We have warned you about false teacher Todd Bentley for years now, we also warned you about the group that ordained him to be a ‘prophet’, the New Apostolic Reformation. Bentley’s “ministry” was nothing more or less than an openly demonic freak show in the flesh that at times ranged from comical to terrifying. The idea that anyone, on any planet, would consider this man to be a “minister of the gospel” is the most ridiculous thing you could ever imagine. Yet, in spite of that, Todd Bentley became an official ordained minister in the Charismatic Movement.

So now it appears that “minister” Todd Bentley has been engaging in a variety of illegal and immoral activities including homosexual threesomes, and some other things that cannot be listed because your eyes would bleed when you read it. But follow me now, as crazy as this all is, this is not the biggest problem that the Charismatic Movement has. No, their real problem goes way deeper than Todd Bentley.

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2 Timothy 2:3,4 (KJV)

The modern-day Charismatic and Pentecostal movements has become a clown show of the highest degree, no claims of “heavenly encounters” no matter how wild or how outrageous are ever spoken against. You have Heidi Baker imparting demons over at Bethel Church in Redding, the “name-it-and-claim-it” frauds of the Prosperity Gospel, fakers like Paula White and her “Lazarus Seed” heresy, open witchcraft with the ‘Destiny Reading Cards‘ and the list literally goes on seemingly endless. This is the real problem in the Charismatic Movement, it is built upon and filled with a false gospel and false teachings from top to bottom!

After following these laughable frauds for the past 10 years, I estimate that no more than maybe 20% of these people are even saved, and if they are they’ve become so far backslidden that their consciences have been seared nearly to the point of a mute uselessness. The Lakeland Outpouring, the Toronto Blessing, the Brownsville Revival and all the others have all been the work of the Devil, not of that junk is biblical, stay far away from it. Todd Bentley is a fraud, the “prophets” over at the New Apostolic Reformation are all frauds, and if the Charismatic Movement doesn’t stand up to rebuke this poison and clean house, they are finished.

FROM PULPIT AND PEN: Regarding the most recent Todd Bentley scandal, which includes allegations of homosexuality and polyamory, as well as other kind of sexual misconduct, Dr. Michael Brown said, “The internet is burning up with news of yet another scandal in the church, this time with serious accusations against charismatic evangelist Todd Bentley. What is God saying to His people through this current crisis? Regarding Todd’s situation, I have no specific comment, since: 1) I have not supported him being in ministry since his divorce and remarriage in 2008, and I am on public record to that effect. 2) I have no connection of any kind to Todd and his ministry. (I also disagreed publicly with the way other leaders handled things in Lakeland, where Todd became prominent.) But, after prayer and reflection, I do believe there are important things to share that are applicable beyond this current, alleged scandal.” — Dr. Michael Brown

What is God saying to His people through this?

Stop following absurd charlatans who kick people in the face to impart healing. Stop chasing the false charismata. Start representing God Dr. Brown and stop representing those that are doing the bidding of Satan. While I am glad that you stopped supporting him after his divorce, that does not quite let you off the hook. First of all, the fact that you have not supported him should not prevent you from weighing in on the story objectively. You should be able to rebuke what is clearly wrong and chew gum at the same time. More importantly, your statement reveals that you did support him prior to the revelation of infidelity. That means you were ok with the assault of the sheep in order to heal them. This is why you have no credibility left Dr. Brown. Bill Johnson not only prayed over Bentley at his commissioning ceremony but oversaw his bogus restoration yet Johnson is someone you voraciously defend should anyone dare question him. Nevertheless, Brown feels he has four points he wants to make.

“First, this is not the time to throw stones at charismatics, as some non-charismatic critics have been quick to do. To be sure, we charismatics have done a very poor job of self-policing, and, to be sure, we have had more than our share of sexual scandals. (Note that I write “we” and “our” as a charismatic myself. I will gladly point the finger within my own circles.. At the same time, there have been similar scandals in the Southern Baptist Convention, in non-charismatic, reformed circles, and, of course, in Catholic circles and beyond. In light of this, we should examine ourselves carefully, in the fear of the Lord. Are we living righteously before God? Are you? Am I? Are we conducting ourselves in purity?” — Dr. Michael Brown

In 2006 Ted Haggard fell from grace and that is putting it mildly. He was the head of the National Association of Evangelicals and used his pulpit in Colorado to rail against homosexuality to his 15,000 + congregation each week. Then he was busted in a decades long homosexual affair with a male prostitute who he was also doing crystal meth with. That Sunday my pastor started his sermon by saying we ought not to be throwing stones and passing judgment. He was wrong then and Michael Brown is wrong here. The bible makes it clear that we are to judge those within the walls of our church. It is those on the outside we are not supposed to judge as the church usually operates backwards in these regards. Here we see the microcosm of the problem Dr. Brown has that has left him as a gatekeeper for false teachers. He gladly points his finger in the general direction of false teaching but refuses to name the name. So, he wrote an entire book on the error of hyper grace but considers Joseph Prince to be a dear brother who just has some holes in his theology (actual quote). Now, I do not like the usage of “throwing the first stone”, which Brown uses here to muddy the waters. You can not condemn someone and still suggest that they are disqualified from ministry.

“Second, when we fail to address sin in private, it will explode publicly. This is doubly tragic, since it not only brings reproach to the name of the Lord, but it also drives away people who, before, were open to hear the gospel. They are anything but open now, wondering which leader is a sexual predator and who is covering something up. Again, I have no comment on the most recent accusations against Todd, since I do not know what is false and what is true. But I do know this (and it applies especially to those of us in leadership): God gives us many opportunities to repent in private before allowing us to be exposed publicly. If we keep sweeping sin under the rug, it will come back to haunt us and to bite us. That’s why it’s always best to repent quickly, completely and without excuse, casting ourselves on the mercy of God. He is more than able to forgive and even restore.” — Dr. Michael Brown

Are you serious? The word “restore” does not have to mean ministry! God can restore our walk with Him and that should be our focus. Not getting the cash cow back on the market as soon as possible. Haggard tried pretending he was restored after two months. It is insulting and remember the theme here beloved — God will not be mocked! One can almost see the internal struggle Brown is going through. He knows Todd Bentley is wrong here. At a bare minimum, Brown knows the admission from Bentley about the sexual texts about his own wife shared with his interns! Brown correctly states and is keenly aware of what is at stake here. There is real palpable damage to the cause of Jesus Christ.

Yet Brown hides again behind a thin veil of feigned ignorance. When I challenged him years ago about why he was going to appear on Benny Hinn’s show for a week, Brown claimed he had never seen the accusations made against Hinn. When challenged about his defense of the NAR he pretended the NAR did not exist! This attempt to stake out the moral high ground while refusing to actually denounce anyone? That is just what Michael Brown does.

“Third, it is absolutely inexcusable and totally unbiblical for church leaders to put the reputation of an abusive leader before the real needs of the victims of that abuser, along with the needs of those who will be abused should that leader stay in position. This is one of the biggest reasons for outrage in the current situation as well as in similar situations that have been well-documented in recent years. It is not simply that a leader sinned, but that other leaders rallied together to protect the reputation of a fallen leader while completely neglecting the lives of those damaged by that leader. Not only so, but by failing to properly discipline a sinning leader, the door was left open for the pattern of abuse to continue. God’s people are usually quick to forgive those who fall and show true contrition and repentance. But they have a much harder time forgiving leaders who played political games at the cost of the spiritual well-being of others.” — Dr. Michael Brown

Dr. Brown — this is what you do! All the time! In this one article you have already said multiple times you will not say anything about the accusations. This situation is impeccably documented. We have videos from Lakeland. We have the divorce and remarriage. We have Bill Johnson and Rick Joyner’s involvement. Let me ask you — do you agree with Joyner that The Proverbs verses about the righteous falling apply to Todd Bentley? It is alcohol consumption and not illegal drug use that is the number #1 cause of preventable death that’s killing a massive number of Americans yearly

For decades we were told that the greatest threat to American life and liberty came from illegal drugs—cocaine, meth, fentanyl, heroin. And to be sure, those substances have destroyed countless lives. But as new national research continues to roll in, a shocking truth has emerged: the legal, government-sanctioned “social drink” is killing far more people than the substances our leaders claim to be waging war against. A message to President Trump – if you really want to stop the killing from drug use, ban the drug we call alcohol. Alcohol kills far more people than illegal drugs do.

“Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. In this present Laodicean age, where pleasure is the new morality and self-indulgence is the national pastime, alcohol is quietly claiming lives at a rate that far surpasses illicit drug use. The world shrugs. The media yawns. And Christians—many of them—have learned to justify the very thing that is destroying their own households. So as far as I’m concerned, this whole national dialogue about Narcoterrorists killing Americans with illegal drugs doesn’t hold a candle to the millions of kids who are taught to become alcoholics at MLB and NFL stadiums.

A Legal Substance With Illegal-Level Destruction

Recent mortality data reveals that alcohol-related deaths have skyrocketed, overtaking illicit drugs as a major cause of preventable death in the United States. The numbers include liver disease, alcohol-induced organ failure, drunk-driving fatalities, alcohol-fueled violence, and deaths tied to long-term addiction. Yet unlike illegal drugs, alcohol enjoys full cultural acceptance, full government protection, and full corporate marketing power behind it. There is no stigma. No shame. No national warning campaign. Alcohol is celebrated in commercials, sports events, holidays, weddings, even in some so-called “church fellowships.” No Christian should ever drink it, and no preacher should ever stay silent about it.

Because the Bible is not silent. “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise” (Proverbs 20:1). In God’s preserved Book, alcohol is never neutral, never harmless, and never “safe in moderation.” Its end is always destruction. America used to know that when preachers like DL Moody and Billy Sunday stood in the pulpit.

Big Alcohol: A Multibillion-Dollar Industry Built on Broken Homes

If Big Pharma profits from addiction, Big Alcohol might be even worse. Billions of dollars flow through an industry whose survival depends on one thing: repeat customers. The light drinker is not their business. Their real money comes from people they’ve addicted who can’t stop.

And what do we get in return?

  • Tens of thousands of deaths every year
  • Millions of broken marriages
  • Abuse, violence, poverty, and imprisonment
  • Children raised in instability
  • Generational trauma that repeats itself like a curse

This is not an accident. This is the fruit of a system that has normalized what God has condemned. But we were warned: “At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.” (Proverbs 23:32)

Why Christians Are Losing the Battle Before It Even Starts

The saddest part is not what the world is doing with alcohol—it’s what the Church is doing. In this lukewarm Church Age, professing Christians defend alcohol more strongly than they defend the Bible! They insist that “Jesus made wine,” ignoring the scriptural distinctions between fermented and unfermented wine. They argue that drinking is fine “as long as I don’t get drunk,” as if voluntarily consuming a mind-altering substance is some kind of Christian liberty badge. It isn’t.

This is not liberty. It is bondage masquerading as freedom.

The apostle Paul writes, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18). Notice the contrast: one spirit empties you of discernment; the Holy Spirit fills you with it. Alcohol reduces, diminishes, and destroys. The Spirit edifies, strengthens, and sanctifies. But you don’t know that because your pastor doesn’t preach that.

America isn’t merely drunk on alcohol. She is drunk on self-justification, convinced she can handle what is handling her.

When Noah emerged from the ark into a brand-new world, the very first recorded sin was drunkenness and alcohol-induced shame (Genesis 9:20-24). When God describes the fall of Babylon in Revelation 17–18, the imagery again involves intoxication—nations made drunk with spiritual fornication. Alcohol is not just a social issue; it is a spiritual picture of a people dulled, numbed, and desensitized right before judgment falls. America is not dying because of what is illegal, but because of what is celebrated. “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.“1 Peter4:7 (KJB)

Street preacher Mick Fleming in England was recently warned by police over the John 3:16 Bible verse he placed on the back of his van that it could be considered ‘hate speech’

I was browsing my news feed this morning when I came across this article on a street preacher in England, Mick Fleming, who lives in a van and ministers through his Church On The Street ministry. I have never heard of this guy before, know almost nothing about him, but I got saved on John 3:16, so anytime I see an article about that verse it always catches my attention.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJB)

The world is changing rapidly, the spirit of Antichrist is rising, and this lost world is preparing itself from the coming 7-year kingdom. England is a nation that have embraced Socialism, Islam and the LGBTQ, kind of sounds like America, doesn’t it? Any nation who embraces those things inevitably will, at some point, turn again the Bible and the people who believe the Book. Don’t think it could happen here? That’s what every people group thinks right before it happens. Use what freedom you have left, Christian, while you still have it to use. That’s the memo.

Police officer warns Prince William’s vicar friend that John 3:16 Bible verse on his van ‘could be considered hate speech

FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: Pastor Mick Fleming has been warned by a police officer that the bible verse on the back of his van ‘could be considered hate speech’. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mick said: ‘I just thought “wow”. I just wondered what people watching this thought.

‘It’s not to argue but where have we moved to as a country where a bit of Christian scripture on the back of a van can be seen as hateful or spiteful? Maybe society is moving to a place where they don’t want faith-based people sat around a table in discussion with them… for me it’s an integral message of how real change is possible.’

 The law says it could be considered hate speech if the wording is threatening or inciting hatred based on protected characteristics such as religion or sexual orientation.

Mick insisted that he has no plans to remove it as he asked his viewers to give their opinions on whether the scripture could be deemed as offensive.

He said: ‘I am not going to change it, I am going to leave it one but I thought it quite interesting about how it can be perceived. I have never thought about that being something spiteful or hateful in any shape or form. I wondered what you thought – do you think people would take offence to that, and if they did, why?’

Displaying bible verses publicly is generally lawful in the UK. But the law says it could be considered hate speech if the wording is threatening or inciting hatred based on protected characteristics such as religion or sexual orientation. After recently giving up all of his belongings, Mick now lives in a campervan which has the bible verse John 3:16 printed on the back.

The verse reads: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Now the priest has revealed he was approached by a police officer while at a petrol station in Lancashire, who told him ‘the writing could be seen as hate speech in the wrong context’. Despite being told he wasn’t there to arrest Mick, the officer said that ‘if someone reported it police would investigate, and he could end up in trouble’. READ MORE

A 51-foot idol of Lord Ram in North America was unveiled on Sunday at the Hindu Heritage Centre in Mississauga in Canada.

The Bible is quite clear, in the last days after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, Antichrist will come on the scene and he will be a very religious entity. Kinda makes you think that someone has a plan to make idolatry great again here in America, doesn’t it?
