will focus on heart-health strategies that work FAR better than aspirin. Last year, we showed you how Emergent Church huckster Bill Johnson of the notorious Bethel Church was promoting a ‘miracle’ that had supposedly taken place at the James River Church where a woman who was missing toes found them to be grown back after a ‘healing service’. Only problem was everyone connected to James River Church did their very best to not show you the regrown miracle toes. I wonder why? Now that same church just held their ‘Stronger Men’s Conference’ that looked like an unholy mashup of the UFC, monster trucks, and an AC/DC concert. Ahh, blessed be the ties that bind.

Do you want to know what creates ‘stronger men’? Men who get under the preaching and teaching of God’s preserved word in truth, sincerity and humbleness. If you need laser lights, rock music and over-the-top displays of ‘manly strength’, you have the world in all its glory. That’s not the gospel, that will never be the gospel, and mixing all that junk with a few nods to the Bible doesn’t change the equation one bit.

At one of his meetings, DL Moody watched a woman in the congregation of 20,000 stand up, and begin to give ‘enthusiastic utterances’ while he was preaching. Know what he did? He stopped preaching and had everyone sing an hymn while the woman was gently taken to another room and given the gospel. Why would he do that? Because in Acts 16:16 we see Paul dealing with a woman who, while she spoke the truth, was actually disturbing and disrupting the work of the Lord. As it turns out, her ‘spirit of divination’, so loved by today’s Charismatic church, turned out to be an evil spirit. Funny how that works, isn’t it? Look at the main image at the top of this article, it is from the ‘Stronger Men’s Conference’, what does that remind you of? If you answered the devil metal band AC/DC, you are correct. What is that symbolism doing in a church conference designed to create ‘stronger men’?

Your King James Bible tells you to seek the ‘old ways’ and to walk in the ‘old paths’, where the ‘good way’ is. The ‘good way’ for any Church is the old songs and hymns that magnify Jesus and minimize you, and preaching and teaching from God’s preserved word. No rock, no rap, no smoke machines, no laser lights. no ridiculous displays of false masculinity like what the ‘Stronger Men’s Conference’ is all about. You want to see how strong you are? Go preach the gospel on the street corner on a hot summer day for a couple of hours, hand out a few hundred tracts, compassionately tell lost people they are headed for Hell, and stand tall when the jeers, taunts and spit begins to fly. That’s what a strong, Christian man does.

Hundreds of thousands of pieces of gospel literature have been sent out, and hundreds have prayed to get saved after getting a copy of God’s word from Bibles Behind Bars in an amazing end times harvest

We have been sending out to the jails and prisons hundreds of thousands of King James Bibles, in English and Spanish, New Testaments, scripture portions and gospel tracts since 2021, that’s a lot of seeds planted for the Lord Jesus Christ. And those seeds, once planted, are being watered and cared for on a daily basis by the many chaplains and gospel workers who labour in the jails and prisons we send them out to. Today we report to you the happy news that the number of souls who have prayed to get saved is now past 230 and climbing. Praise the Lord!

As the end times rage around us, with bad news coming at us on every side, today we pause for just a little while to rejoice and revel in the harvest of souls that God is giving us through the Bibles Behind Bars Program. Inmates locked away, some for months and some for years on end, sit in their cell day after day with little hope for anything changing. In the midst of that comes to them a King James Bible, provided by all of you who pray and donate, handed to them by one of the jail and prison chaplains or personal workers. The gospel is preached to them, and so far, hundreds have responded to get saved. Right around 232 souls as near as I can figure from the reports we get. Chaplain Steve from the Adair County Jail will be preaching at the Camp Meeting, talking about the revival in his facility, you’re not going to want to miss that amazing testimony.

Pro-Hamas protesters in dozens of cities across America are participating in the ‘Global Strike for Gaza’ and ‘Stop The World For Gaza’ today, funding comes from George Soros

All across America today, frustrated commuters were stopped for hours by Pro-Hamas supporters who united to ‘stop the world for Gaza’ by blocking access to major roads and bridges in dozens of cities. This is not free speech, this is really not a protest, this is soft terrorism on a mass scale much like the ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter riots in the summer of 2020 were. These anarchist groups receive money from the Third Wave Fund, which itself is funded by Proteus, which is funneled money through the many-headed hydra that is George Soros. It’s not about Gaza, it’s about fomenting civil war.

Living here in the free state of Florida, we don’t have a whole lot of experience with terror-supporting groups locking arms and preventing the forward flow of traffic. I have watch multiple times as Black Lives Matter have reared their ugly heads, but as far as I know, they’ve never tried to commandeer the streets. They get away with this garbage because the Obama administration, operating covertly under ‘front man’ Joe Biden, allows it, protects it and encourages it. These mass protests have almost nothing to do with ‘free speech’ and everything to do with anarchy and rebellion. And speaking of Gaza, I stand with the Jews, pray for the safety of Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem. Am Yisrael Chai. There, I picked my side, now you pick yours.

Pro-Hamas Supporters Blocking American Roads and Bridges ‘for Gaza’

FROM THE NATIONAL REVIEW: In Chicago, protesters organized by a group called Chicago Dissenters blocked the access road to O’Hare International Airport at around 8:30 a.m. to protest Boeing, which sells military equipment to Israel. Activists posted videos on social media of irritated airline customers walking along the shut-down road with luggage in tow.

Some of the comments on the post mocked “the privilege of being annoyed” and being “inconvenienced by having to walk to your flight while Palestinians are being murdered.” All of the participants in the blockade were masked.

They’re attempting to effect economic blockades to coincide with Tax Day. Iran’s attack on Israel this weekend didn’t deter the pro-Palestinian groups from holding the already-planned events.

The Dissenters are nationally funded by grants from the Third Wave Fund, an activist group started in 1992 to mobilize young radical feminists which has since shifted its focus to resourcing and supporting “youth-led, intersectional gender justice activism.” The Dissenters were given a “Mobilize Power Fund” grant in November 2023 to support “safety and security measures among their membership as part of their organizing to free Palestine.” As an aside, it’s worth mentioning that, along with aiding the “Free Palestine” movement, Third Wave Fund also finances a “Sex Worker Giving Circle,” which is “a diverse range of sex worker-led groups throughout the country and bringing current and former sex workers to the philanthropic decision-making table.”

Protesters have also blocked off Lockheed Martin in Virginia, the Golden Gate Bridge in California, the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge in New York, and numerous highways and airports. I’m glad to see these activists putting themselves on display. Every one of these events publicizes how cowardly and extreme pro-Hamas activists are, hiding behind masks and hurling obscenities. With every demonstration since October 7, their signs have gotten more extreme, their chants more vile.

In October, protesters’ calls for “cease-fire” were almost knee-jerk; now the activists are cheering on Iranian missile attacks with glee and waving Hezbollah’s flag triumphantly. Full-throttle sympathy for terrorism was always the endgame, as we’ve written many times. Anyone who thought that calls for a cease-fire didn’t also mean the denial of Israel’s right to exist now have an array of evidence proving otherwise. READ MORE
